By far the best location in all of Sacramento and surrounding areas! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The staff greets you upon walk in. No matter swamped they are with orders they maintain smiles and great energy. I be happy to wait patiently when things are hectic. It’s my way of showing gratitude to their exceptional customer service. I know many of the staff by name as they very well know mine. I decided to leave this review because whenever I go to other locations (Elk Grove, Folsom, Citrus Heights) they make HOWE look even better! I am so grateful for the staff at HOWE you guys are awesome!

Called to talk with the manager about purchasing 4 cinnamon rolls, the rolls were raw inside. Ended up throwing them out. The manager explained that they have a new baker. Please monitor the bakers to make sure there is proper rise time and they are baked through. Please dont sell the public raw dough.I must say the bread is amazing, pumpkin cookies were amazing. Cinnamon rolls, not so much. I will not purchase them again. The manager did say to me that the next time I come in, give my name and they will take care of me. I am registered on the Panera App.

They allow employees to smoke marijuana while on their break. Bring intoxicated while working is fine I was told. What about food safety for your customers.

I ordered ahead online and accidentally sent it to the wrong location. The manager explained how yo cancel the order, took a new one, and honored the rewards discount that I had used for the misplaced order. They are SO HELPFUL here every time!

It would be awesome if they could get your drink right. The only thing I am able to drink Id Dr Pepper. I am very specific when I order. Half the time I get coke or Diet Dr Pepper. When I ask at the window if it IS Dr Pepper they assure me its just what I ordered.

Its definitely a taste you have to acquire for, but its not too bad. Everyone would be able to find something here they would like. I ordered cheese pizza, a slight tang flavor added than your normal cheese pizza (it was too much for my 6 y/o to appreciate) lol I had duet, tuna sandwich with tomato soup,...it was......fine. And thats all I can say about that. 😊

Had Panera Chipotle Flatbread Pizza for the first time and it was excellent! I ordered the pizza without sauce. Unfortunately, there was sauce on it however, they remade a new pizza without charging. The staff was wonderful and allowed me to give the first pizza to someone else. I was very impressed with their service.

Im reluctant with tipping for takeout because of places like this. You dont even have to serve me the food or act polite when you ring me up but PLEASE at least be ACCURATE with my order. Come on, its listed on the receipt! I already have to deal with the uncleanly appearance of trash littered about the parking lot and sketchy people loitering around this location (Sacramento at its finest) but I really also have to deal with employees not performing their job well.I already have to deal with myself being hangry (mostly hungry and pretty irritable because of it), which would make some sense why Id come here, right? On top of that, Im an [socially] angsty woman of all things, so I order takeout specifically to limit any possible negative/uncomfortable interactions yet it feels like this place is intentionally trying to push my buttons because this visit today isnt my first time with inaccurate takeout orders.The food is fine, depending on what you order. You cant really go wrong with ordering a pastry (okay, maybe it can taste really dry, but I havent had a problem *yet*). I enjoy the [french onion] soup (and soups are only available after 10:00am) as well as the soufflés (which are made in the morning so since they dont make many of them, your best chance of purchasing one is within an hour of the location opening). There are some other things Ive ordered here (sandwiches, mac&cheese, bagels, drinks, etc.) and they taste just as youd expect for what you pay for. What I like about ordering through the app is that you get to customize certain items in your order so its nice that I can substitute ingredients for sandwiches (i.e. different bread, add/remove sauces/veggies, etc.) and this location will at least get all my customizations correct so far (if they dont forget to include the food item with the rest of my order, that is).Im particularly annoyed with todays visit since I decided to try out the teriyaki chicken and broccoli bowl for $13.69 and of course, that was the food item that I didnt receive. I placed a future order for takeout at 07:40 in the morning and everything else was ready by the time I arrived around 07:33 (because I only ordered pastries anyway). The employee handed me the bag over-the-counter and I thought it felt a bit light but didnt dig too deep into the bag, assuming that Id be able to trust their customer service (even though they have let me down before on previous visits). By the time I drove the 2 miles home, eager to eliminate my hunger, I open up the bag to realize that the teriyaki chicken & broccoli bowl was missing. At this point, Im quite infuriated because I had to drive the 2 miles back for a bowl that ended up looking pretty mediocre (and mind you, they did NOT apologize or even offer anything to make up for it - (some places will at least give a cheap drink or food item for wasting your time but not here!). And because Im a bratty person, I lost my appetite having to deal with these frustrations but still have to live with myself and force myself to eat to survive since I already paid about $40 for my whole order. First-world problems, amiiright? I submitted a case to Panera Bread about this locations issues with order inaccuracy but with my experience of their work ethic so far, I dont know if the company really cares since order inaccuracy seems to occur pretty often here.Regardless of my experience, the staff at this location should be double-checking all orders to ensure that all customers are being provided with the correct order that they paid for. By no means will order accuracy be perfect all the time, but with how often missing/incorrect items occur, this location is really lacking.

Used to love this place. Pre Covid this was a popular place four writers professionals college professors etc to work on projects. Place people would buy coffee, breakfast, lunch. Apparently they added a new program where you can buy a coffee beverage subscription by the month. And apparently when doing this they eliminated all the accounts of all the long-term customers. The cashier explained the beverage program only after I prompted her. Apparently I need to drive back home sign up for the program on the web, and drive back over if I want to buy anything from them because I have to fill out an application that Im not able to do on my cell phoneI kept telling me what are you can buy stuff. You dont need to sign up you can just buy things. I walked out. I was also turned off when I ride because staff blasted their heavy bass anger music through the parking lot for a while before going in. I dont like going places where people feel like they can shove their music attitudes opinions etc down my life. Out to other coffee places with better attitudes.

High quality green goddess salad with fresh greens and lots of toppings. Friendly and attentive staff. This is how a Panera should be operated.
