We were in the area during lunch hour on Saturday and wanted a Chinese food. We were seated immediately and the service was pretty quick since the restaurant wasnt too busy.- Chicken with salted fish fried rice: the portion was generous regarding the price. Hubby asked for more salted fish and they did deliver. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. There were plenty of chicken & salted fish pieces.- Sweet & sour chicken: the chicken had crispy coating and it was juicy. The sweet & sour sauce was tossed perfectly to coat each pieces. I wish that they gave more veggie as it was only couple pieces of green pepper & pineapple.Overall, a good & affordable Chinese restaurant.

After a daunting, yet necessary trip to Sacramento for a few days, we ended our experience here.We were hoping to get to Hop Sing tucked in Old Folsom.. Been going there since I was 5, worth it, yet the traffic and time.. We just didnt have that. Better half found the Pearl House reviews, bonus it was near where we were staying.I wasnt paying much attention until I saw our location and then my brain kicked in. I remember this place.Sure enough, theyve been there over 40 years. A strip mall hole in the wall with great food.Loved the large fish tank, felt like 1978 inside. Super friendly people.We ordered Mushu Pork, Chicken Chow Mein and a Sizzling Meat Platter.Out come those ample players with piled high steamy goodness, just as it should be. We filled our bellies and then packed a box for my mom. It was a great ending to this life chapter.If you like good food at todays decent prices, served abundantly and cooked right, good place for eat in or ordered.Next time we will try the Egg Fu Young and Sweet n Sour chicken.I think we dropped $40 and we still have leftovers

Last night was my first time ordering an actual plate/entree from here. If you need a quick lunch then this is def a good place to go! All of their meals come with steamed rice on the side, if you get an entree it comes in a chow mein box!

The owners are so sweet and always seem happy you are there. Happy to help and always cheerfully willing to make substitutions and changes. Food is always very good. My favorite Chinese restaurant for miles. We have been coming here for 32 years. Have tried other places, but always come back here.

At Pearl House, we enjoyed their General Chicken and Mongolian Beef dinner plates, accompanied by wonton soup. It’s reliably good Chinese food that won’t break the bank. Generous portions with great flavor, all for under $15 per person.

Looks like your standard old school Chinese food place but that is what you want when you want chinese¡ food was so good. The seasme chicken and the house fried rice were amazing. Go here ! Broccoli beef super juicy and good too

Went for lunch today with a friend.We were greeted and seated right away. The staff was very kind and very helpful. The staff took our order.We had the lunch combo. You can choose between wonton soup or hot and sour. I had the hot and sour. It was perfect. So good. My friend enjoyed the wonton soup.For the combo you can choose all rice...all noodles or half and half. Thats what we ordered.He ordered king poa chicken and really liked it. The brown sauce very good. Egg roll delicious.I ordered the general chicken. Very crispy just how I like it. It was a little sweeter than I like...but not a deal breaker. I would order it again.Very good food.

This place has been my go to Chinese restaurant ever since I gave them a shot. They are incredible people, incredible food, some dishes I havent found at other restaurants like the singapore chow, absolutely amazing. I love the general in the red sauce, sesame in the brown sauce, I go there with my friends, my mom, etc. Youll love it.

Pearl House is great! They’re really sweet people and they always aim to please. Comfort food at its best! Good value!
