All the pink and rotten lettuce I found in my salad, and not 1 piece of chicken in my chicken noodle soup :( I usually dont leave bad reviews but this was really gross, I thought maybe I was being a wimp and the pink of the lettuce was just oxidation and safe to eat, but no, tastes rotten too. Someone should throw out that old lettuce before someone gets sick.

Today I decided to go alone and place an order for my first time. I was lost. I didnt know how to order. Daniel helped me out. I purchased the Unlimited Sip and he explained how it works. I made sure to let the people behind me go first because I knew I had a few questions and didnt want to hold up the line.He quickly looked up my number and took my order. He explained the bowls/dishes as well. I made my choice and had an over all pleasant experience. It didnt feel like I was talking to someone just working there. The fact he was genuine in helping me out is the reason Ill be going back from now on. I was intimidated by ordering, but this guy made the difference. I enjoyed the food as well.On a side note. I read the negative reviews. Please be patient and understanding. As I was waiting for my food, I got a glimpse of rest of the staff. They look very busy.We just need to be kind. You never know what kind of day theyre having. Be a nice human.- Combat veteran who suffers from PTSD

The food is great. BUT. The prices are insane, $40 for my girlfriend and I to get the tiniest amount of food and still be hungry after. AND everytime we go they are always out of some sort of ingredient. Never have avocado and they wont give you a discount for them being out of avocado. For $40 Ill make my own sandwiches

Had lunch today 7/26/23. To start the fountain drink machine had no ice and to one to refill it. The food was fine but where I sat was at the far east side of the dining area. The back wall bench seating was taken up by a family (all adults). They where eating Asian and pizza with Starbucks drinks, on their phones and charging them. At the other end of the bench was a single male also looked like he moved in. It’s great that Panera allows people to hang out but this was borderline squatter status. Building wasn’t cool so it’s a mild relief from the heat I guess. It looks bad and not inviting to dine in location. Best go to other locations or drive thru

This is the second time Ive ordered and received only 1/2 the ingredients. My family salads were 1/2 full and the flatbread had mo sauce on them. Which made them extremely dry. Dining room is usually dirty.Most of the staff r very nice but some of the supervisors can be rude.

It is very unfortunate. My wife bought a breakfast chipotle chicken avocado sandwich this morning to come and find out the chicken was raw when she had already eaten some of the sandwich. We just got out of the urgent care as her face got swollen from the reaction. I used to love Panera but I feel very upset that my wife had to go through this painful situation plus the time wasted at the hospital. After this experience I doubt we will ever go back there. Please check your sandwich before you start eating it, just a word of advice.

We came to Panera at 1 o’clock, it took 45 minutes to get our food. We did not even get an explanation as to why it took so long, when we asked all the worker said was that our food was all the way at the end. Our food wasn’t the only one that was delayed, multiple customers were waiting for their food for a long time. I have been to multiple Paneras but never experienced poor customer service like I did today.

My daughter loves this location. Its Ina shopping center so you cant hear much traffic. We can talk and eat lunch and she always loves the cheddar broccoli soup here. It is always fresh:)

Another Panera, another disappointment. I ordered the cobb salad, which already comes with avocado included, and Im served no avocado. Shift manager brings me avocado in a cup, apologizes and offers a free pastry. Nice gesture, but I dont eat sweets. I look down at the cup and see avocado with brown parts. I know Im complaining about avocado, but if the staff, including the shift manager, feels its okay to serve brown avocado to guests, how low are the standards for other ingredients?

Stood at the counter 5 minutes this morning. Not one acknowledgement. There was what appeared to be either a district manager or area manager, had a POS swipe card dressed in slacks and dress shirt and cared more about changing the light bulb right above the POS instead of acknowledging I was right there. A simple someone will be right there to help you or even a can I help you or take my order. Customer service skills lacking. Should of used the kiosk and cut out the customer service, or lack there of. If it wasnt for the sip club, rather get my coffee somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Went through the drive thru at 6:05 and was waiting at the speaker for about 2 min. I got to the window and noticed the manager and all the employees NOT have their headsets on. The manager and a red headed girl saw me and kept ignoring me.Then the manager comes and opens the window and doesn’t say anything just stares at me.I told her I have a pick up and she says “what’s the name” and I point at literally the only order she has on the drive thru 🤡I said my name and she gives me my order.This would never happen under the other managers (really tall / skinny) when he’s working, the whole team is moving.

We received the wrong food items for the pick 2 orders. After going to the pick up area to resolve the issue I was received with a rude, hostile and unprofessional employee. She was not professional at all at resolving the issue, requested to bring back ALL food items and we were reprimanded for receiving the wrong items. The manager was of no help as well, taking the side of the employee who just reprimanded us and demanded for the food items to be returned or pay for the food that we received incorrectly. Never coming here again.

I am a regular here and asked for the restroom code from the girl, painted with heavy cosmetics, wearing a cap, behind the kitchen counter. She answered with a condescending tone, side eyes, and a contorted face. Wonder such a low classed and unobservant character is ideal for this joint to render customer service; if so, good luck!

Panera is one of my favorite places, I been to multiple locations in this month and this is my first bad experience, items missing in my order and some items not even charged when we asked twice for one specifically, I had to return to get one item remade and customer service was so mono toned and after driving back I wasn’t even offered the “treat” promised on receipt for my trouble

This is my first time reviewing this Panera, and I actually work right across the street. I’ve been coming here for over a year and the way that the cashier today spoke to me was highly unprofessiona when I was being nice. There was a long line of cars which is understandable, but if you are going to be in the customer service business like this, you need to put on face. You are not the only one who is working as a lot of people are coming here for their one hour lunch. My order was incorrect but didn’t have enough time to go back to get what I actually ordered. Today is Thursday, June 1st and I had my order taken around 12:45-ish. This Panera in this particular area needs to do better with people who are taking drive-through orders. This is a highly condensed area where Kaiser and the Los Angeles county office of education is in the proximity as well as other businesses. Do better Panera!!!

All of our party was delightfully surprised at the deliciously flavorful food. Among other things, I ordered the chicken tikka masala soup. It was incredible! Good fun music was playing in the background and the employees who took our orders were very helpful. You have to bus your own table.

I came in today and I had a wonderful experience. Mariano took my order and he was absolutely incredible. It’s hard to find good service in today’s fast pace world especially in the food service industry. He was completely efficient and professional but took the time to patiently explain things. The ambiance is great, clean too! Definitely recommend and hope he is treated with kindness and respect because he is an asset to Panera.

The cooks place their toxic receipts on the cheese pizza. It is pretty gross. They did this twice, and the manager implied that this was their policy. Awesome! (being sarcastic) They can easily place the receipt next to or under the plate, like they do with other plates. In so many words, the manager told me to get lost. Thanks.

I went here to pick up a Postmates order. I go through the drive through because theres no parking and its lunch rush hour. So I wait in line at the drive through and since Ive NEVER had a problem going through any other drive throughs for Postmates orders, I didnt think this would be any different. Then its finally my turn. When I speak to the lady at the mic she said shes unable to give me Postmates orders through the drive through and I need to walk in. Great! I just waited in line and I cant back up or go forward because theres a line in front of me and in back. Ugh! Then I wait another 10 mins for them to finish with the people in front of me. Keep in mind, local Postmates orders are a payout of $4 a delivery and rely mostly on tips. Im upset because my time has been wasted. I wait at the window and wait another 3 mins or so. I see the girls in the window pointing at me and talking. Finally the manager, Monique tells me the same thing and that thats the way her boss wants things done. Which is ridiculous because if youre partnered with Postmates you should have them put that in the app! Nowhere in the order did it say that. Ive seen plenty of merchants write their own set of rules to avoid these types of incidents. This was very unpleasant and unprofessional and a total waste of time. I will never go to this Panera to eat or pick up an order from Postmates here again! As a matter of fact, any Panera! No wonder its at 2.5 stars on Yelp!

This has been the third or fourth time that they kept adding chicken into my sandwich when I specified that I did not want chicken and that I could not eat chicken due to allergies. Added it in anyways even though the order receipt clearly indicated No pulled chicken. Called in and then even drove back to replace it, no apology, no acknowledgment of the mistake. They just took forever to make the sandwich again and then that was it. If you are going to be overpricing the food, then you might as well provide good customer service. If not, then will just take my business elsewhere.

This Downey location however has really good customer service! They don’t rush me thru and remind me if I have a rewards card number. Today was more the expected, I was having issues with my teenager and became teary eyed… the guy in the cashier guy at the window glanced over into my car to see if I was ok. And he asked me if everything was alright. I genuinely felt his sincerity, and I’m grateful for his astuteness. (We’re fine, just a mom dealing with moody teenager)… but thank you for going above and beyond.

Fast casual dining at its healthiest? Out of all the restaurants in the area, Panera is the fastest healthy food you can get. I say healthy because you can get fun food there too. Not too much different from other Paneras, the staff is friendly and they try and keep the place clean. Very high traffic, especially during lunch rush though. -update- best order ahead if its during lunch rush, place gets a lot of people during this time.

I ordered and iced vanilla latte for rapid pick up and when I showed up to pick it up I told the employee the name on the order. He looked like he had a lot of them so I thought it’d be helpful to mention that it was just a drink by saying “it’s just an iced coffee”. It was actually an iced vanilla latte- after this experience I think there’s a difference?? Because iced coffee is apparently self serve, so much for “rapid pick up”. I mentioned I never had to do self serve and he said that it’s always been self serve so I went on and served myself from the machine. I got in my car and did not like it so I called to see if I could get a refund or my proper drink remade. The manager Irene? Ira? Not sure. Had the opportunity to help me out and offer to make the drink that I actually ordered. However she kept cutting me off when talking so she probably didn’t even hear when I mentioned what my order was. So she said she could give me a refund but to show up in person. I was so frustrated that she kept interrupting me that I simply said “ok thank you”. I was at work so couldn’t go until I took my break. My coworker went for her break and she offered to buy me my coffee. She went 30 mins after I had originally gone to pick up my drink and she showed up with a watered down coffee with a sticker of 30 minutes prior. THE TIME THAT I ORDERED!!!! the most frustrating thing out of all of this is that they had so many opportunities to help me out! The moment I told the guy I always pick up my drink at the counter the least he could’ve done was to check through the orders to see if maybe he saw my name and if not he could’ve proceeded me to self serve. The manager could have offered to remake my drink that I PAID FOR. When I showed up for my refund the guy who had me self serve earlier was Ofcourse doing nothing at the register talking to the cashier he could’ve apologized or said that my drink was in fact ready at the counter. Even that goes a long way but instead he recognized me and turned away while making an awkward facial expression. The employees all look so young and immature clearly lacking understanding of proper customer service. Not once was I rude and dealt with the situation to not give anyone a hard time but I am so mindblown at how something so small turned my experience so negative all because of the lack of customer service.

I loved the food and service. It was my first time going to Panera as well as my first time out after the pandemic. This location has a drive-thru with a strong focus on that clientele. If you plan to dine-in for awhile and use Wi-Fi, there is limited seating (extra seating on the patio) inside, infact the air conditioning seems to be kept extra cold so that you dont stick around too long. Some Servers (not all) seem to be in a rush to process your order and skip steps that lead to inaccuracies. I could say more.

Panera is close to where we stay. The food is delicious especially the Spinach and Feta Quiche.I love the little rhubarb sweet- nice to top a sandwich or quiche off with. I love how nice and quiet it is and the staff are friendly. I love that every Panera is consistent and delivers the same quality. This is a great place to get some work done and have a delicious meal. Much more quiet than Starbucks and not sub zero temperatures like a lot of coffee shops. Get the reward card! It gives a ton of free items.

I was disappointed in my last visit, the tables werent clean even though it wasnt crowded. There was only one person delivering orders and cleaning tables. There were also little gnats flying around. The restrooms were disgusting, they needed cleaning and the towel dispenser is positioned over the counter, to dispense into a puddle of water collecting at that end of the counter. This is my 3rd visit and I just dont care much for this place.

I like coming to Panera. I dont come as often so its always pleasant to come and try new drinks and foods. The breakfast souffle was what drew me into the restaurant. I was surprised when I came one afternoon and they said theyd run out. So heads up if you want one of their yummy souffles get there early.

The only drawback that resulted in a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is the cost. Its definitely pricy but it IS top quality....there are less pricier alternatives like McDonalds, but then you would have to watch your stuff like a hawk cuz of the homeless and tweakers.
