Panera Bread in Bakersfield

Good pastries and sandwiches. Very good ambiance and very pleasant staff. Bathroom is very clean.

Yesterday was my first time dining at Panera, and it was absolutely scrumptious!! Definitely a 10/10 the food and drinks are amazing, I recommend the chicken noodle soup and the turkey chili! It was to die for! I will without any doubts be coming back here again

Went to eat at the Panera on California in Bakersfield and I must say that it was one of the worse Panera experiences ever at a sit down chain establishment. Customer service at the counter was okay. However, it started going downhill quickly. Finding a seat was ne t to impossible. People should go there and eat and not play board games in groups. I understand if thete is plenty of room but this is a small restaurant. Aside from this, at least 2 tables were broken and/or unsteady. Some of the tables still had left over trays and the workers didnt walk around to buss them. We had to walk around and look for a spot and eventually found a crammed table. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Food tasted delicious! Fast and friendly service! I added basil to my soup and it tastes way better than with croutons.

I enjoy this location! Its close and Im here multiple times a day! Love the Sip Club, The pastries and bagels.The salads and sandwiches are a Great lunch option! The staff are friendly and helpful from the cashiers to the young man cleaning the stations and dining room. Thank U!

Wow this place is amazing 100% five star 100%. Its very clean amazing atmosphere plenty of tables on the inside the outside is very nice to drive through is open till 10:00 the inside is open until 9:00 and what else is there to say see the pictures I will come back and have some soup I will come by and have some coffee what else its just really really nice experience come by check it out they have huge menu with great food great stuff every business should strive to be like this Panera Bread location

I had a craving for some grilled cheese. I asked the lady behind the counter what the portions were and she was completely wrong. I got two grilled cheeses because I wanted two sandwich sized things. They were double the size. She also up-charged me by just putting chips in with the meal. I did not receive a receipt.The food was good, I was surprised by the portion but overall good grilled cheese. If youre going to get the tomato soup, get basil. overall below average Panera. But average Panera quality.Lots of people. Seating is falling apart. Tables are wobbly. At least the two I tried.

I seldom visited Panera, but after joining the Sip Club I stop in much more frequently. Everything is great and the employees are wonderful. Ill certainly renew my membership at the end of the year.

The manager near the food pick-up area was rude. I asked a question about my orders and she gave attitude when she responded. She needs to learn better customer service skills.

I ordered Mediterranean bowl with chicken. Quantity is very low for the price and taste is okay. It got soggy with Greek yogurt. Not a good experience. Taste 👎 for the high price.
