I got chicken noodle soup which was pretty good portion wise I think the broth could add a little bit more flavor and the chicken was rubbery and had like a fungi taste to it so I didnt eat much of it. period but then I got the fried chicken with the egg roll over white rice and salad which was good. The lemongrass chicken was yummy it was supposed to be spicy and it wasnt and I think they could have gave a little bit of a bigger portion size. And then I got steamed veggies which were okay. Overall I probably be back I just wont get the noodle soup.

By far my favorite place in the entire Bay Area for Pho. This place is always busy, which tells you it’s good. Some of the fastest service I’ve ever experienced, food is always same quality and flavor. I will be coming here for the rest of my life, till I die or until they shut down. Which I hope never happens.

Best place I ever had Vietnamese noodles. Portion sizes are generous from such a wide selection. A hole in the wall restaurant with great service too. Reservations are welcome for large groups (about 6 or more) but dining alone is just as fine. Great place to go for some delicious noodles on a cold day!

This place center-punches a solid, dependable neighborhood pho place. Ive been coming here for years on hardware store trips, and *every* single time I go, I think wow, this place is so dependably good, I should come back more often.Fast, and really, really good. You wont be disappointed.

Love this place. Aways friendly and attentive service. We tried many dishes on the menu both dine-in and take-out. Always fresh and flavorful. Good quality food and reasonable price for pho in San Leandro.I love the egg rolls, 10a pho, and grilled chicken vermicelli.

First time coming here and honestly we loved it! We will definitely come back again. The service was good, they brought our food out really quick even though there was a lot of people.I am vegan and they have good vegan options. I ordered Tofu Vermicelli dish and my husband got the veggie noodle soup/pho with tofu we also got fresh spring rolls with tofu and everything was delicious!

Very bad serving attitude from the mid aged waiter!I had a party of 7 for lunch. The restaurant was crowd. I wrote my name on the waiting list. I saw a long table of 8 seats with only a couple at the end. So I politely asked the couple whether they might move to another vacant table. They agreed. I also told another waiter on it and he agreed. I sat at the table for 8 people with 6 friends arrived. The mid aged waiter had a grumpy face and did not like what I did. The mid aged waiter asked us to move to another table. When we left our table, we noticed that the table was made with two small tables which normally seated 4 people. Very upset with the arrangement! Another waiter serving the food also wondered why 7 people were squeezed at the two small tables. There was another table with 8 seats available but the mid aged waiter assigned 4 people to sit there but not us. Obviously, he didnt like us! It was my friends birthday and we didnt want to make it awkward. But I will not go there again!By the way, mid aged waiter, if you see this message, I am sorry that I did something different from your plan / system! Your two small tables gave us an opportunity to be close to each other. Thanks!

This is my go-to for tasty flavor-packed Vietnamese food! Comforting food at a great price point. Their huge portion sizes are greatly appreciated and fast service on phone orders and dine-in. They do charge a container fee (around $0.25 per container) for take out orders and if you have left overs you want to take home, so expect to pay slightly more if you order to-go. There are a lot of parking spaces as well. Also, cash only for orders less than $10.

Planning to come in here for Dine in soon. I went through DoorDash and picked up my order Coffee and spring Rolls where yummy and fresh (: Best Vietnamese spot in town and close too home. They have a pretty good selection of pho bowls and other foods. Their eggrolls exceeded my expectations. My only gripe is that I had to wait a long time for my food to come out. I am talking almost a 30 minute wait. I understand that it was a busy night but other pho places Ive been to my food wait time is much faster.A part from that the food was really good. Will go again at a less busy time to see if I can faster service.

This is my go-to Phō restaurant in the bay area. Ive been going for years and im never disappointed with the food. Dining is good and take out is convenient. I recommend the Phō Ga and their drinks!

This 1 star is only for the service. I ordered when I walked in as I knew what I wanted. Other arrived got their food. Im still sitting there. No one said anything to me . When I finally asked where my soup was the order had not been put in. No apologies from the owner no acknowledgement of my waiting so long and I did make eye contact. So long story short I was ready to walk out but then my pho finally arrived. It was really good pho. Veggie . Clean pure & tasty. I might go back but not sure I want to be ignored again. The owner never smiled once.Service is part of the meal.

Excellent service not for my people. Came here on a lunch break for a boba drink which took 40 minutes. I asked if it was ready they said no. Them took a drink out the freezer and gave it to me. Waisted my lunch break while they laughed and talked. Never coming here again and the drink wasn’t even worth the wait. Poor service. Lots of staff twirling in circles.

Fantastic, tasty, fresh Vietnamese food! Wow I’m so happy that they use DoorDash for delivery. Seriously, we have ordered at least 7 times. Each order is consistently fantastic. Their rice plates, soup, lemon grass beef - all phenomenal! But star of this amazing restaurant - grilled pork spring rolls! This is a must have. Ordered Pho, what else to order when you want something specific. Ordered takeout, was ready within 10 minutes. Very friendly service at the counter. My only complaint which was not discovered until returning home was that the meat thinly sliced beef was in a bag and frozen. I ordered it rare which is my normal just never had to cook my own take out. After cooking the meat, mixed into the Pho, added the spices and enjoyed. Will return👍

The large always makes me so full and the young boy waitress was extremely helpful and offered me a rubber band as a hair tie when he noticed me struggling to move my hair out of the way. The pho is always so delicious every time and is amazing. ❤️❤️

I got the teriyaki chicken order and I ordered it in but then took some of it to go for my mom. Sometimes buy food to share with one another. It was delicious and it was great. My sister ordered the and in this location was beef brisket soup or something like that. Anyways I dined in with my sister and then took some home to share with my mom who loved it. Its a great place to go to and theyre boba drinks actually have boba in their Thai tea and their other assortment of drinks which you can add boba. Very nice and point and I would recommend people to go here if you havent gone.

12/26/21:I’ve been coming to this place for years for over 10 years. I’m used to one of the servers being grumpy but the last few times I’ve been there, he’s been straight up rude and disrespectful. Presumptuous that I had a party of 3 and kept sitting people walking up behind us. I addressed him, asking why I he had not seated us or asked how many of us there were. He said that he can see it was 3 and I told him that he was wrong since I was trying to get a table for 6. He didn’t apologize or even say anything. He then signaled us to sit and that was it. He kept taking our order wrong since he wasn’t even bothering to listen to what we were actually ordering. So rude!!!!! We tried to laugh it off but I’m definitely not going to be introducing anyone else to this restaurant. I’ll be looking for a better service providing Pho that actually deserves business.This place has good food but horrible service. Makes me feel like I’m rushed to eat.Super good place. Always a good steady crowd. Fast service!!! Prices are good as well.

My parents and I would always come here for pho. They serve all the usual with the pho and it definitely warms the soul.I gave four stars because the prices are okay. There seems to be something lacking with the presentation of the place. Im not sure what it is.

Visiting family in the area so we met here for lunch. The food was delicious and the portions sizes are comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants weve been to in the Bay Area.The service was quick and the staff were attentive. Also, they take cash and credit cards with a chip.As far as cleanliness, the tables were kept clean but the floors are slippery. So watch your footing, especially towards the rest rooms. Simple Green works wonders as a degreaser!

We love eating in or getting take out from Pho An Hoa. I almost always go for the vermicelli bowl with pork, shrimp and egg roll, it’s so good here. Have also tried garlic noodles, pho, chicken wings apps - all are tasty, can’t really go wrong!

Terrible service. I was trying to see if my order was ready because the app I ordered it through told me to arrive at a certain time. I was trying to get one of the ladies attention, saying excuse me, then after the first 3 times, I realized she was ignoring me, so unfortunately I had to put some base in my voice, and said excuse me 2 more times, only for the lady that was behind the table, to say to me, “can’t you see we’re busy? I love this place!! So many different options and all delicious!!! Great price point so you can walk out of there with both your stomach and wallet full. My meal of choice is shrimp spring rolls, lemongrass chicken and a Vietnamese coffee. One thing to remember is if you are paying with card make sure it has a chip because they will turn you away and hold collateral till you come back and pay.

Was in the area a few days ago. Had an appetizer, because I was in a hurry. Got the fried pork egg rolls. Wow! Incredible. Three rolls with some sort of thin, amber sauce that was otherworldly delicious. Also, as an aside, the delightful young woman who took my order was what is known on the street as “slim thicc.” You know I like it like that. If I were a hundred years younger, marginally attractive, and possessing of some charm, I’d put the moves on her, just roll right on in with the vibes and swagger. The boom broom would sweep her right off her delicate little feet. sigh, at least the egg rolls were superb.Stop in if you get a chance. They’re a first rate establishment.

Wow the lady behind the cash register I believe the owner just try to get me for a whole 18 bucks I gave her a $50 bill and she tried just giving me $5 and change but my tag was 34 bucks then I asked for a receipt she changed the tag to $32 and gave me $2 and some more change then I walk away and think thats only change for $40. I was still missing $10! I went back in she seen me and she had the $10 ready for me. Wow seems like it was planned they probably do this all the time to innocent customers that are just trying to eat some pho. She also told me I gave her a $40 bill.

I went here for the first time last Sunday. My friend and I ordered the stew pho and I ordered the eggplant claypot to go. The pho was very good. You get lots of noodles, veggies and meat. I wasnt aware that the meat is meant to be fatty though. I wasnt impressed with the claypot. It was a small portion. It could have used a variety of the vegetables and it had very little eggplant and the tofu was slightly sour.

This place is trash.All the Phos taste bland, the other dishes are either overly salty or have no flavor whatsoever, and I got a big stomach ache after eating a plate of fried rice from the place, something I never had happen to me at all. Their beef phos are the worst offenders; there was more fat in my bowl than actual meat and the beef itself was either burnt or had a very stringy texture.Customer service is... Ok, but it feels like they just serve you once and expect you to leave as soon as you finish. They dont even give you your bill like most other places, you pay at the front after you finish, which I didnt know sitting there for 15 minutes wasting my time like an idiot as people were lined up outside waiting for me to get out of my seat.Overall bad food and experience, would not go ever again.

Overall a pretty good Meal. The egg rolls were really Good. However the dipping sauce had an extremely strong fish sauce smell. The beef pho noodles was pretty good, however the broth could have been more seasoned. And there was not a lot of toppings and there was no chili oil. Never been a big fan of this place all though the rest of my family loves it. But after my last visit not sure ill be back. The broth for the pho is usually not that flavorful but the last time it was so watered down didnt even eat it. It really tasted like hot water with meat and noodles. I ended up just picking the meat out and eating that but leaving everything else. Staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. But that doesnt matter if the food doesnt taste good. Hopefully it gets better but it will be a whlie before I go back.

I didnt even get to eat there yet but I went to Luckys next next door around 10am and some young guys was setting up there which is next door. I left my 8 yr old in the car and he needed to use the bathroom so he was honking the horn thinking I can hear him. I was gone for no more then 10mins. When I got back to the car some guys was setting up outside the restaurant,one decide to come to his car which was parked next to mines. Didnt say a word. While pulling out a cop is pulling up. I decided to go park and watch. The cop was talking to him and pointed where I was parked. My son was of age to be in the car alone. He could of said something when I came back. Wow

Ordered a honeydew milk tea and beef ball noodle soup. The broth was very bland and you could smell that it wasnt fresh as well as the beansprouts. I ordered this to go so I didnt realize all of this until I got home. Plus they have a policy where when your order to go you can only get large or xl but the portion size was definitely regular. They gave me a honeydew smoothie when I had ordered a milk tea. Then they said we dont do milk teas here. My question is why didnt they tell me when I ordered in the first place. I definitely wont be ordering from this place ever again first and last time for sure.

This is the only place I come for pho. I have been coming here for 7 plus years and I am never disappointed. The staff is nice and always make my kid feel special when I come. Even if you are not a pho fan their rice dishes are also extremely delicious. Especially the chicken curry. SOOOOOOO good. Also their smoothies are amazing. You can order with or without pearl my favorite is the pineapple. This place is an absolute treasure. Enjoy!!

There are an abundance of Pho restaurants in the San Leandro area, and this one is top notch. The menu is intimidatingly large, but once you know what to get the food comes out fast and tastes great. Had the Combination Beef Noodle Soup which was delicious and filling.

Highly recommend the fried fish cake and papaya salad. They only have Vietnamese style papaya salad. Pho An Hoa Noodle House has a very long menu. It always takes me sometimes to order since I try to remember which item I havent eaten. Good comfort food.

The place is a must when living or visiting San Leandro. The beef pho ( or beef noodle soup) #10 Combination is something I always order no matter what. The broth is rich in flavor, and the tendon, meatball and slices of beef that seep in it add to the plethora of tastes, smells and texture. A Large-sized bowl will keep you full for a near whole day, the staff is quick and they allow you to enjoy your meal unmolested. Dont worry about going broke. A regular size bowl is around 7-8 dollars ( as of 6/28/17) and is worth the spend.Go to the place, it may seem somewhat run down, but the food says it all. A hotspot for all.

Went here after my usual vietnamese coffee place was down due to power outtage. The guy taking my order was on his cellphone and didnt seem interested enough to finish taking it so he walked away halfway. They had my food ready in less than a minute flat, and thats not a good thing. I had egg rolls & coffee. The eggrolls didnt taste fresh, the lettuce looked like it had been left out for half the day. Got sick from the food. Restaurant looks dirty, food isnt fresh.

BEST PHO IN EASTBAY! Try #11 Beef Flank for authentic PHO. They are 20 - 30% cheaper that other Pho places in town that try to fancy things up but dont deliver a better bowl of Pho. My only gripe is they can never due to the hot coffee thing right. I ask for the coffee with the metal strainer on top and they give me ice coffee. Oh well, next time I will go in with a picture of what I want on my phone.

This place holds a special place in my heart. I did my interview for my current job here. One of the interviewers decided that since my slot was close to lunch time, he decided to take me to this restaurant while conducting the interview. I also learned that when ordering pho, its best to ask the rare beef on the side. After the meal comes out, put the rare beef into the bowl so it cooks a little bit. A new experience of eating pho and it was extremely delicious. Ive visited the place quite regularly since then.I like this place since they serve good food, and its quite cheap too. Other than pho, they also have different varieties of Vietnamese food. One of my favorites is the beef curry with rice. Good stuff for those chilly days. For drinks they have the super strong Vietrnamese iced coffee. Not for the weak hearts. I swear one of these cups have at least 3 shots of espresso. It will definitely wake you up though.
