PHO 7 COW in National City

Pho 7 Cow is located in a strip mall in National City. Plenty of parking. I walked in around 2:30pm and there were no lines or wait list and was seated immediately. There were a lot of seating at this restaurant. Waitstaff brought me glass of cold water and within a minute or two, he was ready to take my order. I ordered three dishes to try as this was my first visit: one large house specialty beef pho; one large beef stew noodle soup and a combination rice plate with grilled shrimps and filet mignon (as suggested by the waitstaff). Service was quick and I got my food less than 5 minutes after ordering. The staff was efficient and fast. They were courteous and attentive. Pho was piping hot when it was brought to me and has a clean, tasty broth that’s not greasy and the beef meat ball (I think it’s hand made) has a nice chewy texture that I enjoyed. Pho bowl was supposed to include beef tendons but I didn’t find any. I wish there were more beef ingredients like meatballs, tendons, etc. in the pho bowl. They gave me a generous plate of fresh bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño and lime. Since there is a shortage of Sriracha sauce, they provided the garlic chili oil as dipping sauce which was delicious. The beef stew noodle has a yummy rich broth and piping hot too. The grilled filet mignon meat was tender. I was surprised that I got 5 large grilled and deveined shrimp. The rice combo dish was delicious and at a very affordable price point.This place is clean, fast service, decent, affordable, authentic Vietnamese food and with an efficient staff that keeps the flow of a restaurant going. Keep up the great well-planned team system that works very well. I plan to go back and try other dishes and their Banh mi sandwiches.

There Pho is one of the best in San Diego and they give out good portions. I like There Beef Pho #1, #2, and #12.

Their food is so good, definitely one of the best pho/Vietnamese restaurants in national city

Came here for Vietnamese coffee only. Coffee was ok, strong not too sweet. Cup was full to the brim with ice though, def order easy ice. Would not try again tbh.

Our second time here and again it’s still great food and great service. I love their fried egg rolls for starting appetizers my all time favorite and their house special pho best so far I’ve had in San Diego

One of the best restaurants in Plaza Blvd/National City.Fast service. Courteous staff. Delicious food.Theres more great food than just Pho here:Spring rolls. Banh mi sandwich. Any meat dish with rice or vermicelli on the side.Ive been going here for a few years and my food is always on the table in 5 minutes or less after ordering.

Super yummy!! Love this place. They have fast service, great food, great prices. The food is always so fresh, and really a great value. Portions are large. Definitely recommend!!My pictures are if the fresh Vietnamese Spring Roll with shrimp and peanut sauce. Also the vermicelli, which is a noodle dish with shrimp and fried spring roll.

Got to say I am deeply disappointed in this place. It’s my family’s go to place for the weekends. Went and the waiter was so rude, first time having a rude interaction. He keep making us uncomfortable by saying we were taking a bigger table for 4 people. I said we were sorry but the 5th person couldn’t make it but we could move to a smaller table, he didn’t want to do that.The food was bad, again never once had this happen before.After the food was dropped no one got back to us.And when someone did it was just to drop off the check. I mentioned not liking the food and was disregarded and I paid of it.Not going back after that bad experience, sad to loose my favorite restaurant

The food was delicious, my friends and I all enjoyed it. The place looks clean and cool too, it really adds to the nice atmosphere. We were served quickly and in a timely manner. The servers were kind and helpful. I was very satisfied with the service and food, as were my friends.

Fast and friendly staff. Their #1 special Pho is pretty good and its a big bowl. The grilled meat and shrimp vermicelli bowl is good too. Very quick order! Parking is okay. Will come back again.
