I placed an order online for pick up. Food wasnt hot at pick up. One item was missing. Why do you have items on your website if theyre not available in the restaurant. Waitress offered to refund. When walking out, I asked, then she reminded manager to refund. Waited again for receipt. Still not posted on my card. Next day I had diarrhea with this food. Good, clean location, poor management, poor food quality. Green hair waitress was polite. Not going here again.

Update: The owner replied to my review and asked me to contact their customer service to make it up. I contacted them a few days and still havent received a response. Im taking a star off for my wasted time.Original review:Check your takeout order before you leave. I almost always get the sesame chicken and today was no exception. I ordered online and picked up my order. When I went back to my office, I saw there was no sesame on my chicken. The sauce smelled like it was mixed with something pickled and it was hard to eat. I was hungry and there was no time to go back so I ate a little and threw away the rest. This location used to be pretty good, but I cant recommend them anymore.

This is my first time coming here it went great! So first the staff member that talked to me was extremely helpful I asked a few questions related to the menu and she tried her best to help me out so good customer service. Next the prices sort of threw me off since they were on the higher side of what I had expected but I am conflicted because the price was a bit high but then when I tasted the food it was amazing but in a Panda Express sort of establishment and food is in plastic bowls I think if there were to put the food on plates it would be nicer. Last the spicy levels on the menu kind of confused me since I got the spicy drunken noodles and I almost didn’t get it because I expected it to be really spicy witch it wasn’t and I’m glad because it’s amazing. I would suggest lowering the price a bit or maybe investing more into the ambience of the restaurant but overall would recommend!

I really like the food here. I’m here for the first time and the assistance was great. I did went with spicy general tso’s and korean spicy. Between two korean spicy 🌶 is a bit hot than spicy generals. Chicken with greens and prawns with noodles are great. Overall a good experience. Good job PEI WEI 😍

Food is better quality than you get from Panda Express but the menu is a bit more confusing and the taste is better at panda express in my opinion. One bad point is that the outdoor is dirty I ended up bringing a wipe from my car and cleaning the table myself and it was super dirty (photo added)

Always go to pei wei, bang for your buck but today did it for me i asked for a kids meal no rice and they only put 5 nuggets of orange chicken and filled the to go container to the brim with rice. So hungry had to eat some of the tice. To top it off ordered chicken and broccoli the broccoli was still raw and only gave me 5 pieces of chicken. Not sure if ill return.

It was okay. Hubby had a bowl of Mongolian beef which was good but they put large cuts of green onion, I assume it was just for color but why not chop them up a bit more so that a person can eat them? Might ask for that next time. My kung pao shrimp was good but very salty and the rice was dried out a bit. Next time Ill ask for the sauce on the side; loved the snap peas! The staff was very nice and helpful. We ate outside which was pleasant but they could use a couple more umbrellas.

My husband and I just went to pei wei today for early dinner because we haven’t eat lunch yet. I can’t believe the worse testing food we had. Way too salty with lots fish sauce taste. We ordered 3 kind and all of them tasted horrible. We supposed to take the pad Thai with us but we decided to leave all of them. My husband ate the kong PAO because he was starving. I wish I could take our money back but we decided to never go back. What a waste of money and time! Yuck!!!

Used to LOVE Pei Wei Pre Pandemic. Their steak kung pao was crispy and delicious, wontons were the best. Wontons are the worst now! Little pathetic papery looking things. We could only eat one…yuck. Kung pao is slimy and lacking veggies. The last 5 times we have been here have been so disappointing. Can’t say I’ll be back again. They didn’t even give us plates or forks, food now served on a plastic dish. We aren’t dogs.

I enjoyed it. I ate here with my buddy Steve Jarrard while we were in town doing some work. We ate here twice as it was close and very tasty. They should open some of these in Atlanta. Also, I was the only person in Orange County with an awesome beard. Everyone kept trying to pet it and it was weird but I accommodated them as I am a man of culture and understand that some of the indigenous peoples have different ways they accept outsiders.

There were so many people in line waiting for orders, people coming back in with missed items or wrong items, upset and disappointed customers. Clearly whoever manages this store is incompetent beyond compare.

Absolutely terrific! I am generally not a fast food fan but what a treat this was. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. The chow mein is full of vegetables and you can add protein. Got the kung pao chicken, with fried rice. There seemed to be more batter on the chicken than I remember from previous visits, and the sauce was sweeter. The fried rice was bland, I tried to liven it up with some sriracha sauce but it was still a disappointment. The snap peas and carrots in the dish were fresh and tasty.The guy with devil horn tattoos on his head wasnt there, so the initial impression of the service was better than previous visits. Staff was pleasant and well dressed.They used to have the really cool soda machine here, but now its a much older style fountain. Not sure why they decided to downgrade the soda offerings, but it makes visits feel less special.

Came to eat here with my boss and his wife for late lunch and had their pad thai with chicken. It was good and had good flavor and quality ingredients. Their go to meal was the shrimp and Korean beef. Definitely a must try.Staff was very efficient and helped us with our order right away.

The Food Manage tdd was great! Super delicious food! I got a shrimp noodle bowl and the shrimp was so crunchy! The sauce was good, noodles good, and the serving size was great! The amount of food you get for the price is really great. Staff was really friendly and our food came out quickly. Would recommend because theres options for everyone whether you eat meat, are gluten free or even vegan.

We wish we had Pei Wei in northern California. Whenever we visit southern California, we make sure we stop by and get something to eat at one of the Pei Wei locations. We like that they have brown rice available as an option. And so far, with all the different varieties we have ordered, we have liked them. There are plenty of options to choose from, deliciously prepared.

What a great eating experience today! Food was amazing and staff was so nice and down to earth. When ordering, Alexandra was kind enough to ask if they could do tofu instead of chicken for my lettuce wraps. Jason went above and beyond to make lettuce wraps with tofu for me just like I wanted.They were absolutely delicious!! Flavor was perfect! Paying a little extra was TOTALLY worth it! Most of the bowls are fairly high in calories (~1400 or more with rice) but very tasty.Tough place if youre watching your diet though there are a couple of bowl choices you can make with an upgrade to cauliflower rice (extra $1.49) that can get you under 1000 calories..... or have one of the lower calorie salad choices.

So I tried Pei Wei because I havent been there in a long time. I was surprised that the menu was streamlined like chipotle. I got the Thai Style beef on white rice. The dish was very good. I had to add 2 packets of soy sauce to get the saltiness I wanted. I appreciate low salt cooking because Id rather add then have something to salty to enjoy. Overall I really enjoyed my food. I dont care for Panda Express at all so now I will go to Pei Wei and be happy with the food.

This place is not what it used to be! The chicken was tough and in some cases not even edible. The teriyaki sauce was very bland, not flavorful at all. The food came in plastic containers rather than the ceramic dishes they used to use. The utensils were plastic. The ambience is like a fast food place.The COVID-19 delta variant is on the rise and surging in orange county at this time. The manager of this restaurant, Richard, was not wearing a mask and was serving food. When asked, he said “I don’t have to wear a mask” in a very sarcastic manner. This used to be one of our go to places, but we’re done with it.

Went there for lunch today. I remember back when this place was comparable to P.F. Changs. My whole life I’ve ordered Mongolian chicken from here, it’s always been my favorite. There aren’t many PeiWei’s by me anymore, and today I found out why, it’s been quite a few years since I’ve had it, and so Saying I was excited to take my much anticipated 1st bite was an understatement…let me stop beating around the bush here, it was bad, really really bad. In fact I stopped eating it a quarter of the way through and just went hungry. My chicken was rubber and over cooked but I think the reason for that was the chicken was bad, it tasted rancid, I’m still burping up the awful flavor. I don’t think I’ll be hungry for dinner tonight because of this place. Goodbye PeiWei you’ve changed.

This is my second time eating here and is the only Pei Wei I have been to. I have been unimpressed both times. Today I ordered the Spicy Korean noodle bowl with tofu. I know Chinese food isaccording to ones particular taste. This one is suitable to mine. This is a fast-casual restaurant that started the trend, and I like the fact that you can go in and order it and the food will be brought to your table relatively quickly. My favorite is the honey seared shrimp, and my wife almost always gets the Chinese chicken salad.

Driving through The District in Tustin we would give Pei Wei one more try. We used to really like it, but a couple years ago the quality of the food and menu suddenly took a turn, so we just stopped going. Tonight my family of 5 walked in for dinner around 8:30 pm, which is fairly close to closing time, but the staff were very friendly, and patient as I asked a lot of questions about their updated menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see they added several items, including a build your own bento box, which both of my kids ordered. You choose your protein, type of rice, greens, small appetizer and 4 piece sushi. The protein portions for the bento box are not large enough for an individual who likes to eat hearty, but it was enough food for my 11 and 13 year old, and they liked being able to customize it.They also have small plate options and daily specials offering a specific menu item at a reduced price,. On Wednesdays through their app, you can also get a mystery promotion. It was Wednesday, so decided to down load the app and I received a free bowl worth $10, which was amazing. Im not entirely sure, but it may have a been a first time app download promotion to receive the bowl.I decided to get the teriyaki chicken, which I used to always get, but this time I wanted to try the cauliflower rice. The amount of chicken vs vegetables was generous and I was definitely satisfied. One of my previous frustrations with Pei Wei were the portion sizes vs the pricing. When I ordered a chicken bowl and received 5 pieces of chicken, or 5 shrimp, it was a bit frustrating. This time however, there was plenty of chicken in the chicken bowl for this mama. Long story short, it looks like Pei Wei has changed my opinion and the family will definitely go back soon.

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Then it got sold to some investor group in New York. And the tear down of Pei Wei begun by getting rid of the Blazing Noodles, then they got rid of the Spicy Korean, then they started making the portions smaller and charged the same as they used to charge for the larger portions, then they started charging extra to get rice noodles instead of rice, then they took away the napkins and replaced them with cheap ones, then removed the best items from the menu as they were not profitable and they needed to reduce the amount of ingredients they use to increase shareholder return and reduce expenses. Then they stopped having chopsticks and soy sauce on the table and you had to get up and get it yourself. Then they stopped having oranges with the lemons that you could squeeze in your water, and it is just progressively getting worse. I used to rate this place five stars, but honestly I am being generous with three.

Decent Asian rice and noodle place. It’s not the best ever, but if you have a craving this place will satisfy it. The menu isn’t that large, although the prices are pretty average.I got the king pao with noodles and tofu and veggies. The veggies are carrot, broccoli, and snappeas. The tofu is firm. There was a good amount of the tofu and veggies compare for the noodles, and the sauce is on the thinner side. It had good flavor, but could be a little salty for some.

Poor service, by the cashier, long wait, I think they were short handed.Mens bathroom disaster, paper towel on the floor. Hard to describe what was I eating last week, the quality definitely changed compared to couple years ago and felt like eating at Pick Up Stix.Food was salty and greasy. Sure, it looks great on my photos, LOL. Kung pao chicken was some sort of twice-cooked chicken the new beef with noodle dish was extremely salty.This is my first time dine in/eating out. Not sure if this is during/after pandemic, they are serving with some sort of small plastic container/plate. No more paper placemate or china, nothing to wipe down the table before you sit down.I understand the cost went up. You did raise the price and cut the portion, thats fine.
