(REVIEW by someone who didn’t book this hotel for the casino area) the hotel is much nicer inside, don’t be fooled by its building appearance. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, and the rooms are very clean.With that said, the food service was horrible. I ordered food through their app and received notification that my food was done. When I went downstairs however, there was no food in sight at the pickup station. I went to the female servers and both just pointed me to the pickup station and wait there. None of them noticed my food was already done and sitting there. I even gave my name, and they didn’t even bother checking. Fast forward one hour later, one of the male staff approached me and I told him my name and he came out apologizing and gave me my food which was cold. He offered to remake it but I waited way too long to even wait for another. Forgot to ask for his name, super nice guy! The girls though, need to train more because I’m not sure how you can miss a pizza box and a plastic bag sitting there for an hour alone. It didn’t help that I watched two other staff got their food first from the pick up station…

Beautiful rooms, hotel and casino. Very convenient location outside downtown. Easy and free valet parking included and a very low nightly resort fee ($10-15). I will definitely be staying here again.

The rooms made ya think you werent at the bike. Service was great throughout the trip. The 2 star rating was after checking out I forgot several items. Contacted the hotel and was told I would be expecting an email containing my records from my 8 night stay along with a link to recover my property. Never received the email called back twice and was shrugged off to please call back and speak with the manager who never seems to be working.

The Bike is a good place to play poker. The staff is very friendly, and they offer lots of different types of poker and Asian games. I like that they give a $4/hour credit to poker players so you can eat for free after a few hours of play.They started asking for ID at the fort recently, which I don’t like, but at least they are nice about it, and they don’t hassle you about bringing in a beverage from outside unlike the gardens casino which treats you like a criminal.I used to play at the gardens and the bike, but the bike is so much more player-friendly, that I now play only at the bike.I now consider the bike the best and only good place for poker in LA. My advise is to avoid the Gardens casino, and go to the bike.

Yall can try to block my original review all you want but ill repost it. Im going to be fair and give a reasonable assessment. They only get 3 stars based on location, Valet, and the restaurant. what they suck on is Housekeeping. I stayed 8 days and house keeping only came around 1.5 times. I say half because they didnt make the beds all they did was leave a bag with amenities and a stupid note saying they couldnt provide room service that day. Yea 8 days and 1.5 time of Housekeeping it got to the point i had to call the front desk for toilet paper because House-keeping was null and void. Honestly yall dont deserve 80 worth a resort fee. Yall should cut that price down to 40. Ill gladly acknowledge valet was on point. But dont charge me for Housekeeping in which i only received once. Their excuse they were short staffed ok cool well short pay yall selves for that half behind service and you wouldnt get this type of review. Also its been 5 days i have not received my deposit back yet. It better show up next week or else this rating will be going down lower and i will advise others dont waste their money.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. The location was great. The hotel itself is a gem. Beautiful bar area. Free valet parking. Outdoor pool that was very nice although I was surprised that it closed at 6 pm. Gorgeous and spacious rooms with a great view. The shower was amazing. I will definitely return on my next visit.

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the casino recently. One of the dealers was shockingly disrespectful towards me. To address this issue, I reached out to a supervisor for assistance, but to my dismay, it seemed like the dealer had their complete support, which was deeply disappointing.In a place where customers come to have an enjoyable time, such behavior is completely unacceptable. I strongly urge the casino management to take immediate action to rectify this situation and ensure that all patrons are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service from this establishment, and I hope they will take this feedback seriously to improve the overall experience for everyone.

We had a very bad experience at this Casino. Not sure if its discrimination. We had come back to the hotel after spending first night there and room was not cleaned so we just kind of blew it off. We then decided since no room service that we needed at least some wash cloths. They sent some to our room except they were small towels, also I still thanked the person and figured we will call downstairs again and order wash cloths. This time the same person brings us washcloths but one is torn and they are all dirty and not folded when he hands them to me. I went downstairs to front desk and spoke with manager and her response was I’m sorry the person who took the wash cloths to you is autistic. I immediately let her know I have a Grandson who is autistic. Then she looked at me a little more concerned and then says she will take off the $10 dollar fee a night they charge additional I believe for something to do with parking. I told her its not the money its the principal. They then handed me two bags with clean towels. I felt insulted for my Grandson because of her reason and discriminated against for that incident

I used to love the Bike but I dont know if Ill ever be back now. Since the new ownership the Good Idea Fairy really screwed this place up. First of all, poker is not a table game. You cant run it like three card, blackjack, UTH, etc. This ridiculous progressive jackpot sucker bet flop game does not belong anywhere on a poker table. It takes money off the table on top of the rake. Take 2/3 NL for example. Imagine 9 players at $1 per hand (or 8 if you are smartly abstaining) at 30 hands per hour thats almost a full buy-in ($240-$270) coming off the table and in the casinos pocket. Thats an extra $30 per player every hour that isnt going into pots or winning players stacks and the players end up leaving the game faster. Good luck beating that extra rake! If you wanna play a flop game let the players play the red/black game but keep your mitts off of it! Clearly whoever is running this place doesnt understand poker and thinks its an asian /table game. I asked if there were any tables that didnt have that silly game and there arent. Dont even get me started on checking in to get on the list. Dude sits high up on a ramp with a walkway and insists that instead of approaching the podium you go down the stairs, walk behind two blackjack tables (that shouldnt even be in the room) and then talk to him from down below. Also going through airport style security just to get in and having to scan my ID is a no go. Im not 100% on this but I think they disarmed the security since putting in the metal detectors which is even more stupid. Relocating the poker room to the complete opposite end of the casino from the tournament room makes zero sense. I didnt even stay in the hotel this time but im guessing somehow they ruined that too. If build back better was a casino...

The room is clean and the space is big enough. The hotel is very new. The downstairs is **** and there are many Chinese. Supermarkets and fast food restaurants are all around. The location is at the high-speed exit, which is convenient for travel. The parking fee is not expensive, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

The size and quality of the rooms here are phenomenal for the price. Food and service at the brewery were really good and it was right around corner from elevator, so super convenient. In the morning, was able to walk downstairs and get coffee and breakfast from the cafe and that was a pleasant experience as well. Everything here was fantastic and a great value, will absolutely be coming back!!

Nice casino. I liked it a lot. Card games only. No bust blackjack, baccarat, pai gow and poker games. Jokers are wild on Pai Gow. I got quads 3 times in an hour, quit shortly after. Commission is a dollar each hand win or lose, any bet.

I normally play UTH (Ultimate Texas Holdem) and since they have been bought out they ended up changing the machines from the poker table machines where the cards were random to the covered machine by shuffle master where the cards give you a pre-dealt hand. When I tell you that the entire game changed and you no longer see the flops that you use too. With that updated shuffle master machine, its usually the same person at the table hitting all the hands and they are only betting $5 to $10 dollars, while the players betting $100 or more continue to lose. When the table asked the pit boss why for the change, the pit boss told everyone that both machines were random. However, if both machines were random, then why change. In addition, the girls would cut the cards which also helped with the cards being random. Speaking with pit bosses at other casinos (I travel alot), they have demonstrated that the machine can read and put the cards in order after being shuffled by the new covered shuffler master machine in less than a minute. So is it really the same? nope.In addition, the customers were notified that the other tables were upset that the girls at UTH was making more money. Were making more money than the other dealers. Well everyone is forgetting, the other table game dealers, especially the guys have nasty attitudes. They dont say hello, no personality, and not friendly at all. So why would someone want to tip them when they have a bad attitude??? In addition, the girls dressed nice and it gave a different and classy feel to the casino. Since the casino has changed out the girl dealers and are now using that pre-fixed shuffle master to deal cards, this casino is just like any other casino without the awards that vegas can give you. Your best bet is to buy a cheap plane ticket and go to vegas where you will have a better time playing pre-dealt cards with that new shuffle master machine and get massive rewards. The california casinos dont get enough business to offer free rooms and trips when building points. So this the bicycle casino turned into a typical casino like everyone else, you can go play at commerce or hustler casino and get the same experience. A dull experience without any of the class that it use to have after being purchased by this new owner. If you think I am dropping $10-20K (sometimes more) a night to play at a casino with a weaker experience, I rather just fly to vegas to play the table slots because that is what you are playing now. Including dealing with the other dealers with attitudes. Not worth it. Have fun.

I come to played cards almost everyday. I loved playing blackjack here. No collection and no busted. The dealers are nice and players were great. I also played paigow tiles. The area is spacious and big TV to watch sports. The reason I gave 4 stars because there was a casino host name Jessica. All she does is shoeshine players and argue with players. There is no needs of her on floor. We had floor persons already. I am going stopping coming here due to her. Toxic environment at tile section because of her.

Front desk did not want to accept my identification for my stay that was reserved online. My drives license does not have my middle initial, however both my debit card and credit card do, and that was an issue. Mind you I have been traveling as an entertainer for the last 15 years and NEVER had this issue. Asked for a manager and was told I was speaking to one and there was nothing I could do further, and that although I travel frequently this is the first time I GOT CAUGHT. Honestly feel this was due to my appearance, tattoos, young, and latino. This left me hotel less in an area im not familiar with with no other option but to find another place to stay.

Stayed here over the weekend with my family of 4 while visiting Universal Studios (20mins) and some family. Check-in was easy. Valet is included in the resort fee ($10) and self parking is a short walk. Room was super clean. Bed/pillows were mid firm which is good for back and side sleepers. Hotel staff and security are very nice and informative. The table games are packed with ppl but easy to get a spot. Love the location because it is close to downtown and ktown for good food. I will stay here again the next time I visit, but will bring more cash. Recommend.

Loved my room and the staff is amazing. If you wake up early just go downstairs and get your food, dont use the app (trust me). At least until they get room service back up and running. I definitely recommend this hotel, everything right there, you really dont have to leave. The food and drinks at the restaurants are amazing and priced reasonably. If you want to shop theres a great shopping center right across the street. Ill be back :)

We did not come for the casino but stayed at the hotel. Room and bathroom were spacious, nice and clean. Staff was professional and gave good information about hotel policy. Made the best out of not having having microwave in the room.The valet service is a nice perk to have when you stay as a guest. If you so choose, you have the option of parking in the casino lot and catching their shuttle to the front (they always catch you mid step if you try simply walking and offer a ride). Overall, a great experience.

I love going to the restaurant, the nacho fries are amazing. My waitress was great she attended us so greatly, I think her name was Sarah. But as I was paying attention I feel like everyone was treating her badly for no reason. She was doing her job fine, doing what she was suppose to be doing but the treatment she was getting by the people working there was not great at all. I would have given it 5 stars because my family loves coming here to eat the appetizers but that did not sit right for me on how they treat their workers. It may have looked like she was new to the job but if she was then maybe they shouldn’t be giving her a hard time. Sarah was an amazing waitress and I hope I get to see her soon.

Love the room, specifically the bathroom with the waterfall showerhead and regular showerhead. The king bed was a plus as well. Enjoyed good food at the Bike Brewery also. Complimentary valet was included in our stay. Only negative was no slot machines but that isnt why we chose this hotel so not a deal breaker for us.

Well done new poor management!I’m keeping this simple because it’s my 2nd complains.I’ve been told by casino’s management that they are going to pay me the damage of my car which happened in their parking. I provided them the damage cost invoice from Toyota dealer “which they asked for the quote” and after waiting and following it up for last 2 weeks, all of the sudden they changed their mind and don’t want to pay. Very irresponsible and careless management. I don’t know why even from the first point they told me “we will take care of it” and we shook hands.It’s not a nice way to treat people and humanity. They are expert of ignoring and disrespecting customers…. Well done!!!

Great place I played the wsop here. They ran short of dealers on this occasion yet I believe it was because of the covid, and other casinos are getting all the dealers to work for them. Over all great experience. I love the bar they have there. I have yet to get a room here but I havent heard any complaints from the players Ive met that have stayed there. Over all the tournament was well ran. Maybe thats because I actually made it to the money is the reason I got no complaints. Lol. Poker up!

Pros:This hotel was a pleasant place to stay. It was very clean and employees were friendly and attentive. Our room was comfy and bathroom was very clean and had a nice fancy look. One awesome amenity they offer is valet is included with resort fee. It was great to park in the front entrance, got vehicle valet, and no worries. Picking up the vehicle was super easy with the online request option they offer. Just click a button and vehicle is waiting by the time you step out. Their restaurant was DELICIOUS And prices were reasonable.Cons: Our shower water handle was very tricky to get warm water. We had to move it by centimeters to get warm water instead of cold or super hot. Also, Ima “silver” expedia member and they didnt honor our 20% discount. They said all they could do was 15%. Not a big difference but i make decisions on were to stay because of perks like that.

Stood for a weekend getaway. No complaints. The hotel was very quiet, not too many guests, clean and spacious. Front desk allowed us an early check in (thank god). We had just got off a terrible 7 hour flight! The hotel is also located in a convenient spot with a few other stores surrounding it. Didnt really see that much elsewhere.

I wish they had more swag. Hotel registration is on the right. Valet was attentive and staff at the front desk was really friendly. Its like going to a 4+ star Vegas establishment but in LA. The room we stayed in had two queen beds. It was very well kept and sheets were crisp. I liked the standard pillows were not overly poofy. Shower was clean and water flow was above average. Would highly recommend and will come back to stay and play. Staff at the poker rooms was friendly and so were the local grinders.

This was a king sized bed. Didnt feel like it to me. Its was a fine stay. Lots of smoking people outside(parents with little children) its good for 3 ppl in one room. But if you have more kida definitely need more space. Personally we dont care for the gambling part so it was just the room we needed. Lots of shopping and food places near it for your convenience.

My bf and I came here for 2 nights before our cruise.ROOMWe got the basic suite and were surprised to see that there was no wall between the sleep and living area. Plus, there was super loud party going on below. We went to the front desk and the very nice guy gave us a complimentary upgrade. (Thanks, dude!) The new suite was huge. We loved the room but it was not pristinely clean. There were weird stains on the couch and pillows, and hair in the bathroom. An annoying thing was that the “Do Not Disturb” sign fell off the handle every time we opened the door.FOODWe had low expectations of the food based on the reviews. Yep, food was bad. It’s redeeming quality was that it was cheap.When we called for room service the receiver was not knowledgeable. She didn’t know the menu. She also couldn’t tell me all the fees but hinted that it added up to more than $10 for a $10 dish.AMENITIESThe gym is huge and has decent equipment. Except this experience ruined the weekend for me. Their large exercise balls are made of very cheap, sleek material. I didn’t like it but didn’t think it was a safety issue. Then the sleek ball slipped out from under me and I landed hard on my tailbone. It was more intense because I was holding weights. I nearly passed out — I’m not kidding!! I’ve worked out with exercise balls hundreds of times and that’s never happened to me. Now my butt is severely bruised!The business center’s printer ran out of ink and they didn’t have any in stock to replace it.They also couldn’t mail my cards.The spa is lackluster. The quiet room had aggressively bright overhead lights. It had fruit that didn’t look washed. And they had STYROFOAM cups for water and tea!! I got the bicycle signature massage, which is supposed to be a blend of various massage types. But it felt all over the place and was not memorable.SERVICEThe best service was from the front desk guy when we checked in. He was fantastic!Everyone else seemed clueless. One morning I went to the welcome area to ask a question, and two staff members were talking and oblivious to my presence. I had to talk to someone else.TL;DRA card room trying to be a casino / hotel. Decent setup and cheap. Lacks details.

We booked a suite room for my buddy since he was getting married. A bunch of buddies just hanging out. The room was very nice, new, spacious, and modern. Felt like a different space compared to the playing area downstairs.If you like to play cards, the hotel is a cool place to stay. If you won big downstairs, maybe consider getting yourself a suite room to enjoy.The food was also very good at the restaurant, and the servers were very friendly.

We then had dinner at the brewery inside the hotel. The food was really good and reasonably priced. The protions were also huge and definitely shareable. I’ve been going to the Bicycle Casino for over 30 years and one thing that hasn’t changed is the teams that come in and raise for each other. They speak languages other than English during the hand, blatantly defying the rules and the dealers say nothing, they don’t enforce the house rules at all. Even when a player says English only during the hand the teams ignore you and the dealers say nothing. Hawaiian Gardens is a better casino because the dealers enforce the rules and there are more players, so the tables are filled up more, the more players the bigger the pot. Plus the Bicycle stopped serving food and drinks are hard to get.

This is a high-quality hotel. They upgraded me to a suite on my first stay (a weeknight). The room was large, clean and comfortable with separate sleeping and living areas. The bathroom was large and had a shower and separate tub. The shower included a handheld shower head, which is automatically a bonus star for me for any hotel. Room service was good and reasonably priced surprisingly, with $6-$7 desserts. Valet parking is free for guests. They did leave my car uncovered at night though, but oh well.

Great casino with great tournaments, however mylast visit was not pleasant, I was playing the Saturday tournament, it got so hot inside, it was not just me, a lot of players felt the same thing. We complained to the staff and they tried to solve it by opening some doors, it seems that they tried to talk to some body but without much success.I hope that the management will be able to fix the mechanical system and solve this issue in the future.Players must have a comfortable environment whenplaying. Poker is hard by itself and no need foradditional discomfort.

Great hotel that doesn’t allow bikes on the property, how ironic! Being an amateur cyclist, I booked this hotel from the name and nice pictures. Perfectly located about 18 miles from Long Beach that you can cycle straight to on a beautifully flat cycle path. Unfortunately the homeless rate is high and especially along that path/trail, so recommend group and not solo! Great bar/restaurant, but don’t play cards to gamble; so never made use of the casino! Group cycle tour? It has almost been a year since I stayed here. The hotel is very close to the freeway so very convenient and not too far from Hollywood.You would never know the freeway is next to you as there is no freeway noise.The rooms were immaculate and the decoration was beautiful. Playing $2/$3 NLH at the Bicycle is the worst casino experience Ive ever had. First, I waited on a long line to even be able to get into the poker room, not to play, just to put my name on the Waitlist. After waiting for 2h and 15min, I was seated. There were two players at my table speaking foreign language constantly (I am European myself), and were showing each other their cards. A few players at the table complained about it, and the floor did not do a thing. The management of this casino is so unprofessional, I cannot believe the way they handled the situation. After waiting for about ten minutes without being greeted or seated I waved to initiate some acknowledgement that we were in fact standing there. So I have never had the opportunity to stay in a room at the actual hotel, although I hear its amazing...so I cant tell you anything about that.What I CAN tell you about is the casino, the restaurant, the on-site Starbucks, and the property itself! First of all, this card room is medium sized, great for baccarat and poker players, okay for people who prefer UTH, 3 card poker and blackjack. To my knowledge, collection is on all games EXCEPT baccarat. The strongest selling point of this card room, in my personal opinion, is the outdoor gaming area where you ARE ALLOWED to smoke/vape while you play. As far as I know, this is the only place in the immediate vicinity that has a smoking area for players. And I love that they have double-deck, hand shuffled blackjack with a minimum UNDER $25.Restaurant has live music on the weekends, and its always been surprisingly great music. You may expect the live music from a bar/restaurant in a smaller card room to be mediocre. Your assumptions would be blown out of the water. Trust me. Whoever books their live music should be given a raise. Just saying.On-site Starbucks: not a fan, since it doesnt even show up in the Starbucks App. That leads me to question whether its an ACTUAL Starbucks...As for everything else, Security is friendly but alert. Bathrooms are more than adequate. Parking is awkward, and feels dangerous at night because of the low-lighting. And Valet will set you back $10, last time I checked.

The hotel and casino management should look into this matter and have it addressed to there staff and needs improvement especially when they charge us $5 for valet parking when it’s free to park it yourself and FYI they would get way better tips if they just hustled. Especially when it is busy they move like turtles 🐢. For as long as I wait to collect my vehicle I will be parking it by myself from now on to avoid the headaches.

I was given a room with hundreds of ants. I tried to change rooms, but the woman at the front desk said they were all booked up. They were even in the bed!! A man came up and sprayed for bugs, but I still felt like I had bugs crawling on me for the four nights I stayed there. For 200 a night I didn’t expect a bug infested room. I would never stay here again after seeing how hey handled this situation.

This is a real lousey & shady casino in my opinion. Most of the 3rd party banked games they offer is baccarat. Ive done some research and found out that the drop on baccarat tables is about 5 to 1 compared to other table games such as blackjack. What this means is that it takes about 5 blackjack tables to generate the same amount of revenue as one baccarat table. This also, means that the odds are about 5 to 1 against the player when the player switches from blackjack to baccarat play. Is this casino trying to gouge or fleece the general public? I visited the hotel and casino to try the restaurant because I heard the food was good and the prices reasonable. The valet was quick to check us in when we arrived. My girlfriend and I went to the restaurant and were seated immediately. There was music in the dining area, both live and recorded. For dinner, we ordered minestrone soup, fajitas, and gargonzola filet minon. Complimentary chips and drinks were quickly served. The food however was anot her story. I was told the minestrone was not available and to try their chili bean soup instead. I was offered a sample but did not order the chili beans as I was craving a soup. We waited at least 25 minutes for our entres. The food was great. Everything was cooked well. The portions were great and overall I did not spend as much as I normally do for such meals. I was told in the past service was faster here and the food was good for a great deal. For whatever reason though this Wednesday night the food took a long time to be served. Overall though everything else was good and I will probably return again.

The bike is a really nice Casino. It seems like they recently redid Hotel it has been a while since I had been there. The parking lot is a gigantic and well lit. They have security patrolling so you feel pretty safe. The floorplan layout of the casino is pretty open so it feels like a relatively big casino for its actual size and their are alot restrooms wgich may not seem like a big deal but it is. For those who dont drink when they gamble they serves seattles best coffee which is strong anf tasty. They have a decent selection of games and it seems like they have alot of private rooms for vip or high roller games. I was there for a private room at the event center which was awesome and would not hesitate to return.

The last time Ive walked into this casino was about 10 years ago. Let me tell you that adding the hotel is a huge PLUS however, it doesnt seem to match with the rest of the casino floor. Im not really the Gambler type but to me, the casino floor seams quite organized and chaotic at times. I was in the casino, playing the Late Nite Madness Tournament on Saturday 02/08/20. As many of you know the rules are; after the first break registration is closed. 15 mins after registration was closed we have gone through many hands and of course ants have gone around. Ants happen after the end of registration where you have to pay every hand to pay. Anyway, a NEW Player comes in to play. He isn’t from a new table he just bought in. Which is against the rules and he needed on twice which you can only do before break and/or at the end of break. Remember it’s 15 mins passed the end of the break which is the end of the registration. I speak to the tournament floor manger “which her and the new guy seem to be friends”. She tells me he was in a cash game and gave her the money before registration was closed. Which if that was true it doesn’t matter because when you buy in you don’t get to wait on the sidelines for however long. You have to sit down and let your chips bleed blinds and/or ants, which did not happen. She replied, saying he hasn’t played a hand so he can do that and would talk over me every time I would ask or try to explain that this was against the rules. Unfortunately, I was in a tournament and no other management was around. Plus, my blinds and ants were bleeding as I was talking to the floor manager about the unfair situation. Overall, it wasn’t right and she shouldn’t be able to let people in after the break. I hope the bicycle management will be more on top of it next time. I have stayed here more than a handful of times in the past 16-18 months give or take. Since I my first stay they have started to charge a resort fee. Not sure why was not appeased about when I realized it on my last bill. They said it was for the valet (that I dont use because I Uber everywhere) when another resort a few miles away has free parking, internet and an indoor poor with hot tub that you can use year round AND free breakfast at the other resort as well.Not to mention the service at the bike brewery is AWFUL. I had to wait for my food over 30 mins once at the bar. The female bar tender was very unwelcome and got the order wrong. I had to speak with the manager.Not to mention all the other times the service has been fairly slow in general. No table checks and you see your server an average of every 8-10 mins even when putting in your drink order.

How can a Casino like this one even stay open? They seem to blame everything on the construction and why they are so bad but that is just a sorry excuse. They have the worst restaurant, waiting time is horrible and the food is made with no love, no flavor and over charged. They mistreat the workers, specially the servers and the front desk. The security manager Ryan ruined what could have been a great night at this casino. Ryan the security manager targeted my boyfriend to be removed from the casino for wearing a tank top. Though we had already had dinner, drinks, and had been playing games for 3 hours.He aggressively argued that we had to leave because my boyfriend was wearing and tank top. Though, get this, I was wearing a sleeveless. Apparently my sleeveless tank top in the high bet VIP room was ok, but my boyfriend playing the less expensive tables was not.When Ryan was told in front of us by multiple employees and the customer service manger Marvin that he was in fact wrong, and we were indeed allowed to stay, he refused to acknowledge his mistake. When we attempted to talk to him, he repeatedly cut us off, would not let us speak and spoke down to us.His anger showed through the way he spoke to us and treated us.Bicycle hotel and casino must remove this bigot from employment and especially from a position of authority.All I can say is thank goodness this man Ryan is not a police officer and unable to carry a gun. He is an angry white cis gender man that uses his position to target people.I encourage Bicycle hotel and casino to contact us to right the wrong that their head of security created. Bicycle hotel should be ashamed to employee a person like Ryan.

During a recent stay (January 2016) I was discriminated against, harassed, antagonized, confronted, & bullied by hotel staff all be because of something i cannot control...something no one can control...the color of my skin. I spoke with managers, supervisors and was told in no uncertain terms this is just protocol. That even though people who look like were paying the exact same amount to stay as everyone else there they would be persecuted. I had security footage pulled to support my claims and was offered a refund for one nights stay. When will the fight end. When is enough enough we are people too. If not be ready to be harassed by security endlessly confronted, and have your door knocked on at 2:00 am by assistant managers who want you to know your people dont have to stay here. Have your rental car lost by valet, & have security not only check your room key,but your name, room number, 3rd grade teacher, & job attendance before they let you on the elevator. You are treated like a prisoner here. The dealers have bruises on their faces covered by makeup (awkward). I only occasionally smoke e cigs therefore having to pay 300$ for something I totally did not do was ridiclous not to mention caused a huge fight between my fiance and I it was in bad taste that they charged that money... My girlfriend and I have been playing at The Bike for about five years. Typically 2-3 times a month for 4-8 hour sessions, but sometimes as much as 20-40 hours in week (flexible work schedule). We primarily playing the 2/3, and $5 NL games, and tournaments. Another reviewer has cut-and-pasted the same rant twice, plus a third negative review thats obviously from the same guy. I havent experienced anything thats he complains about. Sounds to me like someone who had a run of bad luck (or just cant play), and hes directing his anger at the house rather than the leak in his own play.Games- pretty much everything, with action running round the clock (been there as late as 4am and as early as 9am). At the 2/3 NL games, theres typically 3-10 tables running round the clock, and its rare to wait more than 30 minute for a seat. Action at the $1 tables is typical donkfest. At the 2/3 and up, its pretty solid play,with enough donks to keep it moving. Ive never seen a dealer refuse to scramble the deck, but I was told the house recently implemented a new setup on even hours only rule (some people were abusing setups to take a smoke break every hour). Fine by me - Im there to play poker, not wait on shuffles.Tournaments- I think The Bikes tournaments have the least turbo-y structure around. If youre open mid-day, they do a daily Nooner for 30+10, that typically draws 120-150 people, with a $2k guarantee. Wednesday-Sunday evenings, theres a 5pm tournament with $20-50 buy-ins and a $5-10k guarantees. Then theres the a big series pretty much every other month - WPT, WSOP, etc.Staff- Ive never had an issue with the dealers or floor managers in the cash games. The tournaments are often used as auditions for new dealers, and from time to time youll get a weak dealer in a tourney.Facilities -- Clean and secure. Unlike Commerce or Hawaiian Gardens, my girlfriend has never felt uncomfortable leaving by herself late at night. The main room is comfortable, with tables well spaced (to me, Commerces poker room feels like a warehouse, and the tables at Hawaiian are packed like sardines). The room is well lit without being glaringly bright, tables are comfortable and stable, chairs on the upper deck (2/3+ games) are comfortable executive desk chairs - chairs on the main floor and tourney hall are standard convention hall seating. Food at the tables is very good and reasonably priced (free at the 2/3+ games).For enjoyable, solid poker, the 2/3 tables at The Bike are my game of choice. Commerce is juicier, but I just dont like sitting in that cavernous hall.
