I wanted to like Pearl River, I really did.We had seen a spot on Pearl River on Best of the Bay a couple of years ago and the food looked good. When we recently moved to Morgan Hill we decided to give them a shot on a Saturday night. When we walked in the place was empty, (probably not a good sign). But we looked at the menu and the people at the register were very helpful. The wife and I ended up getting the dinner for 2. I like that each person can get their own individual items, (soup, appetizer, entree) instead of having to split everything. Very cool. I had the orange beef. Unfortunately the food wasnt very good. The beef was springy and not very crispy.Overall the food was about at the quality level of buffet food. Doubt Id come back here again.

This not an egg roll, it sure doesnt look like the ones in their pictures. The sweet and sour pork had no flavor. Everything else was okay. Panda Express has better food for cheaper!

Do not order the egg rolls. I dont consider taking a frozen eggroll, dipping it in tempura battery, and deep frying it edible.The food is hit or miss. Mongolian beef is not recognizeable. Many of the other dishes like lo mein style chow mein are good. I have ordered more than 3 times for lunch and maybe this time Ill remember how bad the egg rolls are.

We eat at Pearl River a few times a month, always take out. They have great food and it always ready quickly. We special order every time and they always get our order exactly right. They are also friendly. If you want quick, great tasting food, this is the place.

This is our go-to place for Chinese takeout. A pretty small eat-in area so more for take-out/delivery. Noodles are very tasty especially the singapore style curry. We also love their wor won ton soup.

Great options for vegans and vegetarians alike! I have been getting their kung pao tofu and it is amazing, just the right heat with cashews and all sorts of veggies. They have an affordable menu as well! Come check them out and support a local buisness!

I first encountered Pearl River in south San Jose, at the sister location, and this Morgan Hill location serves the same excellent quality in a more understated spot. Its one of the best takeout options in town. Im a regular for many years.

When my vegan Mother orders vegetarian egg rolls on Mothers Day I expect it to be chicken free. AND who pours oyster sauce on beef and broccoli? Gross!! It was even on the Tofu Chow Mein, which was the other vegan dish she wanted. NOT COOL.

Sorry to give this it was not what I expected. However I should.have known by seeing only 1 person there at lunch time . I ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice. What I got was a Mongolian salad with beef pieces. More vegatables than beef for sure maybe a different style im assuming looked better than it was and fried wonton with cheeseinit????didntwork for.me.

The Chinese food here is better than any other option in Morgan Hill. We get a lot of vegetarian options. The vege egg rolls are huge and fulfilling!
