This place is good but It feels like its an healthier type of Thai food. Everything tasted good but the portions were small and I felt it needed a bit more flavor. The service was in the slow side but the waiter was helpful.

Delicious, healthy vegan Thai food options! This place serves meat also, but the couple that owns the place understand vegan needs and accommodate your requests! A big menu including some Chinese dishes as well, and almost anything can be made vegan. We had orange tofu and panang tofu curry and Thai tea with almond milk. Yum! Recommended if you are driving through the area.

The food takes a bit to come out. I did order dinner and it is freshand hot. The waitress is friendly and had heart advice for selections. For dessert the ice cream with sticky rice and mango is so good. They do need to declutter a bit. I still love it though. My new favorite place 😃

Be prepared for a long wait for your food cause theres only a man and his wife working there. Hes a cool guy, likes to crack some jokes which kept me N my people busy. Menu look like a book 📖. Anyways the food there Is healthy tasting which Is kind of a problem.. thai food Is not suppose to be too healthy, you want to know why It taste healthy ? Cause It doesnt have Msg.Papaya salad was not spicy at level 10 spice,Fried rice was ok but it was missing one thing.... MSG!Tom Yum soup is good, nice and tangy flavor, deep fried tofu was yummy and crispy, green curry was alright and thats about it..I know monosodium glutamate (msg) gets a bad rep but dont be afraid to sprinkle a little bit of It on your cooking Its not going to hurt you! Dont be scared of King Of Flavor.Still its not bad though keep It going 👍 youre awesome.
I cannot rave enough about this place! They have a wide variety of authentic Thai food. Based on the food we ordered, they were all very flavorful and delicious. Customer service was awesome. We get to chat with the son of the owners and he was great. Definitely will come back when I am in the area.
Very fresh food. Water is purified and fresh, not nasty tap water! Food came out nice and hot and the vegetables were cooked perfectly in the curry. The chicken chow main was unbelievable and the green curry was so flavorful probably due to all the fresh ingredients they use. Family owned, very friendly environment and friendly staff! This was very good, staff were oh so friendly. The cats outside were cute though their presence and their attempts to run inside the restaurant raised the eyebrow if my companion. Love this place. Adore the owners! Great quality for a mom and pop joint. They have purple rice as well as mango and sticky rice year round which is a major plus for me. I always need to stop by for it when going to the desert. Also love their papaya salad, chicken satay, and Tom yum gai soup. Everything is good actually! Whenever I bring vegetarians here they love it too.

We frequent a lot of Thai places and i have to say this is the worst ever. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. We were on our way home from the Cabazon Outlets when we decided to try this place based on yelp reviews. We were very, very disappointed to the point of disgusted. The wait was at least 30 minutes and when the food came, the first bite was bad! The soup, the curry, the garlic and pepper chicken were terrible. The one good thing was the steamed rice. Even the free fortune cookie had a weird taste like seaweed. We even had an order of pad siew to go and as soon as my son took a bite, he said it was awful. We just wasted $60 for a meal that was not worth anything. I will be dumping all the food because nobody wants to eat it! Like I said, it is soo bad! Per my husband, there is a small trampoline in the men’s room and per my daughter, there are different used bars of soap being collected for I don’t know what.This place makes me so mad! It’s so bad!

Authentic Thai food. We got the Thai Fried Rice and Pad Thai with Chicken lunch special. The fried rice was one of the best Ive ever had. The Pad Thai was good as well, however since it is authentic thai food, it isnt going to be as salty as youd think. Ingredients were very fresh as well!
This place is good for those who dont have much experience with Asian food especially Thai. I dont like the curry I bought here at all, it s probably the worst Thai curry I have ever tried. The texture, density of curry and ingredients were off for me. The most ridiculous thing is they charge more for beef, shrimp, and pork inside the meal you pick. The pad thai my friend picked was also off. There was no sour flavor in it. He had to go restroom after eating it hours later.The Overall decoration of this place is a failure, they have too many stuff inside. Confusing.Definitely not coming back.
Seafood Rice was a mix of seafood greatness! The orange chicken is their own twist which the crispy chicken crunches of every bite with amazing saucy taste to boot! Last, I got a sour chicken soup which was the only thing that hit the spot for me because I was battling the flu!
Wide variety of foods and all fresh and delicious. Im a specially please they make gluten free for me which is wonderful. I also appreciate special rice noodle dishes that Jane makes which are very healthy with fruit and vegetables. My favorite place for lunch or dinner any day of the week.
I went today spent nearly 80 dollars and ended up with not so much food and the broth of the soup was watery, steak from their crying Tiger was cold and unseasoned the chicken from the chowmein was with no flavor. Paid 17 dollars for a hot pot soup that literally had 7 shrimps. Overall was a bad experience, I recommend going for their lunch special because their food is overpriced and not worth the money I recommend you go to the Thai restaurant by papa jhons way more food and not so expensive
Absolutely delicious! I had the Pad Thai, very good and very healthy =) My Boyfriend had the Green Curry and loved it! Were from Orange County, but will definitely come back whenever were in the area. A new must have on the way to San Jacinto and Palm Springs. Thanks Papaya Bay for a most excellent dinner =)
Fine Thai dining with an authentic Thai ambience and good food. We tried Pineapple friend rice and Drunken noodles - both were good. Friendly staff.Would try more dishes the next time..
We paid $55 for 2 ala carte orders of Orange Chicken and 2 orders of beef fried rice. The food was made to order and was piping hot when we got it. However, the Orange Chicken portions were very small. Definitely wont be coming back do to the cost.

We had the orange chicken and the cashew chicken, both were exquisit! The owners were also very accomidating and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our food. If youre in the area and youre hungry you should definitely check out Papaya Bay. :-) The atmosphere is top notch, complete with ornamental table cloths, decorative place mats and fresh flowers at every table.
I love papaya bay, the only choosing I have is that the level of spicy-ness is really inconsistent. My go to is the Thai fried rice and green curry. Ingredients are always fresh and the owners are friendly and accommodating. I recommend to anyone looking to get their Thai fix!!

If you like great, fresh, authentic Thai food, this is the best place to go for it. It can get expensive for a full dinner for four persons (including drinks), but it is SOOOO worth it. My favorite is the Orange Chicken (enough for two meals), but even when I venture out and try new things on the menu (Im a VERY picky eater), I am never disappointed. They will make dishes as spicy (or non-spicy) as you wish. Everything is cooked to order. For something special, order a hot pot soup, you wont be sorry, theyre all great. By the way, the seafood soup is fantastic - mussels, scallops, fish, & shrimp in a ginger broth!
This restaurant is a joke, if you call it restaurant, probably most of the reviews were made by their relative.i entered in to the restaurant around 2:45, it makes a lout chimes sound when you open the door, it means someone should come to the front, but no one came i stayed there for few minutes no one came, so i start to cal some one.i was seated around 2:50 the man give me a menu, i tolled him i like to have a fresh spring roll as appetizer( reading the reviews i thought it must be good)5 minutes later he came to get the order, i was ready, so i placed the order ( chicken curry) few minutes later a security guy came in placed on order for to go, i am still sitting there nothing is coming, 10 more minutes another comes in and ordered for to go, i am sitting there nothing come for me, 10 more minutes a girl came in and ordered for to go, they all waited.i watched the two guys got their order and left, 10 more minutes the guy come out with a to go order for the girl and a small bowl of rice on my table.i look at him and said, excuse me i was here before everybody els, sitting here for 35 minutes on my break and now you just bring me a small cup of rice, he seemed not caring at all, he just said sorry, sorry, thats it.the restaurant looks dirty and very uncomfortable.i never ever even will think about going there

My husband and I were visiting Banning and happened to visit here craving some good Thai food and it was Wonderful! The food was hot and delicious, Pad Thai for me and Crying Tiger for him, cream cheese rangoon for appetizer. The rangoon were the best Ive ever had and I have tried variations across the US, the sauce that came with it was delicious, a slight sweet taste paired nicely with the cream cheese and green onion filling. The sauces were all homemade and complex, with a depth of flavor unexpected in the very interesting surroundings (the atmosphere really reminds you of some little place in Thailand-not elegant but homey and ecclectic). The food was served on very modern plates and serving dishes, once again a surprise- the owner served us and took our order and the chef (his wife perhaps), came out and asked us about our food. GREAT EXPERIENCE!! Would choose this over the Thai house because of the homey and real world feel-not a corporate establishment.

If theres a choice for(-) negative review this place would get (-10) the worse place to eat. I order BBQ chicken it was rotten, the beef red curry soup has about 5 very small pieces of meat in it and it also taste rotten. The papaya salad-som tum was not really som tum taste more like papaya with vinegar. The sticky rice was microwaved not fresh. My son order the ginger fish and the fish was very small and dried loaded with sour vegetable. My nephews order pad thai and it was terrible, the tofu was way too soggy; spent tax/tips $112 for the worse food ever. the foods were literally left untouched the server asked if we want to go boxes. We all say NO.
This place is by far the best Thai food for a 100 miles in any direction. My wife and I have tried them all, from LA, Hollywood, Palmdale down to the Southbay an OC too. This place offer the slowest service ever. We came in first, yet we were served after two parties that came after us. There were only 5 parties total, yet we had to wait for 30+minutes to get 3 dishes. Once the food came out, my friends and I was super disappointed. This is the first time, that I ordered papaya salad and there were more carrots, green beans, and cabbage than there were papaya. After another eternity, we got our beef pad see ew and pad kee mao, both of which were disgusting! The pad see ew was super sweet and used a bunch of broccoli and Napa cabbage and very little bokchoy. Lastly, we ate the pad kee mao and it cemented my disappointed in stone. It smelled fishy and was straight up salty. In addition, they added romaine salad, which tasted weird when cooked. Honestly, wished that I didnt wasted my daily calories allowance on this place. Heed my advice, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

The inside of this place was clean as well as nicely decorated with various artifacts and decorations. The menus were lovely, well-constructed and detailed with good pictures and food descriptions. We ordered Chicken Sauté, Green Curry, and Drunken Noodles. Our food came shortly. The food was fresh and delicious. Their food is different from other Thai Restaurants which will give people more like a “Homemade Thai food” vibe. The price was reasonable. The owner of this place was so nice, humble, and friendly. Overall, this is a cozy, old school Thai place.

The owners were so sweet and very helpful with recommendations. We loved everything we got. I always get Tom Yum soup and this was the best Ive had. The Pad Thai was also very good. You can designate your spice level 1-10. Moderately priced but worth it for the quantity and quality of food.

2023-10-03 20:24:18I think this place has gone down, sadly the restaurant appearance when you walk in there is a clutter of household items everywhere where it seems like you could trip(a one person trampoline) I’m thinking it is a trip hazard or fire hazard at this point. My food was missing so much the flavor and the appearance. My pad Thai tasted like it was cooked on a Burnt or charred pot, no peanuts and no flavor, it was missing so much I wasn’t even offered spice level or the spice rack. I could have gotten a better meal at jack in the box honestly, the gentleman who serves was very sweet but I must say I’m disappointed .

The beef was dry and chewy and the sauce was overly tangy and sour/smoky.👎The purple brown rice was (ok) although rather see steamed jasmine rice on the menu. If I return I will prepare myself for a lengthy meal and will try the curry.

2017-02-20 21:27:53A wonderful mound of fresh and perfectly cooked veggies accompanied my chicken. Healthy and friendly. It was a great roadside mom and pop stop with attentive and friendly service. Its definitely homey.

2023-08-08 18:49:09The interior seems more like a store than a restaurant, the AC was broken when I went. Can’t complain about the food, it didn’t seem like there was much staff just one guy that helped us throughout the course of our meal. There were a lot of pick up orders but no one else came in to eat.
