Panera Bread in Citrus Heights

Once upon a time, Panera was pretty good quality chain cafe food, at a higher cost. Now, its microwaved sadness and costs even more. I stopped here for breakfast and a madagascar vanilla latte today. The espresso machine was down, so the drive thru server offered an iced coffee with vanilla instead. However, they neglected to mention that it would be $2 extra for the vanilla, instead of comping it since their machine that makes the majority of their coffee drinks is broken. Also, they added whipped cream without asking. The iced coffee tastes like something that came out of a plastic bag. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Scrambled Egg and Avocado on Ciabatta sandwich, and theres no chipotle sauce on it. Can you see any in the photo? $6.39 for what appears to be canned shredded unseasoned chicken, with some microwaved rubbery cheese and a pre made egg patty from a bag. How this place has 4 stars is beyond me.

The smoothie size is not worth nearly $7. Nothing this small should be worth this much. Doesnt matter the quality for a fast food type place.Just go to Jamba Juice or literally anywhere else for a decent sized smoothie.Is it good? Sure.Would I get it again. Maybe if I dined in and the size was not a small childs size.

A couple of days ago we learned about the Panera cafe chain. We really liked it here. 👍😍Lots of places to sit down to talk, work on the computer, just drink coffee. 🙋‍♀️💁‍♂️💻☕️🥮This is the first time we see such marketing of a cafe. 🥇🏆You install the app, pay $12, and you can drink any drink for free for a month! 🥇And even at the first registration for coffee, any bun as a gift. 🥇And even the first month you can not pay even $ 12 at all! 🥇Cool 👍Of course, you need to make coffee yourself, its not as tasty as for a fee. 😉☕️But other drinks do not need to be prepared. 🙃🥤When you drive around the city, you can stop by every 2 hours and drink a delicious drink and all this for $ 12 a month. 😎🏎👍We are really delighted with this option :) 🤩I would like to visit more often and try how tasty they cook. Like for sure!✅👍🏆

Havent been to a Panera in about 3 years was there isnt one in the small town I live in now. Usually theyre pretty good, so I was disappointed when it wasnt very good. This time I went thru the drive thru and ordered a 1/2 Asian sesame salad which was yummy, and a 1/2 a chipotle chicken sandwich which was meh and salty.

My wife loves this place, kids too I guess. I just cant get full, is that bad thing? It is tasty food and its healthier than fast food. Really good food though. My favorites are the white cheddar mac & cheese and the spinach souffle Location is fantastic. Used to be Crispy Creme Donuts . Parking is plentiful but we use the drive through every time.

I visited this location on a rainy day. I wanted a nice hot bowl of soup to warm me up. The soup they gave me was lukewarm and the bowl was half empty. They also only have one flavor of potato chip. The only thing I liked was the hibiscus pear tea they had. I have only been to Panera Bread one other time and it was good so I returned. Not sure if I will go back maybe just for the pink juice, lolA luncheon brought me back today. The flat bread pizza was sure good. I upped my rating by a star. About 5 years later.

0 Stars……so many mistakes they couldnt get our order right! First mistake was not hearing the Mac & Cheese part. That’s okay, easy fix. But we paid for a bowl size and got the smallest size! To then taking a bite only for the middle part to be frozen! Adding to the frustration, they had no baguette bread so we got a whole loaf, just to open the bag and find ONE OPENED butter container, further demonstrating a lack of attention to detail and customer satisfaction. This visit left us thoroughly dissatisfied with the quality and service.

Cool establishment! I drink coffee every day! I really like it, when I come to this country and every day I really feel spending on coffee, but here for a subscription of $ 11 I can drink coffee for a whole month! I recommend and the buns are delicious!

Panera Bread Bakery always seems busy, but the service is usually fast and friendly.I Tried the spinach artichoke soufflé and the Mexican street corn soup 🥣 Both were very delicious. The soufflé was buttery with a flaky crust the picture doesn’t give it justice.
