Lets start with the pros: the self-order system is really helpful. However, when my order was ready, nobody called me or I couldnt see anything on the screen. I believe the screen is only for dine-in orders.I ordered a steak sandwich, but it hardly seems worth $15. I found the food to be overpriced when compared to its quality and size.None of the tables are clean .The staff was nice and helpful.

I was part of a group that went to Panera for coffee after our meeting because it was convenient and we could always find a large table. I hadn’t been back since I left the group so I thought I’d give the place a try for lunch.On the positive side, the service was great. The buzzer they gave me didn’t work when my food was ready, but an especially cheerful person came looking for me on the patio when I didn’t pick it up. The person who took my order was also very upbeat. And it was nice to see one of the workers spending lots of time spray-cleaning the tables… with a smile!Unfortunately, I can’t say anything good about the food. I ordered their Signature Take Chicken Sandwich. It’s served on a brioche roll with a few spring greens, little parmesan-flavored crisps (which I skipped), and garlic aioli. You can pick one free side dish: either a little French baguette (an odd choice with a sandwich), an apple, or a small bag of chips. The brioche roll was fresh but the chicken was completely dried out. I think it had been sitting around for a while. It was also much smaller than the picture implied.Even though the staff was excellent, the food was just ordinary. I’m not a big fan of large chain restaurants anyway, so I don’t have any compelling reason to return.

Disappointed over their service. No customization whatsoever. I asked for less sugar in my coffee drink and by the time it got from the cashier to the actual person making it, the message got lost. Also they forgot to add bread to my soup order. Its frustrating having to quality control every order. No one seems to care about their customers.Also, Panera is stuck in their outdated ways. Its 2023 and they dont have a single gluten free item on their menu.Wont be back.

Got one of their new sandwiches....the Mozzarella and pepperoni one...is was basically blah. The bread part was good. Hardly seems worth $12.00 for 2/3s of a baguette with some tasteless cheese and pepperoni. The staff was very nice and friendly but the food wasnt that great ....seems to be a new trend in fast food. Make the staff nice and friendly so maybe the customer wont complain about the below par and over priced food. Also very noticeable in the bigger food chains...just so so food with higher and higher prices...time to really support the locally owned restaurants.

The reason why I put 2 stars was because Panera restaurant was small and the menu was so confusing. It doesn’t describe the food in any way. In addition, the food is either overcooked or undercooked. And they don’t serve it as well. It is basically fast food that’s slower than fast. One time I went to LGC for breakfast and it turned out to be closed. So I ended up here. I rather go home and cook myself breakfast.

I adore Paneras pastries because they are always delicious and fresh. Its easily accessible from work and is a great place to pause for a quick bite. But everyone else thinks the same thing. Everything was great except the half salad didnt agree with me because apparently the chicken breast isnt 100% chicken and the rice starch and potato starch that is in the chicken caused me nausea and bloating. I had to throw away the other half I had it bagged up to bring home cuz I didnt want to take my chances after started to feel that way an hour after eating

The store itself is ok, although the layout is strange and it was packed when I visited on Friday afternoon around 1:30 pm. My main complaint is the lack of parking in the little mall area. It’s best to park at the hardware store lot next door and walk over.

Had my husband stop by after running errands to pick up some chicken noodle soup while I was at home and sick with a baby. I was mind blown to see the $22 group size soup consisted of 80% broth, barely enough for one serving. Horrible value for the price - I really hope no one is purchasing this expecting to feed a family. Never again.

Coping fairly well with obvious short staffing issues. One of our group did not have the sandwich bread changed as requested. Really need to keep an eye on the buzzer and pick up your food for dine in yourself. Buzzer may not go off either. Wish they had not disabled the outdoor fireplace or had heaters for outside dining. They should just give in and put up a solid covering for the patio for rain.

Let me begin with I do love Panera and every employee in this location is extremely nice and friendly! My only complaint is the quality of the ice coffee. I have been going there all summer and unfortunately it seems they water down the ice coffee to the point that it barely tastes like coffee. I visited the Campbell (Hamilton Ave) location and their ice coffee was perfect. Please reconsider your recipe. Thank you!

One of my kids favorite places for lunch. Although dining in is allowed, we still prefer take out. I like their sandwiches while my kids like their mac and cheese in a sourdough bread bowl. We also like the soups. While their smoothies are great, their other drinks are ok. The parking lot at this particular location (Los Gatos) can be an issue. While the lot by office depot is large, the lot in front of Panera Bread is small and spaces are tight. It is difficult to get in and out. I recommend parking by office depot and walking over.

This place is the worst Panera I’ve ever seen. I had to wait for my coffee almost 40 minutes and still is not ready.Update: I asked once again when it would be ready. They mentioned that the machine is broken. None informed me until I asked while they knew the customers were waiting. I recommend to go to the one in Campbell if you are looking for. They’re much better customer service.

Love Panera. Great food. Im limited what I can order because I cant eat too much dairy or wheat. and it seems menu is like 95%. so I wish theyd have more dairy free and wheat free selections, like gluten free sandwiches or pasta. Its pretty easy to do these days. Also portions seem small. Hint: just add more lettuce to salads and rice and veggies to bowls. Theres always plenty of meat.

I dont come here often because its a bit pricey in my opinion, but my Chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was fantastic. The French onion soup was good as well. Unfortunately, my wifes tomato bacon grilled cheese came out burnt and the whole thing tasted burnt. However, I asked the managers (Grant and Frank) if there was anything they could do and they brought us a new sandwich that was made perfect. Very good food and great service overall.

Tasty food with healthier options and reasonable sized portions. A nice place for a quick meal. More comfortable than a typical fast food place and baked goods that are great. Calorie count is prominently displayed for all items. Keep an eye on that count when you look at the pastries. Tasty stuff, but the real full calorie deal.

Incredibly busy. Small parking area. I called the location 3 times and no one answered the phone. I ordered online and it took an hour and 40 mins from when I placed the order to get the food, AND parts of the orders were wrong. In general the food was not prepared well either. My sandwich literally looked thrown together. If I want healthy food maybe I should stop being lazy and make it myself with higher quality and half the cost.

I love the breads at Panera, they are fresh and tasty always. Its conveniently located close to work which makes it easy to stop by for a quick bite. Employees friendly and courteous.The eating area is often quite crowded, possibly due to the number of patrons in as one-tops occupying what should be a four-top with only a soft drink or coffee hidden away behind a phone, tablet, laptop, briefcase, etc. enjoying the free hotspot connections. Parking can be a challenge, but thats never as bad as finding a spot in much of Manhattan.The food is quite good; if you dont have allergies, their broccoli cheddar soup in a mini bread loaf can be habit forming. My first experience at Panera Bread, but definitely not my last. Soup (broccoli) was awesome! Sandwich was generous with great bread, cheese and fillings. The bacon on the sandwich could have been more generous but it was neither under or over done. Figuring they buy pre-cooked bacon like most restaurants, I give them kudos for using a good supplier. Service was fast and pretty friendly and spot on accurate. I have a new place to eat while Im out and about.

Dont be fooled by their plant based menu. It has nothing to do with actual plant based vegan diet. Its just vegetarian,filled with eggs and cheese. Times are changing, Panera. There are more and more people realizing how harmful eating animal products to our health and our Planet is. I rarely go here any more. It feels very outdated. Decor and menu wise. And you can tell as you enter the place that most customers there are people who have retire long time ago. Add Vegan options on your menu. Not only rice and avocado. Sandwiches with tempeh and tofu would be nice. Actual vegetables soups, without cream. Expand your horizons. There are tons of healthy truly plant based dishes. Learn from Mendocino farms. Or you will follow Le Boulangers path .

For about three months now Ive been going into the Los Gatos Panera, conveniently located on my way to work and have asked several of the counter people for two shots of espresso. No one has a problem with this except one (very nice and very helpful) employee who, every time, says something like Okay, just let me make sure I know what you want. Our coffee drinks always take two shots, so by a two shots do you mean four shots? I have told her repeated that a shot is a shot and by two shots I mean I want two shots. Weve already been though this at least five times and she knows Im a regular, but she still keeps confusing the issue. I have since gone to two other Paneras and mentioned this and they dont understand why that employee keeps asking if by two shots I really mean four shots. Maybe a store meeting explaining what two shots means would help.This is my only complaint about any Panera. I love the food and atmosphere.

I like the concept of Panera but sadly they often fail on execution. I’ve received sandwiches that come with barely any filling and pastries that weren’t the freshest. This has happened more than once. I still eat there but stick with safe items such as soup or mac & cheese.

I was stuck in San Jose with a car problem. I had to kill two hours at Lark & Los Gatos so I walked to Panera for food & WiFi. I guess this chain is trying to make healthy food options for folks.
