Best homefries and Omelettes. The service is always great. The only negative is the coffee, its weak. I wish they would get a more high-quality bold flavor. But the food is amazing. I go here all the time, I love it. I lay awake thinking about their potatoes.

Fast courteous service! Had breakfast on Saturday afternoon and got a table right away. Phebies Cafe was busy but waitress greeted us right away and took our drink order. Just minutes after getting our drinks, we placed our food order and it arrived promptly. Prices are affordable and servings are generous. Everything was good but was hoping the biscuits and gravy were better based on the recommendations friends gave me. It’s rare to get great biscuit n gravy and Phebies being good I wasn’t too disappointed. Overall 5 stars! Great job and great staff! I ordered “the hungry traveler” 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausages and hash browns, pancakes and biscuits and gravy for $14.99, Which is pictured in my review. If you are looking for all American breakfast and want good food without the poor service you usually get at the franchise restaurant and typically have to wait for seating, I recommend Phebies Cafe. Im new to the area and looking good places to eat out on the weekends. Here at Phebies the servers were very nice and the food was like it was home made. I will definitely be coming back.
The waitresses were nice and check up on your table periodically. The place was busy for breakfast, glad I left a little early. The steak was juicy and yummy along with the hash browns. I like egg yolk for added vitamin. The portions were a good size. Come with a big appetite. Good place to eat.

1st time. Went with my adult kids. The food was good, fast enough and the waitress was very nice. They closed at 2pm and we were there at a little after 1pm but we still got to eat plus you get a good amount for your buck. I was not disappointed. Try the biscuit and gravy too. Yummy 😋.

Amazing food, but usually so busy that the service suffers. The seats are uncomfortable due to their age, they need to update things some. The food and portions make up for all of that and then some ijs. One of the best breakfast restaurants in the AV and one of my favorite go-tos for many years.
Easy to get into, with plenty of parking. Service was friendly, and very quick. It wasnt crowded when I went, about half full.I had the steak (ordered medium rare) and egg (ordered soft poached), with home fries.Sorry to say, both the steak and eggs were over cooked. Not badly, but its day the steak was medium bordering on medium well, and the eggs were hard poached with the you pretty much solid. That said, the steak was well seasoned and tender, which shows they use very high quality ingredients.Ill definitely go back; even overcooked, everything was delicious, and mistakes happen. Ill update this review after I eat there again!

We just finished having breakfast here for the first time, well worth the short drive from Hwy 14. We had the veggie omelette with home fries and pancakes- everything was excellent! The woman working there was so nice, she new all of the locals by name and what they wanted to order- super impressive. We will definitely be back when were driving through this area.

We had breakfast here this morning and it was beyond delicious! Better than weve had in the past. Our server was super friendly and even though she had other customers she was very attentive to us. The chicken fried steak was so good and the best biscuits and gravy besides homemade. If youre hungry, go to phebies Cafe you wont be disappointed.

My father has been going here for years, back when it was Karens kitchen. I finally went with him, and Im so glad I did! First off the waitress we had was great, and very attentive. I didnt have to ask for refills the entire time, because she kept my glass full. The food is slightly more expensive than Dennys but the quality and quantity far outweigh the increase in cost. I would definitely recommend and I personally will be going back soon.
Food not cooked properly I notified them and they did not care cups and plates are dirty aswell tables not sanitized before one grabs a seat left my full plate due to undercooked food and they still made me pay full price took of tax and said its the best they can do I do not recommend waste of money high chances of getting sick at this location
Love the staff and the food. Fantastic pancakes and my favorite is the California omelet and home fries. They ask if you want onion and bell peppers in the home fries and I love that I can just get onion!

Price of a cup of coffee excellently overpriced at $3.19. Jack In The Box the same coffee cost .53 cents. I havent been going in to Phebies because of there excessive high prices. Im giving Phebies 5 stars do to the fact that we actually DIDNT EAT here but the waitress is a straight up G we were waiting for a table but some inpatient cat eating Chinese weenies were so inpatient kept jumping from table to table and the waitress had a table cleaned for us and them Chinese weenies straight jumped and sat in our table the waitress ran to them and told them that was our table and they didnt care still didnt move. I dont praise violence but thats why the Chinese get beat up for being ignorant and arrogant they have no manners.
Started off good when i walked in the door sat down my sister had lips on her coffee cup next water with lemon taste like pipes next the prices were pricey next eggs were cooked to hard next the meat was to dry and hard to cut with a steak knife always wanted 2 try it but now that i have i wont again they get a lot of business tho 🙃

Despite what the world is going through with covid restrictions and outside dining, Phebie’s diner is doing fantastic. Outside dining couldn’t be more comfortable with larger outside area and portable heaters for containers. And the food ugh is amazing as always. They always have spot on service and the food is tasty! Theyre open from 6am-2pm Sunday-Saturday. We had friends order for us because we arrived at 1:45, many places may not give you great service because theyre about to get off, but they were wonderful, friendly and our delicious food was served quickly.I ordered the Hot Cakes special, aka 2 pancakes, eggs scrambled, sausage and bacon. I prefer my sausage a bit firm, well cooked and it was spot on. My pancakes were soft, airy and delicious! My sister ordered the Denver omelette with hash browns with a side of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, thick, but cant gravy and they didnt disappoint! Id have to say theyre up there with Crazy Ottos!Our friends ordered the waffle combo with Sunny side up eggs sausage and bacon. My other friends got the Homestyle fries scrambled eggs and bacon with biscuits and gravy. MmMmm! If you havent been there yet, make sure to go, youll be satisfied!
I really like this place. The food is great, the service is excellent, the restaurant is clean and the price is right. The only thing I dont like are the pancakes, they taste like they have to much butter milk, weid aftertaste.
I have never tried a Phoebies dish. I always by this place on Ave. K. I wonder why does it close at 1 pm? isnt that very early. I wish I had some after work time. Thanks. :)

Rustic charm, lovely but not overpowering decorated, very clean and nice & fast service.Hash browns are really good, not that fat dripping stuff you know from some chain restaurants. Here they’re crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.My kid loved the fruit option and my husband cleaned every crumb off of his plate. Even the waitress noticed :D

We had the eggs Florentine and the Hungry Traveller, all yummy! Be warned… Hungry Traveller is probably enough food to feed 2-3 people.Bravo to Phebies cafe because it was cleanlier than a lot of other breakfast spots in the area. We’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu.
