A popular lunch spot for locals and workers. We were craving a beef pho and ordered chicken wings. Both fairly tasty. The chicken was nicely fried. This is a good place for bun bo Hue.

Good place for lunch. Reasonable price for pho.The rare beef is tender. So good.The noddles are too soft. Wish they can make them a little bit hard.The big size bowl has best value.$10 or more for using credit card.

Quick super tasty food. If you are hungry and got no time. Just come here. Quicker service than typical fast food. But still fresh food. Better to drop money in local place.Also when the menu says large, it is large.

Big portions, fast service and very friendly. Outdoor seating available and dog friendly! Bass fish noodle soup was simple and unique, grill shrimp, pork and egg roll with noodle was delicious! Love the avocado smoothie!

We sometimes eat here for convenience. Today was for dinner. I ordered the Pho Tai Sach, which had been my usual pho order at all pho restaurants. Their pho has been usually a tad on the sweeter side for us but with generous meat and sach. Overall, 3.5/5. The Hu Tieu soup was decent and good, nothing special but they did provide 2 quail eggs and more meat vs othe places, 3.5/5. Spring rolls, decent and average (seems to have gotten shorter), nothing special or wow. The peanut sauce was ok, 3/5. Our server was impatient and didnt listen well to our order this time. Customer service was made much better by the owners son, which he usually provided great service. 4/5.

There are too many phos around the bay area, I havent tried all of them but most. There are also many phos near me but I drive 20mins to here, thats how good this place is.Ingredients are fresh, its not overly salty, tastes great and portion is large. Im 62 260lbs and I cant even finish a large bowl.The spring rolls are fresh and tasty, service is super fast too. This is prob not the quote on quote best pho in bay area, but for the price is simply unbeatable.

Very yummy pho house with lots of variety-good menu. The bowls are large and the food is great. Crowded during Mon thru Fri at lunchtime. Good healthy choices and some very nice appetizers that are not so good for the cholesterols.

I had just wanted to buy a container of the chicken broth. They wouldnt sell it to me and had to buy the chicken pho. Wasnt as good as i remembered it. Probably due to it being taken home. The fact they refused to just sell me the broth isnt very customer friendly either. Other joints sell it.

Its hard to stand out in South Bay as a Vietnamese restaurant. Pho Nguyen has a few things going for it. Its clean. The service is nice and the food is quite good.Ox tail seems to be a specialty here. I tried bun bo hue with ox tails. Its pretty tasty with good serving size. My daughter tried bun with grilled pork. The meat was tasty too. My wife tried the traditional pho. Its good. One thing you can tell if the pho is good is if the side of the raw bean sprouts and basil leaves are fresh. And they are here.Good place. Recommend!

Visited once with my friends.Food was ok but I could not eat all of them.Sometimes you can see insects flying near your plate, be careful.Overall it was ok but I did not like more than 50%.

Very reasonably priced bowl of pho. The big and small bowl only has a small price difference, but the big bowl felt too much for me. The beef is tender, and the noodles are on the softer side. Still good though! (drink plenty of water.. they have quite a bit of MSG in the soup)

This place stands out in the crowded Vietnamese food scene that is California. It is simply one of the best pho restaurants in the country and one of the top in the world. The broth is authentic and perfectly flavored. It is also one of the few places which still serves traditional Vietnamese dessert drinks such as three color drink, mung bean and red bean with coconut milk; many other places have succumbed to the ubiquitous tapioca drinks, a wonderful concoction in its own right but it is NOT Vietnamese.

We have a female table service today. Not friendly at all. We had phở, the noodles were over cooked, the broth is a little more salty than my taste. The thịt bò tái was well cooked. I like that the broth was clear and has cinnamon and star anise to it.

Best place for Bún bò Huế, they are so popular that the casher told me to order it by BBH since most of people will have a funny pronounciation for it.Well BBH is just one type of spicy vermicelli noodle soup that not on common menu. It turned out that I like the Oxtail version better, named Bún bò Huế Đuôi bò.

Just found this Vietnamese pho and rice restaurant. Prices are reasonable and food is good. No complaints. Coworker didnt like the beef stew because of the part of the beef that was used very dark and dense not very appetizing.

I tried there pho soup number one. It was very yummy. Lots of noodles and the broth was good. My boyfriend got the lemongrass chicken rice plate. The chicken had lots of flavor and was cooked well, it was juicy not dry at all. Would definitely go back to try there special oxtail soup.

We have been coming here for over 10 years. Our favorites are pho with rare beef, grilled fish rice plate, grilled pork chop rice plate. I love the coconut slush drink, it is silky smooth and just the right blend of sweetness.

Parking is super tight.Family favorite. Only pho place that the whole family agrees to eat at.Service is great, were regulars.Their rice plates are better than pho mai or pho Saigons my kid agrees.Took one star away cause they only have one pitcher of water for their whole restaurant & we constantly, have to try not to sound rude but ask for refills, some days theyre on top of it & others we have to like wave them down or if theyre super busy send one of our kids to the register to ask for refills.

Boy, parking is difficult to find during lunch. We got in right as the rush began. The tea was great. The service was quick. The grilled basa on vermicelli was amazing. I craved more basa. I loved it. Very good prices.

Consistent quality & quick service. Good for kids & groups. One of the few pho joints that offers dried or fresh noodles in your noodle soup; extra money for fresh, of course. Tried fresh once, but I couldnt tell the difference, taste or texture wise. Maybe fresh has no preservatives?Update, 2/1/17: 1st time back in 3 months and prices have gone up. Still a great value for the quality. 2 large pho tai with extra noodles, 2 drinks and a self-service lettuce wrap plate with grilled shrimp & pork totaled over $42 before tip.

Good Vegetarian Pho can be found here,which is rare. The regular Pho IMHOhas way too much MSG, so we onlyget Vege Pho. The Vege Pho is claimednot be cooked with animal products....thus take-out Pho from here, plusLees offerings makes everyone happy.

This is another one of my favorite Pho place to go. There is nothing glamorous or nice about this place, parking can be tough sometimes and it is located in a busy area but their pho is really good. I usually just get pho ga.
