I went through drive through . I was the only vehicle! Purchased Grilled cheese Sandwich! The worker assumed what I wanted as my sides and choose yogurt. I had to inform him that he didn’t ask me if I wanted yogurt or anything ! He didn’t say nothing and said come to window, Then I informed him I had a phone number !When I open my sandwich to my surprise neither was grilled and the cheese was melted. I called and reported to manager on duty and he stated that all sandwich are cooked correctly. I told him my sandwich is not grilled and it’s nasty . He then asked will I be back this evening . Please learn how to grill bread . At least toast it . This right here is a cheese melt

Avoid this location or youll be sorry! The cashier wasnt able to even answer a basic question I had. The reply? I just work here. Okay I get it. I was willing to let that slide until I saw how empty a half salad was. See attached picture. Then, there was all the dirty dishware at the bussing stations. My rating along with all the other 1 Star ratings should be a big red flag. Im never coming back here. Ill go to Concord instead.

This location disappoints with poor management and subpar service. Despite subscribing to the Sip Club, the coffee is frequently unavailable, leading to frustrating waits of 10 to 15 minutes for a refill. Its evident that the staff neglects regular checks on the coffee bar. To add to the dissatisfaction, the place is consistently dirty, with overflowing trash bins that seem to go unattended.I also experienced an issue where the coffee machine remained broken for an entire month. This unfortunate situation meant that, despite being subscribed to the Sip Club, I lost out on one months worth of coffee while still being charged for the service.The Panera here in Walnut Creek falls short of the standards set by other locations, making it a regrettable choice.

Not the best Panera location I have seen. Coffee is never hot, restrooms are not clean. However food was amazing and staff are super helpful as per Panera standards.

Most tables dirty, hard to find a clean table to eat at. Other customers were complaining about how long it was taking.. should of been first sign… Workers seem disinterested in customer service…. I’ve never had this experience in this Panera ever.. sadAlmost forgot, the coffee was out and no one said anything, just left customers bumbling around looking for the coffee.. you would think they would say it was in the process of being brewed and would be out in a bit, but no, just took order and money and ‘next’….

Food was good but Ill never understand why Panera cant put the cream cheese or butter on your bagel. I even heard one of the employees ask another can we put butter on hers.? Another employee answers no we dont do that. Not that Im against preparing my own bagel but normally you are out and about and not prepared to fix up your food. Which is why you pay for prepared food. And the bagels were in one large bag so the prep table had to be the large bag that both bagels came in. At least with individual bags for bagels you can use that for prep work.

The staff is very bad at serving. Its not the first time Ive gone to get food and had to wait 1 hour for it to be ready. the employees smell of marijuana, red eyes and a lot of incompetence, they smoke and cant do a pleasant and quick job, I wont ever go back.

Second time I’ve tried to Panera when I walked in the door, the carpet was rolled up in front of the door, and I tripped when I mentioned it to the young lady at the register, she looked at me like I had told her to jump off a cliff and then snapped at me and asked if I wanted it got worse from there. I ordered the margarita pizza and the cheddar cheese noodles mac & cheese and when I asked what the extra item on the receipt was, she snapped at me it was the bread and it came free and I said I didn’t order it. She snapped at me again you have to take it. Then it gets worse. The tables are filthy. There’s trash on the floor. I mention it again to the people behind the counter that were making the food about the carpet because I never got a response and they didn’t give me one either. I’m definitely not going back no more second chances.

Understaffed and disorganized. Rather than close stores when employees aren’t available or offer higher compensation to attract more employees, this location operates on the cheap and burdens customers with long lines and even longer wait times. We arrived at 2pm and there were dozens of customers waiting to place orders - zero employees behind the counter so we used a kiosk. Ten minutes later a cook came out and yelled that orders were “45 minute waits”. Cancelling the order and getting a refund was painful and time consuming. Spent 30 minutes at the location and walked out with no food.

I’m a Panera Bread 🥖 Lover but I must say that this location is THEE DIRTIEST I’ve ever been too. I visited at 7:30am and it looked like no one cleaned the night before or that morning. The front door was filthy( finger prints, smeared food, etc.), the floors were dirty, the glass surrounding the pastries was DIRTY! I went to grab a few tea bags and allOf the canisters were dirty,… I’ve never seen anything like this at Panera Bread. I definitely will not visit this location again. I really need them to do a deep clean and have staff clean regularly throughout the day. YUCK!
