Came for the Pizza Tower meme, stayed for the fantastic food and great service!We went on a Friday night. It was busy but they were moving people right through. We were served promptly and given some very good free bread to snack on. Some of it had pizza sauce and cheese on it too, oo! I had Meat Ravioli with a side of Minestrone, my husband had a big pepperoni pizza. Everything was out of this world! Our server checked up on us plenty despite the full restaurant.All in all, food that is absolutely worth climbing a menacing tower and pile driving a sentient pizza person for 👌

Wow! Amazing food! Great service too! The patio atmosphere was very comfortable.I had the Half and Half which comes with spaghetti and your choice of meat or cheese ravioli or cheese tortellini. I ordered the cheese tortellini, with meat sauce. I enjoyed it very much. The sauce is fantastic!My brother had the Lina rolls, which he raved about.We ordered a personal cheese pizza for my brothers two hungry kids, and they scarfed it down.We will be back to Peppinos Pizzeria.

Saturday lunch bout 1,not crowded. Bread before meal mighty tasty, especially with balsamic and oil. We had the Sicilian square pizza. Tasty crust toasted on the edges. Bell pepper was very good prepped ahead of time not just thrown on.Ask for Sabrina guaranteed smile, thanks girl.

Used to love the food. Within the last year or more the quality is lacking. Yesterday ordered a small pie. Asked 3x if the slices were regular size. Was assured that they were.They were not and the pizza was nothing to rave about.I really am sorry to write this horrible review. But its my experience and sad to see what was really good food become less than average.

Very disappointed. Ordered a soup and pasta. Ordered minestrone soup was cold w two potatoes and a piece broccoli. Was not really minestrone soup like it’s been in the past. Also I basically got a bowl of pasta. Service was friendly but felt like I spent money on something that was nowhere near a yummy meal sorry to say.

I can give only 2 stars to our dining experience there. We had Peppinos before, maybe a year ago, and everything was good but tonight by walking in, we got the sense thats is not the same restaurant anymore! The Google map shows they close at 9 so we arrive there right before 8 and they were in the middle of closing the restaurant but they let us sit and order! Then they start cleaning exactly around our table. Our waiter was a nice man who got our order and brought food quickly. The whole time we were listening to loud Mexican music in an Italian restaurant and I dont mind but I was expecting to hear Italian music instead! The food was decent.We liked the food but we dont go back there and do not recommend it to anyone anymore unfortunately.

Shout out to the owner for taking all bs about pizza tower (in case the owner doesn’t know, pizza tower is a steam game, and in the game, Peppino (the main character/the person you play as) owns a pizza restaurant called Peppino’s pizza (you can probably see people connecting the dots) and so people see “Peppino’s pizza” and think its a reference to the game) but anyways this place seems like a really good place to eat! I probably going to try it soon! (If the owner sees this, im curious, are you aware of Pizza tower?)

Always a favorite. What it lacks in fancy ambiance it makes up for with tasty, authentic Italian meals. The green side salad is almost a meal in itself and the soup seasoned just right. My wife had the Chicken Parmigiano, served large enough for a take-home second meal. Pricing isnt cheap but you dont get the real thing without paying fairly.

One of our favorite Italian Restaurants. Family owned and it shows. The customer service is old school, they are courteous and very attentive like a good restaurant should be. The food is fantastic, my favorite is the Chicken Parm. I love the sauce they use and it is always hot and tasty. We are regulars and come here every chance we get. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant.

The customer service was as great as the food. Had the chicken parmesanna. Salad was delicious and pasta cooked perfectly as was of course the chicken. The bread was also great because they mix seasoned with plain bread. The service was just excellent. Always being attentive to drinks or if you need anything else. I think this will be our go to spot for Italian.

Went to lake forest site on Rockford but found it closed. This was our favorite site of all the previous locations for the best Italian food. Searched internet and found Aliso Viejo site as only location in operation since covid 19 struck.Still the best Italian food as original site.Could use a good floor cleaning on exterior patio.Service was excellent, very attentive.Missing is deep-fried Calamari.

Delicious food, great service. Just wish they did not use chicken stock in their already perfect dishes. TELL YOUR SERVER YOU ARE VEGETARIAN & she will make sure you are not poisoned by any chicken or meat. Gnocchi was outstanding (without chicken stock) & my guy loved the meat lasagna & the perfect iced tea. We went in for lunch and still had leftovers. Lol Just wonderful place overall. I usually love this place but it was uncool today. I got the lunch special which is $10. Today it was $14. The server asked me if I wanted a salad with my pizza. A salad normally comes with the special so I said, Sure. Caesar. House. Whatever. So she gave me a Caesar salad and failed to tell me theres a $3 upcharge. Not only was the food well priced and amazing, but the customer service was absolutely excellent. I drove all the way back to work during lunch and realized my wallet had fallen out of my vehicle in the parking lot. I called them to see if I had left it on the table, and without hesitation the woman working at the front name Deja took it upon herself to go check the parking lot for me! Luckily she found it with everything still inside, and refused to accept an extra tip for helping me out.Aside from the humble and excellent staff, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to dine in the Aliso area.Thank you again Deja!

I would have given this place a 5 star rating had it not been for their terrible customer service, not by the general employees but the management of all people. We ordered over $70 worth of food including an $8 order of breadsticks. The ladies inside were sweet, fast and got me out the door quickly, but the breadsticks were left on the table. We called when we arrived home and spoke with someone who said they would refund us for half of the order and blamed me for leaving the breadsticks on the table. At the time of the pickup, I walked in and told them I was picking up, the food was conveniently placed in a large bag that was placed on the counter next to where I was paying. I payed for the food and the server moved the food to another table just behind me. I finished paying, grabbed the bag and walked out the door. There was nothing underneath the bag or I would have noticed it, but they stated that the bread was “in a box under the bag”. As I said before, I ordered over $70 worth of food and it was not a light bag. The bread would have been crushed had it been under the bag, and I’m not blind. When we called we were blamed for the missing breadsticks and eventually transferred to a manager who stated she had put the food in the bag and handed the box and bag to our server to be handed to us. Somewhere between there, the transfer to the counter, then the transfer to the table, the breadsticks went missing. This is where it gets interesting. Normal level headed people would assume, I ordered breadsticks, I did not receive breadsticks, I should get my money back. Normal level headed managers should think, they ordered breadsticks, they did not get breadsticks, I should give them a refund for said breadsticks. When the manager got to the phone and answered, I was calm and explained that I was the person who ordered the magic disappearing breadsticks to which her reply was “The breadsticks were on the table under the bag.”. Having worked in customer service before I assumed she would follow it up with a solution or an apology or something other than the equivalent of “it’s your fault.”, But I was wrong. I said “you don’t have to lie to me lady, I’m not blind.” And she followed up with telling me how she was not at fault, so it must have been my fault, not even taking into consideration the multiple place changes of the bag and box after her handing it off and definitely not considering the fact THAT IT WAS $8 FOR FOOD I NEVER RECEIVED. We eventually got to a point where she said “I’m not going to argue with you about this, it was only $8.” As if to dismiss my complaint as trivial, yet it took 20 minutes of arguing to give me back the money. When called again and asked for the owners name and number, the manager stated “I’m busy” but eventually gave it to us. I’m honestly flabbergasted that they would hire someone so unprofessional to be a manager.

We mostly order takeout and the food is really good and the portions are quite large. It is a little pricey but it seems like quality Italian food often is. Only complaint is that sometimes they forget to include everything in the to go orders (sometimes missing salad dressing, sometimes the entire salad, etc.). Try the Lena Rolls, Sausage Ferrenzano (sp?), and Fettuccine Alfredo!

Ive been going here for as long as I can remember and eat here between 1 and 2 times per month. The food is really quite good - a little expensive for pasta but their sauces are very good. Pizza and calzones are very good but dont substitute toppings or add too many extras because the literally charge you for EVERYTHING. When Im hungry and on a budget Ill grab a couple meatballs and garlic bread and for under 10 bucks youve got your protein and carbs to keep you going.

This is one of the BEST AUTHENTIC Italian restaurants in southern OC! Ive been going to all of their locations since they opened their first location in Lake Forest over 30 years ago. Their food is fantastic and is as good as the authentic Italian food on the east coast where Im originally from. If you want quality authentic Italian, this is one of the finest restaurants in south OC to get it. I love the Lina Rolls and the Stromboli for a quick bite or for dinner. My favorite sit down meals are their Tortellini Superiore!!! or their eggplant parmigiana or their Puttanesca pasta. Their minestrone soup is so good that I sometimes just go in to get soup only. Meatballs are tasty too. I only wish that their prices had not gone up, because my income hasnt really gone up...if it had, Id visit them much more often like I used to. Would have given then 0 stars but that is not possible. Was excited to try this place and it seemed busy, was seated at a table and then nothing. A bus boy dropped off rolls but not one server approached my table. The server in the are serving other tables ignored me and served the tabke right behind me as soon as those patrons sat down. They got drinks immediately and placed a food order and still no service at my table. Can tell you if the food was good as I never placed an order. After 20 minutes of waiting I got up, told the hostess of the situation nothing. Recieved an appology but no other response so I left. Worse experience at an Italian resturaunt ever.
