Great northern style Pho. If you want the authentic northern style Pho, which is the more traditional version, this place is the closest you can get in Vietnamtown. Service is OK, nothing stands out. The decor and atmosphere is nostalgic Hanoi. They charge 3% more if you pay credit.

Discovered this place because the other greatest hits in the plaza were packed/had long waits—and am happy to report that I’ve now come back twice.The menu is huge, spanning both soups and dry dishes, and the offerings are authentic. Most importantly, the food comes out delicious and prepared well. Their freshly squeezed juices (i.e. sugar cane) are also a nice touch.Service is organized/prompt and the atmosphere is very “Vietnam” which is a nice change-up to the kind of restaurants opening up these days.

I was having a hard time finding a good recommendation for Vietnamese restaurants. Few in Little Saigon we’re coming up more then 4.5 starts. All in all it was okay, certain food items were good others were not. Staff was very friendly. Not good enough to schedule a return strip and I will continue to search. The tamarind prawns and curry frog legs were very good. The green papaya salad not very flavorful. The escargot was not good. The Pho was standard.

This place is sooooo damn good!!! I used to go to the place cross the street and they usually are packed so my man and I went to this place. Ooooh Myyyy Gooosh their Hanoi Bun Cha was soooooo fuqin good. Hot dipping broth with bbq pork and meatballs. The vermicelli were tender and fresh. The whole combination was amazing. My man ordered combination pho bowl and he said the pho he had in the past tasted like water comparing to this. We are impressed and we will definitely keep going here and will recommend to our friends!

The service, well, I have to tell the truth,is not okay. No one took care of me when I was there, have to pay the tab at the counter and ask for water and to go bags for many times. But I give all the 4 stars for the food. The hot pot is awesome with great amount of stewed beef. Cant believe this one is only $30! Love it with all my heart and would recommend it to friends. But service is still a worry and wanna the merchant read reviews and make it faster.

Food was good. But service is very slow. They leave tables unclean for a long time after customers leave. I believe they were short staff. As much as I understand this issue, but still its still not very pleasant sitting waiting for your meal amongst all these empty tables that are not cleaned yet.

This is a pho place in name. However I do not think the pho here is special or why I come here. I come here to order the more unique Vietnamese dishes I grew up eating at home that I dont often see in restaurants. Thats where this place really shines in my opinion. Try the snails, bun Mang, or the family style rice dinner. The braised fish in claypot was very nostalgic.

The unique hot stone pot keeps the pho broth warm and tasty for a longgg time. I love how they cook the beef and they maintain the good quality time after time. I can tastes the ginger and all the herbs flavor in the meat..yum... The owner once told me to eat the pho with their house special pickled garlic.

Oh my my... absolutely delicious! The Crab Rolls are big and tasty. The Fish Soup with Dưa Chua reminds me so much of home food. Cá Kho Vũ Đại is as good as my mom used to make... Im so glad to come here. Love the sweet and attentive service... The decor is lovely with high ceiling...5.3.2019: I had to come back to this restaurant with 9 friends for a birthday and surely everyone was so impressed with the food and the service! The Chả Cá Lã Vọng was so delicious with all the herbs, Green Onions, noodles and delicious sauce. The highlight of our meal was Beef Hot Pot! The cooked meat was so tender. The fresh meat was so delicious after cooking in the broth. It came with 2 kinds of noodles: bánh phở and mì vàng.. Did I mention that the staff is so accommodating and kind? This is in my experience the best beef soup in town. Its not as known as the nearby pho but this pho tastes better, the beef is better too. I love the number one ox tail special. Will try the appetizer crab roll next time. Definitely give this a try and be your own judge!

Nice outdoor seating. Delicious Pho. Super Original Ha Noi Pho taste. Served in hot stoned bowl which, keeps the warmth very well but not too hot.They have both thin and wide Pho noodles. Wide noodles is Ha Noi style and thin noodles is Saigon style.First time I found a place that has Tai Dap - Rare Minced Filet Mignon. Now, in the Vietnam youll find some traditional Pho places still do this style to their meat, like slightly smashing on the meat to make it more juicy and soft. But of course, its not for everyone so its nice that they have it as an option.The soup is just so good!!! No msg added because if there is, youll be super thirsty right after the meal and your throat feels funny. Thin slices of ginger made the broth even better.This is a Gem! Must try Pho place if you want some true Ha Noi Pho.

Northern Vietnam cuisines. We have been here several times for their Cha Ca La Vong and Crab Eggrolls. They provide a lot of veggies with their cha ca, and we like that’s more than Thien Long. We ordered an order of Cha Ca and an order of egg roll and that was enough for 4 people.

This place has become one of my favorite vietnamese restaurants in San Jose. The food i had was really good. Theyre 8 or 9/10 comparing to when i had them in vietnam. Staffs were very friendly, always offer help when I ask them. I personally like this place more than Phở Hà Nội nearby. Not sure why its not as crowded so I was skeptical to try at first (passed by this place a couple of times), but it turns out to be a hidden gem. Food i had:- Nem cua bể- bún chả- bún ốc- bún lòngRecommend the nem cua bể. I have tried a few places and this place has the best one so far.Will come back for comfort food and try more dishes.

Worst Pho place I’ve ever tried. First, the food was mediocre and really pricy for the serving size. The wings I ordered where completely drenched in oil. Also the meat was really tough. Second, they have the worse customer service that I’ve ever experienced. The waitress was so rude. Every time we had a interaction she would either yell or roll her eyes. The environment was unwelcoming overallI really recommend those pho lovers like myself to try other places where your actually going to get your money’s worth. I mean it when I say I’ve never had such a bad experience at a restaurant.

Pho Co is terrible dont ever eat here. Poor customer service and terrible food. Me and my friends were looking for a place to eat since we were at viet town and the only resturant that was open at the time was this one (11am to 11pm). We arrived at 9:30 pm and sat in at 9:40 pm on 1/31/22. The spoons and chop sticks were really dirty. It took 15 mins for them to take our order and we never got water/beverages. The waitress said all fried appettizers were no longer served due to the time... but the table behinds us were served fried food. My boyfriend had order us some sugarcane drinks(Ill get back to this). When the server brought the garnish like lime, basil, beansprouts, etc.. the plate was wet and the garnishes were soaking wet BUT still dirty with dirt and some were already rotting. We waited 20 mins to get our pho in Korean soup bowls. Just for my boyfriend to not get his bowl of pho but only his side of raw meat (3) pieces. He told the server they forgot his bowl. They supposely acknowledged but we had to asked every server every 10 mins in the resturant where the hell his bowl was. Its legit only noodles, broth and garnish. Another thing, my friend brought their toddler and wanted scissors to cut the noodles. The staff failed to give them scissors and my friends found some on the side. Then 10 mins later, the waiter finally brings the scissors and they told him they got it. Then 2 mins later another server shows with another pair of scissors. So back to my boyfriends pho it took over 50 mins for him to receive his food. By this time everyone had finished their food. When my boyfriend got his bowl, he asked for an update on our sugarcane drinks to the waitress who took our order. She told us that they dont serve that drink at this time. (Luckily, we werent charge for the drinks or that would had been another story to add on). Now with the taste of the pho... One of my friends couldnt finish her small bowl of pho due to the taste. The broth was bland, no flavor and was cloudy as for my noodles it was over cooked while my friends noodles was undercooked and crunchy. If you go to any other pho resturant their small is the large at Pho Co. When we walked to the front to pay; the floor was slippery and dirty. The kitchen was flithy and smelt weird. Overall, this resturant is the worst pho resturant i ever tried and is overpriced ($15 per bowl) with unedible food. I wish i could I give this resturant a 0 star. This will be my first and last time coming to this resturant. Beware coming here unless you like nasty food and bad service.

I tried the stewed fish and rice per the waitresses recommendation and it was impeccable. Our food came out in a short amount of time. The atmosphere was both elegant and inviting. The service left little to be desired as our requests were met with enthusiasm and urgency. The quality of the utensils and flatware were also quite opulent.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The menu items are a bit different than what you’d find in other Vietnamese restaurants.We had the deep fried frog legs and the clams both very delicious as well as a green porridge — which was very flavorful.You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the this restaurant with the decor and menu items. They are very friendly. The only thing was that service was a bit slow — feels like they were understaffed on the night we visited. Otherwise would love to come back for their other items!

What to expect at this place.Over priced food that is as good as a cup of noodles. Long wait, their waitress can care less if you waited for more than 45 minutes. We kept on reminding the waitress that were ready to order. But was brushed off on multiple times. We ended up walking out and went to Pho 90.So what is my thoughts about this place. The food is ok, but kind of expensive ($15 for a large pho). The killer is that they say they charge a fee for DEBIT cards and then charged $1.50 to use a CREDIT card with warning. Additionally, hot tea, without refills, is $1.50. This is an otherwise fine restaurant that just nickel and dimes you and makes it not worth going. Plenty of other options in the area.

Was not happy with the waiting since we came in as a group of 5 persons for Sunday Lunch without reservation. Almost decided to go to some place else. However, They accommodated us. This restaurant is supposed to be an authentic Northern Vietnamese cuisine. I cant tell whether it was authentic or not, but I can tell its not as good as other Vietnamese dishes Ive had from other Vietnamese restaurants. At least it is clean and beautifully decorated, service is quick and courteous. Too bad that I probably wont be back. If you decide to give it a try, take a stroll along this newly developed Vietnamese mall.

In A Nutshell:-Pho Co aka Pho Hanoi or whatever, they deem to call themselves looks nice from the outside and the decor is nice on the inside...however.-The service is pretty slow, even when it was a slow day. I seated myself (while the employees were busy talking among themselves) and waited for about 5 minutes until I received a menu.-I ordered a small Pho House Special (Dac Biet) w/ regular noodles, but out comes a large bowl and soon enough they realized it was a mistake and took it away.-After my small bowl arrives and after doing my Yelp Elite job of photographing the food, I prepped the bowl of Pho w/ the veggies and sauces.-The server comes back and takes away the sauces, so I just went to another table to grab more.-The broth was good, but was better w/ more sauce.-This place is expensive ($10 for small pho and $12 for large).Overall, I have to say that their sign out front Voted Best in the Bay Area is not true according to my taste or experience. Just an average Pho spot - disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant, great food, convenient location in Vietnam Town. Pho is amazing! Authentic savory broth and the filet mignon is tender and abundant. I also appreciate they have a vegetarian page. The stir fried vegetables with Wyse noodles were amazing. Fresh noodles for all their dishes. And prices are reasonable. Strongly recommended.

Service is so bad. I went in to order a glass of kumquat coconut juice, the sellers attitude was very unpleasant, then he also sold me a glass of kumquat coconut juice. The lady made a glass of coconut water while worrying whether I would see what she was doing or not. At that time, I didnt pay attention. After having a glass of coconut water in my hand, I was very excited to try it, but when I took a sip, I realized that this was just a glass of sugar water mixed with a piece of kumquat and a few coconuts thrown in. There was no taste of coconut water, the seller was cheating, ran out of coconuts but still sold me a real glass of sugar water. People shouldnt come here. Too bad.This is the first time Ive tried “coconut kumquat” and it was horrible. It tasted like sugar and water. I wont come here again. Bad service.
