Ph 45 in Garden Grove

I am Vietnamese so very picky. This place has amazing food, generous portions, very affordable and really great customer service which is so rare for a Vietnamese restaurant. They greeted us (everyone literally greeted us as we walked in), asked how everything was, checked up and asked if we needed refills on our water. Amazing. Id definitely be back the next time we visit CA.

Athentic food and service.Everyone was so kind.There is a lot of fresh assorted meat in the pho!! I am gonna recommend this place to my family and friends!

When we arrived it was crowded but there were enough space to be seated. Menu is not big but they do provide dishes for people who don’t eat meat. Their prices are very reasonable for nowadays. The broth was ok but didn’t have a strong flavor. The spring rolls and the peanut sauce were fantastic. Staffs were very efficient and friendly. They also provide free hot/ iced tea, and children little pho. You almost don’t need to wait after ordering.

The Short rib with bone Pho was absolutely wonderful!!! The Oxtail was great as well. We also had the Vermicelli noodle with grilled shrimp and pork, which was also delicious. You must try this place!

Phở 45 opens at 8am, so if youre up early and want some phở, this spot is not bad. Staff was very friendly. They provided us with the menu and was quick to ask what we would like to order. Staff didnt mind waiting for us to take our time. We had #1 with Vietnamese coffee on the side. They loaded the herbs with Thai basil, saw-tooth, bean sprouts, lime and jalapeños. I love any phở restaurant that provides all those herbs necessary for a bowl of phở. The #1 was loaded with meats as well. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 was because the meats didnt seem as fresh. The sliced beefs seemed like sliced beef that I purchase from the frozen section of the grocery store. But overall, soup flavor was okay. I love Vietnamese coffee, so at a new place, I had to try it. The coffee was bitter and not too sweet, but theres a hint of something in it that I still cant figure out. Coffee was tasty.

The food is so good and the service is amazing. You will definitely get your moneys worth here with the extra meat they give you go a good price.

Great pho. Fab service. Brought my toddler and they automatically brought a small bowl of pho and scissors to cut up the noodles as we were looking through the menu. Really thoughtful. The prices was also really reasonable and the portions were so generous.

Im from out of town, was in the area, and had been wanting to eat Pho. This place was rated better than other places on google maps. The food did fall a bit short of our expectations. The fish sauce in the broth was a little strong, they had chicken pho and another chicken dish, but they didnt have a chicken BBQ plate. The fried spring roll was a little mushy inside. The shrimp summer roll was ok, the accompanying peanut sauce was surprisingly on the bland side.The seating felt a little crowded, we came with a big group, 13, and they split us up at 3 different tables not near enough to have any conversations with each other. We couldve waited a little for some tables to open up near each other but they just put us in anywhere.They have one restroom/storage room. My daughter and I were waiting in line to use it when the occupant came out and stood in the doorway and waited for his wife to come from their table and use it next. (rude)

Service here was great! Food was given to us with alot of care. Taste was great for the pho. The sate taste added alot of flavor and garlic to your broth but was not super spicy and was just right. Coffee is pretty damn good too. I recommend getting the coffee here. Very well priced at under 29.00 dollars here in expensive california. This is a great contender for an every day eats type of restaurant. They even have li xi envelopes for you to buy. 5.00 for 10 . And honestly they look hella cool to give to children

Northern style pho. One of our fav place for a quick pho soup. Mainly beef version but comes as chicken pho too.There are other dishes also beside pho soups.Basic restaurant, fast service and good food.
