Got there at opening at on a hot day so it wasnt too busy. Service was prompt and the employees very polite. Very much enjoyed the pho and egg rolls. Ill definitely be back in Im in the area!
Been coming here for years but recently the old waitress(Korean Lady in her 50s) was very rude to my friend and I. We asked for onions but was faced with anger and frustration because we could only order one onion per table. I have no issue with paying extra for a few measly onions but the waitress was very rude yelling in our faces. The other waiter who was a kind gentlemen tried deescalating the situation by apologizing to us by explaining that he forgot to mention this onion “ rule ”and she was merely trying to teach him a lesson as he was a trainee. He actually wasn’t a trainee because I’ve seen him before as I’ve been coming for 8 years but I understand he told us that to make us feel better and make amends. Asking for more onions has never been an issue when I’ve come with my Korean family members, being a Korean myself I’ve always supported this place. I assume the onions were an issue because my friend that I was with is more darker skin toned and the lady wanted to find a stupid reason to cause a commotion. This is a common trait in older generation Koreans that have failed in life and live paycheck to paycheck. They take their resentment towards others because they’re upset about their lonely empty depressing life. Overall I’m never coming back here and I advise others the same.
Love this place! Workers are very nice and quick service. The food is always hot and fresh. Definitely recommend especially when you have a cold. It helps with congestion.
This Pho place was pretty damn good! Great service and pretty clean on the inside. There was a table or two outside in front near sidewalk but seemed pretty cozy. The prices were fair, around $15 total, per person including their drink. I would suggest you guys try it out, Enjoy!🤘💀🤘
Arrived at 7:50p.m. (10 minutes before closing with my wife and restaurant was about 60% full. After waiting five minutes at the table, we were told the kitchen is closed and we can not be served. I would not be as upset if I had not witnessed the table next to us just placing their order. They were not even been served their drinks yet.The owner has always been rude and waiters are unfriendly but, we kept going back (even during pandemic) in the hopes of them improving. Considering how many reviews talk about their unfriendly service, we thought (hoped) they would eventually get the message and improve. Not the case; and this one topped it all.Sad to say, they seem to prefer serving their asian customers and do not care about anyone else.If my wife had not asked me to let it go and not let their prejudice ruin our evening, I would have made such a scene that they would never forget.This is the last time I try them and will tell everyone who would listen about my experiences at this location.With that kind of attitude, you do not belong in Montrose.

I had took a carry out and the food was delicious. I The taste was amazing but I found a piece of hair on the bottom of my container of the rice noodles. It grossed me out wish it wasn’t there may not ever come back again !
Servers are nice and courteous. It is a very busy restaurant. We order fresh spring rolls and combo pho. Spring rolls were just okay, too much iceberg lettuce. Pho was okay. Stock lighter than traditional Pho. but on general okay.
Waiters were not friendly. While we were waiting for our food the other two tables were being served and I thought that was pretty unfair that they got their order and they arrived after us !! I asked one of the waiters wheres our food, we been waiting for almost 25 minutes and why the other tables got their order before us and we are still waiting!!The waiter didnt even apologize and our food arrived 10 minutes after!We felt ignored and she didnt even bother to ask if we need anything else!I had to leave no tips and I am not coming back. Worse service ever and felt humiliated!!
I recently visited with a few people during a weekday. There was no on at the place but it took awhile for the server to come and take our order, bring water and finally the check. They also didn’t get my order right. The young male and female were too busy on their phones. The food was good though but Not going back due to poor service.
If you are looking for a Pho restaurant Iwould Highly recommend this place! I ordered the chicken pho and it was So GOOD! It was Hot and the chicken was so fresh!! I also ordered the chicken spring wraps and they were also very good!! The customer service was Excellent! No waiting time and they seated us right away! You have to go check out this place! VERY GOOD and lots of food options!
Ok this was my first experience eating Pho and it was pretty good the restaurant is very tiny so it was a little difficult for me with my walker so if your like me and need assistance walking with a walker thus place will be kind of difficult unless you eat outside

Ive been here twice now and was very impressed with the menu, quality of food and small charm of the place as its small and never gets too loud. Im going again for lunch today as Im really in the mood for some soup after a crummy nights sleep!I strongly recommend you try it at least once or twice.
Delicious PHO is here. I am a fan of this soup and have tried it in many places. Here it is cooked especially tasty. Nice staff and comfortable atmosphere. Good location, you can find many other beautiful restaurants here.
Great food! The pho is fantastic, the pork egg rolls are amazing and the staff is always friendly and warm. They have all the dressings you could want for your pho (except soy sauce?) and give you a great place to start from. Prices are definitely reasonable, location is easy to find and the off-street parking right next door (says reserved for some pet place) is fine to park in after the pet place is closed. If you go during the day, there is a sizeable lot right around the corner that you should be able to find something in.
Pho isnt too shabby here but if youre going to sit outside be cautious. We ordered for our kids but told them we were waiting for a few more people, so they brought out kiddos order and then that was it. They never checked on us again. Not until 30 mins later when they came with the bill. SMH
This place used to be my must go place, but lately their food quality had been worsened and the portion of the noodles also had been reduced also. Sad. Never keep up with the same business mind when it first started.

Uuuuuu lala. I love pho noodle soup but some how this place makes it more delightful than any other place. It was so nice sitting outside after being in lock down for so long. The distancing and masks 😷 were as required.

Its okay considering whats around montrose. If your Korean will probably like this place since the flavors lean towards the Korean tastebuds. To be considered authentic Vietnamese not very good. If you want good Vietnamese make time to go to places out towards Arcadia. Also you come out smelling like the food you ate. I dont like places with poor ventilation. Dont consider going out anywhere after eating here.. go home and change your clothes or maybe even take a shower.
Food poisoning is same amount as food...soup had a frozen block noodles inside,and food handling is critical!! Health department should come soon to close this lazy bloody meat, dirty bean sprout,!! Only go if you ready for 2 days dying
First of all the service sucks. Second one doesnt serve hot tea in a plastic cup and only half full. I didnt know a tea bag is that expensive. I order chicken noodle soup and couldnt find my chicken.

When other people say this place is the best in the area, they might not realize this is the only pho place in the Montrose area. There are much tastier pho restaurants in LA, and Ive had much better than this place. The food here isnt authentic and certainly not that great.
Very good pho, reasonable price points (Im talking to you, Eagle Rock) and wildly popular on a cool, damp night. No Amex for payment, so make sure youve got Visa or cash.

Spicy soup and friendly service. I ordered tenderloin & cheonyeop... but I wanted to eat only cheonyeop rather than tenderloin, so I asked them to leave out the tenderloin and add a little more of cheonyeop, and they did so. “Pho” restaurant with delicious soup in a clean atmosphere

Mainly because it is more expensive. A portion of just rice noodles costs 10.99 US dollars, and a small bowl with six slices of beef costs 13.99 US dollars. Approximately $30 plus tax and tip. It won’t cost more than ten dollars to do it yourself. Mainly because there is not enough food. The fish balls and shrimps on the first side I ordered were out of stock. If the ingredients are expensive, use beef or pork instead. Those who want affordable food should think twice.

It is run by a Korean and the servers are also Korean, so there are a lot of Korean customers. The taste seems to be average. There are a lot of people waiting for lunch, so I had to get up quickly after eating...
I visited this place again after 10 years. Nothing has changed. A very friendly and friendly place. I highly recommend it again.

Soup was thin, meat portion was real small, and they give cilantro instead of basil (who does that?? I guess cilantro is cheaper). Sigh maybe it was an off day for them.Nice service and clean atmosphere… everything’s good but the food

2023-08-15 14:40:00Visited here for the first time on a rainy day for some delicious pho. This place did not disappoint! The portion is huge and the pho has tons of flavor! They also have chili paste available if you like it spicy (you know I do). The Thai iced tea is definitely something Id write home about as well! The service and atmosphere are great. Definitely recommend!

I was really pleased I found both!The staff was busy but they greeted me when I walked in and took my order quickly. My fresh made food was ready in 15 minutes and I enjoyed it when I got home. The portions were good and I enjoyed the leftover food the next day.

2018-08-14 21:38:16The pho is flavorful and delicious. Perfectly cooked with a plate full of fresh beans sprouts and peppers. The pork vermicelli is rich and delicious with fresh vegetables crispy bean sprouts and a sweet flavorful sauce. Service is quick and friendly. Parking can be a pain.

2022-12-05 07:24:36I love Pho. I have had it hundreds of times in many places. This might have been the worse ever. If I was to taste this pho blind, I could not tell you i was eating pho. I took a few bites a tossed it. I also tossed the stale stir fry. What a let down. I came here because it had a good score here on Google. I guess you cant trust reviews anymore. No bueno. Google directions on how to get away from here.
