This place has officially become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the valley!! I personally am not a huge fan of Pho but this place has so many different items on the menu. The best part is they recently added cajon food and have crab, shrimp, mussels and more!I ordered the filet mignon with rice and the cream cheese wontons. With my friend group we also had the egg rolls and the spring rolls that are wrapped with rice paper. I also got the Thai tea which was one of the best ones Ive ever had.The service here is amazing. They are so friendly and were able to explain many of their food options to me. There is lots of indoor dining tables insides and is good for small and large parties. They also have delivery service options if you cant make it in person to eat.

Their food is exceptional... Its great to find Pho that doesnt rely on salt content for flavor. Their broth is top-notch, and even though their prices have gone up, you get added value for your money as they dont skimp on the fixings or compromise flavor.I have been coming here more and more for my Pho fix, its worth it!

Been going here for so long I assumed I had already reviewed it, but I guess not. Here goes. The pho here is super reliably good. Nothing over the top but will not disappoint. My favorite is the vermicelli with charbroiled pork with eggroll hits the spot everytime. Really good selection on the milk tea 🧋 offerings. Service is fast and efficient. Parking can be an issue during peak service, but a large seating area means you wont have to wait to get seated very often. Best pho offerings in this part of the San Fernando Valley particularly the Chatsworth area.

From time to time, I crave a hearty bowl of soup, and my go-to is the Wonton BBQ noodles with their flavorful yellow noodles. Ive also tried their Pho, which holds up quite well for being in the San Fernando Valley. Yesterdays visit prompted me to share my first review on google—its a place that isnt overwhelmingly busy, making it a comfortable spot for dining in. Plus, ordering ahead for takeout is always an option, adding to the convenience.

Great authentic food with a perfect and diverse menu. They have some of the best pho in the valley. Their curry chicken is amazing and is one of my favorite of their dishes. Its also a good spot if you want to eat something before or after hiking in the mountains around Chatsworth.

Decided to try this place out, it was great. I ordered the x-large beef noodle soup and some Thai tea boba and pork egg rolls. The soup was a great size, quite large ! And the egg rolls were amazing. Thai tea really hit the spot and was a great way to end the meal. Price wise it’s not too expensive. Would totally come here again.

We found our favorite pho spot. We always order #15. XL Pho with all the meats. The broth is very flavorful and the meat they put is good quality. Big portions, fresh noodles, fresh veggies, and good selections of cuts perfect for broth. This is our take-out go to place and I am willing to travel just to have a good pho.

Ordered from a delivery service. Food arrived fairly fresh and still warm to the touch. The pho was different, but not in a bad way. I couldnt identify why that was until I bit into it, a piece of ginger. The ginger inedible though. This added flavor created something new, special even, to this particular rainy day in California. Also loved that they were able to accommodate our switch from rice noodles to ramen. Ordered their Tempura shrimp and was a bit disappointed. Shrimp had an ever so slight freezer burn taste to go along with its stale flavor. I would definitely order their Pho again but steer clear from their fried shrimp.

Super authentic pho. One of the best in the valley. The place is as legit as it gets. Full vietnamese atmosphere and clientele.The service is not great but its not bad. It must be a little bit because of the language barrier so sometimes its not as easy as it should get their attention but they bring the food and they let you eat in peace, which is great.I love the number 15. Its big and filling, with all the goodies.

Hideous decor, worn out chairs, everything is red, from outside the place looks small but inside it’s large. But the food is flavorful and authentic Vietnamese dishes. The waiters pay attention and quick greeting customers and accommodating. The hot and sour soup is absolutely magnificent. Parking is little bit dicey given the location.

Slightly higher priced than most Pho joints around California but its one the best pho tai nam in the valley. The broth is standard pressure cooked for hours like any authentic Vietnam soup but what sets this place apart from the others is the quality and quantity of beef. It is rare for me to find a restaurant that would let you used the restroom without purchasing anything. I had a family emergency. It was cold and windy, I only had a banana and water all day and it was later in the evening around 6pm. The employees did not give my mother and I a hard time, they welcomed us in, knowing we only wanted to use the restroom. Realizing how hungry we were, we end up ordering food to go. The employees did not know our personal business. But they were so kind, their customer service was excellent, they were so polite to us and we did not originally come to eat! I had to write a review. They may not understand their kindness went a long way while we were under shock and distress. The way they treated us eased our minds in this unpleasant time. I did love the food by the way and we ordered coffee. Next day we purchased more coffee. I call that over and beyond excellent customer service!Ordered: Chicken Dumplings, Rice, 2 orders of Fries, and Coffee and they gave us 2 Complimentary Water. Next Day we ordered 2 Coffees

I have been to this restaurant a few times before, foods were good but tonight’s dinner was not. I ordered egg noodle seafood soup, and my husband had seafood pho, both were very salty and the broth were tasteless with few pieces of squid, fish balls and 4 shrimps. The egg noodle came out in clumps. I ate about a quarter of my food, just couldn’t eat any more. My son had beef pho which was ok. So disappointed …

Delicious. I found this place recently because it was open early. I’ve gone 3 times this week. Fantastic pho and honestly the best spring rolls and peanut sauce I’ve ever had. I’ll be coming back here every few days. I haven’t had anything else and I won’t get anything else because I always get the same thing. XL pho #14 and pork/shrimp spring rolls. We’ve ordered from here once before and the food was great. Unfortunately the next time we ordered for pick up they really messed up our order. Our vegan noodles had real beef and the vegetarian congee had chunks of chicken. We didn’t realize until we got home and don’t live close enough for us to be worth driving back. So sadly we’ll have to stop coming here. They list vegan on their menu and shop sign but beware if you’re vegan/vegetarian I don’t think their quality control is that great :(

A good Vietnamese restaurant, larger than average and with a good menu. They offer much more than just pho, and the staff (run by family members) are usually friendly and helpful. Ive been coming here since they opened. Their rice dishes are very good, as well as their soups. Ingredients are fresh and they will happily make adjustments /take requests regarding items on the menu. Prices are pretty cheap. They have expanded the menu to include seafood now as well.

Terrible service! Waited 30 minutes for our food only to realize the waiter didn’t put in our order. People who came 5-10 minutes after got their orders before my family and we’re wondering why? We told the waiter and he kept arguing back at us, telling us that we’re being impatient. Family owned and run Vietnamese restaurant. Ive been going here for years after being introduced by coworkers, and I really love the food here. A few of my favorites are appatizers 2 and S2, as well as the banh mi sandwiches (S8). They have vermicelli dishes (good!) and rice dishes(never tried), but I usually order one of the pho dishes as my main course. #25, 27, and 33 are probably my favorites so far. I usually end up getting one of those each time just because I like them a lot, though I am sure there is plenty of other good stuff on the menu. They also do cajun style seafood, but I have not tried that yet either

Rare beef pho is the way to go! My son told me about this restaurant, it took us a while to go, then the pandemic hit. Weve never appreciated pho more than now, its a go to comfort food.I admit that we have not explored this menu thoroughly, I look forward to doing so. The rare beef is so tasty, we havent felt the urge to move on to another dish yet.Pho Saigons broth is very good on its own, that says a lot about the quality of their soups. Pho shouldnt need all of the additions and this one doesnt need a single thing added to make it taste great.

This is my favorite unpretentious Vietnamese restaurant in LA. Everything is good. The homemade hot sauce on every table is especially good. Try the five spice chicken, its spectacular! This place is so good, I sometimes drive for an hour past dozens of Vietnamese restaurants just to eat here.

Took my wife here for dinner. The food was good but service was lacking. My wifes pho was delivered without all the sides, like basil, bean sprouts, ect, like it states in the menu that it comes with. Once we flagged down one of the servers and asked for the sides and soy sauce he came back with only bean sprouts and nothing else and left fast enough so we couldnt ask for anything else.

I got food poisoning yesterday from a mixed seafood dish over noodles. I am recovering now .... but I was up all night puking and with diarrhea. The condiments on the table may have been the issue, but I suspect the cooking because the noodles in this hot dish were cold. Ive thought carefully about this, and there is NO other reasonable explanation... I had nothing else to eat after eating there about 5pm, and I was sick as a dog from 12 midnight to 6am after having dinner there. Please be careful .... at least avoid mixed seafood dishes that may have left-over ingredients.

Best Steamed 🦀 in the ValleyWe found this place by accident one day. We went there for pho and ended up realizing that they also did steam crab like some of the other well-known places but let me tell you this place has the best flavors the biggest mussels and clams everything about it is amazing in the price is better than anything in the Bali if you have a chance to go to this restaurant have the steam crab steamed shrimp steamed mussels in the whole shebang it was amazing we will be back.

I really wanted to like this place after trying to find authentic bone broth pho out here in the valley. Most places just add powder to their broth and the result is a bland, watery mess without the nutrients. I called and asked and they said they make their stock for 24 hours. After I found 2, 10 inch hairs in my first bite, it was really hard for me to want to keep eating.

Rude. Good food tho. I called earlier in the day to ask when they would close. The guy said regular time at 930. I had quarantine errands to run so I wasnt free till 845 I tried to call in my order and no one was picked up the phone. No answering machine. Love this spot. I live right up the street from here and am a regular here for lunch and dinner. The beef stew is my go-to and is so delicious. The meat can be fatty sometimes but they give you nice big tender chunks that the fat falls away from easily. The filet mignon phó is amazing too.

This is my favorite pho spot in the valley! The service is good, and the pho is absolutely delicious. They also have more than just pho on the menu though if you want to get traditional vietnamese food, as well as Cajun seafood! During peak times though, parking may be hard to get in their lot since it is so small and they share it with other businesses in the plaza.

I’m almost at the point where I’ll bring my own sliced jalapeño (love me some spicy Vietnamese); but that doesn’t stop me from coming back or giving them 5 stars. Love, love, LOVE this place! The pho is amazing...never had anything I didnt like. Portions are good, service is great (most pho places Ive been too arent this attentive). And they remember me when I come in. Always a nice feeling.

Ive been here multiple times as it is pretty close to my house. Always delicious good and fast serving. In my opinion thia one is better than cafe oriente, which is a competitor in the vicinity. Even my friends come here from time to time from korea town where there are multiple pho places since they visited me and had the food here.

First of all, mostly the food they serve taste delicious & this’s one of good places for the Vietnamese who live here, they still can enjoy the familiar homeland flavor,...Nevertheless, the attitude toward the customers, the way they deal with the customers isn’t good (I mean in my case, not all).One time my husband & I stopped by for dinner, I ordered beef spicy noodles soup, I get used to eating little red chilli, when we checked out, just like a common suggestion while waiting that “why didn’t you guys make a red chilli sauce for your restaurant, it’s much spicier than hellapeno”; “the foreigners they prefer hellapeno chilli”, he (cahier - it seems owner’s son) said. Oh yes, I agreed w you... Another day I came, he recognized us, he’s the one who received our orders & I asked for red chilli along w the food, he said “we didn’t have it”, but I know they had bc I ate there many times, they served me w that before, okie, I asked the other then & I got what I needed.What I wanna say here, their business is restaurant & it’s product is the best service they try to give the customers, that’s supposed to be a place I want to bring my family eat there & introduce to friends instead of wondering if I should come back & starting to compare w the others in an area, here’s California, not as the other states have less Asian restaurants.

The filet mignon pho is the best. I usually get pho tai (brisket) at pho spots but this place has filet mignon slices and you can never go back to brisket after eating this. This is my go-to spot for pho in the Valley.

Its a great restaurant. Once an Italian restaurant now transformed into a Vietnamese Restaurant. As you enter the restaurant, you get that vibe of what a Vietnamese Restaurant feels like. The decor is very traditional Vietnamese and the music reminds me of all the Vietnamese restaurants that I have dined at. However what strikes me most is the decor, the furniture, the lighting, and the space of this restaurant. Most Vietnamese restaurants are quite dull looking and looks very boring. However, when you are at pho saigon 1, it does feel vibrant here. Now, on to the food.. the pho is definitely the best here. Most people love and order half a chicken. For us who love pho, the pho with filet mignon is a popular amongst frequent customers like my mom. I usually order pho with beef ball, tendon, tripe, and beef. I also enjoy the rice vermicelli noodles with vegetables beef and shrimp. Surprisingly also Vietnamese rice porridge is better than Chinese rice porridge. When you are here at Pho Saigon 1, its best to first get the pho, then work your way though out the menu and try different things. This is my place to go for pho!
