2023-11-10 21:55:30I was looking for something healthier and this popped up. It was highly recommended and I decided to stop by.I ordered their salad bowl with chicken and beef. I got the traditional citrus sauce with fried crispy onions and garlic. Overall it was delicious, a very light but filling meal for lunch. Now their lychee lemonade is also amazing and I highly recommend that drink.Parking is limited to street or paid structure parking.UpdateI had their spring rolls with no noodles, shrimp, chicken and pork. All three were delicious and the peanut sauce made the lunch complete. I’d definitely get that again.

2023-09-24 18:20:08I found out about this spot from Secret Los Angeles yesterday morning and visited later that evening since I had to go to Pasadena. It was so fresh and tasty. I ordered spring rolls—1 pork belly, 2 shrimp. I selected spicy and savory peanut sauces. I didn’t like the sauces. The spring rolls are good without. It was like eating a handheld salad. I will definitely go back!

2023-08-20 22:03:17The spring rolls and banh mi hit the spot! There are a lot of choices for customization from fillings, toppings, vegetables, and sauces. It’s a fast, convenient setup so waits aren’t bad despite long during lunch rush. I appreciate that Paper Rice introduces good fast yet modern and approachable Vietnamese food in Pasadena.

2023-05-28 04:39:08Food is pretty good, I love there selection of sauce! Service was kinda slow though, and price to portion ratio is kind on the upper side of thing. Parking kinda sucks, but that’s generally Pasadena. Overall a good chipotle style Vietnamese food that requires few extra bucks.

2022-07-10 02:35:25Best spring rolls I’ve ever tasted. I tried one of each protein. All six were delicious. The sticky rice patties were really crispy and sticky- was getting stuck to my teeth. I want to come back again and try their items in the menu.It is a small place with very few seating. The parking garage next to it is an $8 flat rate fee.Loved the friendliness of the staff.

2023-09-25 00:30:48This place surprised me. I expected to like it but I loved it. Yummy rolls that are made to order choosing your ingredients. Only things holding it back: service was disinterested (which is fine, it’s just a job) but the beef was a bit spicy and we didn’t see that on the menu. Lovely flavor but my partner doesn’t like spicy so we had to swap rolls.

2023-03-18 22:05:41Very tasty little spot to grab a snack or lunch. Definitely busy and for good reason. We had the Banh Mi and the rice cakes. Both of which were very tasty though I cant vouch for authenticity. Also their lychee lemonade was 💣. Overall really enjoyed the food and would definitely come back if I was in the area more often.

2023-03-29 23:22:55I’ve been coming here for the past two years, and they always have the bestspring rolls ever. Line can be long, but worth it every time. I love the concept of choosing everything that goes inside and their sauces are so good. Pro tip: go on weekends and grab the Xôi Chiên (Fried sticky rice w/shrimp and beef). They are my favorite!

2023-01-03 20:17:32This is a great way to start the year eating healthy. I had the Spring Roll Bowl with lettuce only (noodles and rice were also choices), chicken and shrimp for the protein, and picked other good add-ins that made a satisfying lunch. I bought a bottle of Yuzu sparkling water (unsweetened) and was good to go.

2023-11-01 17:40:11Fresh, excellent, consistent. Lots of veggies, well cooked and seasoned proteins. House sauce and peanut sauce are my go-to’s. You get one sauce and the others are a little extra. The line can get long, but this is always so good.
