I used to really enjoy Panera but their prices have gotten so high for a self service restaurant. Almost 18.00 for soup and salad and no beverage. For a couple dollars more I can go to a full service restaurant and not have to stand in line, pick up my own order while hoping no one takes my table and then bus my table when I am done. Honestly I should have left myself a tip.😉

Was super nice! The lighting is great, its quiet and homey, the dishes (as in plates and bowls) are simple an artistic, the food was really yummy, healthy, vegan friendly, pretty to look at and it came is Perfect portions. Plus, the drinks are fresh and it smells great inside. Its clean and well lit, the system of trash is very simple an eco friendly. Ive only eaten Panera 3x in my life (twice dine in, once delivery) and each experience was positive.

Here is a review not written by someone paid to inflate ratings. I write reviews when I am either impressed with a business or really disappointed in one - this one is the later type:Interior was dirty, staff was rude, bad drinks. This Panera is always a mess - you wonder if anyone has ever vacuumed or cleaned the carpet. Touch screen terminals are also broken half the time.Staff incredibly rude - watched staff member sweeping dust into a seated patrons face from the filthy carpet - with a broom. Staff member was either too oblivious or too rude to see the problem. If a person doesnt automatically see this as a problem - you dont educate that behavior - you just need to let that person go. This behavior is the reason Im writing this review. Just outrageous.Drinks are also inconsistent - often empty and no one refills. Also unhygienic - staff brings tea in buckets - no gloves or mask - dont really want to drink tea sneezed in by their staff but that is the situation.

Love Panera. Sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries, bread. Everything is good. Convenient you-pick-2 combinations.This visit coffee in dispensers was really cold, but asked for newly brewed hot coffee and were helped briefly.Really recommend.

Good food, usually. Unfortunately, this Panera Bread doesnt have most of the items they offer available. Around 60% of the food and drinks are usually sold out or not in stock (Ive tried at 11am, 3pm, 5pm, Mon-Sun). Ive never seen this happen before, anywhere in the East Coast and Central and South US.The staff is nice and polite all the time. If you order drinks online you have to request the cups from the staff, as at this location they do not have the cups available for you to grab and go.Not the best Panera, sadly.

Panerai Bread is super clean, friendly, and tasty. The four cheese souffle is amazingly good. Their strawberry banana Greek yogurt smoothie was delicious. Tip, souffle runs out early.

The food is decent for the price. I ordered a chicken sandwich and was surprised that the bread was not that fresh (don’t they bake bread here)? The coffee is decent and their monthly service is also good value. The wifi is so slow, however; if you’re looking to get some work done here I would watch out for that.

Really like the food and drinks. One of your self service machine doesn’t work and it tells you until you are gonna pay… tables are duty. Thought because it was busy but the cleaning lady just takes the plates and throws whatever is on the table with her hand no wiping no nothing… 🫠

I like Panera so much, sandwiches are great, and soups, highly recommend trying the chicken chipotle thats one of the best. 🙊The only thing with this location is the homeless 😬, they were seated outside but entered to grab limonade, but besides that everything is just fine, service is good. Prices are fair, but drinks are a bit expensive 🙃.

Not sure why this place has such bad reviews. Ive always been happy with the quality of the food, you can go anywhere and get a burger & fries cheap. The meals my husband and I had was $23 total, we had water to drink. We were very happy with the quality of the food,. Service was also good.

Their iced coffee are great! Its somewhat clean but some tables are messy or have a lot of plates, bowls, trash, etc. At least theres napkins and water so I can clean the damn table! Also I was drawing so I noticed a worker was giving samples. He was giving samples but not me. I knew he saw me but wow. Is it because Im not white or what? I guess hes racist and maybe abliest too. His name is Robert. I feel disgusted how people treats someone whos not white or disabled or both. I hope the manager do something about this. :)

I ordered from this place, on their app, 4 times.First order, I went to pick it up in store and they didn’t have my order. They said they only had half my order and could not fill the other half. They said they would refund my money for the other half. They did not.Second time, I ordered to pick up in store again, and my order was incorrect. I had to wait for them to redo the order. At least they had the items to fill the order this time.Third time, I ordered to pick up in store, and they didn’t have my order at all. They had to pack it once we showed up. Who gets a tiny individual size cream cheese for 13 bagels??Last, I ordered for a delivery to come to my home the day before Thanksgiving. They sent half my order. I had to go to the store to fix it. They tried to blame the DoorDash guy for it being wrong. They said he told them I wanted the bread bowls cut. I did not. However, regardless of the items being cut, it was still HALF the order. The DoorDasher didn’t fill the order. I used THEIR app. The same one I used the first three times.I ordered delivery because I’m sick and didn’t want to have to go to the store in person. Off I went though, 8:00am, to fix it. If I had waited for my husband to get off work to pick it up, they would have been out of the items needed.This location on Broadway, in Chula Vista, is just the worst.The only good things I can say are, when they have it, the food is good and the employees are not rude. We didnt have a good meal here. My mom ordered the pick two deal, Smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich with the Turkey Chili soup. I also got pick two with the Chicken Frontega Sandwich and the BBQ chicken salad. The guy we got the food from gave her chips instead and said that the turkey chili soup definitely has milk in it but in the kiosk, we wanted to exclude milk from the soup and it didnt stop us from ordering the turkey chili soup. What? My mom also got the the hazelnut coffee from the self-serving station and it wasnt hot plus it had a weird aftertaste. I tasted it too and agreed with her. For my ½ Frontega Chicken Sandwich, it didnt even have any basil. Not enough chicken, not enough cheese. For my salad, it was good. It tasted fine and I liked the sauce and crunchy little chips. My mother just came out from urgent care and she was in pain and I didnt care about the missing basil because of how hungry I was. My mother and I wont be coming back. I also got hot chocolate and it was too sweet. Dont get extra whipped cream and caramel drizzle like me.

The app to order food is never synch with thr items available for sale. They never have the souffle available so when you show up to pick up your order curbside. Its surprise! We do not have your items we can give you this. If you do not want what we have you need to get off your vehicle for a refund. Then based on their policy the company refunds you the money after 3 days. So make sure you spend your money well and dine in to avoid the frustration of not getting your money back and your items. Why would you be charged for something you didnt get.

Applies to the Chula Vista Center location. The staff here was young, so the service was extremely slow. Not caused by lack of experience; rather their propensity to socialize with their customers. Chatting with your customers is often an enjoyable and welcome occurance; but NOT when you have a line of customers waiting to order. Being sociable, and professionally-effecient is a fine line/difficult skill for anyone to learn.

Both times I called Panera right after placing the order to ask them to put butter in the bag since there is no where to type it in the order notes and for some reason its not automatic included. Both times they assured me they would and didnt :( very disappointing especially since Im at work and dont have access to butter. If your not going to do....dont promise it.

I have been eating at this location since 2006/2007, to date, its still as great as ever, Im glad to see staff doesnt change, in the sense that theyre still friendly and polite and patient (I have 3 indecisive kids now lol). I rate this five stars because my client really loves them. Their food and breads are great. However, being the person who is paying out the money, I might have thought I was in Vegas eating at Emerils where the portions are small and the price is high. Also, nowadays with curbside and orders to go, I was told that they couldnt take my order over the phone and I had to pay for it online. When I got to the store there are two kiosks to order and skip the line, but I guess I didnt have the coveted Panera card so the kiosk wouldnt accept my credit card! Even when I got to a person to order, they asked me about whether I had a Panera card. What Panera card?So, this was also how my day was going and I dont want to deter you from eating here. For most people the portions are healthy. But for the customer, as we open up and have new systems in place, the in store customer experience may be a thing of the past.

This experience was just average. Had to order on the app. I guess boomers dont navigate this app well. Sandwich was just basic and unappetizing. Bread as always was good. The iced tea (black tea) was excellent. Wife enjoyed the tomato bisque soup and Caesar salad. Ill be back when all covid restrictions are lifted and a human can make sure that I get everything I want on my sandwich.

Weve visited at least twice now, and our order was perfect each visit (compared with the other locations which mess up our orders almost every time). The staff was very helpful. Im order wasnt there because someone had stolen it. So they had to remake it and I had to wait another 10-15 which I understand isnt their fault but I really think panera should not put the orders on a shelf where anyone can just come up and grab the order and no one is keeping track of if the right Person is picking up their own order. A young lady screamed at the top of her lungs instead of activating buzzer, it was awful. I have ordered several times through various apps now and its been hit or miss whether I do pick up or get delivery. Items missing, whole orders canceled several times(no where near closing), incorrect items given.But on the ocassion it is correct, the food is always the right temperature and is good. Just plain horrible, I ordered one sandwich online and it doesnt get to my house (Wich is a 5 minute drive from there) until about 2 hours later. Only to have gotten a completely different order with a completely different name. We call them and a manager starts laughing at our complaints. We get there about 5 minutes later and she starts acting like the victim, saying that it wasnt her fault and she starts screaming shame on you she starts tearing up and saying that shes a good worker, but in my opinion a good worker would have owned up to there mistake and helped the costumer. In the end its in the past and Ive moved on but I do not recommended unless you want to get yelled at/shamed for wanting your food right.

This visit was good. I tried one of the soba noodle bowls. It was the one with chicken and I really liked it. It was very filling and came with sourdough bread which I love. My only complaint is they rarely have decaf coffee out except at really busy times and some of us cant drink regular coffee because of heart problems or just a sensitivity to caffeine.

I had a problem with my order. I asked the cashier if she could help me as my gift card didnt go through, she then said you can use it next time. I said no, I want to use it now. She then walked to the manager 3 different times to relay his messages. It was supposed to be a few minutes wait. I can see him talk to his employees and cook, but he cannot attend a customer. This is by far the worst Panera Ive been to. Staff was very unfriendly, they spell names wrong and when you ask if your order is ready, you get your head taken off. I was told not to touch my own order, they spelled my name wrong. After telling them that was my order, they asked to see receipt, which I was not provided. After deliberations, It took them almost 30 minutes to assemble my order and they werent even busy. I asked the employee if my order was ready and she was very snippy. I suggest proper customer service training for all employees.

I have been a couple of times there now. It use to bo ok. Food is not bad but the service needs a lot to hope for. Most of the ti.e sitting is not available due to the lack of cleaning. My husband, kids and I came for breakfast and the workers are nice and all but the service isnt all that great. The food was just ok. The fruit was well, the fruit; at least it was cold. The cheese pastry was cold!! A pastry is supposed to be fresh; either warm or hot like fresh out of the oven not cold! The sandwiches were ok. They were soggy and not very warm. My experience in this location was unfortunate since I have enjoyed dining in other Paneras. There was a mix up with the number given to me for the dine in, which prompted me to go to an employee that couldnt find us because of the wrong number. Once we get our food both of our spoons were dirty. That is unfortunate since that about says why i gave it 2 stars. The food was ok, but the fact that the utensils were dirty and when i went to get two new ones the person spent more time than it should have taken to get us clean ones (fiddling around the utencils for a while trying to get some cleans ones) it just put me off from ever dining at this location.

The staff seems really disorganized the tables were dirty not every table had a marker that you can slip your number into that shows the staff where youre sitting I dont know maybe it was the time of day that I went but I know that they gave you the saddests pickle I ever did see. It looked as if someone was going to keep mashing this already flat pickle. The sandwich had tomatoes on it that were so runny and sloppy it made everything fall apart and my bread moist I had the turkey bacon Bravo but I know it could have potentially been really good had the Tomato Been less wet. I usually get the chicken wild rice soup and usually thats on point and I get the pick two. Maybe I should just stick with my usual.
