Nice place, cozy casual atmosphere. The garlic bread was the best I can remember. I had the house special Perfetto pasta ($22) with chicken added (+$5). Expected yummy pasta but it was just ok. Noodles tasted fine but were mostly stuck together in big clumps, had to cut them apart. Sauce was very good though. The soup of the day was excellent, but not really creamy mushroom as described, but more mushrooms in a flavorful broth. I really enjoyed it, just the description was off the mark.Enjoyed some very good chianti ($30/btl) as well. It was a very enjoyable meal and I would certainly go back. Highlights were the garlic bread and the mushroom soup, and, yes, the chianti 🍷.

Food over priced and service not so great went for dinner it was not busy when we first got there but our server just dint come and check on things or refill water had to wait tried to get her attention to even get our bill
I had the chicken parm. The pasta is made fresh and was tender and delicious. Everything was great! Im only sorry I didnt take a photo. I also had a cauliflower soup, which was great. Our server did her best to accommodate everybody. I felt bad for her, as other customers werent always very nice. She was young and hadnt been working there very long. The restaurant was full and everything is made from scratch. Well worth the wait in my opinion.

We always enjoy our faves but try to indulge in new dishes on occasion which doesnt disappoint. The soups are always delightful even in the summer when one typically wants a salad.I hope you try their food and a soup....I often ask for roasted vegetables rather than pasta but I do have a few bites of my hubbys pasta dish as the homemade pasta is perfect every time!
Delicious! I had the 4 cheese ravioli with marinara and added shrimp. I grew up with an Italian mother, so I am picky about spaghetti sauce. This marinara sauce was superb, the shrimp was grilled to perfection, and the presentation was truly lovely. I also had a glass of their house Cabernet Sauvignon and the quality surpassed my expectations. I would definitely order it again.
Wow! Definitely a great place! We like to make little road trips to different places, check out food and Tehachapi was our destination this weekend. Went online to check for restaurants and saw this cute, little Italian place. We got there about 15 minutes after they opened and it was already starting to fill up. The place had a great vibe and staff was more than eager to help us out! After hearing the special, we decided to make it easy and give it a try. The food was SPECTACULAR! Even though it was busy, they made sure we were taken care of and comfortable! This is the kind of place where the Sopranos would be hanging out! Bravo...
Weve been trying to get in here for awhile, tonight was the night. Relaxed place, got a bottle of wine, and had one of the best meals in town. People say the service is slower, but its not fast food, just really good Italian. Great ravioli, great soup and salad. Will certainly being making sure going here fits in our schedule.
Perfetto’s Italian Bistro was absolutely the best meal on our cross country trip from Nashville to California. The homemade Italian meal was mouth watering delicious. The house wine was fabulous.The restaurant was immaculately clean and decorated. Service was top notch and the owner made us feel like family.
Our top pick almost every date night! It’s a MUST-try if you like pasta. All homemade from scratch. The marinara sauce is perfection, the Alfredo is probably the creamiest & richest you’ll ever get. Soups are usually something unique and super Flavorful, from scratch not your basic restaurant soup. Meatballs were also homemade and had a unique yummy type of seasoning. Our other favorites are chicken Marsala, the “pasta Perfetto” but it’s hard for me to not order something with marinara. ;) the chicken scallopini (picatta?) was a little heavy on the capers for my liking because as we’ve established they never skimp on flavor (I just don’t love capers).But really the only downside of this restaurant is that you might find yourself disappointed at OTHER Italian restaurants from now on! ;) just the best!
Reservation required, but you can possible go without one. Place gets busy! The owner, Luna, makes sure your taken care of! Definitly going back a second time next time.

Great Customer Service and food very well seasoned and cooked. Drinks and breadsticks were refilled quickly. Complimented us with free dessert because of my daughters birthday. Did I mention great portions. Well definitely be coming back.
My eggplant pomodori was so delicious, probably the best meal I ever ate at a restaurant.. Our son had the lamb stew and said it was very good also.But don’t order the clams and linguine because my husband had that and said it was bitter and horrible. Our daughter in law had the ravioli with meat sauce and said it wasn’t any good.So I recommend this place but just don’t order these last two items.
My fiance and I have been here several times and are totally in love with this place. Food is always amazing, service is good wines are amazing, the owner walks the restaurant checking on all the food she clearly makes from scratch. Best Italian food Ive had in a while, and close to home too. Theyre only open a few hours a day but its worth it to hit that window.
Dinner here last night. Very good food. I had chicken cordon bleu with pasta and garlic bread. Wife had grilled salmon with rice and vegetable. Housemate pasta is excellent. Wines, coffee,tea, sodas, iced tea. Cant go wrong dining here.
Food was great and staff was friendly and attentive (after a while). Took a bit to get our orders in after we were seated and then again to get the check, but staff was very attentive in the middle. Lasagna was flavorful and cooked to perfection and the Chicken Marsala was also surprisingly well flavoured.
Rude. No greeting. The owner seemed bothered that we were a party of 6. We sat for 15 minutes without so much as water. Never again. When we got up to leave there was no apology or any effort to make things right. I guess they are a very popular restaurant and can afford to ignore paying customers. Good riddance.
This is a home cooked traditional Mediterranean inspired Italian restaurant, in my opinion. The food is delicious, served hot and fresh. I enjoy that they serve a can of soda versus a fountain drink because fountain drinks most often have a funny taste and I dont trust they are cleaned well or regularly. The soups are delicious and the garlic bread dangerously addicting. Its a nice touch that the owner comes around to greet you and exoress concern for your meal and experience. Its smaller compared to other restaurants and has limited hours but that doesnt determine the great quality they offer. Must try. Good price.
I have yet to have as bad meal here. Had the pasta primevera. Every dish is freshly prepared. Excellent garlic bread. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Gina our waitress, was friendly and pleasant, and did an excellent job serving us.
We were looking for a good pasta place the night before mountain bike racing. Perfettos was perfect. Great food, great service, and good prices. We had the Aegean Chicken, Lasagna Bolognese, Ravioli, and Chicken Alfredo. Delicious and good portions. Glad we came and will recommend to our friends.
Ravioli barely warm in middle. Eggplant Parmesan, was told was great. Sauce bland(no spice), no flavor.(maybe off night). Wine was great. Service, wonderful. Great atmosphere.atmosphere, very friendly.

Recently went here for my birthday, wonderful service and friendly staff. I dont remember the name of the lady who recommended dishes that we should try, she was very helpful and super sweet! I definitely will be coming back!

Very yummy Italian food. Their garlic bread is top notch and they have excellent cinnamon iced tea. Great small, family owned atmosphere. My only gripe is that their service can be slow.
The waiter was nice the atmosphere wasnt so hot the screeching kids were unavoidable and all I could hear screaming. The veal was actually well worth the money but I cant say that for the lasagna which was very empty overpriced and tastless. The soup to the country was also very good. And although there is room for improvement price wise and quality I would possibly try them again the willingness to please is there and the feel like I said before was excellent.

Was exceptionally disappointed across the board. We sat down and waited along time just to order a drink. Our order was delivered to our table 51 minutes from time of order. The restaurant was not busy and we observed that the other guest were experiencing the same problems. I did question our waitress prior to ordering about two of the choices and she offered a weak overview of the options. Very sad to say we will not be returning or suggesting to friends to eat here. I would rather drive to Bakersfield.

It’s pretty bad when the best thing you had was the iced tea. Zucchini sticks were ok but the marinara lacked flavor and was very watered down. We had the chicken Parmesan which was drowned in watery sauce. And the veal Marsala was also over sauced, the wine wasn’t reduced enough, very salty and the veal was tough. Definitely won’t be going back.
Truly an exceptional dinner. I had the soup special, chicken marsala and tiramisu for dessert. Huge portions, and you can taste the layers of flavor built into each dish. Service was perfectly paced and friendly. What a treasure to find.

Best eggplant parmesan ever! Decor is minimal, and I would skip the house wine, but the prices are so good you can splurge on wine. Owner Luna is delightful. Dont miss this if youre in town.
None of the employees, including the waitress and cashier, wore masks. Indoor seating was not spaced out. They are not following mask mandates and are contributing to COVID spread and deaths. I’ve been a frequent customer but will not be back. Mask your employees- it’s not hard to reduce the spread.

The food is beyond amazing and the friendly service is even better. From appetizer to desserts you can never go wrong. Everything is delicious. We come here every birthday, anniversary, and every other excuse we can just to make the hour trip over here.
This place isnt anything fancy in appearance, but the food was excellent. Our server was delightful, and when I asked about the chicken cattiatore, she informed me that it was served at her wedding. I can see why. It was delicious. I live in Las Vegas and dine out frequently, so I honestly wasnt sure what to expect at a small town Italian bistro, and I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend Perfettos.

The veal Marsala is to die for! Large serving size, freshly cooked pasta, reasonably priced, and it comes with a Caesar salad with amazing dressing. Reservations recommended for Friday and Saturday nights.
This place is a true Tehachapi gem! Fresh pasta made daily, seafood right from the LA harbor every three days, and soups that youll wish were neverending. The chef hails from Italy and pours her heart into every dish. If you can, get a seat in the back to watch her work her magic.

OUTSTANDING! Pasta is perfect, it is made in the kitchen at the restaurant! Tiramisu is excellent, not sweet, just perfect, the Chianti is wonderful and inexpensive. Great staff too!

2023-08-17 15:47:30Had a great dinner in this little Italian restaurant. We are passing through this town and this looked like a good place for dinner. I had the veal Parmesan and my wife the Chicken Cordon Bleu, both were very good meals, lots to eat. The Caesar salad was good, we had the unsweetened cinnamon iced tea which was much better than I expected. And finally, the garlic bread was fantastic. Thanks for a great meal!

Lamb marsala was tender chunks of lamb and mushrooms in a flavorful sauce over fresh house made pasta noodles! Best lamb ever! Husband enjoyed lobster ravioli but kept coming back for bites of my lamb. Garlic bread, salad and cannoli were all good as well.

2021-11-25 02:22:31I had the Spaghetti/meatball and it was TERRIBLE.The noodles are not pasta style noodles rather noodles that go into an Asian style dish.The meat had a taste of cinnamon or that of a spice. The seasoning was all wrong in the meat.The sauce…. It tasted like chef boyardee sauce with ketchup.The taste of the spaghetti was all over the place. I will never go here again.

The chef actually came to my table we spoke for a moment about the fresh homemade pasta and the dash of clam she adds to one of her dishes for that truly unique flavor. The lentil noodle soup you’ll see in the photo attached was a sensory delight. Seriously considered ordering another bowl being that I may never travel by this way again. The Pasta Primavera entrée was well worth pushing through the gluttony of going for two bowls of soup. Homemade pasta, garden grown veggies sautéed and I light wine sauce had me stuffed to the gills licking the plate it was so delicious😋 Hard to believe I topped it all off with tiramisu, it’s not often you find genuine homemade Italian food crafted with love and passion. That said you can imagine how good the tiramisu was. This restaurant was so laid-back, small town, easy-going, chill - do yourself a favor get off the highway and drop into a meaningful meal at Perfetto’s✨🌟⭐️💫
