I really liked the Kung Pao Chicken. I would definitely order that again.The Chang’s Spicy Chicken was actually very sweet and not spicy at all. It tasted sort of like Sweet and Sour Chicken. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend that if you’re wanting spice.Both were good but not amazing. And they did a great job with takeout.

It started when I called to confirm our 6:30 pm reservation for ten. I was told they didnt have a record of it. I had to insist they accommodate us and reminded the hostess of the conversation we had the week before.When I arrived at the host podium, the hostess didnt greet me. Her demeanor was very rude, and she looked upset. She told me we had to wait until 1/2 the party arrives to be seated. Ok, fine.I believe the restaurant is understaffed, and management expects staff to make up for it.When the first five of us were seated, I expected the server to take our drink order. The server came out 30 minutes later. Our drinks came out another 30 minutes later and then our food.The servers never came back to ask if we needed anything. My drink glass sat empty until we left at 9;30. We would have liked to have ordered more drinks and dessert. Instead, the server delivered our checks. Initially, the server told me he wouldnt have a problem splitting our checks. He had a lot of experience doing so.If I knew he was going to have an issue, I would have kept track. Instead, I ended up paying for an appetizer that I didnt order or eat. I believe it was a mistake because we ordered four appetizers that were accounted for. I didnt press it because the server was very nice and apologetic, and it seemed he was working very hard. He was doing the best he could under the circumstances.I ordered the Singapore Street Noodles. It had very little vegetables, chicken, or shrimp.

Located right next to the Embassy Suites, this PF Changs is a nice spot for a large group. The service is good and theyre fully staffed, so you shouldnt have trouble getting someones attention. The food is lacking in the taste department, but the drinks are good. My lunch bowl looked good, but the flavors were somewhat off. Your mileage may vary since their cooks rotate.

First time visiting this location in a couple of years and seems to have changed for the worse. Came in Friday night, which used to be busy, but this time it was only half full. Can understand why it was the case as the service wasn’t good.The appetizers we received weren’t the ones we ordered, only 3 of the 5 entrees showed up, with the last 2 coming some 10 minutes later as they had been missed. Even the portions didn’t seen right, for example the Mongolian beef should have been called green onions with beef as there was a massive pile of green onions and hidden underneath was some beef. Definitely not worth the money they charge and such a shame to see this place go backwards.

I had the most incredible dining experience at PF Changs recently, and I cant wait to share my review! My friend and I decided to sit at the bar, and from the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the ever-friendly and attentive Bar Manager, Ethan. His genuine smile and impeccable service set the tone for the rest of the evening. He made sure we had everything we needed, from drinks to appetizers, and was always ready to assist us with a pleasant demeanor.Mia, one of Ethans co-workers, was also a delight! She made sure to check in on us frequently, ensuring that we were not only happy with our orders but also entertained throughout the evening. Her engaging conversation and bright personality added an extra touch of joy to the experience.Cody, the Restaurant Manager, made a special effort to visit our seats personally and express his gratitude for choosing PF Changs. We went to P.F. Changs after visiting our daughter at UCSD. We were delighted to meet and be served by Will.Will was extremely cheerful, asking us how we were doing and what brought us in today? Will shared with us some items we might want to try as we were overwhelmed by the menu selection. We went with the Mongolian Beef, based on his recommendation, for our friend, Lee. Our family went with the Chili green beans and Ma Po Tofu.The food was delicious! The food was served fast and our water glasses were never empty. We loved our meal at P.F. Changs and loved the customer service provided by Will. He is an exception server!

We’ve been long time patrons of PF Chang’s La Jolla. Tonight, summer is definitely here. This is the busiest we’ve seen the restaurant on a Thursday night. They have the largest bar seating and the service is always impeccable. Ethan, our bar tender and experience maker was firing on all cylinders tonight. He was a party of one handling the bar and an additional section of the open table area. Ethan handled this additional workload with a smile and with speed and dexterity. Great job Ethan!!!! An unfortunate experience at this location on9/15/2023 around 7 pm.Waiting 30 minutes to be seated in a half-empty restaurant was quite frustrating.Lets begin with the most critical aspect - the food. We ordered appetizers, a bottle of Prosecco, and two salads - a satisfying Caesar salad with salmon, the only redeeming item in our order, and an exceptionally tasteless Chinese salad. The orange chicken was disappointing, to say the least. My son had to resort to my salad to get rid of the aftertaste.When I asked him why he didnt complain earlier, he admitted he was too hungry to say anything. Service was painfully slow, and the soup was watery and flavorless.We also ordered a bottle of Prosecco, which the waiter placed on our table without an ice bucket or refilling our glasses. When I requested sauces, they brought a small container of the most basic ones. Later, the manager claimed they were brought upon request, which was not the case. I asked for salt and pepper, and after our food had gonecold, they brought a mixed container.More like thisThe ambiance was marred by excessively bright lights that felt like an interrogation room. I even called the next day to speak with the manager, but our conversation ended abruptly. In a subsequent call, the manager initially offered a refund, then a coupon for a return visit, and promised another manager would call us, but none of these promises were fulfilled.Save your time and money - avoid this place.

Today is my Birthday and my parents and I came here for the first time.. we sat in the corner booth and the gentleman Preston serving our table was great! He was very accommodating to my food restrictions and went out of his was to make sure I knew what items I could have that were gluten free and dairy free.The food was fantastic. My favorite drink at P.F. Changs is their Mai Tais. The lettuce wraps, calamari, and BBQ rib appetizers are a must try and great to share with a group of people. The crispy honey shrimp is delicious. I have never been disappointed with any dish we have ordered.

We used PF Chang’s catering for a small meeting. Someone called me the night before to review a few things (excellent customer service). Narrissa and Maria were the staff that arrived to set up. They were exactly on time, cheerful, efficient and such a pleasure to work with. The food was hot and packaged well. PF Changs is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’ll get. There are a few constants and they make it a 5 star experience. Ethan the bartender is awesome. Manages a full bar with ease, making sure that everyone is taken care of and offering friendly conversation whenever he can. A true rockstar. Adding to the hospitality are Cody and Luis who are always on the floor greeting guests and very hospitable. The roulette wheel comes into play with the food and bathrooms. A few weeks ago I had a sudden urge and was told to use the restroom at the nearby hotel. That was an unpleasant experience on many fronts but things seem to have improved. The food is also trending in the right direction and the recent addition of happy hour is appreciated for locals.

The restaurant is at a great location just opposite Westfield UTC. The service is really great, the food is also delicious. We ordered Hot and Sour chicken soup, it was alright. For the main course ordered P.F Changs spicy chicken with Chicken lo mein noodles. The main course was good, the quantity was good for 2 people. We also ordered Singapore street noodles. It was good and savory. Their in-house ginger beer is amazing, if you like ginger flavour do try this. For dessert, we ordered The great wall of Chocolate, which came with fruits and fruit sauce.

They open at 11AM, we arrived at 130PM and were advised that the short ribs entree was not available. Our server advised that they were cooking the short ribs fresh and it would be another 45 minutes.While enjoying the crispy green beans our server returned to see if we had made an alternate menu choice. I explained that we were probably going to finish the green beans and go somewhere else for lunch.She came back to our table moments later to advise the ribs were ready.Ribs were tough as shoe leather. We asked for regular fried rice instead of Pineapple fried rice. We got Pineapple fried rice anyway.Eggplant entree was stone cold and lacked flavor.Employee was setting the table next to us with a celebrate with us kit. He dropped a gold chopstick on the floor, quickly picked it up and set it aside. Finishing up he realized he was one chopstick short. He looked around the restaurant and then reached back, grabbed the dirty chopstick and used it.You two can have this same experience for the low, low, low price of $66. 🤢🤮

Really deserves “0”. First time I have ever done NO tip. Erin was very poor. No personality. Inattentive. I believe he was brand new, but received very little support! Forgot entrees and rice. I had to ask for additional water from someone else. Used to be a huge fan, but not ever again in La Jolla! I had a great experience at PF Changs for my dads birthday. He is 85 yrs old and just lost his lifelong companion. Our family wanted to make his birthday extra special this year. Our server was Anabelle and she made our experience extra enjoyable. We didnt have to ask for anything, Anabelle didnt miss a beat with her service. She was also very empathetic towards our situation. I dont normally leave reviews but I felt the need to as my dad really needed this years birthday to be extra special and so did the rest of our family. Terrible food, worst service and sweet as mad drinks. This place is not even comparable to the rundown strip mall teriyaki places. The waiters and the manager we so horrible when I asked them to fix one of my drinks that they ruined with too much sweet. Most of the food here seems made in factories and not made fresh. Back over to the US for a visit. Loved P.F.Changs when I lived here xx years ago - first time Ive seen a restaurant however.Utterly delicious food, polite and engaging staff, and lovely layout. Suitable for everything from a date night down to being good for kids.Menu is lovely - there is a childrens menu with some excellent options too. Main menu caters for pretty much all needs, with a lot of veggie options for mains.Starters cost on average $6, mains roughly €15-€20.

PF Chang is not very authentic Chinese food but I believe it meets more people’s tastes in US. For me, I’m okay with that too. Today I ordered the wonton soup and Buddha’s feast which I was very satisfied with both. The only thing is what my husband ordered - the dumplings taste weird to me because they are lobster dumplings with miso butter. We never put butter with dumplings so it’s very strange to me, but my husband enjoyed it very much. He also enjoyed his dragon roll. We will come back, especially I wanna try their ma po tofu next time.

Nothing special, panda express will do better, but this place is 5X the price. The prices are obscene for what you get and even crazier for the service. Didnt impress 20 years ago, still doesnt. Friends visiting town wanted to meet there first dinner. Last time I was there was about 20 years ago. Back then I didnt really know what Asian food was, I thought their chicken lettuce wraps were good. I told my colleagues we should go for lunch there, they laughed and took me to a real Chinese restaurant - never looked back.So got the opportunity to go again, but thats probably the last time. This is the definition of an American chain restaurant in so many ways. Half empty restaurant and people sitting and waiting at the entrance for a table. Let people sit and have a drink, so annoying.Ordered a couple of cocktails, tasted like ice water with a drop of mint. A very limited menu to be honest. The waiter got the food right, but the kitchen not and they had another person serve, which goes to show there isnt any follow up from the waiter to each table. Not only did they miss 2x dishes, they tried to serve a single dish, which wasnt what we ordered. A good waiter checks on the kitchen for the table they serve, they know there are 5 people, they know what we ordered - having some runner serve, wastes everyones time.We were almost done with the food before their missing mains came out. My black pepper beef was almost so burned it was crispy like bacon. All desserts had almost flown off the plates, sorry the waiter said.Im not complaining about anything in particular, more like the entire place and experience. Knowing how many good restaurants are around, it will take me another 20 years before I go there again. The price we paid wasnt worth it, not even close.They do validate the parking across the road in the parking structure. But kind of sad its they only good thing about the place.

Only gripes with P.F Changs is they try to charge you to park so I recommend parking elsewhere and they keep it pretty cold on the inside so I recommend dressing accordingly and not wearing a short sleeved shirt.

Beef broccoli was overcooked.Restaurant could use some TLC, especially the bathrooms which looked disgusting. For a place like PF Changs, this is unacceptable. Dirty, old, fixtures broken, out of paper towels, etc.. This location has been around for a while, but no excuse to let things go like this. Poor management.When you pay, you now have to scan another qr code and pay on your phone. So now instead of just handing the server two credit cards, the restaurant wants me to work to scan the QR code, pull up a website Ive never heard of before, figure out how to split the bill, and enter in all the credit card information myself. Youve taken one of the easiest things to do and made it more cumbersome. Im all for technology when it makes things easier, but between the online menu and paying your own bill on your phone, PF Changs use of technology is completely backwards. Theyre just shifting the work on to the paying customer.No thanks, wont be returning to this location again until. Only saving grace was our server who was polite, helpful, and on top of things. Stopped in for a cocktail and wanted to take lettuce wraps to go asked for no mushroom the server behind the bar Astrid said it could not be done .. usually go to the one in mission valley they do make it with no mushroom for a person with a food allergy everytime I asked almost 2 years now and are very courteous...The La Jolla location Astrid seemed annoyed with the request and I was going to leave a tip for Astrid because my cocktail I ordered was really good but when you hear your server Astrid talking about you well you take the tip back. let me give you a little advice it is the consumer who by spending money in the establishment that you are employed allows you to be paid so be kind to your patrons

Came here today and bought 2 family meals for 6. Should feed 10 I figure. Wrong! It fed 6. It was over $200. The manager said you save so much money. The rice and noodles for 6 was one small bowl filled 3/4ths at most. The main dish was not even 1 full size order I would say it was 3 half orders expected to feed two each., 8 pieces of Mongolian beef expected to feed two people? I literally have to go to Panda to supplement this meal for my family.

Dined in today for lunch. It was the perfect lunch; it was leisurely and our server, Vanessa S., was amazing. She had recommended a side salad for an upcharge of $2.50 of the mandarin salad. A little late in my review regarding an order our company made to this local branch a few weeks ago. Manager Anthony gave us a call informing us that we did not order enough food for the 50+ people our company were hosting.Despite our requested delivery time (which at the time of the call was in about an hour), Anthony effectively made suggestions to re-create our order to better satisfy our needs and worked alongside Take-Out Specialist Astrid to deliver the quantities we needed to serve our colleagues and visitors. Bravo PF Chang LaJolla ! 5 stars to the staff and especially the managers Corey and Kirby . We had our client holiday party of 40 people . The room was perfect and the wait staff very attentive . Corey and Kirby were so accommodating and created a welcoming environment, attending to every detail, while dealing with an adverse situation of a staff shortage . It was a wonderful event many of our clients love PFChang and were so happy attending a holiday gathering there . Many said that are going to return . We used to be very regular customers and have eaten at the UTC or Fashion Valley location more times than we can count. On this visit to UTC, our first since going back out, we went at happy hour at 4:30 PM as weve done for years and ***as is still advertised on their website.***The bartender said that happy hour no longer exists and was removed during the pandemic. Huh? Then why is it on your website? He was unfriendly and unpleasant about it. We decided to stay anyway and had one of the lowest price glasses of wine each and one order of tofu lettuce wraps to share -- that had a very diminished serving of lettuce and many white pieces of lettuce. Cost with a tip? A reasonable and not over-the-top tip? $51. This will never happen again. We will never be back. The couple next to us (obviously past happy hour visitors as well) heard all this and said to us, Its not like theyre losing money, and we agree. PF Changs thrives on bar eating with full place mats and place set-ups. But this is the tipping point. We are done forever. We felt unwelcome and it was not fun.

We called ahead and made a reservation at 5pm last night for her Birthday, we arrived and I was disappointed that the horses got painted, I liked the concrete look better but just my opinion. Good food and decent prices. Theyve changed the menu a little, so make sure you know what youre ordering. We ordered the fried pot stickers for our appetizer, and thats not what we got. Our waiter insisted they were pot stickers, but when we asked a different waiter what they were, he said, those are definitely not pot stickers. The filling was very mushy and not very good. Our waiter ended up just taking them away.

The worst experience my family and I had at this location. We were in town for labor day weekend and decided to dine at P.F.s Saturday evening 9/05/2020 it started off with bad service over the phone. I called sometime before 8:30 p.m. to make a reservation the hostess who answered the phone never stated her name. She sounded annoyed and rude, when I informed her it was a reservation for 6 guests she stated that they only had a 9:30 p.m. opening and emphasized that they closed at 10PM yet I was calling way before closing time. She was being vague and discouraging, so I asked for the earliest time possible and was given a 9:15PM reservation. We arrived at 9:05PM and wasnt seated till 9:20PM no one came to our table till 15mins later. A worker named Logan who was the only one with great customer service came to our table stated he wasnt a server but would do his best to assist us and take our order. There were other workers staggering around by the bar chatting and laughing amongst themselves instead of assisting guests. Finally our waiter came to our table her name was Jolie and although nice but not attentive, never came to follow up if we had our food.We were still waiting for our food which never came by now its 10pm and my kids were hungry so I got up and informed her we were done waiting and that we were leaving and not paying for anything. Weve never experienced such bad customer service and will never go back!

We went to the P.F. Changs in la Jolla. we had a reservation for 8:45 we got there around 8:20 and were seated around 8:25 8:30 so thats a really good thing we didnt have to wait until our time. The server was really energetic and helpful with suggestions. we both wound up ordering noodle type dishes but they were both really good sorry no pictures I inhaled the food way too fast! the one thing I will tell you is the mango iced tea is not sweet so either order sweetener or happen to like some of bitter drinks as far as the mango flavor never found it but after about two or three sugars and decent! Overall really good experience at P.F. Changs however if youre going to go make sure you go to the one in la Jolla the one in mission valley had an hour and a half wait time way too long.

If it wasnt for the bartender Rob this place would of gotten a lower rating he was amazing, and friendly. When we first arrived we as well as couple that just arrived accidentally walked in through the side door (there was no sign saying it wasnt an entrance), we were waiting around for about 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged despite the fact that several servers turned and looked at us. After a group of them gathered to turn and look at us they finally asked us if we had been helped. When we ordered our food they brought us food from the wrong table that had also ordered the same thing which was no inconvenience for us but Im sure was frustrating for the table it was meant for. They didnt bring us our appetizer until we mentioned that we didnt want it anymore because we were almost done with dinner. Rob kindly took it off our tab and apologized. I had ordered the Pad Thai and asked for it to be spicy and they did not make it spicy at all. Rob quickly offered to either have it remade or if I would like some Chilli paste I chose the later. I realize Rob had nothing to do with the inconvenience in our meal and had it not been for him and his great personality this would of been a terrible experience. I hope this place acknowledges what a gem of a bartender they have aside from being very attentive and kind he also made amazing beautiful drinks that tasted delicious he was the only positive part of this experience.
