Is the best bahn mi in South LA county. I havent been to all of them, but this is my favorite from the ones Ive been to. The lychee smoothie was amazing, too!

Got the pork vermicelli with egg roll. I got 1 little eggroll that tasted old and double fried. I didn’t like the pork, flavors were different from other Pho joints. Doesn’t taste authentic.

Hungry for a quick lunch? Come here for a vegan yummy meal. They have several items available for vegans but unfortunately their boba isn’t vegan friendly. I ordered the vegan Banh MI sandwich was made fresh and warm on the softest roll. Delicious!

I travel all over and Pho 1945 is the tops! The broth is so clean and the serving size is amazing! I eat there 2-3 times a week. I have turned so many people on to their pho! Do yourself the favor and go there. Amazing flavor and delicious experience. Theyre so polite and humble when they have every reason not to be. Their pride is in their food. Omg. Its delicious and worth it every time.

I got the seafood pho 🍜 it was nasty 🤮 it also only had 1 shrimp 🍤! I also ordered a Thai iced tea without boba 🧋 and they still charged me $4.99 😳 it’s my first and last time here! It used to be good! The flavor still OK but the ladies in charge are not friendly, not fast, cant prioritize and their hygiene standards are very low even with covid around, a customer order avocado roll and one of the ladies made the roll without washing her hands, after touching her mask, fixing her hair, touching everything around her!!!I canceled my order and left!!

I just tried this place a few nights ago and I was impressed. The beef gyoza was delicious and the dipping sauce was very well seasoned. I had the Beef Fried Rice and it was delicious as well. I thought the green beans were a great addition to fried rice, since most restaurants do not put it in fried rice. I enjoyed it. Also, they were very generous with the amount of beef they mixed in with the fried rice. The rice came with a small, simple side salad that had a good dressing on it. I plan to return here soon and try the Vermicelli.

We actually came here for the Poke - which was very good. Basically, you get to build your own bowl from start to finish. That includes 10+ items that you can put in with without additional charge. They have regular and large sizes. The regular ($8.99) comes with two scoops of protein and the large ($12.99) has for scoops but the size of the bowls for regular and large are the same. I went with the regular but in retrospect I should have gone with the large. I felt the regular had very little fish. For $8.99, its forgiveable but next time Ill get the large.

Love that you can get a small Pho with a side of sushi for a reasonable price. Im often in the mood for both but dont want to pay for both, or waste a large bowl of Pho. Casual, relaxed atmosphere with a lot of options. Ill be back here for sure when the sushi/pho craving strikes again.

Very sad & disappointing for a place I used to love supporting- especially because it was a small business. As a fellow small business owner customer service and satisfaction should be first priority. I went in at about 8:10 pm with my daughter. The places closes at 9pm.... I sit down and am approached by a woman whos never served me before. I order a side of broth noodles and meat for my 3 year old, I always order my daughters good right away so that the kids food is out first and I can help her eat before mine. The woman says - no I can not do that. Assuming this is a misunderstanding- I say Im also going to order food but just want to get hers started. Still she refuses and stands there over me and also says I cannot order small sides for my kid. This is what I always order. I said ok fine I wont get her anything- their loss. Ill just share my soup with her. She forces me to order altogether because she wouldnt leave the table. At this point Im irritated and uncomfortable. Fast forward. Our food comes. My soup and the sides she told me I was not allowed to order. Within 10 minutes of getting our food and in mid bite she comes over and says I have to pay right now because they are closing the register. Fine! So I pay. Im not kidding you as soon as I paid I asked for change for cash tip (with my $10) and she says they have no change proceeds to pick up plates off the table. No change because she expected a big tip. I left very unhappy, still hungry and sad I will not be returning.

Not the best experience. I ordered over the phone and she says it will be 10 minutes. So good, so far. I arrive and the lady waits to welcomes me. After waiting for minutes, I ask her if my order is ready. She tries to get my payment first without answering the question. I ask again and then says it will be another 5 minutes. I tell her that I will go somewhere else. Then, she goes to the back. She comes back speak another language the entire time. Put my card on the counter after I gave it to her by hand. Soup is warm. We stood in line for 20 minutes just to be told they don’t take orders anymore. They close at 9pm, we got there at 8:20pm, waited in line until 8:42pm and when it was our turn, the kitchen was already closed. It would’ve been fine but the lady in the register was so rude about it. And they could’ve told us earlier that the kitchen was closed, rather than watch us wait for our turn to order.Do not support a place that don’t care about customers.

Great place to eat, impressed on the quality of their food on all food here. The Pho, banh mi and poki, delicious! I ate the Dumpling Pho yesterday, the Dumplings are fantastic with a good amount of garlic in them. I suggest putting these on the appetizer menu, pretty sure theyre gonna be a big seller. They also have a pleasant Iced Green Tea. So glad I live in the area, lets keep them here people!

I hate to do my 1st bad review but its outrageous to be waiting for the waitress for over 15min after she told us to sit, I understand they can be a bit busy, but she took the order of other guests 3 minutes after they arrived, very disappointed. She didnt apologize after we told her we were leaving, I came here due to the positive reviews I read.

When I entered it was three in the place. I Was sitting for about 8 mins before someone came over and took my order. Wasnt greeted at all, but all the other customers that entered were. No one checked to see if I needed anything and the only time anyone came over was to take my order and bring my bill. I cant help but to notice that I was the only black customer in the restaurant. All the other customers were greeted a soon as they entered, were checked on several times, and received a thank you on the way out. Not one word for me though but I dont have to wonder why. Im never ever coming back or bringing my business team over here. Treated very poorly. Im sure non black customers are treated properly from what I can see. Someone explain this in 2018

Very good Pho for a quick bite. Authentic green tea, great friendly service, easy to come in grab a seat and get a good solid meal even during peak lunch or dinner hours. Will definitely be coming back.

I had a really bad experience in the restaurant the people who were attending that day were really rude.They were trying to hurry us up to finish our food even though there was no customers. I did not had a good experience in that restaurant. The people who take your Order don’t do nothing they were just talking and they brought my order late. mostly was the people from the back kitchen who brought your things.They made my family and I feel unwanted.

Their hours say theyre open until 9 but I just sent my husband to pick up dinner and theyre closed? Its 6:30. Im giving it 4 stars because I love their pho when theyre open, its just such a dissapointment to have to go find somewhere else when youre expecting to give them the business. We are picky about our pho and just started going there often since we are new to the area! (At least write a note on the door explaining why youre closed if youre supposed to be open)

BEST phở and Bahn Mi in Southbay. Been coming here since 2014. I come back from Long Beach 🌴They offer vegetarian phở broth as well, its delicious and not too heavy. Everything here is good, poke bar too. Bahn Mi is 10 inches for $6 bucks, pork, beef, or chicken 🐷🐮🐔🌿🍚🍜 Everything here is a tasty deal. Get some!

Update: Came back after a killer gym sesh.. I must say, the Spring Rolls werent that great. They were ok. I got the one with shrimp. I also got a Pho soup #9 ( I think they gave me something else but whatever) the soup was ok. Wasnt bad but just ok. I would possibly only stick to the Banh Mi sandwhich.I came here on a day that I was hankering a Banh Mi sandwich. It was actually my 2nd bahn mi in my entire life. The last one I had was over 10yrs ago. Anyway, I got the banh mi sandwich and sushi combo. I think it came out to like $10 or $12..The sandwich was really good! I truly enjoyed it but I cant say I enjoyed the sushi as much. When you go there make sure you know what you really want. Not to much of a language barrier but I think the lady that was taking my order might of been having a bad day or something. She seemed a little upset. Besides that, everything else was good.Ill definitely be back for another sandwich or 2.. maybe even give the sushi another go.

I went to pho 1945 after reading the reviews to try pho for the first time in a while.We ordered two house special pho and an egg roll.The food that came out was lukewarm and tasted like it had been mixed with a lot of water.And the egg rolls are like buying ones sold at the market and rolling them up.The outside was crispy, but the inside was like vegetable porridge and watery.And the vegetables on the side were a small piece of lettuce, with a few small pieces of cucumber and carrot cut into small pieces, soaked in salt water, the size of a thumb.The amount was so small that even one person could barely eat it.The amount was so small that I was even embarrassed to ask for more.What was disappointing was the egg roll sauce.Its usually sweet and sour, but a little thick.This water was neither sweet nor sour nor thick, but sour and salty.We ordered extra onions and cilantro.When we entered, there was one person who had finished eating and was about to leave.It didnt look busy, but the onions and cilantro werent served until after paying.There was an unpleasant partThe house special pho had noodles that were stuck in a not-so-hot broth that didnt loosen up well, but I was able to endure it until I started chewing on half a meatball.The small half-meatball had such a foul smell that it was hard to eat it once in a year.For the first time in 25 years of living in the United States, I left with a zero tip.
