Panera Bread in Rancho Cucamonga

Picked up bagels & treats for a family get-together. Is it too much to expect decent customer service? So tired of snotty kids behind a counter who can barely make an effort to help you, much less do it with a smile. Hey, this is your JOB, its what you get paid for. 🙄

Went yesterday in store yesterday and the staff was very friendly. We were offered samples of their pastries as well. They were busy during the lunch rush yet had everyone person in and out in 10-15 minute. No complaints at all.

Very slow service. Even ordering online, don’t expect your order to be ready. Only one cashier that takes and pack orders, making the line move in slow motion. And the store is often filled or surrounded by homeless people. Food is consistent when you finally receive it.

The positive is the food is good. Unfortunately, the restaurant is filthy. There was a dirty rag left at the drink station, a lot of dirty dishes just sitting by the trash receptical, there is trash all over the carpet, and a trail of spilled coffee from the coffee station to the kitchen area behind the cashier counter. I had to complain to a manager after sitting at least 30 minutes in this filthy place. This was even after I had already told a female cashier and all she did was giggle after I mentioned about the trail of spilled coffee. I was concerned because someone could slip and fall. I was just dumbfounded by the lack of empathy from the employee. That same cashier and the manager were just socializing and laughing before I complained to the manager. This was in a relatively slow Sunday at 5:30PM on April 30, 2023. I do like Panera Bread and will probably come back. I just hope the condition of the restaurant is much better. I have to say the employees preparing the hot food did a great job and did their best to accommodate the customers. It is because of this and the fact the food is good that is preventing me from giving this place a one star. By the way there was still trash all over the floor after being here for an hour when I finally saw someone clean this up. This is so sad.

Nice to have a meal or to work on your laptop. I am a big fan of Panera. However, light roast coffee is different every day, sometimes it is good and others it is bad. They have to fix this issue

They removed all the outdoor patio tables and chairs. Food took 30 minutes to arrive at off peak time (3-3:30). Love Panera but not going back to this one.

The only thing worth coming here for is the sip club deal they have. Food is very expensive and is not that good. $5 for one cookie. Really ? And they dont keep it very clean.

The food great but when I was ordering I felt like I was in a uncomfortable situation when one of the leads blonde girl with glasses was scolding a employee at the register and felt like it was very unprofessional and unnecessary to do it In front of Customers I felt bad for the employee because you noticed he was embarrassed being scolded while he was assisting a customer. As a lead you should be more professional and have a private discussion with the employee if necessary and make the work place safe and comfortable. I’m not one to leave a review but my heart broke for the employe he was probably new and learning and me as human being would never allow someone to be talked to like that.

The coffee was Okay but the place is clean and comfortable.You can come sit, work and study. I like it

This location is amazing I really appreciate that the team preparing orders was accommodating when I was expecting a spacific item when I placed my order at the kiosk and received the wrong item ?
