My experience here was great. The food was very delicious and I enjoyed it. I came here with a friend and he got the Egg Rolls and I got the Beef, Shrimp, and Broccoli. The food was amazing and the flavors were very nice. We visited 2 hours before closing. The food is affordable, the environment was clean, and the staff was really nice. I’d visit here again.
Been coming here for years, usually get their Chicken pho ga with pork eggrolls and have tried other dishes too. Love the Pho cause its quick, healthy, fresh, and hot. Great for cold days. Comes with basil, white roots (of some kind), jalapeños & lime. I squeeze the lime in and add everything inside. Not much added seasoning, I love the natural tastes. The eggrolls are good, always tasty and crispy outside. The staff is efficient, and the place is well kept. You do have to heat up the soup if you take it to go depending how far you have to drive. Its Located in a plaza with parking there.
The pho is so great wow, probably one of the best I’ve had.Really delicious, noodles were perfect :) only thing is beef is a little on the thicker cut size making it a bit harder to chew. None the less a must visit :) staff are nice and place is clean.

Weve been coming here for over 15 years. But havent been here since Covid. The service was very fast we didnt have to wait to get seated and tables were clean. The food was good except the peanut sauce for the spring roles didnt taste peanutty. I think they added vinegar or something.

It’s tasty, yes, but my food arrived raw and cold. Pouring broth in did nothing to warm the bowl and even with microwaving the meat did not cook and I had to remove it. Maybe better to eat in than take out.
Well at first everything wasnt bad and I have been coming here for years...but today I came here with my family and my nephew found a roach in his soup I was very upset because Roaches Carry lots of bacteria and can carry disease they changed his soup but its probably from the same big pot that they made in the back so doesnt really make it better very disappointed in this place...just keep on eye on ur food if you come and eat here

Food is real good, great prices. Service is a bit on the slow side though. We ordered two bowls of pho and some fried egg rolls. The pho broth is rich and a little on that fatty side come pared to other places Ive been too. We ordered some fruit boba drinks on the way out. The drinks use real fruit (or at least taste like it), but the boba wasnt that great. Workers were friendly and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. They close at midnight, so its a great late eats place.

The best vietnamese restaurant ever!!!! The prices are inexpensive. Where can you find a huge bowl of Pho for $8-9? The size is literally big. For normal size adult its enough for lunch or dinner. Their boba smoothies are awesome. The price is only $3.5 with boba included. I definitely recommend this place to eat.

Went in on a chilly Friday night around 8pm. There was a crowd inside the main entrance and some people hanging out outside. We figured we will be here a while, and we were....EATING!They have a take a number system so you dont have to see a host or put your name down.Our number was called within 10 minutes and they sat us in between other parties of 2 at a long table.Waitress came by took our orders and in under 12 minutes, our Pho was in front of us smelling so pleasant and tasting so yummy.I went with their #1, about 5 cuts of beef in it with an earthy beef flavor broth. My wife chose the beef stew, which had a stronger beef broth and beef shank meat.For dessert, an iced tea boba.10/10 for prompt service, flavor of food, ambience and being well organized at checkout.Will definitely be back and Im bringing a crowd!
The combo pho was absolutely perfect! I got side of extra veggies which I was very surprised of because it was a great amount of veggies unlike what you get at most places. The service was great, very quick. It was my first time there but will definitely go back when Im in the neighborhood. I recommend this place! Oh and the prices are perfect.

The best pho BUT they need an Air conditioner it is too hot for pho in the summer without AC! Please get an AC otherwise I wont be back until the winter. It just became a seasonal restaurant to me unless they get AC like other pho places! The fan is not enough!

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place recently and it was a complete let down. We told them we wanted takeout and then decided to eat inside anyway, assuming our food would be hot and ready to eat since we just received it. However when we ate we realized it was cold and the soup base was barely even warm. We told the employee that our food was cold and he explained to us that usually when people order takeout, they take their food home and heat it up in a microwave… He also said “if you eat it here you’ll get the best flavor…” I have never received food from a restaurant that was already cold, and had the restaurant assuming we would take it home and heat it up in a microwave. It should’ve been ready to eat regardless if it was takeout or not. What if we had been planning on eating our food in the car? The pho was also pretty mid even after it was heated up. The noodles were almost like top ramen noodle packet quality. Complete letdown.
My friends have been telling me about this place for months but since Im in DTLA - I have been hesitant to travel all the way out to just get Pho. But boy was I wrong. The food here was fantastic (at least the #19 Large and Spring rolls) and well worth the trip. So glad I made the trip and Ill be coming back again

1st going and I will be back because the veggie broth veggie pho soup was delicious ... it was room temperature however since I ordered to go and had to drive with it in my car Im very grateful it was room temperature and not hot.. the soup is soo good it can be eaten room temperature or hot and customer service is outstanding.

The pho here is delicious, one of the best bowls Ive had, but by far my favorite thing is the bun bo hue. Its not super spicy but it does have some nice heat to it, the meat is always tender and the broth is so flavorful. The noodle texture is perfect. I load mine up with basil and add all the jalapeños they give. Anytime Im feeling under the weather or have a sore throat I get this and I always feel better. I also get the pork spring rolls which are delicious and the Thai iced tea always slaps as well.
I ordered from UberEats. Great driver and on time. Not a good assembly of the food. CROSS CONTAMINATION!!! The meat was uncooked, and mixed in with the cooked meat. Not a way to treat customers.
Im not sure why this restaurant has over 1000s of reviews--its greatly overrated.When I got in, I seated myself and had to wait for about 10 minutes with no one taking my order until I waved down one of the workers. Surprisingly, I still didnt get my order through since the worker went to wait another table, all the mean while the owner was sitting a few feet away doing nothing.The pho wasnt even that good and it was bland. I asked for beef broth for my chicken pho and they brought out chicken broth. I dont know who they think theyre cooking for but they wouldnt even address the problem I raised.The clientele seem to all be Hispanics and maybe one or two Asian people in the restaurant eating: Huge red flag in my opinion.
The pho soup here is some of the best around. I always order extra protein with a Thai tea. This place is friendly and the servers are nice. Can go wrong on a cold day.

I was in the Van Nuys area and i was craving pho so i decided to give this place a try... Sorry to say but Im very disappointed by the lack of quality food.. almost no service.. and high prices for no quality food.. the dining area was very old and depressing.. over all not a good experience @ Pho 999 Van Nuys.. i definitely would not recommend this restaurant...
The atmosphere is okay, but the place isnt completely treated like an actual restaurant. You seat yourself, get someones attention that youre there to eat, and grab a menu. I ordered a vegetable pho and a Thai iced tea with boba. The tea was served warm and the boba was mushy. The vegetable pho was delicious, but I wish I didnt ask for tofu to be included. Ask you can see in the picture, the tofu looks very dry, shriveled up, and old. I took that out of the pho immediately, and everything else tasted great. You can tell that this is one of those places where the food would be an A+, if only there was a little more care and effort added into their dishes.

As soon as you walk into Pho 999 you know you’re in for a treat.The interior of Pho 999 is somewhat sparse and eclectic with the large fish tank and custom neon sign. You can sense right away this is a store that has been doing something right for a long time to be able to still be open.What was really striking was the speed everything was brought out in, nearly as fast if not faster than the time it took from entering to ordering. The flavors of the broth are clean and rich while the fresh accoutrements help add a depth of flavor that makes this dish perfect. The fried spring rolls with the fresh greens and hoisin made a great pairing & a perfect appetizer.This will remain as one of my top pho places, perfect to stop by to boost your immunity or warm up when the weather gets cold.

Absolutely fantastic! It was very busy at Sunday lunch. But we were very well treated. And the food was delicious. My first time here but I will absolutely be back. The menu is extensive, so many varieties. I can make a career out of coming back and trying everything on the menu. And I may very well do that. The servings are good-sized and very fairly priced. Plus theres a parking lot! Its not fancy, but it is a great joint. If youre in the area and looking for some good soup, go here you wont be sorry.

Consistently delicious food at a friendly price. Servers are polite and prompt. We have been patrons for over 8 years and have rarely been let down by the service nor the quality of their food. Generous portions makes for a full belly and some delicious leftovers to take home. Definitely a taste of authentic homey tasting Pho. Not the fanciest in decor but still a low key spot for some scrumptious egg rolls and invigorating soups with your choice of noodles.
Im still learning more about the Pho experience and Im glad to say this pho experience was really good. I finished all of it and it was delicious down to the last drop. I left that bowl clean! The food portion is massive, and the price is so low and yet you still get so many flavors provided at the table. It is a perfect spot for those cold nights. Theyve got a system down and you can clearly tell theyve got years of experience running this place. Kudos!
Pho 999 is an excellent hole in the wall Vietnamese restaurant in Van nuys on the corner of Sepulveda and Victory.Ive been coming here for many years.Its a decent sized restaurant in a big mini strip mall. Its usually pretty busy with a a large Vietnamese customer base. The food is very authentic and delicious. Every time I order I usually get my meal within 5 minutes, fast!!I typically get #1 Pho which is the combo Pho. The portions are very large and the price is very reasonable.I also get the spring rolls and the egg rolls which both are incredibly good.This place used to be open till 12:00 midnight and now its only open till 9:00 p.m. I would go more often when it was open till 12:00 midnight and hopefully soon they will extend their hours.If youre looking for an authentic Vietnamese spot I would say this is it.Ive been here maybe 60 times and Ive never been disappointed.Good food, good price, good service.
Pho was delicious. Very quick service though. Feels like they are trying to rush you out. Hence 4⭐I got the well done brisket and steak Pho with extra meat and the egg rolls. All very good!
According to my experience and in my opinion, this is arguably the best pho place in Southern California. Ive tried many places and its hard to beat the authentic fresh taste, consistent quality, and good price of Pho 999. Keeps you coming back for more. AND THEY ARE CLEAN. Its a clean place which is important to me. They are also generous with the portion and condiments. And you get your food fast but its still so incredibly fresh. Praises and thanks to the Lord for this place, and praises to everyone who operates Pho 999. They do an incredible job in my opinion.

I really enjoyed the food here. The restaurant is in a strip mall, not at all fancy and slow service. But the food was great! The meat was especially well grilled and flavorful.I had the roast pork with an egg/ground pork loaf and those were delicious. The cold noodles were a little odd but I found it tasty, filling, and reasonable.Now, my friend whos a self proclaimed Vietnamese food fanatic said it was just ok but Id recommend it and will return.

While I had the card on me, I think whether I am vaccinated or whether I have the card on me should not be relevant when I’m simply trying to eat

With the awful LA summer heat coming in, finding some fresh, well prepared, satisfying food can be super difficult. Their beef vermicelli and egg rolls were a perfect heavy but fresh lunch after bussing errands all over the valley. Super reasonable prices, laid back but fast service, and delicious. Straight up, best Vietnamese food I have ever had. This place is an absolute gold mine. Super nice people, food was ready in less than 5 minutes, packaged up perfectly and everything was perfect. Pho broth was hot and insanely good and flavorful. Rare steak was amazing and the toppings came packaged so well. The spring rolls are delicious and their boba is also really great. I was blown away, if you’re into Vietnamese food you gotta eat here. Also the prices are really inexpensive especially for the high quality of food! Will definitely be returning often

What i always find amazing that no one has really mentioned in the review section is that whenever I order food I get the food really fast and I mean like fast and it tastes great. customer service is pretty much non-existent everyone keeps to themselves and no one speaks really good English and theyre kind of like whatever there is no high welcome! or Hi how are you? or hi can I take your order.... just are you ready? but I guess they kind of make up for that in the speed and the taste of the food but again thats just my experience

The Pho was really tasty & priced just right - just what I needed on a cold winter evening. It was so perfect I didnt even mind the seating which is very communal its rows of tables and chairs so you end up seating very close to other diners and you dont have much privacy, you also have to walk up to the cashier to pay your bill, I guess they keep things moving pretty quickly like this so this isnt the type of place you come to - to catch up with a friend. Great for a quick or late night meal. Theyre open till midnight
I love me some pho, and I only get it from Pho 999! I love their Reseda location as well, but this one is much closer to home. Hubby usually orders the #1 and I usually order the #50. Sometimes we get a side order of egg rolls. Their service is FAST! You can call your order ahead by 10 minutes and itll be ready for you by the time you arrive. Their flavor is always consistent and I love the portion sizes. Their prices are also reasonable and affordable. Ive been a fan since day one and will continue to give Pho 999 my business! They are simply the best!

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in The Valley! My family and I have been coming here since the late 1990’s. We typically go for pho, but they have an extensive menu. Everything we’ve ordered has been nothing short of amazing.I’ve been ordering for pick up/delivery ever since COVID-19, but I still highly recommend this place. You will not regret anything off of their menu! Everything is fresh and the quality of their food is great. I’m glad that they’re still open during the pandemic, so please go support this local restaurant!
Spring rolls tasted rancid, sauces were so watery. took them back but it was never put on my check, so that was nice. The womens restroom was a complete mess. I could barely wash my hands in there. Tables are separated, and have a temperature monitor at the front. With all that being said. the pho was really good here.
I am a regular here but today I was very disappointed that I drove 30 miles to get there to have an employee that I have never seen before tell me at 9:21 that they take the last orders at 9:15 and would not let me order my usual Pho Tai. Not a nice person! Didnt even suggest that he could make it to go! What an A hole!

Been coming here for years. You can have some of the best Pho in the valley, plus many other Vietnamese dishes that are certainly able to please. It can get busy, but for good reason. This place is too good to not be busy. Make sure you order using the numbers in the menu, as accents from the employees can be a bit daunting.
The food was good enough, but the waiter was the worse I have ever had and I eat out a few times a week. He didnt speak much English. There were a few menu items that looked identical to me, so I asked him what the differences were. His response was, Im sorry. Im very busy. He kept trying to tell me to order something else that was not what I wanted and then he walked away without answering my questions or taking my order. When he came back, I tried to ask my questions again. This time, he said, Ill give you a to-go menu (to take a look at) for next time.To me, service is the most important thing, even more important than the price or the food. Ive worked at a restaurant before and Ive worked retail before and both the restaurant and the store I worked at were far busier than this one any day of the week and we would never get away with rude service. Being busy is no excuse for rude service. This was my first time at this restaurant and I will never go there again and I will tell my 652,000 YouTube viewers the same.

Great Food at a Great Price. Really excellent Pho, Bun and rice. I eat lunch here 2-3 days/wk because they are really fast, the food is always good and I good lunch is about $10. Only reason its not 5 star is because there is better Vietnamese food out there but its more expensive.
Great food and service. The garlic noodles are super fresh and garlicky and the Vietnamese coffee is made fresh to order. The pho taste clean and hits the spot. The restaurant is super clean and simple. Also, the staff is super nice and friendly.
Im no Vietnamese food expert. But I came to this restaurant for the first time today. The place was packed to the gills with people, and this was during a weekday at lunch time. Full of Asians too. To me this is a sign if authentic Vietnamese food. My wife and I enjoyed our lunch very much. As I said before Im no expert in this cuisine, but it was very good and very affordable. I will be coming back here again to eat.
Yes, pho places are a dime a dozen, but I love this one. The food always comes out fast and tastes fresh. The pho broth is excellent, and I always finish it with the noodles, meat, and veggies coming out perfectly even. If I want a break from pho, their other dishes (of which there are plenty) are fabulous too. Prices are also super reasonable.
I like their Charbroil pork with egg rolls with minced noodle dish very tasty, not all Vietnamese restaurant have this dish .Not expensive .I believe this restaurant have quite a bit repeat customers .Lot of people order over the phone and go to pick up .
If I could rate this zero stars I would. Dont waste your time or money coming here. You are much better off going to pho so 1 across the street. I came in to this place and sat myself as there was no one there to sit you. once seated I had to ask for a menu. It took about 15 minutes for some one to take my order. Once I ordered I got my appetizer in about 10 minutes which is not bad. The bad part was it took about 45 minutes and me complaining in order for me to get my food. And no it wasnt busy. Other people were getting their food before me that came in after. Food wasnt that great.
The host are server’s are so rude when I was there for dine in. They ignored me when I asked for condiments and they over all have bad attitude. Another I call to place an order for pick up and they hung up on me beck asked to substitute the egg roll with a veggie roll!! Horrible service! I will never spend any $ here again.
The food here is fantastic! The ambience is a bit lacking and the personalities of some the staff are odd, but I know it is just a cultural difference. I love getting my Pho noodle bowls here.

Do not confuse this place with the Reseda location. From the customer service to the food, the Reseda location is 1000 times better than the Van Nuys location. At VN the noodles in the Pho were different, the spring rolls were old and smaller and at Reseda they have this amazing red chili oil that goes perfectly with the Pho. When I asked for this at VN, they just looked at me and pointed at the bottle of siracha on the table. This is sad because I have been going to this location for over 10 years and only found the Reseda location because of VN but since the reopening from the pandemic, this place is trash. GO TO RESEDA and ask for the oil chili and the char beef spring rolls...youll thank me later!
I have been going here for over 6 years. It is by far my favorite pho place. They have a great menu, great food, late hours, lots of parking, and good prices. They have not raised their prices in the 6 years I have been going and they are absolutely wonderful. I have moved 3 times and still keep coming back to this location. I highly recommend the rare steak pho and a thai iced tea.
Michael the manager made my first visit a five star experience. I didnt look at the menu as I knew what I wanted and ordered the wrong thing by accident. He was accommodating and pleasant. Oh and the Pho was delicious!! I am from England but I will be back!
I simply looove the shrimp phó here. I also love how fast your food is taken to you and the price is significantly cheap for a great tasting phó. Almost always you get seated quickly but the place is a bit on the smaller side so it can fill up quickly but also contributes to the cozy feeling. Weve ordered three times for delivery. Every time they failed to acknowledge our request on comment section. Theyve missed things with each order. This time they missed soup toppings and our request on the comment section was completely ignored. This is our last as they do not value customer service one bit.
Was driving through and came by here based on the reviews. Price is very cheap but the Pho was mediocre. Broth wasnt very good like other authentic pho restaurant. The noodles were hard and they didnt have fatty brisket. I havent tried any of their other dishes, but not very impressed with their pho.
I dont know if I ordered the wrong thing to try for my first time having pho.I did not like the broth or meat I had the beef with egg noodles. It had a very distinct smell the meat also tasted bad. I also had the egg rolls they were ok. Also had the spring rolls not bad.
This is my go to Pho Spot. The chicken dish #104 is tasty and their porkchop is my all time favorite 😋. I order from here regularly and especially now during Covid, its great to support my local mom and pops. Will be back again...and again.
Very good & authentic pho. I love this place. Everyone working here is also very nice & friendly. The price you pay is almost unbelievable for the quality & portion you get.
One of the owners,/supervisors was extremely rude. Had an earphone piece in one ear. Glared me down from the moment I walked in. Didnt show common courtesy.Other than that, food was good and service was quick.
The food here is good. I love their Pho and also their marinated chicken. The service is alright so dont expect a friendly kiss ass service. They focus more on getting your food to you right away which is good enough for me.
Not great pho but decent. Im Chinese and from the San Gabriel Valley area. Ive been here twice so take this with a grain of salt. (I plan on revising this later on.) The first time I went, it was nothing to write home about. We ordered the Pho Special and fried egg rolls. The second time we just order the Pho Special. It was way better than the first time. The portions are good for one person, not huge like some places. I will go back to this place again if Im in the area because pho place here are limited. (I didnt give it a 4 because there are way better places in San Gabriel.)

One of the best pho in the valley, the broth has good flavor. portions of soups are big for the value. the place get busy, parking is very limited since its in a plaza with other restaurants and stores.
I love this place because they give you a lovely amount of beansprouts and thai basil with your pho and their broth is deliciously salty. When I am sick or cold, I crave pho and I get it here. Parking is never a problem. Sometimes it gets busy but turn around for a seat is fast. You pay at the counter. They have boba there but I havent tried it. Their spring rolls are pretty good too. Staff has always been attentive and quick.
Very good food! The chicken Pho was perfect and the veggie egg rolls are quite satisfying. Service is a little slow... Maybe because he is like 80+ lol... Still worth it!
The 5 stars are for the Pho not the service. I can overlook the service here and the Pho place across the street. Either place you can get a delicious bowl of Pho. Hits the spot each and every time !
Awful. Tepid. No hot oil. Biggest Dodger game of the year and guy turns off TV @ 9:05 because they close at 9, meanwhile there’s still enough people eating that they can’t close for another 20 minutes. Horrible attitude. He’s been cranky before about orders.
Best Pho Ive tried! Simple and fast service altho not very friendly but thats something that comes with the culture I would think. I picked #19 (Rare beef) with all the fixings. For been a weekend the place was not crowded. Located in a corner shopping center with several other business with a large parking area. I would like to come back and try other plates and menu items. The quality of the food is worth visiting the place
Certainly not the quality of food that was expected at this establishment. Food was over cooked and had a nauseating aroma. Walking to the bathroom got a glimpse of the kitchen, was in shambles. People eating to the side of us had a roach in their childs meal. Our food was refunded needless to say we wont be returning.
Really good Pho! Had a #3 with flank steak and tripe. Good eggrolls too in plum sauce. Generous portions and a good price too. You can make a bowl of Pho large for an extra dollar and do add-ins like extra meat, seafood, or other toppings.

I dont give five stars for one reason: I do t expect to spend 50 dollars in 4 soups. Ive been in Chinatown and with that money tou can eat a lot in one of the restaurant in Chinatown LA. Nothing amazing for the price. Expensive.
Food is great, though sometimes when it gets very busy quality of foods and drinks goes down slightly. Got served a water mango boba due to too much ice. My family and I have visited this place for years however, and its probably just a one time slip-up.
Very quick service and wonderful staff. if its your first time they wont mind answering your questions. i recommend tasting the broth before going ham with the lime and sauces. appreciate the broth--they take HOURS to make it. the fresh basil gives it a fresh taste! make sure to ask for some nuoc beo if youre feeling saucy--not recommended for people with high cholesterol lmao
The food was on point. Cooked well, flavorful, and a huge menu to choose from. I got the catfish plate they had. The flavor was so good, but so subtle. Very surprised this place was so good.
It’s currently 1 am in the morning and I have been throwing up all night. The pork looked and tasted weird. Not to mention it was super unsanitary inside.
Always good all dishes / menu options are fantastic- 7 course beef choice is so good and with beer ! must try if u have never tried this choice better for 2 more persons dish
Reliably good pho. Fairly large selection of other Vietnamese dishes. In a tiny strip-mall with okay amount of parking. Gets really busy around lunch time. Good prices.
The house special Pho is delicious! Broth is pretty comparable to my usual place. The flavors of pork chop & beef was quite good too!
Food is great, I just wish the serving stuff could speak English or some Spanish. I tried to order extra noodles and I think noodles in English translate to catfish in his language.
Love the food and service, have not had a bad experience yet.. dishes are fresh very large and yummy. Have not had good pho like this since my last visit back home to NYC.

Previously gave this place 4 stars but I am seriously never coming here again. They are supposedly open until midnight but beware, they will turn you away at any time even when the place is full of people.Came here several weeks ago & got turned away at 11:35pm. Tonite is Sat. night Thanksgiving weekend, got here at 11:30pm. The place is packed with people and they said theyre closed. We drove all the way from Camarillo to the Valley to get Pho.Including the attitude we got from the wait staff, its just not worth the frustration to come here anymore. These people dont have a clue as to how frustrating it is to their customers when they dont keep the hours they say.There are a lot of good late nite pho places in the Valley & in Ktown. Save the aggravation and skip this place for late night pho.
Excellent pho located in an unassuming strip mall. Great for those rainy days we’ve been having. Service is excellent once they recognize your face so come often and get to know them.

We drive about 30 mins to this place bc Santa Clarita just cant beat it. Weve been coming for almost 10 yrs. Food quick and tasty. And they are generous with limes and extra sides.

The best Korean noodle soil with pork and what not. Once you receive your platter you start to add some mint leaves that is all ready supplied with Brussels sprouts, and to top it off just with just enough hot sauce. Amazing and very filling.
Chicken Pho was lousy. Chicken was tuff/chewy/not cooked enough. Don’t waste your money.

Dont order a soda and assume youll get free refills, like every restaurant in America; they charge for each glass seperately :O The food is like any other Vietnamese place but the boba smoothies are great.

Pho 999 has really tasty food. Love the Pho with brisket and i add beef balls. Also have had a few of the chicken plates and so good. The place gets super packed towards the evening to prepare to wait a few minutes. They also have a variety of boba drinks. I usually get thai iced tea or jasmin both great. Id definitely recommend Pho 999.
My absolute favorite place in the Valley to get pho or Vietnamese food. Dont expect your average customer service. This place has typical Asian customer service, which basically means, you have to accept the way your served and be thankful, smiles are a rarity, and youll be served in the order they see fit. Complain, and suffer the consequences. No one that works there cares that you need a refill on your water or that you need more nuoc mum. So if youre ok with all of that, be prepared for a nice Vietnamese meal. Parking is usually pretty easy here. Food comes out quickly. This place is definitely affordable. I recommend this place, whole-heartedly. In fact, Ill go with you....

Delicious food, good and fast service. On occasion I like to have pho (especially when the weather is overcast). This restaurant offered the chicken pho soup with white meat. Perfection! I will definately be a return customer.

The food is okay and cheap. The ambience is odd, I have never seen a Vietnamese restaurant decorated like this. Also, they have one instrumental background music that plays on loop, driving me crazy.
Food was great and service was super quick. I dont think we were sitting for more than 5 minutes before the food was ready. Parking was tricky but I would definitely come again.
I made a phone order. It came cold the meat is supposed to cook in the soup. I don’t know if they sent me someone else’s order but definitely was not fresh.
I love pho 999! The number one and 13 are some of my personal favorites from this large and diverse menu, but almost anything you get here is good, the boba is prime and the soup is hot!
Authentic vietnamese grub. With service so fast youll almost be eating pho before you sit down. The broth has excellent flavor and the ingredients are all incredibly fresh. Lots of condiments to spice up your pho to your liking. Dont let the strip mall fool you, this is some of the best pho Ive ever had.
This is one of the first pho places that I have been to. This place isnt bad at all and have decent prices when it comes to their pho. They also have hot foods so if youre not up for soup, you can look at their hot menu. They also have boba there and slushies so youre not just stuck ordering water and/or soda.
Stopped by for lunch. No line but most of the seats were full. We waited about 15 min and no one acknowledged us. We saw 1 staff behind the counter and no other employees. We eventually just walked out.
The best Pho 999 in the valley. My preference over Pho So 1, though if you supposedly want great Pho only, Pho So 1 is your place. Otherwise, opens late and love the atmosphere.

This is the only PHO restaurant to go to if youre in Van Nuys ! always busy, only because its that good and authentic! There arent so many Vietnamese restaurants in valley that serves the 7 course beef meals !

We went to eat with my husband and my two kids on feb 14 like at 8pm a young lady took our order and we got our table right behind the entrance and we order she brought us the soy beans foe the soup she brought my husbands soup and then 10 min passed and I still didnt have my soup and our eggs rolls but it was fine for the same girl who sat us down and took our order to bring the other customers food right away when they only had like 4 min there and we had almost 40 mins and nothing I had no soup no egg rolls but the other tables that she took that just got there they had their egg rolls and soups and drinks and us nothing this was my favorite place to go but not any more it sucks cuz it was a really good place so we ended up going across the streets which the gave us a table took our order and they brought it within 4 mins after taking our orders and it was way busy there than here on pho 999 it sucks

2023-11-18 01:40:02I usually go to Pho So 1 across the street but they open 1 hour earlier, and I haven’t been here in years so I wanted to give this place another go.The broth is a less flavorful for me at least compared to Pho So 1, but still overall a great bowl of pho and great portions of meat. I ordered the #1 combo.My bowl was pretty big and I they also offer a large bowl for a little more money.

Food was decent, and egg rolls were amazing. Liked their Vietnamese coffee too! Would revisit when Im around the area.

2023-12-04 23:05:25I have had many pho places but this place was the worst I’ve had. Don’t let the good reviews fool you.The food here is not tasty or clean. The soup wasn’t very hot and flavorful. And when you walk in the restaurant feels and is dirty. Last week someone found a roach in there soup. A week after my friend got food poisoning. Egg rolls are cold and are the frozen kind. I do not recommend this place at all.

2023-04-18 20:31:15Inflation is real! While the pho soup base is of decent quality, the value unfortunately, just isnt there. I paid $12.50 for the extra large which at many other Vietnamese restaurants would be maybe a regular or large. There were 6 slices of rare steak (which is pretty much par for course), two pieces of tendon, two or three smallish pieces of tripe, three or so slices of brisket and flank steak.

2022-11-07 04:42:53This is my favorite pho place in the Valley. There are a lot of good ones, but this one is easy to get to, close to the 101 and 405, right across the street from 99 Ranch. The food is great and the service is quick. Its not as clean and modern as some might like (especially the bathrooms), but the food is great.

The pho noodles smell, egg rolls came out cold, meat quality is terrible(rubberish), and overall atmosphere of this restaurant is very old and dirty. Not to mention the only meal I had for the day was this pho place and got food poisoning!!! I feel so sick right now…. Highly WOULDN’T recommend coming to this place! You couldn’t pay me to come dine here! Save your money, time, and health! Ruined the rest of my night! Very upset!!

Coffee was good. Food is tasty. Pricing was fair. They gave us a huge lime spice :). Fast food service. What else to ask for ☺️
