I was nervous to make the drive because I was skeptical that this restaurant would actually be open late night. But we got there around 1:30am and had the best vegetarian Pho ever. So glad we went and will definitely try to make it back some time… morning afternoon or late night, it’s always the right time for Pho!

This place was always the most affordable and best local 24hr pho spot for late night/early mornings with friends ever since I was a teenager. It’s too expensive here now and not as fresh. Old basil, sprouts, brown lime etc. $15 for what used to be a $5 bowl is crazy, not to mention tea pot, drinks etc. have all gone up. The servers are extremely rude, talk about you when they think you do not understand them.. Shame.. 😒

A lot of customers even past 2am. Friendly and fast service, clean interior. Great tasting fresh pho, big portion of protein, fresh vegetables with very reasonable price, served hot. Who can give less than 5 stars here? Definitely my go-to after midnight.

Go-to for late night. All the Vietnamese food you want, usually quick service( cause it gets packed weekend nights), never disappointed though. **Cash only. Atm available inside. Make sure to tip %20!! Or else! Gotta get the filet mignon pho, cant go back to tai... ask for thinly sliced onions drenched in vinegar on the side to eat with pho, my dad taught me right. Love you pops. Featured below; bo luc lac(shaken beef), bun bo hue(spicy beef noodle) and pho filet mignon.

# 35 Pho Thanh was so good I forgot to take a picture it cam out on a sizzling platter so be careful when they set it down. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly. Cant say enough the place is beautiful, the staff was kind and the food was awesome.

Love that I can get pho at 3am during late night adventures and its always fresh and tasty. The broth isnt too strong and is clean which I like. The meats are a lot and huge pieces they add which make me love it more. Recommend.

They are open 24/7, so you know where to go when you got a late night pho fix. They have been doing this for many years so they got this 24/7 system down. The service is fast and the pho soup orders come out pretty quick. Pho broth is good (we’ve had better, but quality competition is fierce), and will always continue eating here.

I was excited to find a Pho place thats open past 10pm. However, the food was not as exciting. I got the Large pho that had 3 different kinds of meats and the only thing that was tasteful was the rice noodles. I also got a Thai Tea and kid you not, I received an 8 oz cup that cost me $4! They dont accept cards and its cash only so, that was a thumbs down for me too since thats highly inconvenient. Wish it was great, but its not and I wont be returning.

Big olrestaurant, few customers, Caucasian patrons sitting next to us complained about the intensity of the spice, food tasted bland to me, a little soul-less compared to any other pho a dime drop away, broth was colder than expected, menu prices clearly give a false sense of a 50% discount, in a nutshell :Pho Thanh is more creative in its unethical business models than it is in its culinary techniques.

Very quiet and peaceful place! Went with my family and it felt like it was just us /pos. The employees are a little hard to signal for (you have to call them) but they’re very nice. Food came out fast and was tasty (as usual). I’d recommend the phó and the iced coffee!

Bad service, the bearded waiter looked a bit tall, he was very rude and irritable, and cursed at me just because I asked for the bill. Also the food is horrible, I ordered Bun Bo Hue for clear broth, not greasy broth because my stomach is weak, but they brought out a lot of greasy broth, I ordered 1 cup of tea, they made me order teapot. I said it again, but they ignored it. And my brother ordered the Special Pho and they brought out a bowl of pho which was mostly shredded meat and looked horrible. Overall a terrible experience, Vietnamese food is horrible, I will never come back here.

Bad customer service, the broth taste just like water, no flavor at all. Pho ap chao was horrible, supposed to be crunchy not soggy, noodles was drown in the sauce, way too much sauce, instead of listen to the advice from the customer, the manager gave me a bad attitude, and talk back not admit their mistake. How do you feel when you paid for the foods that you can not eat? Never come back to this place.

Woman with dyed brown hair ponytail gave so much attitude. We asked for a size change on the same order, so it isnt even a big adjustment. She started shaking her head and looking at us and then going to the back and rant. When they came w the food, we said thank you, no response.The only reason there’s a 2nd star is because it’s 24 hrs and i know that is difficult for a business. Other than that customer service is horrible and unfriendly.Run a business if you want a business. Will not be returning.

I cant speak for most of the menu, but the pho is tasty, plentiful, and cheap. The egg rolls are tasty as well. However, these only partially make up for lack of cleanliness. It makes a person nervous when some silverware is noticeably dirty, and the replacements are only slightly cleaner. Although we didnt get sick, its still highly disgusting and unsanitary. It makes a person wonder why else may not be properly washed, etc.Service is a bit lacking also. Getting anyone to help you after youve ordered is somewhat of a chore. You really need to flag them down, sometimes going all the way to the cashier.As others have noted, water isnt free like at almost all other restaurants. Its not going to break the bank, its $0.50 a cup, but it should be stated somewhere.Overall, I cant really say its a great place to go unless youre starving, low on cash, and its extremely late out (its open 24 hrs).

Decent food. I got a small Thai tea when I ordered a regular one, the cups are small. The bathroom is not clean, the soap dispenser didnt work and I had to dip my fingers in the liquid soap, now imagine how many people did that before me when they needed soap to wash their hands. All bathroom stalls had no toilet seat covers. One of the employees was wearing crocks, now Im sure they were non slip but going in and out of the kitchen with those doesnt seem safe since they had holes on top and you can see the gentlemans foot. Not a sanitary place.

I love Pho, unfortunately there are no Pho restaurants where I live (Aliso Viejo) that are open past 9pm or 10pm. This pace is open 24 hours so thats a big plus for me. The restaurant is very nice inside and clean. They take cash only so bring cash, if not they have an ATM machine but youll get charged $2.25 per withdrawal. Service was good and fast, the food was awesome, worth the drive

Went today and had the meatball pho! Super yummy and the meatball was more tender than the meatball at most pho places. They are open for dine in and take out. I am not sure about delivery. I tried to detail to them that they are havent updated their Google page to say accepting Dine In so there arent as many customers. Im not sure they understood what I said but I tried lol If you can, please support them as their prices are really reasonable ($7.50 for a large pho) and they need all the support they can get right now! :)

This place is open 24/7 and thats honestly the selling point for Pho Thanh.After a crazy night out at Downtown Fullerton, my friends and I were looking for a place to grab a bite. Granted, this was a little out of the way for us, but we decided to come here because we knew the menu was 50% off.Im not going to lie when I say that $5.25 is a great deal for Pho, but I also know that they purposely increase the regular price of Pho to $10 just so they can make it sound like a half-off deal is a steal. Still, I do think its a decent price for the portion you get and thats what will make me come back for more.I came here at about 3:30AM and it was a full house! I didnt know if it was because of the lunar new year, but the guests also didnt look like your drunken, college crowd either so Im going to guess that this busy pace is very typical for their restaurant. I find that quite interesting, actually, as a majority of their clientele were middle aged adults with party sizes of 6 or more.Some of the things I dont like about Pho Thanh include:* Their dirty bathroomsIm not sure how or why its so difficult for woman to simply clean up after themselves, or why I have to put toilet paper on the floor because theres piss on the floor and I dont want to step on it, but I do also believe that their employees should do a better job of maintaining the cleanliness of their restrooms. I saw way too many cobwebs looking up and it honestly looked just as bad as your horror gas station bathroom stalls.* Their 50 cent charge for waterLook, I get that theres a drought and that we should be conserving water. But if youre going to drop a pitcher of water on my table and not tell me that youre going to charge 50 cents PER PERSON, thats just inconsiderate. Not to mention the fact that we obviously DRANK the water so we cant even dispute the charge. I wish there was more transparency with this... and certainly no reason to charge someone for tap water...The last note is that this is a CASH ONLY restaurant!!! Please keep this in mind for your next visit.Overall, Pho Thanh does a decent job at providing decent food at a decent price. While its not on my top list of restaurants that would satisfy the drunchies, I would consider coming back here if I were craving pho at the odd hour.

The only reason to come here simply because its the only place that is open at 330am. It was a full house, j guess you do have the advantage to be opened 24 hrs. Although it was a fu ll house, orders were taken very quickly....however, it took 35 minutes for actual foods to be served, and they were all pho nothing special . When it comes to tastes...it wont be my first second or third choice, imo

Very bad service and the noodles soup was cold the minutes they brought it to me. The meats smell very bad. I told the server about it and they still charge me for it even though I didnt eat it. I found this place on a whim after attempting to get phó at a different place, which was quickly thwarted by an abundance of lines outside other establishments, waiting to even get in. Not this place though. I walked right in with no line to stall my hunger any further and immediately got a seat. The waitress took my order quickly and not long after, was satisfied with my delicious bowl of phó I had been craving to cure my hangover.

I was recommend this place by a friend because they’re pho is really good, off the bat I called in at work to order for pick up and I work in Down town Santa Ana To save me some time of waiting to for my order they said It’ll be ready in 5 minutes so I make my way over and the whole time the girl in the front could not understand my English well and just tried to show me the menu and move me to the side. I kept on explaining I was there to pick up an order to later find out they don’t have any pho at all And I’m like okay ? Then who took my order? We were hungry at 11pm on a Friday and EVERYTHING in OC was closed except fast food! You gotta love the OC where at the stroke of 10 PM, everything stops. We headed to Little Saigon to Pho Thanh because its open 24/7. We saw some other Pho places open on the way, and agreed that they didnt seem too busy. When we visit Asian restaurants, we usually feel that the busier it is, the better it is. At 11:30pm Pho Thanh must have had 60 people in it!!Does the perfect Pho place exist? I am beginning to think not. And the reasons it isnt are due to minor things or annoyances. The decor is plain and bright. Mostly Asian diners. IThe first thing that is great about this place are the condiments They have all the right ones. Not only do they have the Sriracha Chili Paste in a bottle, but the have the coarser, ground one with garlic in the jar. They also have satay sauce in a jar! The only thing that was missing was the Chinese pepper instead of regular black pepper.Notice the authentic and complete veggie condiments. Look how they have the Gai (saw leaf) herb. So many places never have this. Since this place must do so much volume, everything is so fresh! The basil was so green and crispy along with everything else. They bring this to you right when you sit down. I like this because you can get to work tearing it up so you can put it torn up in your soup right when it arrives so it has a chance to steep. Too many places bring it with the Pho or (gasp!) even after it arrives!I ordered the #1 special combination Pho with rare beef, cooked brisket, tendon, tripe. My chick had the Chicken Pho. We ordered egg rolls too with 1 coke and 1 iced tea.First came the Pho. How come so many of these places dont understand what an appetizer is and that it should be brought out first?! My Pho came out right away; before the appetizer! Notice how perfect it is though! Notice how the rare meat is actually rare. Yet the broth is scalding hot! Then tendon is surrounded by gelatinous goodness and lots of green onion. The flavor of the broth is the most complex I have had in a while (and I have tried probably 20 Pho places in OC). Every flavor is so strong, but they all work together. You can taste the ginger a little more than the rest, but I like this. Strong anise, lemongrass, and a slight fish sauce flavor. All with a perfect sweetness to it. Absolutely stunning. Noodles are firm, yet silky. The dont clump together like some places. The meat was so tender and such a treat to have it so rare when its not ordered on the side. The tendon is like eating a melting, chewy morsel that literally melts in your mouth. The tripe is flavorful, crisp and chewy.My Chicks chicken was the chicken they pull from the bone. Not like the places that use processed chicken. As a matter of fact some of the bones were still in there. Another small annoyance. A great strong chicken flavor in the broth as well.Another small annoyance is that the portions are a little small in my opinion. They are not small, but they are not large. How much more would it cost to toss in a little more broth and noodles? Maybe its because this stuff is so good, I always want more?You have to pay for water if you ask for it and it comes in tiny bottles (I think 4 oz). A soft drink is $1.00 and comes in a tiny 8 oz glass. NO refills. This is pretty annoying and the only thing I really hate about this place. Its not worth it to be that stingy to your customers.Next came the egg rolls half way through our Pho meal. Sorry about the bad picture. Notice how much lettuce you get. This is critical as most places always jack you on the lettuce and you never have enough to wrap all the egg rolls with. Also it came with lost of cilantro sprigs. A nice dipping sauce as well. They were not greasy and very light. But not a lot of flavor. I felt it could have used more filling in the inside. I would put these as averageOur total bill was $20.00 as I tipped horribly as I dont feel you get any service. They bring everything out to you and then they are DONE with you.

My parents and i visited this place while we were vacationing in cali. the owners and employees were incredibly nice and attentive. food was delicious. we had the crawfish and corn, and their amazing pho. they even gave us free desserts! we took home a few business cards of theirs to share w friends and family bc the food and service was fantastic! loved it! will be coming back this year for more!

You get charged 50 cents for water here. The Pho broth is very bland. It was warm though so it had that going for it and had a good portion of meat my noodles were gone before the meat and I usually do a 1:1 noodle:meat ratio while eating my Pho. I went in the evening there were guests aplenty.

The wait lady, was not friently, she throwing the place mats and chopsticks on the table, with a cold looking face. We request to make our soup extra hot for due to past experienced, that they are just warm, and she snap back to us, that their soup always come out hot. Cheap, authentic pho. I dont like how they charge for water and the specialty dishes seems to be a little on the expensive side. I only recommend the egg rolls and the pho here.
