2023-11-12 17:39:42I always start at 5 starts then go down.A group of 7 of came in to dine in after yoga. You can come to the counter and order at the kiosk to go or to have food dropped to your table. We sat down and got served at our table. A bit confusing but you can indeed get table service. My first deduction comes from the massive amount of food our server let us order. We all did half orders of various flavors of chicken, rice, and some apps/sides.When our food started dropping - it was very clear from the two orders that dropped first that we had WAY too much food. Now - of course we can take it home but we all live in different places, but this was not a take out order where the server didnt know how many people were eating. But with a group of 7 (perhaps 4 or more not sure) there is an auto gratuity, and perhaps the bigger the bill the better for her, our server. As a former server, I would have let the table know maybe dont get these 3-4 orders, but when it drops we can always order more if you needShe let us order probably 2.5x the amount we could eat it was kind of insane. The next issue I had was mostly the garlic chicken. We got half boneless order and half bone in order.Volume of food aside, the wings are CAKED in these sauces. I felt like I was squeezing whatever sauce they used straight into my mouth. Now maybe you like that - but many of us were scraping off the sauces before biting into the wings.I worked at Horse and Cow on Guam and Bremerton am decently aware of how most wings Are tossed and prepped. The garlic (and spicy) were just too potent and thick a sauce to be done so.The soy was the best, as the sauce isnt as thick to linger onThe original/no sauce was also good. For the spicy or garlic, perhaps req sauce on the side vs tossed. Might be cheaper to do regular chicken, and sides of sauces to also try them all if you have less people.I love spicy food, but only one friend could really enjoy the spice level of their spicy. Another thing I wish the server mentioned. Most of that was wastes, or the plan was to strip the chicken of the sauce then toaster oven the massive amount of leftovers. This is a nice location and my room mates enjoy going to Ippudo in the area but the experience you get from the businesses in the area dont really match the vibe you get when hanging out outside. The businesses are just - order, drop food, pay check. No real personality from the employees or management - which is fine but a bit unfortunate. The space felt clean and the tv was just a constant b roll of baking videos. Idk if there is any real atmosphere or personality in this business lol.For what it was - I give it a 3/5. A 5/5 would have been if the server guided us in the food volume, explained how spicy that spice level was, and if the garlic and spicy chicken were properly tossed in sauce and not doused in sauce.I didnt expect the server to have amazing service because the business suffers from an identity crisis of - is this fast food or is this sit down service? So that part of my experience is neutral. Food took forever to drop. But refills were done timely enough for me not to die - which is always nice.Hope this helps your experience.

2023-12-01 01:12:11I was hopeful for this spot but the fries and fried chicken (variety of flavors) didn’t hit the spot. Service, atmosphere, and location was fine but I don’t think I’d go back.

2023-12-06 14:21:53Came in for the Honkai Star Rail collab meal. Lady running the front was extremely kind and helpful, food was also delicious. I ordered the meal with the Soy sauce. I recommend whatever the cheese balls were, I’d come back just for that.

2023-01-31 09:31:30Hands down the best Korean fried chicken place in Bay Area. Crispy Garlic Ban Ban Chicken is the best option you can pick. Order it with some spicy sauce and eat it with original fried chicken. I know it’s definitely pricey but trust me, it’s 100% worth it. Their Ttokbokki is also really delicious and authentic with the perfect combination of flavors. It could be too spicy for some people though. I will come back again whenever I feel craving for Korean Fried Chicken.

2022-05-17 07:27:59Not bad but not super amazing either. I like the garlic sauce the most. Next time Ill probably get drums and flats instead of half chicken since I tend to like those pieces more. Also tried the crispy plain, crispy cheesling, and original soy. They were also not bad. Fries were pretty mid, I wish they were not as cold.

2022-06-12 08:50:07Original signature sauced chicken (half) and crispy fried chicken (half) + Peli fried potatoes (cheese powder on top).Chicken was well fried and juicy. I can tell they use good, fresh ingredients. Taste itself was also good - not too greasy/salty.Only thing was the original signature sauce - for me it was too much of garlic and i wish the sauce could have deeper taste/flavor. I was looking for Korean yangnyum chicken so bad in US. Well this place is so far the closest i can find near bay area.

2023-02-02 19:27:28I got the Original Fried Chicken Wings with original sauce. The wings were good, as the sauce is delicious, the outer fried skin crispy, and the wings were quite large. Nine was a lot, and while I was able to pack it all away, I could have easily taken multiple as left overs for a snack later. However, I was disappointed with the service as it felt like it took forever and that I was ignored most of the time.

2022-04-21 01:20:49Was in the area and decided to try this place when I saw it was finally open. No line on a weekday afternoon. I got the original fried chicken, bone-in, with garlic sauce. At the counter, there is a sign saying the estimated wait time would be about ~25 minutes because everything is fried fresh to order, but I think I got mine in less than 20 minutes. They provide gloves so you dont have to get your hands dirty.Chicken was good, slightly crunchy on the outside even with the sauce, juicy inside. But the garlic sauce was too spicy imo. Im not a fan of spicy food, so the level of spiciness was a bit of an unpleasant surprise. I could only eat 2 pieces before I had to stop because I was sweating like crazy and both my mouth and lips were almost numb. If youre a fan of spicy though, this is good for you 👍Ill probably come and try the soy sauce next time if Im in the area again, but I wouldnt drive all the way over here for it.

2023-07-20 01:14:15There are two styles of chicken here; regular fried and crispy fried. You can choose wings or whole chicken, and then select from 4 sauces ranging from mild to 3 flames. There are also sides, such as sweet cheese fries and onion rings. Sadly theres no beer served here.Orders are either half sized (9 wings) or full (18 wings), and theres only one sauce for each order, regardless of size, though you can also order sauce on the side. The sauces are full of flavor with the heat sneaking up on you after the initial bite. we only tried the lower two levels and level two was hot enough for us! Chicken is remarkably tender and juicy and pieces are good sized.Plastic gloves are provided as well as a roll of paper towels and a bone bin.Service is sufficient for this sort of place.Definitely worth a try, though their limited beverage selection may favor to-go.
