Ive been to other locations of this pho restaurant, but this one in Alameda has the best customer service. As soon as my friend and I came in, the staff approached us right away and led us to the table of our choice. Service is fast as well.

I am honestly shocked at the portion sizes. I got a dozen small string beans in way too much sauce in a tiny container, and an extra large pho gai that barely had anything going on, and it was in no way an extra large. Just dry white meat slices and a little bag of bean sprouts, and a bit of cilantro. None of the good stuff and not a lot of it.Over 23 dollars plus tip for something that was supposed to feed two people. I dont know what was extra large about it. I barely had anything in itMaybe because it was the end of the night? Either way I cant leave a good review. This wasnt worth what I paid for it despite the broth flavor being good

Being out of town, I choose this restaurant due to the great Google reviews, however I’m highly disappointed! Ordered pork rice. Pork taste like rubber band with no flavor, rice was dried and old. It’s a shame that such big city can offer such terrible food. After I sorted through the food and had two bite. I stopped eating and went to sleep hungry . I’m from a town with not a lot of Asian food, but I promise, I can randomly select any Vietnamese restaurant and the food would be 100% better - and half the price!

We got an order of the shrimp and pork as well as the veggie tofu spring rolls. They come with lots of peanut sauce which I love. We also got an order of the basil wings for appetizers. All of it was yummy. For our main meal, we both ordered 15. Tai - the eye of round steak Pho. I got a small my husband got a large. The veggies to add are delicious and fresh. Menus are accessible via QR code which was a little tricky for us. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back.It worth noting the dinning area is split between Pho Anh Dao and Bucket OCrawfish which is kind of interesting. We may try that menu as well.

Stopped on a Wednesday, around 4:30pm. Was not busy. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was very polite and attentive. I ordered an extra large Pho Ga and shrimp spring rolls. They brought my order out in less than 5 minutes, and it was huge. Broth/Pho was excellent! The Spring Rolls were very fresh and the lettuce wraps were very crisp, flavor was excellent! Peanut sauce was perfect as well. I will definitely visit again if in the area! $14 (before tax and tip) for a bowl of Pho that large and two excellent Spring Rolls was a great price as well!

Pho Ann Đạo is the best place in Alameda to get pho, when we came to visit Alameda for 2 weeks we ate there 6 times as well as tried 3 other pho places in the area. The broth is rich and flavorful. The service is amazing and we never had a bad experience while we were there. One thing I do want to mention id that they add a lot more noodles that the average person would eat. I ordered the pho tai and it was great. If we come back to Alameda we will 10000% be coming back to this place.

Pho Anh Dao is a Vietnamese restaurant in Alameda that I decided to try a couple of days as it seemed to have OK ratings on Yelp. It is located on Webster & Atlantic and unlike most places on Webster has a small parking lot which I guess it shares with a hotel that is present in the back.It is actually two restaurants at the same location. You have Bucket O Crawfish on the left/front and Pho Anh Dao to the right/back section. The menu is like any other Vietnamese restaurant which includes Pho, Bun and rice plates. I decided to get the Bo Kho ($9.25 for extra-large) which is stewed beef noodle soup, to-go. I had to pay cash as they have a minimum to use credit cards that I did not hit. After ordering it was a short 10-minute wait and I was on my way.I got two containers one with the noodles and the other with the soup, which was a good start but unfortunately it did not go any further. The noodles had all clumped together and turned into one hard lump. No amount of soup was going to help loosen them up. This was like eating rice cakes instead of noodles. The soup itself was weak and had about 4 pieces of beef inside. Overall a very poor dish.Price wise it was pretty cheap but the quality of food was terrible. I think these folks should actually take some time and see what they are actually serving to their customers to understand their shortcomings. After this experience I doubt that I will return.
