We were totally sleeping on this place and finally came here for the first time since it’s near where we were staying.Shocking that pho was under $14 here compared to the rest of the area. Comparable to LA, maybe cheaper at this point.Food came out quickly and did not compromise on size or quality.We will certainly be back.

This was my second pho experience and Ive been back twice since! I have to really he un the mood for pho and, when I am, this is my go-to! Its so reasonable price wise, excellent service (server even remembered my order last time I came!) Food cones quick, hot, very flavorful and fulfilling. I am not a huge fan of the tofu even though it wasnt bad-just not my favorite. Came back and tried the chicken, was very thin and tender, bowls are huge, the meat selections and variety make a small but very optional menu. Place is so clean, tranquil atmosphere but casual and great for lunch or dinner any day! Cant wait to eat this during the winter!

Your typical hole-in-the-wall ethnic gem where the food is consistently authentic and very good. The service is also on point. Its nice to get a great Pho joint that doesnt require traveling all the way to Hanoi or even East San Jose. Highly recommend!

This photo is my review 😆 I was scraping the plate wishing there was more. I always get pho soup from here and it’s always the best. I’ve also had the shrimp vermicelli, love it. This is my first time trying a rice plate and I got the grilled chicken. Yum. Extra fish sauce please. This restaurant is so good😋

It’s a great place for a quick inexpensive meal. I would have given the food 5 star but the rice was fairly low quality. I’m used to higher quality Japanese rice. It was our first time there and will definitely come back 👍

My 4 stars here is really for the CP this place provides. A large combo pho was about $9. The soup base was clear, light and flavorful. Do not expect too much or very high quality meat though!

The restaurant was very clean with about eight tables. Generous bowl sizes for both the dishes we ordered. Cannot imagine ordering a large size as it looked humongous. The wait staff was prompt and knowledgeable. Food was fresh and delivered quickly. A lot of options when it comes to protein. I think most dishes could be made vegetarian.

We really enjoyed this place. The server was friendly and understanding. The food was delicious and it came out out in two shakes of a lambs tail. I usually get pho but I tried out a wonton soup and I didnt regret it. We also got some vermicelli, some egg rolls, and a spring roll. All of it hit the spot. Even our two year old went to town. Will go back again for sure.

Ordered vermicelli noodles with grilled shrimp and had a durian smoothie for dessert. Both were bland. The shrimp were small and needed to be seasoned. The durian smoothie was not sweet, did not taste like durian, and was full of ice. Service was fast and the place was clean. Didnt end up finishing my meal.

We’ve always liked this neighborhood pho but we haven’t been since the pandemic. This evening, we ordered #27 (hot and spicy), and #42 grilled pork vermicelli to go. Both dishes were a huge disappointment!! The pho was bland, broth did not have the the aromatic flavors we are used to, and it was not even spicy! #42 was just as bad. The sauce that came with it was tasteless! I wonder if this place changed ownership. We’ll never go back again.

We were not impressed as there is no restroom or hand sanitizer available. The Pho Seafood lacked flavor and did not have much protein in it. We had spring rolls and they were a little off as well. The sauce for them wasnt the best either. Not sure why the reviews say inexpensive as this is about what most other places charge. The location is dangerous at night since there is very little street lighting and the approach by car is difficult to get in and out of due to traffic.

Ive been dining here for the past ten plus years. It has to be my favorite place to get hot, hot, hot (did I mention hot?) Pho.No additives in the broth that I can detect. Definitely no fish sauce in the preparation of the broth (I get an allergic reaction to fish sauce).This is family owned and operated.The staff are always friendly and prompt with top notch service.I always get the large number one with extra meat and the grilled chicken vermicelli.I could eat here every day and not get tired of the food and service.

I can’t be sure, but maybe their tofu is homemade?? The texture was perfect and it wasn’t cut into perfect little cubes or rectangles- it look hand formed.Stopped here while traveling through the area. I got the vegetarian pho and my husband the seafood pho. Both were delicious. The place is simple and clean. The staff were friendly and brought out food to our table quickly.

Ive been going to this restaurant for going on 2 years now and they never disappoint. Ive yet to go to a pho restaurant that delivers pho to your table quicker than here. The pho broth is light and clear which Id rather prefer than the heavy dark beefy broth. The deal breaker for me when it comes to a good pho restaurant is their meatballs and the meatballs are excellent here. I keep coming back here cause they also serve your pho HAWT ! When I say hot I mean HAWT ! If you love pho you definitely have to give this place a shot. You wont regret it

Pho Long Thinh is one of my very favorite Vietnamese spots in SJ. Their food is on-par with Com Tam and frankly I like the vermicelli at Long Thinh better. Service always very friendly and with reasonable wait times.Both pork and chicken vermicellis are outstanding. Imperial rolls are fire. Bahn mi is excellent but I personally recommend asking for light on the mayo, as they are generous with it.Always a pleasure to stop in at PLT.
