I tried this place recently. I have been wanting to go for a long time. Service was good but the food was not the greatest. I ordered pad Thai and spring rolls with shrimp and pork. I was disappointed with the flavors. But maybe the pho is better. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I might give it another chance. It could have been an off day.

I ordered the Bún and my wife ordered phó. My meal was incredible! The marinade on the meat was delicious. Highly recommend it. We both ate with drinks for a little over $30. Thats unheard of these days, great spot and we will be back.

I fly to CA every month for work. This time I met with my in-laws and they took us to this restaurant where they work. The vibe of the place is so cozy. The MOST majestic bathroom Ive ever been inside a restaurant, its so clean and had this oriental look. The food is so tasty and so good that we ordered too much lol. Lastly, the staff are so friendly and we also had the chance to meet the owner, she is so nice and always smiling. Definitely one of the best vietnamese restaurants in the San Bernardino area.

Good food. Place is clean, service is prompt. The food is made with fresh ingredients. Almost everything I tried was good. The Thai Iced Tea is good and the boba drinks, coffee is a must. Can get packed at the times. But good overall. Give it a try.

Ive been coming here for years with family and work. For the first time I have an issue with the Pho. Something tasted sour. You can see from my bowl I just picked at it. I tried adding everything but I could still taste it. They wouldnt take it off my order and they barely even took 20% off the dish after going back and forth. Theres enough good Pho spots around. I wont be coming back.

On our way home from Las Vegas to San Diego and we stumbled upon this Vietnamese restaurant!! We drove around awhile searching for a place and they were all closed. This is one of a few Vietnamese restaurants open on a Monday. So glad we didnt give up, the food was quite delicious!!

We used to come here and had been my wifes favorite for years. That is, until last week when we ordered takeout. The portions were so skimpy and $50 for 3 dishes is kinda a rip off. We understand prices have gone up but $17 for a few pieces of crispy rice noodles with veges. Cmon, how bad can your rent be? Youre in the heart of San Bernardino? Were being super GENEROUS with a 4 STAR review! They gotta make some changes soon.

Pho Mai is an amazing restaurant. Food is so delicious, flavorful and refreshing. Staff is very welcoming but prices have climbed a little due to this unbearing coronavirus epidemic. But trust me, still worth it. I keep going back for the Bahn Mi grilled pork sandwich.

Ive been here a few times before with friends and family and every single time weve gone weve never been disappointed. The pho is not the best one Ive had in my honest opinion, however the broth was still very flavorful and delicious which is why I honestly come back. I have tried a couple of dishes other than their pho and wow!! Amazing flavor and freshness. The only number I can remember right now was the #70..... The fried egg rolls wrapped with Lettuce and dipped in the sauce it comes with is a must 👍

We went out to have pho Friday night with friends in ghetto San Bernardino sorry to say, i ordered chicken pho my friend ordered vegetable pho and noodles dish the noodles were plain we did not get garnish for the pho no bean sprouts no jalapeño no basil 😒 10 min into our meal I had to ask for the garnishment I was sad the chicken in my soup was hard I had to bite into it the chicken was shredded and long pieces ugh it was terrible experience eating at pho Mai ! Btw make sure you ask for extra napkins when you place your order in the beginning they only give you 3 per guest and they are very thin I had to suffer to wipe my mouth with my hands I was so embarrassed in front of my friends 😒

UPDATE AUG. 15, 2023:Craving for Vietnamese Food today, and my kids were hungry after I picked them up from school. This place is our usual place to go for Vietnamese food.Food is always good. Staffs were friendly and greeted us entering the place. We seated ourselves to a table. The prices of food increased though.------------My usual place to eat pho.. but the day we went with my kids and friend. It was just a bummer. Waited for the server to get our order for 30 mins. It was so bad that day that I didnt even want to give any tips. The lady that showed us where to seat was not friendly at all. Giving us a little attitude.

Word of advice, If a customer is willing to pay extra, just provide them with what they want!!!I have been coming to get my coconut desserts here for years!! Today was my last time, after asking the lady behind the conter to please put more coconut milk in the frozen dessert cup, she tells me, we dont do that here!!!. I let her know that they have always done it for years. She got louder and said we dont do that here, you wanna pay more extra?! I told her thats fine,that I was there last week ordering the same thing and they did it, at no extra charge. Then she refused to add it while telling, it will be to sweet, and we dont do that here!! The #97 was so good. The tofu was cooked perfectly. I’ve had a bad experience with tofu but this restaurant made me love it. It’s something about the chef that knows what to add to make it to your liking. Will be coming back to try more vegetarian options which I also love about this place.

Been coming her for years. Now if you decide to dine in, you have to order your food at the counter upon arrival, pay for it in advance and then sit down. This place used to have great food and staff, but ever since they relocated to opposite end of parking lot...they commercialized the food and portions got smaller and raised the prices significantly. Definitely miss the previous owners and staff.

I love it here. I have been coming here for years now. I love their beef pho noodle bowls. I have tried a few. I love their Thai tea, tea in a pot but I think they stopped doing that for the pandemic. Hopefully they service that back up again soon. The staff is always so nice and friendly. This is in a strip mall on a busy street. We were the only non Asians eating there. The food was great. Im not sure what we had but it was very tasty. The spicy dishes are really hot. Pass on this restaurant if youre ordering for delivery. I placed my order online for delivery. Pho Mai, this location, confirmed they do indeed deliver to My address. They accepted my order and billed me for it notifying me how long it would take, their drivers name with a screen to view my delivery progress quoting me an (Im starving but accepted the ETA time) an hour and a half quoting delivery time at 6:55pm. At 7:15pm I received a message from Pho Mai saying sorry we cant deliver so we cancelled your order. !!! Im currently staying at an airbnb and have NO FOOD in this house. Im upset at this restaurant who accepted and confirmed my order then notified me almost 2 hours latersorry our driver cant deliver.

Sadly the food here is really good. But their customer service is the worst. I have been coming here since they opened. Every time I Hope theyve improved but every time its a bad experience. After each experience I usually take two months off and on from this place. They take 40 minutes to deliver one meal. It take orders without paper. Trying to remember everything in their head. Of course they forget things and the order always get screwed up. This place well go out of business if another one opens up across the street with just as good food top class customer service.

Food was great. Service was horrible. I had to raise my hand, asked for some lime, and never got it. Asked for chili oil and fried garlic and never got it. I had to ask the people that were sitting next to me us for chili oil. I had to get up and go to the front desk to ask the lady that was sitting down and was on her phone for some service after clicking and clacking our empty cups for 10 minutes. The day I came here, the pho broth seemed to be on the sweet side. But I was able to balance it out with the seasonings they had. The server couldnt tell me what was in the sauce they had for the chicken strips and if he didnt know, he could have asked the cooks. He also forgot our water and I had to wave him down to get it. Otherwise, he would have not gotten our water and we would have been very thirsty. He was nice though and he had a smile on the whole time while he served us. And I thank him for keeping up customer service. But it would be nice to be checked on and to make sure the customers are good and hydrated. Thank you

Im no expert in regards to Vietnamese food, but I know what tastes good and this place tastes great. I had the #33 vermicelli with Shrimp, Pork, and an Egg Roll. Everything was cooked perfectly and very delicious. We were at work lunch and the food was served very fast and hot. The rest of the guys had the pho and one had the vegetarian fried rice...they all said it was awesome. Staff is friendly and parking is good. We will be back.

He wasnt attentive verbally but he at least kept his eyes roaming at each table of guests. Refills werent refilled & when we finished our meal we had to flag someone down just to get our check. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND I WILL NEVER RETURN. Honestly, I used to think they had the best Pho, but they don’t. There really is no reason to settle for horrible service from management all the way on down when you can get delicious pho in friendlier establishments. My cousin and I went for dinner last night and we were both in shock about the horrible service we experienced the entire time. I was very hungry but due to the rude service I only ate my appetizer of 2 veggie roles and I drank a glass of what was supposed to be fresh squeezed lemonade but I know frozen lemonade concentrate mixed with water when I taste it. So no refills on lemonade concentrate. The potatoes in my veggie rolls were also undercooked. My cousin didn’t even finish her meal because we couldn’t wait to get out of there. When I expressed my concerns to whomever was in charge he braced his body to engage in confrontation with me rather than pay attention to what a patron was trying to convey. As soon as he shifted his body language to engage in confrontation, we left. We both decided that we will never return. When I’m craving pho I’ll head to the place on Sterling and Highland or go to my favorite pho spot...Fontana Pho.

Food is great. Service sucks. All of them need to just hire servers that want to be there instead of rude...forgetful workers. The girl with the short hair is so forgetful. We asked for a refill she grabbed the cups filled them and walked to the other side of the room and forgot where we sat.... twice. Lol next time take the food togo.

Been here many times over the past 2 years and will be back many more. Ive tried many things, but my go to favorite I normally get is the #18 shrimp pho with egg noodles. Appetizers are fantastic. You have to try the pho tacos!

Great customer service, very fast and organized. Sometimes ya might have to wave them down to receive a refill on water or other drink, but other times they will walk around and refill it without having to wave down a waiter/waitress. Also, the pho is very good with all the fixings including Sriracha, chilli pepper sauce, and a dash of Hoisin sauce.

Good Vietnamese food in San berdoo. Very tasty and delicious. It’s not cheap to eat here but it’s worth it from time to time. Come check the place out it’s pretty good pho soup and rice dishes. I love their Vietnamese iced coffee it’s so strong seems like they put crack in it cuz I’m pretty amped after taking a drink.

Went in a couple of days ago ive been coming here for years even at there old location no problem but they change the staff now they have young kids doing the job dont get me wrong there are some that do a good job! but theres this one young kid who makes them all look bad!! goes by the name Gerald that was the name on the receipt. I asked him for a lemon completly blew me off then the other day i went didnt even write my order down he got everything wrong. Then there was a old couple sitting there for 30 mins he just kept ignoring them but when his friends came in he helped them right away! I hope management sees these reviews and does something about it!

It all started off on a rainy day when my gut told me I should go get pho. So I was not sure whether I was just being fat or I was actually hungry so I flipped a coin to decide what to do. Heads Ill go get pho tails Ill stay home and listen to my new bless the fall album. I flipped the coin and I got head from a girl nearby and made my journey to go get pho. My moms wasnt home so I had to take Uber with my 3 communist friends who did not support me getting pho. On our way over there the Uber driver was jamming out to 2pac so it was coo we finally arrived at our destination and it was like being back in Nam like I was in 68. I sat down with my comrades and we ordered chicken pho bowls, after eating our pho with forks and bringing back good memories of the war Ive decided this is my favorite place to get pho. I highly rate this place 5 stars!
