Stopped by here on the way back from Sequoia National Park to grab a bite to eat before heading back to Stockton. Atmosphere not the greatest but here for the food. The man who took our order for our food got our order wrong but corrected it. Food wise, the pho was good, broth was a tad bit sweet for my taste but overall good. The grilled pork rice plate was flavorful and tender.

I like this place a lot. The cooking is authentic and legit. It’s cash only, but this shouldn’t be a problem since the prices are very reasonable.I’ve been here 6 or 7 times and find that the food is consistently good. It doesn’t feel like the cleanest place, but don’t be dissuaded. Order the pho and feel the health flowing through your veins!

Quick service! Lady asked us if were ready to order before we can even open the menu. Ahaahahahaha.. Food came out quick, nice and hot. We ordered the Super pho and house special fried rice. Huge portion and very generous with meat. Customer service isnt all that great. Lady looked mean and doesnt answer to anything. Asked for an extra bowl, she doesnt say a thing. Goes to grab bowl, set it on table and leaves without saying anything. Same things with asking for a Coke. Grabs it, set it on table and walks away. The guy was friendly though. He at least smiled at us. :)

I went to pho 1 yesterday and the older lady that serve us didnt welcome us and didnt smile with any facial expression like always when we go there. We order 2 seafood Chaofun and 3 ice thai tea. In the seafood chaofun, the fish ball and the meatloaf tasted overdue. The ice thai tea tasted like sink water. This place I always come but it depend on the day you go. Sometime is good sometime is bad. But overall I still like the food and the best part are their pho. Their pho broth tasted good. The only part I dont like is their customer service.

Ordered the large seafood combination Pho and extra noodles! ( The portion was so huge, didnt really need the extra noodles!) The Pho broth was amazing and service was fast and good! overall I give the Pho #1 ☆☆☆☆ stars, the only issue was the mens restroom definitely needed a thorough cleaning! I recommend take out or dine in if you can hold your bladder. Again, the Pho soup was amazing.

Best Pho in Fresno! And Ive been to a lot. It may not be the fanciest place in town, but you get the most for your money. Theres tons of meat in your bowl. There definitely isnt a better place around. You get the biggest bang for your buck.Still stand behind the is the ultimate Pho shop in fresno. You never leave hungry, thats for sure.

I came in with kids without checking the close time. And they said they were closing, I said ok we will leave. The young owner told us to go in. So we did anyways.. the food came and pho liquid tasted like dirty washing sponge liquid. I had kids with me and they fed us this. They could have just let us leave. This was a while ago, but I’m pretty sure the owners and cooks are still the same people

Go here for pho and pho only bc the pho is delicious, its even in the name. My mistake for ordering the grill beef #43, the photo showed a nicely charred grill beef, but it was more of a stir fry beef. Its not worth it. Also, the Thai is good to try once only.

Not too clean not too dirty... but the places seriously do need to have a annually major cleaning. The pho noodles they used are the dried type not the one in the fridge. Their pho broth are never the same. Sometime the broth are good and sometime it taste nasty. Will I go there again? Yea but probably not anytime soon... maybe within the next 3-5 months. They dont greet or always have all the sauce you needed... you will have to ask them or go to another table and grab the sauce there.

I would rate this higher but unfortunately they only take cash. They do have an ATM there but it is pricey to pull cash.The food is flavorful. The Pho’ is very delicious. Beef pho’ is my go to. The prices are great. XXL bowl out the door is less than $12.The broth is delicious alone so you can imagine the burst of flavors after adding the rest of the toppings.I do recommend this place because their broth is always the same flavor unlike other places the broth is either watery, oily, or no flavor.

Always a go-to for me, families, and friends. Love their menu selections with rice plates and pho is good. You actually really get tendons in your pho. Service is not the best or friendliest but Ive been a long time customer due to previous owner who would always greet you and he used to own pho75 over 20 years ago.

Hands down the most modest and generous Pho place. The portions are huge. Compared to other restaurants their regular is a large, their large is xl, and so on. One XL bowl feeds me and my two kids. The broth is the cleanest, least oily Ive had in Fresno. They give the most condiments to build your bowl. One stem of basil? No. How about a handful. One handful of bean sprout? No. How about three! They give plenty of steak and flank, and guess what... ask for crush peanuts on the side and they give a small bowl full at no extra charge. Dont forget about the other dishes as well. They make one of the best fried rice dish in town and their lemon grass chicken is hands down the best Ive had. Customer service is nice and friendly. Pho #1 is my go to when I have guests in town because I know they never fail.

Enjoyed coming here with my family & the the pho was delicious! Dining area was clean & all the staff that attended us were friendly. We have a toddler & high chairs are available upon request. Only downside was the parking, it probably took us at least 15 minutes to find a spot. The location has high traffic so be prepared to go around the lot several times. Overall, great place to get some pho!

Food was pretty good, but something wrong with communication. My friend and I stopped in. I was eating, she was just going to have a drink. The waiter goes, Why not?. I thought that was kind of pushy and weird. I wanted a drink refill, the waiters playing on his tablet or nowhere to be found. Just seemed to be remiss about customer service, never brought me my bill. They only take cash, so if you go with a debit card, forget it.

Ordered some food, they brought the wrong order for one of the dishes. I told them I didnt order that I ordered a different one. The guy told me that it was the same exact dish just one was smaller size. But clearly the name for the dishes were not the same, asked for more tendons on the side, took about 30 minutes to get it, had to go up and ask for it again. Just seemed like they were in a hurry just to go home. Speaking Vietnamese thinking people wont understand what they say behind peoples backs. Pho has way too much msg here. Decent amount of meat.

Wednesday, March 10, 2021So, I love this place. Good food, not much drink variety, but the noodles are my to go for.The pricing of food is alright, not expensive, but it certainly isnt low either. Actually, Im probably too poor, so eh. Just a me problem.The pho, depending on the size you order, determines the price.Honestly, the bowl sizes are hardly any different when it comes to medium and large lol. I feel as though I ate a medium when I order a beef pho.The drinks are mainly smoothies and sodas, so unless you want that, there isnt really any other drink to get. I always get water.The wait time for food is average of 10 to 20 minutes, depending on how much you order.There is currently dine-in for food (quarantine is still going on though, so that may change later), but this is the update for March 10, 2021.

This is my boyfriend’s favorite Pho in Fresno and I’m so happy he introduced me to it. The broths are phenomenal and the flavors of the vegetarian version are incomparable! There’s an abundance of greens and broccoli/carrots, we always get a large bowl each. The toppings are super fresh and crisp, basil is always very aromatic. My son gets the rare steak pho and loves it! The place is always clean, the owner and his employees are very welcoming and water is brought over soon as they see customers sit down. Before we leave we always get Thai teas to wash down the heat. We live on Herndon/99 and make the drive here at least once a week!Let me just add that they are open late, my boyfriend went once before closing and almost left out of respect to their hours and the owner insisted he sit down and eat. I’ve called before after 9:30 and again, the owner answers happily and insists we come. They were open Christmas as well which was a huge deal for us! They’ll always be our go to spot!

Pho #1 is a good authentic Vietnamese resturant. The only thing thing worth mentioning is that because Its authentic in can come off load dirty and slightly chaotic to people unfamiliar with this kind of resturant. There are almost always a couple flies buzzing around. Dont let this dissuade you as the good is good and Ive never had food poisoning or anything like that.Over all worth checking out if not making a special trip for.

I forgot that they only accepted cash since Ive only been there once. Anyways the lady behind the counter had REALLY BAD customer service. She told me that they only accepted cash. Never once did she gave me eye contact. As I walked towards their atm machine to take out some cash so that I can order something, she rudely said that it was out of service. Her every word and gesture was RUDE! I tried SO HARD not to go off on her. Dont get me wrong, Im a really cool person but she definitely pushed my buttons. Pho1 just lost a customer. Plus its dirty/filthy there, maybe I shall call the health inspection on them. Try me.

Best pho in California. Tried pho all the way from San Jose down to San diego and they all fail in comparison. The price and portions cannot be beat. Some say the service is poor but to me its just their way of respecting your space and not wanting to waste your time with small talk. Because they do bring you your food lightening fast.

This cash only restaurant seems to run fully operational and eager to please, even during late hours. I walked in several minutes before closing, ordered, and my togo food was packaged perfectly and FRESH! If you crave Pho, they have what you crave. The soup is fantastic, and is a cure-all for whatever ails you. The Bahn-mi (sp?) Sandwich is a fine alternative, which when consumed with the accompanying peppers, will also burn out the weakest cells in your body and bring happiness into your life. You may need tissues at that point. -But this stuff has TONS of flavor -delicious! Oh, and the prices are great! Im sure it takes a witch-doctor a week to make the broth for the soup, but he must work cheap because you and a friend can drown in the stuff for less than 20 bucks. Local business, good food, and they take cash -which is also good, because cash talks *in every language*, including vietnamese, which I dont understand at all. Point to the thing on the menu that you want and the dude will nod in acceptance of your choice. Enjoy!

There is always hair in my food. I never found a hair in my pho, but every time I order spring rolls there would be a piece of hair inside the spring rolls. Sometimes it looks like pubic hair and sometimes its hairs from the head. I just went there two days ago and found a hair in the dipping sauce! that was their last chance. Im never going there again because of their uncleanness. Bathroom is very dirty also, so how they make their food, I gurantee its NOT clean. Theres this time where I sat where I can see whats going on in the kitchen and omg they was not even wearing gloves! I saw the man that was making pho, scratched his head and then grabbed noodles with the same hand! The uncleanness is a big problem and they need to get it fix right away!! Never going back!!!!!

Still the best authentic Vietnamese Pho in Fresno. Consistent flavorful beef broth. Broth is good as is without any added condiments. But theres fish sauce, sugar, peanuts, hot oil as well as the usual hoisin and sirriacha. 4 choice of bowl sizes. Plenty of protein options. 15 years satisfaction.

We had figured lets try it again maybe it would be different but we were wrong... the only special request that was made was for my sons pho to please have only shrimp and fish ball.. and made sure to tell her that if its an extra charge that is perfectly ok ... she stood there staring at me like I was an idiot and proceeded to tell me that she cant do that...
