Ph Ru Restaurant in Sacramento

Pho Ru offers a decent dining experience for those in the mood for some hearty Vietnamese food. The Phở here is moderate, not the absolute best Ive had, but certainly satisfying. Its full of flavor, with the broth being the standout element. The service is standard, nothing exceptional but also nothing to complain about. The staff are polite and quite efficient. The location of the restaurant isnt particularly noteworthy, but its comfortable enough for a casual meal. The big surprise was the large Phở order, which came with a free beef bone. Its a unique touch that I appreciated and a great way to add extra depth to the soup. All in all, while Pho Ru might not stand out in all aspects, its a option for a tasty, fulfilling meal.

Have been enjoying various types of Asian soup dishes for the past 20yrs, tasted one today that uniquely stood out and awoken the taste buds I never knew I had.. awfully great tasting dishes.. smallish neat n cozy eatery, spacious, super friendly staff.. wait time was surprisingly very short indeed..dishes were beautifully n invitingly presented.. thank you so much..will definitely check this spot again to try out other dishes real soon..

Pho Ru truly exceeded our expectations in every aspect of our dining experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, got to love mom and pop shops with style. The attentive and friendly service was a plus.Now, lets talk about the food – it was simply amazing! We opted for the pho combo, and it was one of the best Ive ever had. The soup had depth and flavor, and the inclusion of the bonus rib bone added an extra layer of happiness. Additionally, we tried the green fried rice, which was a delightful surprise. Its fresh and vibrant flavors made it a perfect complement to our meal.

First time being there, there was no one there when we got there. The sit were pretty empty and wasnt busy at all. The service wasnt that great and it was quite disappointing. Ill give it a two star rating with poor guest service. Never eating that restaurant place ever again.

Its an older joint but the staff was rude and they dont listen. My nephew ordered shrimp noodle soup but they didnt understand him ( he speaks low in public, 7 years old) so I asked my nephew did you want chicken or shrimp, number 8 or number 9 he said 9 but they brought chicken. The girl took it back then the lady comes over and starts to argue how we said chicken. I let her know we said number 9. Looked on menu number 9 was the shrimp. At the end of the meal instead of taking the money with the bill they made us go to the counter to pay ( walking on a very wet floor, they mopped around us). Bad experience food was ok.

We got 2 bowl of pho and a rice dish. The pho was good and the rice dish as well. We miss California pho and this was our first time since we move. Customer service was good and the place was nice and clean. Order a large bowl and y’all get a beef bone with it.

Don’t care about ALLERGY!!!!!!!!!!I would give 0 star if I could.When I order I told waitress no cilantro because I am allergic. They first serve was full of cilantro, then I told them to change, the second time the owner take out the first bowl just clean the cilantro on the top of soup, but inside the soup and noodle was still a lot. Third time, they just clean the meat from last bowl and change new soup. Even I told owner I am allergic. She said she knows and it’s ok. IT IS NOT OK AT ALL!Really disappoint. Don’t go!

My bf and I goes there alot of time n everytime we there our service is excellent. Our favorite food there is your beef pho with bone .

This is my familys go to Vietnamese food whenever in the area... price is very reasonable, portions are large, the broths are flavorful... everything on the menu is delicious.

Came here for the beef bone pho. We got the #1 large, the large is w the beef bone. The beef on the bone was delicious! Must’ve been pressure cooked bc it slid off the bone with gentle shaking. Awesome long booths that could fit 6-8 people total. They need better ac because it was hot! Customer service could be friendlier
