I had a large combination pho and beef banh mi. Ingredients were just average quality and pho didnt have enough meat inside. But banh mi had plenty of beef. Taste was pretty good and they got extra points for having the original sriracha sauce. Service was quick and everyone was nice. But place wasnt clean. My spoon had a dried cilantro on and their bathroom smelled pretty bad. I would go back there for banh mi to go so I would eat at home.

My go to item is the Vegetarian Pho. That includes the Vegetarian Pho broth and all else veggies. They have been here for a while and offer a great atmosphere for all parties.If you have a special request for your food, dont hesitate to ask. For those very specific about vegetarian options, have the staff request the chef to wash-out the pan before preparing the meal.Great staff, great service.

A while ago, I ordered take out(ALL PHO) for my family.... Mind you the pho broth had shreds of softened bean sprouts in it. You can only wonder if it was left over from someone elses broth? Took it back to get a refund and did not get an apology whatsoever. Also received attitude from an employee there. Decided to give this place a 2nd chance.... and it was a bad idea! Can someone tell me why I have strings of chow mein noodles in my chow fun and stir fry? Its as if they use the SAME pan to stir fry my food from someone elses chow mein order? Can a restaurant be this lazy? What have happened to this place?

This was embarrassingly bad. I wont order from here ever again. It has the worst honey walnut shrimp I have ever seen from any Asian restaurant and its 17 dollars for the plate. Everything just looked unappetizing after we received out order.

Very authentic vietnamese meals. They serve you fast. Very delicious. The bathrooms were not very clean and a bit smelly. Otherwise the eating area is clean. The Pho Saigon special was outstanding.

My fav is the extra large pho bowl combo#1 with special beef cut meats, salt & peppered calamari, Yangchow fried rice. They also serve lots of other Southeast seafood, pork, and chicken dishes. Very tasty and good!

Good food for a late night dinner. Grab a pho or regular Vietnamese food. They also have French fries too if you are interested.They are pretty quick bringing out the food so be prepared to eat once you place your order.

Great food, fresh & authentic. Bad area off Stockton though. Wait times are long (30 minutes). Always busy with lots of business & diners. They serve large portions. For example, chicken fried rice for #1 person (takeout) serves 3-4 people. Egg rolls are excellent. They also serve iced coffee drinks & teas.

The large bowl is huge!!! We ordered the chicken and beef pho bowls and it was really good. The condiments for the pho were really green and fresh. The wait time for the food seems like seconds. The restroom is clean. It is wheelchair accessable. The con: the Viet coffee isnt the best I had.

Good pho place with a decent menu. I havent tried too much here but the pho is consistent and I absolutely love the Walnut shrimp here. The service is ok so most of the time youll want to signal for water or if you want anything but the place is big and seats a decent amount of people. Parking can be a challenge as the lot is used by other places and they can be fairly tight. I had to park by the grocery store nearby.

1st thing I ordered was the Beef Pho extra large its gigantic!!! It taste very good the broth is well balanced not too salty has some sweetness to it. The herbs in the broth is not too strong... the neat was tendar and a good ratio... they give you slotnof noodles like double the amount of a regular pho place. They also have lots of other Vietnamese dishes... rice places and noodles... the staff very friendly they get busy during dinner time.

If they no English they very goodVast majority of people leaving negative reviews cant make any of these dishes from scratch. This place is as good as Grandmas house. My grandpa takes me here all the time since he first immigrated here and he swears by this place.Another equally good place to check out is Hoa Viet. Again, these places have been in business far longer than Yelp or Google ever existed, little negative reviews wont do much except for the new generation that are dependent on phones and ordering food.

This restaurant use to be my all time go to eat out and order food for my family. Today I order the vermicelli pork through the grubhub app, I order 3 of them for work and the delivery was good and the driver was nice, the only thing that really disgusted me and made me lose my appetite was when one of the food had someones hair in it, I didnt notice anything until I started digging in into the rice, thats when I saw the long strand of black hair covered in rice. Another thing about this delivery is that the pork didnt even looked cooked it had liked the hair of the pig(long strands) of it sticking out of the pork. My first thought was, parasites but I contacted the grubhub and the headquarters and soon going to get my refund. Also, the pork looked like it was made the other day and they just re-heated the meat instead of making it freshly cooked..so for anyone ordering at this restaurant, I suggest looking throughly of your food when your about to eat.

Poor service today. Not sure whats going on but didnt even get my order right. My thai ice coffee was filled up mostly with ice. Had them make me another without alot of ice but they only took took out some ice and it doesnt even look like what i paid for. It looked half drink since they took out some of the ice. They just added and i mean a little coffee to it to make it look full but still wasnt. There was more noodles than it usually has on my vermicelli so the sauce wasnt even enough for it. Old facility but clean. Food is authentic Vietnamese. Quite delicious. Nice to see an ethnic and specialized cuisine created by people who understand the importance of the root origin of the cuisine and not abandon it to Western tastes. Vietnamese cuisine made by Vietnamese chefs are generally the real deal in taste and presentation. Prices are very reasonable for realistic food portions.

Well,. I just happened to order delivery from this restaurant by chance. Had rare beef pho never having had it before. It was absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh as were the noodles and condiments. Well, like I said already, it was just delish. Have had it again along with the rice paper shrimp roll... delicious and beautiful. Dipping sauce delish. If you havent guessed by now we will be back. Picked up our last order at the restaurant. It was nice, staff was friendly. Will try some of the other dishes next time. Yes parking is an issue but will manage no matter what. All and all a good place.

It gets busy here. And the parking gets a little crazy here. When the parking is filled, its a bit hectic to find a spot to park. There is homeless people roaming around this spot alot so be careful. The food isnt as good as it used to be 😔🙃

I cant rate the service and food individually, so I am rating it a 3. The food is always great, there are times when the pho is bland, but its rare that it happens. The food overall I would rate it as a 4.5. Now, for the customer service, it has gotten worse. I do notice that when the owners are here, services are fast and the portion size are quiet generous. When thw owners are absent, service wait time for water and order taking can be anywhere from a minimum of 10 minutes or more. Service rating would be a 2 for me. But regardless of the poor service, my family and I enjoy the food here so we always come back. We just tip if the service was under 10 minutes, if its over or we have missing items, we give no tips.

The lady waxing my eyebrows, and wasnt even able to focus on what she was doing, she got a little bit fo wax on my lip, and when she put the waxing paper on the warm wax she also got the paper on my lip where the wax was, and when it came off,or ripped off, she took a bit of lip off,and my lip started bleeding, she didnt even apologized, she said that my lip was chapped, and thats it! Worst service I have ever encountered in a Vietnamese Restaurant. If there were zero stars, Id rate the restaurant that. After our party of 4 was seated, our server forgot about us. When she finally came back around, she took orders for other parties that were seated after us. We waited a long time to get our food and when we finally got our food, they forgot the rest of our order. Two of us got our food while the other two watched as we ate. We had to flag our server down to ask for the other dishes. We asked for extra veggies twice for our soup and was denied that. We were told that they were busy and that we had enough for 2 people. We ordered 3 noodle soups. We asked for fish sauce and soy sauce and never got any. When we went to pay for our food, they saw us but never came to help us. They were so busy catering to takeouts that they did not care to service dine in customers. Good luck to anyone who goes there! I would never recommend this place to anyone!

Wow what a find this place is. They have a chef there. Wonderful Vietnamese dishes and also wonderful Chinese dishes. We had barbecue pork wonton noodle soup which was as Good as it gets. Chow fun was excellent but next time I would get the black bean chow fun. Ribs were amazing. When we went there they didnt answer the phone so dont be discouraged just go there and order.

Just picked up an order today for my mom and their customer service was terrible. My fault for tipping already when I paid before receiving the order. Owner doesnt care about customers. He acts like he has better things to do. Waited 30 minutes without any updates on the order. Within that time, I saw: an employee come into the restaurant, & immediately touching takeout orders without washing his hands, 2 customers calling in to say they didnt receive correct orders, a takeout customer who was given the dish he didnt receive last night. When I finally got the food, I checked and it wasnt what I ordered. The owner told me thats what I ordered and turned away. Got a partial refund. The wife is nice but doesnt handle customer service issues. Never going again.

This place is SO GOOD! The food is so fresh and such high quality. We love coming in for the soups (although the entrees are great too). The Pho is good but I definitely suggest trying the roasted pork noodle and dumpling soup or the roasted duck soup with egg noodles. This place is right around the corner from my house so we eat there often (over 20 times since moving in two years ago) and we have never had a bad meal. Definitely worth a visit!

I cant say how much I love this restaurant. We have tried so many dishes and everything is always great. My personal favorite is the charbroiled pork rice plate or vermicelli bowl. All of their souls are delicious and tried one of their noodle bowls for the first time. It was great. Their egg rolls are a must have everytime I go. You can not beat the prices of this place!

We did not get our full order (food or drinks) and had to ask multiple times for refills, extra lime, the rest of our food, etc. Plus at the time we placed the order we asked for extra noodles, steamed rice (and chicken which we were charged for but didnt get in the pho), but had to ask an additional 3 times before someone actually brought it. I wont go back again due to the service and mediocre quality of the food compared to price. Im giving them 2 stars (instead of 1) because they get points for making a great Thai Tea.

Portions are huge, (I cant finish the medium bowl!) plenty of servers around and not long of a wait although they are always busy. Pho has diminished in flavor over time. It used to have some of the best pho in Sac.Food is inconsistent. There are times in which the food is delicious and times that its straight up garbage.The shakes are inconsistent as well. There are times in which the shakes would be perfectly blended and other times where it would taste like straight condensed milk.Looking forward for good food is a gamble here. Took my family and I here since it was there first time visiting Sacramento. I’ve been coming here for the longest time. We came in one fine day and waited 45 minutes for our food, we were dining in. Another family came in and got there food in 10-15 minutes. When I asked the guy up front how did they get there pho before we did. This man literally looked at me and told me they forgot. Prior to that I asked about our food 2 times and why it was taking so long. On top of that I found an eyelash in my spring roll and we witnessed another family pull out 2 strings of hair from there pho. One from the moms bowl and another from here daughters. They don’t wear hairnets back there. Plus there bathrooms were filthy! I’ve been coming here since I was a teenager, but after that man blatantly looked me dead in my eyes and told me they forgot about our food like it happens all the time! Naw bruh! Y’all need to get it together back there. Even if y’all do I won’t be coming back to find out. Inspect your food if y’all choose to eat here.

The plates/bowls sometimes are dirty with dried up crumbs stuck to them. Good food, but dont have a la carte dishes. My husband wanted one big dish of just charbroiled pork, and the waitress either didnt understand or just tried to say that they dont do orders like that. The egg rolls were the best Id ever had, but their parrot fish had swim bladder disease. They are being over fed, but I could not communicate this well with the working staff. Employees at registers are not very honest. My family went there, and my sister paid in secret. So close to when we were done eating, I went to pay and the same guy at the register was willingly going to have me pay until my sister yelled across the room. I thought it was an honest mistake. But two nights later, I took my boyfriend and his friend out to Pho Saigon, and they tipped themselves an additional five bucks!! I called, and the lady apologized and asked me to pickup the five bucks the next day. This is an amazing place Carl and I got there about 1, right after the lunch crowd. Though busy, we were seated right away and given our menus to peruse. They brought us out edmame, perfectly chilled and seasoned.They have a fairly big menu. So we had a hard time just deciding what to choose. We ordered some hot tea while we browsed their offerings. Pho in various types are available here. Choices included rice, rice noodles and more. Beef, chicken or pork broths are offered. You may choose your noodles, your broth be and your meat or seafood selections.Finally after 20 minutes, we chose the first option. I had mine with steak slices. Carl chose chicken. He also picked extra spicy and I opted for the medium spicy.The pho was served in big deep bowls. Goodness, they were filled to the top with this perfectly seasoned beef/chicken broth. The noodles were tender and took on the flavour of the broth. Carrots celery chard and beef all came together in a lovely medley of textures and flavour. They also brought out a small plate of sliced, fresh jalapenos and argula. Perfect!I had ordered a bowl of extra noodles. So I was able to enjoy my pho the next day! If you are craving a nice hot steaming bowl of really good Pho, dont miss these guys. Friendly service and very good soups, Bento Boxes and a great array soups! Pho Saigon is a decent Vietnamese restaurant thats conveniently open until later in the night. Usually, its hard to find Vietnamese restaurants that are open after 10 PM so I was pleasantly surprised to find this one. They serve most of your usual Vietnamese cuisine but are missing one important dish.. BROKEN RICE! Despite this, I went ahead and ordered the rice with pork chop to go and found it to be quite good. I lived in Sacramento from 2005 to 2008 and I agree when people say this really is the best PHO I have ever eaten. Ive travelled around the country and have yet to find a PHO that is equal to this one. When I first tried it that morning it was so good I came back that evening because I kept thinking about it. Now I search the country tasting different varieties of PHO and I have not yet found the one as good as the one I had in Sacramento. The food is not that great. My chicken was bad and all my lettuce was bitter. Couldnt even finish what I had on my plate. Probably wont come here again.
