2023-12-07 19:47:42We came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday and we were glad we chose this spot. The interior is very nice and well-designed. They have a very extensive menu, which can accommodate anyone’s taste, and we really appreciated them having the Peking duck, which was delicious. The waiters are a bit detached. Overall, we enjoyed our visit.

2023-09-01 17:08:12We have been coming to Peking Dragon for 20 years and I am finally getting around to writing a review. Every single one of my experiences at this Chinese restaurant have been 5 star. This was a birthday celebration for my daughter and she wanted Peking Dragon. With the reservation for 7 we were seated immediately. We ordered drinks, enjoyed the atmosphere in our private dining room, and a little later we ordered food. We started with sizzling rice soup. And our main course included Mandarin Shrimp (our family favorite), Garlic Fried Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Mu-Shu Chicken. At the end of the meal Kevin and team surprised us with Macha Ice Cream served with a candle and a smoky platter. So Cool! Our daughter was all smiles as we embarrassed her with pitchy and out-of-tune singing. What a great night at Peking Dragon!

2023-03-09 23:43:23We enjoyed lunch here. Im gluten free and they accommodated me. The service was excellent. I enjoyed the Szechuan Beef. The lunch deal comes with egg roll and soup. They sang happy birthday and brought ice cream for a guest in our group.

2022-09-02 18:16:30Finally, Chinese food on West Coast thats pretty close to East coast style. It was a picture of an egg roll posted by a reviewer that compelled me to drive 35 min in opposite direction from where I was headed. The egg roll size and external texture were close, the filling lacked the spices but had cabbage, shrimp and crumpled pork. Served with hot mustard and duck sauce. A win in my book! Also had a glass Japanese plum wine. My entree was kung pao chicken. It was properly prepared. Every ingredient was diced and in relative size. Except the peanuts, of course. The aroma hit me first. I just breathed in the aroma for a moment before my first bite. No disappointment here. The decor was original late 80s booths and backing in pastel and muted colors like teal and dusty rose. But well cared for and clean!Very attentative, mature servers. This is OLD school comfort American Chinese food - restaurant. Lots of food to take away too. A happy diner i am.Note: the menu is geared toward shareable dishes. Eg., egg rolls were 4 for 13.00. But the allowed me a half order.

2023-09-27 22:52:57I enjoyed this chinese since long time ago. Recently this place changed ownership and also changed food service and food quantity. Not many waiters are untrained and terrible behavior and they only look like expecting tip more. If Increasing price also food quality should have upgrade. But never the same as before. Food qualities going down, only tipping expectation look showing more. Uncomfortable now and cheap waiters attitude. They need should upgrade everything like foods quality and also treats customer Services and if they want grow businese well long in dana point like gorgeous rich town. I also decide not to go here any more. Main reason was their food is so bad taste. Better go in Irvine town is much better foods and better services and more professional manners. So feeling good.~

2023-09-28 10:21:09Food was fantastic. Service not so. To go and asked for plates and eating utensils. Gave two paper plates that were no more than paper towels. After spending over 60.00 for food, the least they can do is provide paper plates to eat on. Will never take out again. Fyi....we were from out of town and staying in a motel

2023-09-10 03:50:39After spending over 60+ dollars and another 18+ dollar tip for a take out order, we asked for some paper plates and forks. We just got into town and staying in a motel.......the paper plates were 2 and couldnt even hold toast. For the money we spent, the least they could offer is some flipping decent paper plates for customers who need them. Very disappointed

2022-11-10 01:51:44This place is about average. The booths were aged and dirty. The food was average Chinese food. The service was good. Not a bad experience but I wont return. I did enjoy the eggrolls. But that was the highlight.
