I have always come here everyday, I am even a sip club member. One of the managers knows me and my family very well and are super kind. All of the workers are amazing except one, who says he is also a manager. I have never had a problem with coming in during the “no high school students hours” but today I did. I have never been treated so poorly here other than today despite not being one of those kids. I was even just here with my mother and had no issues. I am even dining in today and was told to “wait outside”. I’ve never had this issue before and have never been more disrespected and hurt at my favorite place in the world. This might sound petty but that is the only reason I’m leaving this review, I don’t even feel welcome here anymore. I bet I’m even one of there number one customers seeing as I order from here numerous times per week, literally have never had this happen before.

Panera Bread at SeaCliff Village is the perfect location for all the neighbors and for the students at the schools who are very close.It’s the perfect place for friends and family to grab coffee and their interesting drinks and meals.We really love the breakfast food and the salad and sandwiches.Our breakfast favorite is the cheese soufflé. It’s delicious and the crust is perfect. It’s best to order a few of them early in the morning.It’s a cozy, relaxing diner and our favorite place. Enjoy

While visiting the area, we stopped in for breakfast. Though weve never been to this Panera, as a frequent Panera patron, we assumed it was a good option. The restaurant was only 25% occupied, yet the staff seemed busy and distracted. After ordering, we filled our drinks and located a table to sit down. Unfortunately, several tables were open, but had not been cleaned in a while. While waiting on our order, I went to the restroom, but discovered a lock on the door requiring a code. I approached a staff member to ask for the code, but she didnt know. I then approached the manager to ask, but without even looking at me said, I cant be distracted right now, Im focused on something. A little stunned, I went to sit down. As another staff member was wondering the lobby, I asked for the code, and he was kind enough to share. The restroom needed to be cleaned and the smell was awful. It reminded me of a truck stop restroom in the middle of nowhere. This was very surprising for a Huntington Beach Panera. Our food order took some time to arrive, but was well presented and tasty. Overall, I would not recommend this Panera. Though the food was fine, the poor customer service and the lack of cleanliness in the entire building doesnt warrant my business.

Went to HB main street location & order not made, nor ready!I was told catering orders show up on different computer system that is NOT monitored on weekends. WHAT? This place needs a better manager, I wish i would’ve got his name, but the manager is a complete disaster. He talks bad to the employees, he doesn’t have any manners. I came to the store to pick up an order which was already ready and he told me it would be 10 minute wait because he was doing some!!!! What kind of service is this? I was livid after he decided to take his sweet time yo hand me my order that was sitting right next to him. I feel bad for everyone working around this person, he creates a bad environment to work around. I hope Panera Bread read this and take action because people like this shouldn’t be working in a costumer service environment. Save yourself some time and go somewhere else.

I came to this location today with my son, since tomorrow is Father’s Day and I wanted to have a quiet meal before it got too crowded.We went to an empty table and I plugged in my phone to charge since it was low. I usually order from the app and pick up at the counter.My son sat down, I was still standing and put my bag on the table. We weren’t in there 5 minutes before the manager sent a worker over to ask if I would be purchasing anything.I was already aware that we were the only people of color as soon as we walk in. I am sick and tired of having these type of experiences when we go out.I am tired of being singled out and shamed and humiliated just for who we are.This is the type of service we’ve gotten throughout Orange County, which only got worse during the pandemic and the continued recession and inflation that followed.It is a shame that Panera Bread has gone downhill and passed their loses on to consumers. It’s a travesty to pay for $40 meals and get a thimble full of soup.That is why we regularly go to Urban Plates. You actually get full plates and bowls of food, reasonable prices. And the best part is that you always are made to feel welcomed.

We lived here in HB in the past and came here on a day visit. The restaurant is gross, no maintenance, no music or ambiance, the service was terrible, then our food comes out with a black hair in my wife’s sandwich and the picture below is my sandwich that costs $12! Food was pretty good. I had the in season strawberry poppyseed chicken salad for $10.85. Not a super great value, but tasty non the less. Service was okay.I had been avoiding the place because they have a customer loyalty program thats really annoying. I never can remember to bring my card and today they did not ask if I wanted to join and save, so I paid full price.

I love Panera Bread. Went to this location and ordered a pepperoni melt. Was a huge piece of bread with a few pepperonis on bread and tons of melted cheese. I guess I thought there would be more pepperoni. Also, bread wasnt toasted well. Thought for what they charge for this sandwich, Id get more pepperoni and bread would be toasted. Maybe it was an off day. Well see how it is next time.

I was in the Huntington Beach, Main Street location, Monday, July 3rd, at 3pm and there was a youngish brown haired lady working very slowly helping a customer, I asked her if there was anyone in the back that could come up and help, she said “ yes, lots “, when asked if she could call someone to help she said, in an extremely bitter, snarky voice, “ you can wait your turn like an adult”, obviously we will never shop for anything there ever, took our business elsewhere and I advise everyone to avoid this establishment.

Update: September 17 2022.The Manager went completely nuts, seems the kids faked him out of his common sense...he barricaded a front egress and more than likely chained the back emergency exit also, as he has in the past with disregard to public safety. With inadequate egress and no emergency exit to the rear of the establishment I wound think twice about relaxing and or enjoying a lunch or breakfast. The ombiance is bizarre and almost sad. Ill take me business elsewhere.Update: July 23rd 2021 the endless Summer.So I started thinking about the chaos at Panera as last I found it so I thought Id check in today and all is quiet I see no high school kids and I see no manager hopefully the kids and the manager are doing okay. Panera is a daily stop for me they have an awesome coffee Club I think its 899 and you get free coffee all month and Im not sure I should research but theyve had a deal for 90 days of free coffee for $9.99 and I am a coffee drinker really get emotionally upset if I dont have my coffee and I cant figure out how to get it so if I have the coffee Club I usually dont have any therapy sessions that month. They have an app thats really easy to download and use out of Google Play and you can pull up order your coffee read a couple of things on your phone bounce in its on the shelf ready for you. This particular location has the restrooms open and the back door is open and they have some seating back there and you can egress Through the Alley and pop up between Chase Bank and the cleaners and thats what I usually do. And the employees are always really friendly even though I havent been such a great tipper. I saved 60 bucks this month on my morning coffee by subscribing to their coffee Club!

Just recently ordered a soup with a baguette and two turkey avocado BLT sandwiches with a double portion of bacon and it usually comes with a side of chips and we did not receive any baguette for the soup or any chips for the sandwich, and to our surprise at home the sandwiches did not have any avocado In then and the manager was the one who confirmed that everything was in the bag and gave it to me and this is not the first time this has happened.

I used to live nearby and I work nearby. I usually get excellent service and the food is always fresh and cooked properly. However, when the bleached blonde-haired employee taking his lunch break is allowed to drop the S-bomb twice and the F-bomb three times in under 30 seconds as hes speaking on the phone, while children are standing in line I cannot rate this establishment above 3 stars.

On 3/9 my account was hacked and I was charged for 3 large orders that were never picked up. I live in Illinois, and management thought the purchase was suspicious but went ahead and fulfilled it anyway without calling to check with me. I have tried to appeal with my bank but because it was a billing agreement they will not honor a refund. Over a month of fighting these charges and Im still fighting because I cannot afford $200 in food charges! Corporate was awful to deal with. Im sickened by this and the way it has been handled.

Worst Panera around. Horrible customer service and even worse management. Our orders have been consistently wrong so many times we can no longer go to this location. All the employees seem to be unhappy and the nice, happy employees that worked there over the years we have been going, never seem to last long, but the unfriendly employees seem to stay longer. This location is always hiring so it must be a management problem because the nice employees they have had do not last long. Such bad service we refuse to spend our money at the Main st location and now drive to the Beach Blvd location, which is a better run and managed location. If you want unhappy employees and horrible service, this location is for you.

Oddly my favorite morning meal is also the easiest meal to prepare. And their oatmeal is on par with how my mother would prepared it. Fluffy and rich in oatmeal flavor and smell. The sandwiches are horrible! I will never eat them from Panera again. The chicken I got on my sandwich was cold and wet and made my sandwich soggy and it was supposed to be a a hot sandwich. It was obvious that the meat was frozen and not fresh and wasnt even thawed all the way. I tried a couple others but all the same and the spices were so over powering it made me sick. I have tried the salads which were not bad and the onion soup was too salty. The cooks seem to over do the spices. Maybe trying to cover up the bad taste? I havent tried the pastries yet. There are better places to eat than Panera, dont waste your money here.

Something is wrong with the water. Water is foul tasting. I went in for ice tea for my wife and asked for a cup of water. I poured the cup of water into larger cup of ice water that I had with me from home. I took a couple of sips and the taste was horrible. I drank a couple of sips and then threw the whole thing out. I dId not feel well after. My wife was not feeling well also after drinking a little of her tea. It was thrown out as well.

There is some old hag who always yells at any kind of child who walks in. Their policy is that if you dont spend money, you cant even come inside. I walked in to find where my friend was sitting and I was actually yelled at.
