Go to place sometimes when its date night I have ate a few times here but it was a double date n my choice to pick were we would dine out n the couple who was joining us never tried so give them a new spot to enjoy a gd meal.really enjoyed the cocktails that I was served n the food was great a place I sure will go bk to worth it every time I visit

Man was this the best freaking place Ive been to out here in Bakersfield. Thats my personal opinion, for now -Originally from Los Angeles- since theres many more restaurants I want to visit here in Bakersfield. So when I first arrived they said half hour wait so I said yes. At the end it turned out to be an hour wait I was going to leave but I had waited long enough to just leave after all. IM GLAD I WAS PATIENT. The food was amazing and full of flavor, the waitresses were extremely polite and on top of making sure customer expectations were being met, I think the reason for that is all the staff there really communicate with one another to have things running smooth. They werent clingy either. The experience overall was extremely better than the price me and my wife paid for our meals. Definitely wont be my last visit. Amazing job to all the staff there.

I normally like PF Changs, its not too bad. This last experience was swang my review from 4 stars to 3.The food was okay. We initially ordered two dishes that were ultimately unavailable, that was a bummer. We then ordered two dishes that were fine. The shrimp in the fried rice was not good at all, but the rice was fine. The pepper steak was good, and the lettuce wraps were fantastic (as always).Service was good. Our waiter was polite and apologetic about our initial orders. The atmosphere was just too loud with screaming and crying kids allowed to run amuck throughout the dining area.Overall everything was fine. Just not what it used to be.

After visiting only once before, being left only with the memory of dissatisfaction, I still left disappointed with low expectations. Ordered the Buddhas Feast. It was served with a bland sauce without garlic or any carrots which was stated on the menu. The meal was comped but since Ive never been pleased with any item from here I wont be returning and wont recommend it.

The shining gem of my visit was the customer service my wife and I received. The quality of our meal was adequate, with the exception of not being served hot! The biggest disappointment was the names and filthy language carved into the wall above the urinal in the mens bathroom.

The food had rich flavors and the atmosphere was pretty neat. Service took a while for extra refills and such, but everyone was extremely friendly. I am rating it 4 stars due to how expensive the food is for how small the portions are. Id much rather go to another local restaurant and spend the same amount of money, but get much more food. The flaming fire and ice dessert is kind of neat, but was lacking quite a bit on flavor (maybe it burned off), lol. Anyways, if youre into spending more money for fancy plates and a decent atmosphere: this place is for you. We, however, will not be returning. Its worth it to try at least once and were glad we went.

We made a reservation for 4 online. There was a place for comments, i filled in we were celebrating our daughters 15th birthday. When we arrived they had some special items on the table, a special mat on the table and a birthday card signed by the staff. Our table attendent was so kindest and thoughtful gentlemen.Thank you so much for going the extra mile.

Went came here for Fathers day since it didnt have a wait time, It should have been a red flag. The server took a bit to greet us, once we ordered our drink my wife asked for sweetener for her tea which never came. The food is comparable to B rated fast food Chinese restaurant. My daughter became ill from the sushi, I informed the front desk who said they where calling the manager, we paid and left and not once did we see or speak to the manager. First time at P.F Changs, unfortunately will also be our last.

Lunch with co-workers for Chinese New Year. We ordered lunches, not family-style dishes, but shared some dumplings, which came to the table piping-hot, and with a nice flourish our server poured a dark sauce over them, creating a steamy, fragrant delight. All the lunches were declared really, really tasty. One diner noted that the serving sizes were smaller than we remember.

Ive been here a few times now and I always leave satisfied. This was no exception, my tastes were satisfied, and maybe more importantly I was surprised with the cost. Three entrees and two appetizers (all water drinks) came out to less than $40!Service was friendly, happy to make jokes and chat. Frequent refills, even on a busy Saturday night. Ill be happy to return again soon!

If Spice is an issue for you check with them and ask specifically what you want in spices,and if you go regularly then you might find they are inconsistent. The sushi seemed fresh, but was not sure if it was made fresh. Our friends go here and they liked it and were our guides in menu selection. Salads are huge, and portions are plenty, so you might want to go with a great appetite for this type of food. The place was almost packed out, and they do take reservations so, you might want to give them a try.

This location lacks compared to others Nationally. I sat at the bar. The server was cold and less than engaging in her role. The food was ok but not to the corporate standard. The facilities were dingy. Its been used hard. No warm feelings here. The positive was the two young ladies at the front desk offering a warm greeting and thanks as I left. I would still go - just expect less than other National locations.

Ive come here on several different occasions to see how the consistency was. Not so good. The food was normally dry, overcooked, and flavorless. Silverware and dishes were 7/10 times dirty had leftover food debris or dust. Two thirds of the menu is normally out of stock. Atmosphere is filled with screaming children at all times of the day (no fault to the restaurant). Service during lunch was always bad whilst being exceptional for the dinner hours. Doubt I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

Nice atmosphere to enjoy some nice food and drink. The bartenders and waitstaff are always friendly and prompt. This is a great place to watch a football game or other sporting event, as they have several televisions in the bar. We had a good experience at the one in Monterey about 4 years ago. So we gave the one in Bakersfield a try.We were initially seated at a small table against the wall and we asked if we could move to a larger table. There were three clean vacant tables and one booth, but the hostess told us to go back into the waiting area until she could wipe down the only dirty table in the room. Then we were ushered back in, handed one drink menus and told to scan the box with our phone to see the menu. We asked for printed menus and she brought ONE! Our server brought us another one on request.Now we get to the food. Everything was cold. The tea, the entrees, the fried rice, the appetizer were stone cold. We asked for hot tea and our server brought out another pot, so he said, and it was the same pot and empty. This was possibly the most miserable dinner we ever had, all for the bargain of $70! NEVER AGAIN!.

First time going to a P.F. Changs, probably last.Great service, mediocre food for the price.Ordered: Orange chicken, Singapore street noodles, calamari.Calamari was a very good appetizer. Really set the expectations high for the entrees.Orange chicken breading was already soggy upon getting our food. Sauce itself was pretty under flavored.As for the Singapore street noodles, the flavor was either a bite of noodles overpowered by lime juice, mushy cilantro, or overly ripened onion, no in between flavor or essence of what Singapore noodles should represent. Ive had these noodles elsewhere for half the price and double the quality.First round of drinks were good, but on our second round they had switched bartenders and the quality wasnt anything like the first round. (Confirmed with the waiter that the bartender had in fact been different.)

I came here with all the family first impressions restaurant smelled really bad soon as I walked in, but still tried to ignore it because I have heard that this is a good place. Restrooms were awfully stinky. I ordered the egg drop soup, and it was so cold not hot at all. Taste was awful like it was old and not made fresh. Tables did not look clean either. I would definitely recommend this place to be more clean and work on their food because serving cold food is out of order.

Last night I had dinner with my family and I felt a bite on my foot. Didn’t think much of it until the next day when I looked at my foot and noticed these huge lumps on my foot. I called to speak to the manager I spoke to someone named Bree who had poor management skills and had nothing to say about my incident she claimed that there’s no proof it could of happened at her restaurant. She then went on and said it’s regular for small mosquitoes to bite anckles it happens to the employees all the time. The food is amazing and so is the service unfortunately after experiencing such an awful management experience I won’t be eating here again.

Since we didnt know the area, we opted to get carry out from PF Changs We have eaten there several times at other locations and knew what to expect. Boy, were we wrong! Our carryout was some of the worst Chinese food we have ever had! I ordered Kung Pao Chicken and it was bone dry, no sauce at all! My husband ordered Buddhas Feast and he said it was extremely bland. The only decent part of the meal were the spring rolls. To add insult to injury, it was over $50 for two meals and one order of spring rolls!

Went for an early Sunday dinner with family visiting from out of town. Table was dirty with dried rice stuck to it and greasy on another part of the table. All the glasses were dirty and water spotted. One of the wine glasses had old lip stick on it. We ordered 8 entrees plus soup. I asked him if he could ensure the rest of the meal was served hot. My husband and I went to P.F. Chang’s for the first time this afternoon. We chose to sit and eat in the bar because there were only 4 other people in the bar. We thought the service would be faster. The bar top was dirty all the way down. The rag we were given to wipe it off with was dirty as well and left a residue. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our order and another 45 minutes to get it. This was at 4 in the afternoon. Our plates were greasy also. The bathrooms were disgusting. I don’t think we will go back.

I went here for the first time in 10 years. I was actually quite surprised how run-down the interior was. I dont think theyve updated the place in that time, and much of it is breaking apart. Its only saving grace is the interior is dimly lit so its hard to tell forr many many people. Nonetheless, we had the sun setting into the dining room during our meal and you could see the thick dust between the booths, theres broken blinds in the waiting area, etc. The food was okay. Service was good. Im probably going to stick to local Chinese for that authentic atmosphere and probably 1/3 cheaper.

I am sad to write this review about a restaurant that I used to love... My wife and I just had dinner at this location the other night and were very dissatisfied with our experience. Our server was great, but the restaurant in itself changed the menu taking off both entrees that we normally get, but didn’t find out until after we had already finished both of our appetizers. We normally order the orange peel chicken and harvest curry, but they decided to change their menus because they said it’s a “test location” even though all the other P.F. Chang’s still have the old menu. We ended up ordering the kung pao chicken and beef and broccoli and the veggies in both orders were uncooked. We spent $70 on a dinner that we thought was going to be a nice night out, but instead felt like we had been ripped off. Panda Express has better food than this at 1/4 of the cost. Our dining experience was great with good service, but the food and menu have really taken a downward spiral. We will not be eating here again, which sucks because like I stated before, we used to love coming here.

We ordered lettuce wraps, which were delicious and my son ordered a pepper beef dish that he enjoyed. My order was the Pad Thai with chicken. My dish looked like it was made the day before. Additionally, they have tofu in the dish. When you order a protein, they charge you extra. I would have been fine with that if they had actually put a decent amount of chicken on the dish. There were 2 pieces of chicken and at least 10-12 pieces of tofu. There were also pieces of egg shell in the dish. I threw away the rest of the dish because it was disgusting.

I tried one of this restaurants in a different city and I thought it was ok.So, when i so the commercial for the new steak entree i wanted to try it. Very disappointing. The steak was chewy and hard to eat. Rice was too sticky. The calamari appetizer was too greasy and it tasted like old grease.Service was ok. Standard affair of chain Asian food. I got the Changs spicy chicken and there was very little spice to it 3/5. The chicken fried rice was good 4/5. The lava cake tasted pretty good but was dry 3/5.Their pear mojito was delicious, but it did cost $11 each.Service was decently attentive for a Friday night, but it did take us 30 minutes to place our order, then over another hour to get our food. We were there for about 2.5 hours

There service is not the greatest. Supervisor and host are sitting inside talking to each other. The food was great. We ask the host for sarasha and soy sauce and she forgot we where the only table outside. They have misters and fans and didnt offer to turn them on. We where sweating, they I went inside ask the waiter to take my card, I didnt want my client to know I payed. And the first thing he does is take it out to the table when I saiy all come out and sign it. For sure not coming back.

Until we asked how the manager can accommodate the inconvenience then they said we could order dinner. The drinks took way too long to get to us as well as our appetizers. If you are doing lunch go just before noon and avoid the noon crush. Staff is friendly and helpful. Try the chicken lettuce wraps with Hoisin sauce. Excellent! Just keep in mind if on a diet that Hoisin is full full of surgar and calories. Beef with broccoli was also flavourful although I prefer my broccoli a bit firmer. Oh, and dont forget a favorite of mine the Hot n Sour soup. Very good balance of vinegar, chilli oil and Soy sauce.

The busy server saved this from being a 0star review... Three of us ordering. My youngest ordering long life noodles and prawns with no chilis. It came covered in chili flakes(not whole chilis), shrimp and noodles. You would think that would mean not to make it hot!!! My other child ordered dynamite shrimp(8) that was served on a large mound of shredded cabbage(not notated on the menu). Also served soggy on the batter. I ordered the Thai harvest curry with chicken. Hardly any chicken and small bits to boot. The curry taste could not be found. Tasted more like a peppered cream with hot rings on chili peppers hidden in the mix. None of us finished our food and my kids actually didnt feel good towards the end of our meal. The waiter who assisted us must have noticed when we all declined to get togo boxes. He apologized and offered us dessert. I tasted both my kids food and couldnt believe how unappetizing they were. Ultimately, I blame the chef. It his that persons responsibility to taste the food to meet customer expectations before having it delivered to the customer. That did not happen in this case. And because of that, we had to cancel plans today due to stomach issues for my kids. Too bad. The place had a great ambience that we all enjoyed.

We had made reservations early for a group of 25 at 8pm. We called and verified that the tables were ready. We were told yes no problem. When we got to the restaurant, we were told that they had used those tables for other guests had been seated at our tables. This is poor management. Those tables should have had a reserved signs on those tables. Apparently your kitchen was under staffed as well. People were not getting their food on time. Again poor business practice. The manager that was on was not mature enough to handle this situation. I suggest that when there are large groups that have reserved tables that the owner should cpme in and handle that. The other hostess was real good at spouting off percentages etc. Unfortunately I found that sne was just spouting averages she was given in training. Food was ok. But all in all this was a bad experience all the way around. Bill Lees would have been a better fit

Just ate here for the 1st time and not really impressed. My wonton soup came without wontons and was warm not hot as it should have been. My husbands orange chicken was bland and seemed microwaved. They don’t give you any sort of dish to mix the wasabi and soy sauce for sushi rolls. I will say my California roll was decent but I have had better around town. The female servers need to do a better job of keeping their hair pulled back. Our server had a sloppy ponytail with hair hanging down in front of her face. Long story short we can now say we’ve eaten at P.F. Chang’s but we won’t be returning. Quality of the food doesn’t match up with what you pay.

I am genuinely bummed out at how downhill this chain has gone :(They are constantly messing w good recipes and changing out things that were popular to begin with. I understand this is a corporate issue but from what I understand they arent taking critiques seriously.food: The food had no spice. Apparently the chain is trying to lessen spiciness (?). The curry sauce on our street noodles was more of a boiled lime sauce. Also, I really dont understand why they are serving sushi which is notably Japanese. With that in mind, the chain has turned into a fusion cuisine rather than Chinese cuisine. So dont go expecting traditional chinese.cocktails: they are sticklers for how much liquor goes into each cocktail (i want to day they top off at 2 oz) and their starting costs are about $10. Theyre delicious but expect to pay quite a bit. A beer is $6 (or 4 during hh).Service: we sat in the bar at around lunchtime (130pm), it was dead . Our bartender/server was helpful, attentive, & adorable. We really appreciated her helping us to jazz up our food when we realized the recipe had changed.

This place is definitely on its last leg with me. It has been consistently getting worse & worse. This last time, the rice was nothing but mush -I complained about it, but that did nothing. So I ate no rice with my meal, AND this issue wasnt even compensated for on the bill either. In addition, the egg flower soup was nothing but super thick corn starch with not much else. And even at that, the bowl wasnt even full like it used to be in past visits. I was debating on trying their new ramen bowl, but it was WAY OVER PRICED. They want $15 for the bowl of ramen, and an extra $1 for an egg (which comes with the ramen anywhere else), and another $1 to $2 to have some protein in the bowl too (which, once again, is included any where else). When an actual specialty ramen restaurant charges $10-12 for an excellent big bowl of ramen with the protein & egg included in the price, and then you come here.... well theres something majorly wrong with this picture at PF Changs. And judging by how the rest of the food tasted here, I highly doubt itd be worth the extra money. By the way, watch yourself with the tea pots here -the handle came off of mine. Luckily it was almost empty & I was able to catch it when it fell off. Ridiculous.
