Affordable prices and a very friendly staff member. The chicken pho was delicious and the broth was light and fresh. We were provided with a lot of the standard toppings.

My daughter and I were visiting the fabric stores nearby, which I love dearly, and we both wanted pho, so we stopped by. It was quick, really bright, tasty, and wonderful food.The gentleman who helped us and took our order was so sweet and kind, and as my daughter has a service dog, we asked if he could have a bowl of water, and he brought one for him.Food was very delicious, fresh, and quick, and while it is in a strip mall, and not fancy, the tables were clean, the floor was clean, and I loved how there was a holder thing on the table for spoons, chopsticks, etc, so you can just grab what you need.Cost was very reasonable, and per the menu, it said tax was included, so it made figuring out total costs easier.I just wish I lived closer..... :o) I would visit more often.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school. I was 17/18 years old. I’m now 32 and this place is still ran by the same family. There’s no shortage of pho spots in San Jose, but no matter what other people say about “their” spot. I always find myself right back here for the best pho in San Jose. I always order a large #2 while my wife and kids get the #21 (chicken)

The food is good so I ordered 3 times in the past two week, every time I ordered with the same Pho+ beef meatball add on. The first two times was $18, but this time it’s $21. I asked the person at the front desk why the meatball costs $6 instead of $3, he told me that the meatball’s size is large. But when I arrived at home I found that the meatball is actually the same size as usual.Plus, the front-desk person was extremely rude, he slapped my credit card on the table when I paid.The other front-desk person was nice when I visited this place before. Not sure if they changed that nicer staff🤷‍♂️.Will definitely not visit this store again.

Delicious Pho and variety of rice dishes. Definitely recommend. I was in rush and asked for a quick service and time management was great 👍Store is clean and beautiful. Service is friendly and fast. Price are great.

We come here every other week or so and the service is consistently great. We always get a bowl of Pho and an order of spring rolls. The pho comes out in 5 minutes or less, although the spring rolls usually take much more time, so we usually eat it like a mid-meal palate cleanser. Great place.

Been going here for years and it’s one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the Bay Area and definitely the best pho in Berryessa, an established Vietnamese enclave in north San Jose.I usually get Tai Nam or Tai Nam Gan and the meats are very tasty with good portions. I’ve also had Bun Thit Nuong and their lemongrass pork is marinated well and tasty though I would prefer more char for a smokier taste.

The food is good nice an cheap but the service is not good at all worst place Ive ever been. I pain for a large just noodle soup an it came out with a lot of noodle an not enough juice my order was togo so I asked for more juice thats when all hell broke loose. The lady from the back came out yelling an the guy came from the back to see what was going on. I dont like he yelled at me because I wanted more juice. The food 4 stars but the service brought it down.

This place very good and inexpensive, their noodle soups are very reasonable, broth is flavorful. Very good for the price. I usually get the Wonton with rice noodles, with 3x more the Wonton. Large size. Extra Charsu pork slices for my 4-legged son JonJon.

The steak number 50 was wonderful it came with rice, a simple salad and soup. Everyone there was extremely friendly I felt like I was at home. The steak was bigger then any restaurant Ive ever seen. And everything was memerble, wonderful and tasty. Even my uncle who was watching me enjoyed it.

Its fast and decent. Not my first choice for pho, but it is cheap and near work. Pho has a small, medium, or large size. Medium is just find. If you are extra hungry get the large. I normally get the chicken pho. Its nice to have all white meat option. You can go with skin or no skin. They offer different types of noodle. I just go with the typical stuff.The parking lot and restaurant can get busy around lunch time (noon)They do take cash or debit, but prefer cash.

Good place to come for pho. First time here. We ordered vegetarian pho came with vegetable broth. Other places dont have this option for vegetarians. I had pho with oxtail. It was good but naturally too fatty for me. They are generous with their portion and the broth is very hot which is perfect for pho. Well be back to try other dishes.

One of the best Pho restaurants in San Jose. The friendly owner usually sits at the table closest to the register looking for a conversation. Had a very pleasant conversation with him about his restaurant. Make sure you say hello to him.

I called to place an order over the phone and get vegetarian pho and hung up on me before I asked if they had any smoothies.I called again and told them the call was disconnected and asked if they had smoothies and he yells at me saying he doesnt understand what Im saying and that if im coming to pick it up or not! Very rude ! Never again, you dont talk to people that way .

The setting of this place isnt the greatest and I wouldnt recommend the Pho here. However, the BBQ pork with vermicelli and BBQ pork with rice is not that bad and those are the dishes I would recommend eating here.

Excellent broth. Leave a little at bottom of the bowl and youll see why, dont add all the spice or sauce. Just add a little to what you scoop out. Yum......

I wanted to eat Vietnamese noodles at 11:30 noon and found this pho through Google Maps. I was very disappointed - as soon as I entered, I saw that almost 1/3 of the tables were piled with leftover dishes from the guests and were dirty. I ordered a BBQ barbecue noodle dish, but it was not served for a long time. I had to wait almost twice as long as other pho shops before I saw an old man bringing a bowl of noodle dish to me with dark hands. The taste was really average. I had to bite the bullet and finish eating, and the charge was $10. I still gave a $3 tip, and then asked the old man at the cashier for a receipt. He refused in every possible way and said he didnt have one, and he would only give me a handwritten one. I felt very unhappy. This pho restaurant is the best I have ever eaten in the Bay Area. A poor one, I will definitely not patronize this store next time! !
