My friend and I came to eat here and it was so delicious!! The food came out so quickly and everything was very fresh. We both ordered from the vegetarian menu (which had so many options and was very thankful for). I ordered the V6 and she ordered the V5! Would 1000% recommend

I don’t understand why there are so many bad reviews and some are every hysterical.I ordered pho, and the taste is great. Herbs are fresh, meat are well prepared, and the rice noodles are not over cooked. Very decent place to go.One thing that is not quite satisfying is the service. It’s not that they are rude or anything like that, they just didn’t bring me water and the bill.I was a bit hesitant when I read those negative reviews, but after this visit I’m convinced it’s a nice place, I’ll come back.

Ok, my friend is half Vietnamese and half Chinese, and he think this Vietnamese restaurant is good and reminds him of home with their lovely comfort food so I’d definitely give this restaurant 5 star 😆There’s a lot of seats inside, and it’s clean.The only thing is that they charge for water, so maybe considering bring your own water bottle if you don’t want to spend on beverages# Beef Combination Pho

Yesterday, I visited this restaurant based on positive recommendations I had read. Unfortunately, I did not take any photos as the service was quite challenging from the start. Despite being the first people to arrive, we were left waiting for a long time for our menu to be provided. While the food was decent, the main issue was the delay in receiving it. Also, our dishes arrived incomplete, and the last dish we ordered was forgotten entirely, despite everyone ordering together. We were patient and requested the from two servers twice. We watched as food from other tables was served while my friend was hungry.

Quite bland compared to other pho spots. Chicken broth is ok but the chicken meat is low quality, bland, and kind of gross. Beef broth is not very good. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Satisfying Bowl of PhoDropped by for lunch as our laundry is in the wash. I ordered a Pho with rare steak and tendon while the mister ordered a Pho with beef brisket and flank. Both were delicious. Vegetables were fresh. Soup was savory and tasty. The tendon was soft and delicious. All the meat - rare steak, brisket, flank - were thinly sliced, the way it should be. Very satisfying with the Sriracha hot sauce and hoisin sauce.

I ordered Mi - Hu Tieu Dac Biet from uber eats. The description on every available platform is, choice of egg noodle or rice noodle and a combination of fish balls, shrimp balls, shrimp, sliced of slow-cooked pork, and green leafy vegetables of the day.Attached is an image of what I received. No pork, no greens, barely any fish balls. When I called, I was informed that the menu had been updated (for no one but them) to disclude pork. The vegetables of the day were the basil included with all pho orders.No apology, acknowledgement, nothing. I didnt want free food, but an apology might have been nice. Even acknowledging that the menu was grossly misleading.To make these overpriced rice noodles *even better* I was sick immediately after eating. My partners dish wasnt a problem.

I love coming here and theres never a wait because of how big the place is. First of all, the interior is very simplistic but also very modern. I always order the number 8 (the basic pho combo bowl - pho dac biet) and it always hits the spot! I love the tendon Its really good for its price like most other pho restaurants and the taste is just as good! The service is also very nice and quick. I recommend trying this place!!

Hands down, the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Here are the reasons why:1) The Vietnamese fish sauce is arguably the most important part of Vietnamese cuisine. Here, its more like fish sauce and sugar, diluted with water. There are no chili, lime or garlic taste in it whatsoever.2) Food lacks flavor - I had the rice with lemongrass pork chop. The pork chop lacked any flavour whatsoever. It definitely has not been marinated and the taste of chili and lemongrass was lacking. We also had the Pho - the soup was too sweet and it wasnt made from bone broth (more like flavour packs). They also provide too little herbs (i.e. Thai basil). Lastly, the pho noodle is also not the correct type of noodle.3) The accompanying salad consisted of Spinach, parseley and dill - three ingredients which made absolutely no sense in a Vietnamese dish. On its own, the salad would have been average, but altogether it was just confusing.4) I hereby dedicate an entire point to the papaya salad - the papaya was cut too thick so it stopped being crunchy and started to become slightly chewy - an adjective you never want to use on a salad. Again, the herbs was lacking, and the fish sauce was bad.However, it is not a total disaster - whilst the pork chop lacked flavour, it tasted fresh and not dry. The same with the beef in the Pho - the meat had a good texture to it. The service was good - we were given a big glass of water soon after we sat down and the food arrived within 10 minutes.Nonetheless, it was the worst Vietnamese meal I have ever had. Despite a lack of Vietnamese restaurants in Berkeley, I would not be returning. After returning home, I regret finishing the food. My very-Asian body feels violated by the food, and I am currently eating two whole Romaine Hearts in an effort to expel the food from my body in my next toilet break.

Grab the beef Pho on a cold winter evening! Meat’s good quality, noodles fill me up well. I see most of the bad reviews complaining about lack of authenticity, and personally I can’t speak on that because I don’t know anything about Vietnamese cuisine. All I can say is that I really enjoy the taste here! Service also runs quick and smooth.

Ordered the papaya salad, NEM NƯỚNG CUON and number 14 pho…I came cold and pretty hungry so I’d think I’d be happy with almost anything but the place was almost shockingly bad. Our nem noung cong was literally spam in a spring roll and they tried to tell us that it was minced ground pork compressed. We requested the shrimp spring roll instead and it was topped with 2 shrimp halves and stuffed with only lettuce and rice inside. Our papaya salad which i understand is normally more light than the thai version was just shredded papaya with no seasoning. The only sauce was fish sauce and when I asked abt the chili fish sauce described on the menu for the item the lady somewhat argued with me and brought me out another dish with plain fish sauce and sambal separately. The pho was mediocre at best and very little meat given for a 15 dollar bowl of pho. No limes either with the pho:// normally don’t leave negative reviews and I understand restaurants needing to watch sizes with tight margins but it feels like we were scammed out of our money at this place. Definitely would not recommend 🤧

My favorite place to go for Pho, food comes out in 5 to 10 minutes after ordering and their broth is naturally gluten free here unless you add the sauce! I get the Meat 9 for the gluten free choice on the menu but that is fine because you cant get the thinly sliced steak anywhere else. I come here every time Im sick, hungover, or need a boost of nutrients.

Wonderful little spot for respite after walking all over town. Quiet atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food! Their egg rolls were top notch, the rice noodles and BBQ beef were just right, the fried tofu roll was refreshing and the fried banana and ice cream was the best Ive ever had. Nice hot tea, too!

The place is clean enough but the lady was not very friendly and the pho is just so-so. We ordered an fish cake for the appetizer and it came out just one small cake on the plate, and they charged $7 bucks for that. They got to be kidding. We would not go back there.

First and foremost. Fantastic preparation. Secondly they didnt have to give me my order on doordash in which I requested NO NOODLES---BROCCOLI PLEASE .. ( they not only did they give an extra protein selection they made my meal f**n awesome) followed my instructions to a thread. And made my hunger totally disappear into the void it was also a very health conscience choice.Tasty is my closing statement

Went to this place for years while I was in school. Went back after 5 years or so and found that it was just as good as I remembered. They also expanded the inside so there is much more room for sitting people! This place is fantastic. Its also quick! You can get in get a bowl of pho and be out in 15 minutes of you try! One of the places I always try to get back to when I visit.

Its convenient to have a pho restaurant in this location, so it did scratch an itch. Nothing special here though. The basil was from an older plant and didnt have much flavor, as well as being wilted. The broth lacks complexity, the noodles a bit congealed and made it harder to get it to soak up flavor.

K & K is simple and ok. Its a small viet diner that serves decent enough pho to fulfill those noodle soup cravings but isnt great. The service is quick and the portion are good, theres just a lack of flavor and nothing really memorable about the pho here.The pho tai had a good amount of noodles, a small-ish portion of beef. The soup couldve used more onion or savory flavor- it was a little too light to be hearty. They did provide a good portion of bean sprouts/mint/basil/lime. A good deal for a quick meal.

Pho K&K might as well have renamed themselves to Pho OK, as it describes their soups & other dishes. The broth isnt particularly tasty, but will satisfy on a cold/rainy day. Its unfortunate that there arent any better pho shops in the Berkeley area, especially for the college students living nearby.TL;DR - If youre looking for great pho, youre better off spending the extra time driving out to Oakland and eating there.

Im from near San Jose, so Im used to pretty great pho. This is pretty much the only pho that is a 5-10 minute walk from my apartment, and its decent. I would suggest coming here if youre hungover, or if youre craving pho.

I went only once with a local friend.A spacious store. There is a toilet. The inside of the store was clean.I ordered beef pho without coriander. It was delicious.I dont know what the local prices are, but I guess its not that expensive. ?The coriander is served on a plate, so if you are not good at English, you can just order the pho that says beef on the menu!

Good taste, affordable price. I had seafood Pho, shrimp. The base soba had great flavor, the noodle heavy, I like it lighter.The place is clean, a lot of people order and go for the food.If you want to eat fast and have a good taste, I recommend this place.
