Located across the street from Pasadena City College Bahn Mi Che Cali offers the typical Vietnamese fare from eggrolls, Pho, spring rolls, vermicelli bun, rice dishes and bahn mi. The prices are a bit high due to inflation and location of the restaurant. Got the eggrolls 2 for $3 and Bbq pork bahn mi $11 out the door. The eggrolls lacked flavor but was hot and fresh, the Bbq pork bahn mi was delicious, I wish the pickled carrots brought more crunch to the sando but overall it was good. Honestly, there is no competition in the area so if you’re in the mood stop on by!P.s I decided on a baguette before I left and was appalled by the price I think it was about $2.50 I didn’t think about it much so I paid then though, what the heck? BUT….. it was well worth the price. The baguette fresh out of the over was as long as my arm!Solid 3.5 – missing stars due to lack of flavor in eggrolls, no crunch in pickled carrots, small amount of BBQ pork and high prices.

Spicy pho on a rainy day hit the spot. The portion was more than ample and very delicious. There were a lot of self-serve, fresh and crisp mung beans, basil, and limes. The hot tea was amazing. I am definitely going again or calling for take-out or delivery soon.

This is my go-to banh mi and pho stop. So reasonably priced with phenomenal deals. Also, freshly baked vietnamese donuts and sesame balls, 3 for 2 dollars??? What an amazing deal! Wish i took pictures of my food before i finished it.

Nice place and food. Quick and good service. I asked which one was good and they told me what they would order themselves. And it turned out to be good.Always love Vietnamese food’s flavor especially using US beef and ingredients. It is more tasty and flavorful than original one in Vietnam. And the portion is bigger than Asian counterpart.

Food quality has gone down. Prices are up. 6.50 for a banh mi and 12.50 for pho.Entire Banh Mi only has 1 sprig of cilantro and 2 thin slices jalapeños. Meat is skimpy and full of salty cheap pickled carrots. See attached photos.

My first time eating Bahn Mi and it was so amazing! You can tell the bread is freshly made and the beef is so flavorful and juicy too! I tried their Vermicelli noodles with chicken and it was so refreshing and yummy! Hoping to come back soon!

This place is really good and they serve a lot of things. Most of the time they are made to order so you have to wait a couple of minutes. This is usually a good go-to place for delicious Vietnamese food.HOWEVER, this happened to me 3 times already for food for take away. Ordered a dozen eggrolls recently. Came home opened my order and have 8 egg rolls. Last time 2 dozen, I received 20. I am getting short changed of egg rolls and I am not happy about it. Count your order is my next plan.

Best pho and banh mi you can find! I love this place. The Vietnamese food is excellent, inexpensive, delicious, freshly prepared, and the people are friendly. It can get busy and a little noisy, but most of the time its nice and the patrons are well behaved. Ive been here several times and will return. Highly recommend.

I was a frequent visitor to this place and I always just ordered the pho. Today I have a class at 6 so I ordered the spring rolls online and arrived there when the website showed that it was ready. No one is helping the customers. I waited for about 15 minutes to become the first one in line. Then someone who just arrived got served, and when I said I was there first, they completely ignored me. And then I waited for another 5 minutes until someone finally notice me who was standing right in front of the register for so long. In total I waited there for 20 minutes after the order was ready. I didn’t even get time to have my dinner before class. Will not be here again. By the way their spring rolls are nasty. Never had spring rolls that taste so bad.

DELICIOUS. Great food at great prices. The lemongrass tofu bánh mì was absolutely fantastic. Seasoned beautifully with extremely fresh vegetables. The showstopper, though, was the bread. The French roll was INCREDIBLY fresh and clearly still warm from the oven. I would have paid the $7 just for the bread.
