I would just like to mention, the reviews on this place are TOO CRITICAL!!!! the food was cheap for its quality AND a lot of people talk about the shrimp being unseasoned or unsliced simply because they IGNORED THE DIPPINGS AND SEASONINGS!!!! Would highly recommend.Food takes 7 minutes to come in and has great quality as well, (personally recommend the fried rice!!!)

This place has been reopened not too long ago. I really enjoy the atmosphere. Their p1, special combo pho has been one of my favorite. Along with the vermicelli and rice specialty with chicken or pork.Their broth is the best in Goleta and even Santa Barbara county!

Decided to try this semi-new pho restaurant and was pleasantly surprised! i ordered the chicken pho with a roll on the side and it was perfect. plenty of well-cooked tender chicken and the broth was delicious as well. the best pho ive had yet!service was solid as well, the owner is very nice and seemed highly knowledgeable about the food.location is great, not crowded at all and has a nice open area inside for seating.overall a great experience and a must go to place if you want sb countys best pho.

We discovered this hidden gem 3 years ago when we were looking for a quick Asian lunch after going to Costco. This is the first time after the pandemic that we have been back. They have good safety protocol. The lunch was quickly served and the price was inexpensive. We enjoyed our lunch and will come back again.

On the plus side, the customer service was great. I thought the Pho broth was decent, but the meatballs were rather firm, and the rare beef was a bit tough. The price wasnt bad though.

This noon time, I have a bowl of noodles in Phamous Cafe. I ate out a hair about 2 inches long. I picked up and put aside on the table and go on eating. Then I found ANOTHER hair that is as long as a FOOT. I am so upset about the hairs noodles since I have been this pho restaurant almost once a week and always have a bowl of it. I dont know what I had eaten before and what were hidden in the noodles that I ignored. I pointed out the hairs issues to the manager but they are very impolite and doesnt show any sorry to me. I will never be Phamous Cafe ANYMORE!

I used to love this place when they made their own bread for bahn mi. They were the only Vietnamese restaurant in town that served bahn mi, giving them an important niche. Now theyve switched to using La Brea baggetts its just nowhere near what it used to be. Unfortunately, their pho is kind of one-dimensional as it is dominated by onion while lacking the anise and other flavors I associate with good pho. The rice dishes are good on occasion. For alternatives in pho and plated meals, try Noodle City and Saigon Noodle House.The staff is quite friendly. There are nice high tables by the window where you can read while enjoying lunch.

Banh Mi hits the spot! Fresh Baguette, perfect crunch with soft chewiness. My go to is grilled pork banh mi, with side pho broth. Pho is great too.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Love the pho broth — much less salty than from other places in town, and tastier. Also a big fan of their bun dishes and their banh mi sandwiches, which they make on their fresh, in-house baked bread. By far the best bang for your buck, and generally great grub. Cheers!

What a great place. We came pretty late with a bunch of edgy kids who spent too many hours in the car. Our server was extremely patient, was around exactly when we needed and was very fast. The food was great. We had a few of the veggie dishes and the only disappointing thing was that there was no veggie broth. Would love to stop by again.

BEST Pho soup I have had in Santa Barbara. Their restaurant area is clean and the staff are very friendly and nice and quick. Food is great. They really need to pay attention to their bathroom though. :-( Oh, and I love their Thai iced tea also!

Good service for takeout. The price of the chicken pho is $2 higher than another nearby noodle place. I guess because they give you a nice, big take out bowl. The broth was a little bland. I had to put in a bunch of fish sauce when I got home.

We love Phamous Cafe. The service is excellent and the Pho always tastes amazing with fresh ingredients. I typically order Pho Ga (chicken) and it’s never tough like it was frozen. Also, this restaurant is nice and clean - not filthy like some others in town.

Amazing. Each and every time. I can only speak for the pho, but I can say it is the best in town (yes better than Noodle City) because of the consistency of the broth, quality of the ingredients (never soggy bean sprouts!), and genuine service. You wont be disappointed.

The pho here is spot on! The broth was flavorful and aromatic. The meat quality was on the average side. You do get your moneys worth plus some from a $$ per quantity - always a big plus in my book. I also tried their bun cha which was okay...stick to the pho if you come here you wont be disappointed.

Decent food. Poor service. Undoubtedly, this is the best place in goleta to get pho. My Vietnamese friends exclusively go here for pho. However, if youre not prepared for a wait, though, dont bother. It took forever for them to take our order. Once they did, they forgot our tea and spring rolls. The condiment plate with our bean sprouts was skimpy. Paying was a nightmare. We couldnt get there attention to get the check or for them to take our card. Im hoping this was just a bad day because I love good pho.

My wife and I have been enjoying Pho ever since we moved to Goleta. We started at another place in town, but once we found Phamous Cafe we have no reason to go back to the other place. The prices are a little more than one other place in town but the portion and quality are much better!This place has amazing Spring Rolls, Pho, Rice Vermicelli, Rice plates and Sandwiches.Our go to is 2 spring Rolls (Each spring roll is like 3 spring rolls from noodle city), Large Rare Beef Pho, and Pork Vermicelli.This place has the best Pho in Goleta!*Note the service can sometimes be fairly bad, but the food always makes up for it.

I am away from home attending UCSB and as a Vietnamese person I naturally had a craving for some pho. Missing my moms cooking, I came here for a quick reprieve from a wave of homesickness. I had the pho dac biet here. The broth was overly salty and heavy. The broth also tasted as if it was made with bouillon instead of bone. Not enough veggies were given. I was only given a handful of beansprouts, about 6 leaves of basil, and one wedge of lime. The staff was nice, but the food did not satisfy me as I still craved pho and felt homesick after I finished eating.

This is one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the Santa Barbara - Goleta area. Their Phở and Bánh Mì are recommended here. Good service. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee is hit-and-miss here as they sometimes do not have real condensed milk.
