The quality of their food has dropped significantly over the past 6-8 months. I go to school close to this location and I order from them 4-5 times a week. In addition to finding hair in my food in the past, they have reduced the portions of their meals as well. I ordered the teriyaki warm bowl and this is what I got! It look nothing like the picture they have on their website/app and has the consistency of a soup! It tastes good, but the portions are smaller compared to before and does not look like the pictures they advertise.

GM doesn’t want to work with people. Sounded upset that I wanted to spend $200 on a bagels and coffee for a team event. Needed it for early morning but said they had 2 orders already and nothing we can do. Never asked what I needed or if there wiggle room. Just said “that’s why the app said 7am and not 630am, we have orders and there’s nothing I can do. 5am is the earliest my cook can come in.” Worked in the restaurant business 10 years. I’d never turn down a $200 order for coffee and bagels. Just saying. Panera last time I try to order from your business.

Ordered 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad via doordash. order was clearly printed correctly even on the physical receipt on the bag. but what i got was 1/2 salad 1/2 random soup. clearly someone didnt even look at the order to put correct food inside the bag. of course cant reach them via phone. they cannot even fulfill the basic order correctly. never order from here esp via app.

Dining room was disgustingly dirty, beverage bar was a mess and all the floors were sticky, I left the place with my shoes sticky all the way to the parking lot. Food was great like always, so was the service…. but your better off taking it to go. Bathrooms needed a little TLC.

Double check your Togo orders. I order 3 dozen cookie boxes and when I got to my lunch meeting, I was short one box!! Ended up with people having to half cookies… I couldn’t believe it when I showed up. It was too late to go back and complain but when I tried to call Panera no one answered, I was stuck on ring and then a Hangup. No voicemail or anything.

This Panera has been making changes over the last few months to make the experience there worse and worse. They’ve blocked all the outlets that used to be available to charge devices (so if you hope to charge your phone or laptop, think again), and they’ve removed the cups from reach of the ordering tablets, meaning that even if you order and pay on the tablet, you still have to wait in line just to get a cup for a beverage (I get that they don’t want people to steal drinks, but seriously, I’m sure they were losing a maximum of $5 per day). The restaurant is often dirty, with no one seeming to clean up until late in the evenings.Overall, the restaurant is doing a great job at being completely inhospitable.

I took some driving to get here, and placed an order, and realized all of their device outlets are fake; it’s pathetic with such deceiving antics. The registered girl in the morning, even jumped the gun, more than happy to get me the refund, and sent me out on my way; telling prior incidents, there were those gotten pissed. It’s not just the refund, also the time got wasted. Could tell, “it’s your business, not mine”, written all over the staff!

It fails me as to why people patronize this establishment. Whats worse than no service....BAD service! Wrong order TWICE! Coffee not filtered, tons of grinds with your cup. This was my 2nd visit in 3 years. The first visit was just as bad, gave them a 2nd chance, and there will not be a 3rd. To be fair to Panera, it has only been at this Long Beach location.

Clean and very friendly staff! Love itThis place is new would love to take some photos also maybe aerial images. Would get more attention :-) Staff in the Kitchen Lovely like her hair color!

A simple tomato soup and grilled cheese hit the spot. Lots of seating and bright atmosphere
