We often have lunch in this place with a partner. Always clean and cozy. Cooked very tasty. The dishes that we order can be seen in the photo. Polite and attentive staff. I recommend it to everyone.)

Great tasting Vietnamese food here. We stopped by for a quick lunch ordering pho and rice dishes. Place wasn’t very busy and a few tables were closed to keep social distancing for customers.Waiter and waitress are very nice and friendly also refilling our water several times.Being next door to a gym is good too. Folks working out can stop by to replenish their calories.

Big portions! My bun was good. My mother said the pho has improved. Service wasnt great. Sporadic and unattentive. Its probably a good place for the neighborhood but not one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Sacramento.

Hands down the best pho in my neighborhood. The broth is fantastic & is served piping hot. The salt & peppered eggplant is very good. I enjoy it with a side of sweet & sour sauce. The Peking Pork ribs has a sweet glaze & is finger licking good. As it heats up, the strawberry shake is one of my favs as well as the vermicelli bowls with grilled pork & chicken. Fast & friendly service. Prices are affordable and portion sizes are big enough for sharing. Great for take or dine in. Parking gets a bit crazy in this plaza so try parking around back. Theres a back door entrance to Hoa Viet so you dont have to walk all the way around to the front.

Wow havent been here in a while I got the large bowl of pho which was quiet small for 9.50. Flavor has changed since and portion for the peeking spare ribs were so tiny. Smh will not return due to quality of food.

The Pho itself was pretty OKAY, to say the least. It was not bad. But it wasnt spectacular either. I had to fix it to my liking, of course, but I had to ask for many of the condiments they didnt have on the table.There were no napkins either, so I had to ask for those, too.Overall, pretty meh experience.

Great place for pho and other Asian food. I love the pho there it tasted great alone without any added sauce. Head up for the size of bowl for pho. The large bowl is more of a medium to me and the extra large bowl is more of a large. But the overall pho tastes very good. I would recommend it for you if you are a pho lover like me.The bathroom is clean! Great job 👏.

The food is usually good. Really not sure whats going on at this location but my last order was a complete fail. I have been coming to this location for years and order the same thing everytime, so I am will aware how the food should look and taste. Both orders of rare steak #12 was extremely disappointing! The broth was bitter, basil was brown, the green onions were slimy and rotten, there were no white onion pieces, or hot pepper slices and the noodles were soggy. I guess I was supposed too pay $27 for two orders and NOT notice ingredients missing.

In case you guys didn’t know, there is a new owner now for a year almost two. Their pho broth is salty and very little portion. I gave them a second chance with the salt and pepper shrimp and the shrimp were small shrimps, doesn’t come with head and it’s not big anymore. I used to work at this location with the past owners and things were a lot different. I’m not going to lie, it’s going to be my last time ordering here.

The beef noodle soup was not good at all and too pricey. Compared to other restaurants, the meat was so little especially for the price. It looked like they ran out of meat or somethings . Only 2 or 3 junk pieces in the bowl.So disappointed, this was the first and last time for me here.

I love this place. Today was different. I always order the same plate, charbroiled pork and instead of white rice I ask for fried rice, they charge me for it and thats okay. Today a rude employee told me that is not possible. At first I thought maybe hes new, so he asked in the kitchen and apparently they said is not possible. We leave the restaurant. Ill give them another try because is my only bad experience but Im disappointed.

Beef stew broth was good. There wasn’t hardly any meat. The few pieces were all fat. I asked for chili oil and got 2 packets of sriracha chili sauce, not what I had in mind. Luckily it didn’t need it. The pork spring rolls were the worse. The peanut sauce has no taste of peanuts… straight up teriyaki sauce. Salty. The spring rolls/sauce went to the trash. Good thing they are cheap. Pickup was odd. I waited for someone to take my money and give me my order. 2 waitresses looked right at me and ignored me. I had to call out to a guy sitting on the floor eating to take my payment. He was annoyed. I usually go to the Stockton Blvd location and regretted going to the one closer to my house. They are NOT the same. 👎

We came here because its close to home and it has great ratings on egg rolls, the kids love egg rolls and when we get back the Mrs lets the kids dig in not realizing how utterly burnt and blackened they were nothing like the pictures, ok I call to tell them about it the guy says fine, I even offer to bring in the rest of the egg rolls to show to him, he didnt seem to mind. However when I arrive to the restaurant I walk towards the register, the guy from the phone spots me and tells me five minutes then a lady sitting in the booth closest the kitchen with her children - Im guessing the boss says something to him in another language them he tells me he will replace the remainder not the rest. So I says to him you dont mind selling burnt egg rolls I mean I wasnt eating them, the kids were. He agreed hesitantly and the woman refused to acknowledge me after and sat in disapproval, when he gave me the food he stuck his hand out looked away and waited for me to take it, I guess I wont be coming back here, I just opened the new egg rolls they still arent quality, wontons were very good

Great service but the food was not so good. Ordered some fried rice with pork; it had almost no flavor. The broth of the Pho also did not have much flavor. Spring rolls only had rice lettuce and slice of pork, which had no flavor either. I guess it depends on what you order. Not sure Ill be going back.

First time here but I love the other hoa viet so I figured Ill give it a try. Taste was ok but portion size was very small. We ordered the large pho and it was way smaller than any large Ive ever had. It was more like a size small. The other dishes that came out were small too. My biggest complaint is the way one of the waiter treated my kids. Anyone with kids knows that they do not always sit still, however I do not need the waiter yelling at my kids to get out of the way when they clearly were not in his way. And when my kids were sitting down he yelled again MOVE KIDS!! I looked at my kids who were in their seats and then looked at him again n he was giggling to himself behind the counter. My kids arent perfect little angels but thats no way to treat em. I also witnessed him yelling at the other table when confirming their order. This will be my last time at this location...

This Pho place is the only one in the Greenhaven/Pocket area. Its menu prices carry the Greenhaven tax where its more pricey than the pho places on Stockton Blvd and the bowls are considerable smaller. The pho is only ok and the service is just barely acceptable. I get the Asian ignore a lot when I come here, but I deal with it. Theres nothing to write home about, but if you want truly good tasting pho then head out towards Stockton. If you want a quick fix, then this place will do.
