Pho Bac Hoa Viet in Sacramento

This restaurant is definitely worth the drive! I had BBQ Pork Chow Fun and my wife had Pho. Both were excellent! We had several people serve us and everyone was polite and cheerful, and we got our drinks and food very quickly even though there was quite a crowd for lunch.We loved the diner atmosphere! Plenty of room and very clean. We will be back!

This Vietnamese gem is a culinary delight! From mouthwatering spring rolls to delightful vermicelli and egg rolls, every dish is a treat. The phos rich broth and generous portions never disappoint. The charming decor adds to the experience, and dont miss their must-try Vietnamese coffee. The flavorful tofu is a standout. With an extensive menu, each item is excellent - a must-visit for any food lover!

I really wanted to give this place a great review but, I decided to go grab some vegetarian or vegan options & ordered some vegetable chow mein that was nothing like what I wanted, anticipated, or expected. I was told it was a thinner noodle but, they appeared to be soaked in soy sauce and this huge chunky vegetables like bok chocolate in whole form tht I dont like or eat. It would have been okay had I not specifically asked what kind of vegetables come in this dish, but, I did and no one mentioned it. I ended up handing the entire dish to a hungry homeless man by 7-Eleven. I did enjoy the Vegetable Spring Rolls with Taro root. Those were nice. I had no idea that Pho Bac Viet has a Pho King challenge. It looks pretty cool. The next time I am back I will probably get the stuff the restaurant is known for, The Pho. I have had dishes from here in the past and they were all pretty good, except every single time I ordered crab fried rice there was some crab shells in it. You cant win them all! Overall, this is a nice convenient place to grab a quick meal when youre pressed for time or dont want to cook.

Finally found the best Vietnamese spot in the area!could really care less with service and will be going back when in the area and prefer this spot rather than going to other watered down Vietnamese spots in the opposite direction/cou tylook for Khae hes hella cool and full of energy!!and can we just say they make a mean nem núőng cuon!!! the thickness just like in Vietnam!and another shout out for having a TRUE popcorn chicken with basil and how its supposed to be!!yes north valley folks basil popcorn chicken ALWAYS comes with basil thanks so much, quit messing with my asian bros and sis cuisinewifey said she enjoyed her Mì Vịt Tiềm, as always i devoured all the meal i ordered no complain

I ordered wonton soup, charbroiled beef over rice, and pork fried rice. I’m allergic to shell fish and they gave me wor wonton soup with shrimp. The charbroiled beef over rice was suppose to have extra meat but they filled so much to make it look like we got extra meat. Terrible! I called to tell them they gave me food that was wrong and I was allergic to and they really didn’t care. Never coming back here

Excellent Banh xeo! Plenty of greens and herbs with it. The summer and spring rolls are amazing. Will definitely be back when in town. Very reasonable priceing for what you get. It is a little bit noisy

Food was delicious. Nice flavors. Big portions. no complaints on that. Their hot coffee presentation was unique and interesting.Service was decent. We asked for black coffee but it came with condensed milk, we notified the waitress, instead of giving us the new ones, she just poured the same one into the new container, and ofc since of the condensed milk did transfer to the new glass, to my siblings it wasnt a big deal, but as a person with lactose intolerance it was a big deal to me. Overall service wasnt bad, only this bothers me. Also, we have 5 people, the waitress charged us 18% of the service fee without saying anything to us as if they wished we would miss it and give them extra.

The first thing I want to mention with this restaurant is that the food is a 5/5. My family and I enjoyed everything that everyone was ordered, especially the spicy basil mussels. I would compliment the price, quantity, and quality of what was served to us.That being said the quality of service, along with cleanliness of the dining experience, was lackluster. I acknowledge that we dined midweek in the afternoon/evening. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that the table we were brought to was either not wiped down at all after the last guests, or it was done so quickly that they didn’t even notice the almost finished boba cup. We looked past it given how busy it seemed. Five mins later and we notice something small move on the wall where we are sitting - a small cockroach. The first staff we could flag down acknowledged the roach nonchalantly, and then left without ever addressing us again. The second staff acknowledged the roach, and left for a couple a minutes before he and another staff came back to get the bug.I would honestly love to come back to this place again for its food, but I have my reservations after my first experience. It’s one thing to have a find a bug crawling around in a restaurant (it happens all the time), but it’s another thing to have staff react with indifference to one :/

Only one waitress after a busy time, but she was terrific to us.Noisy at times when we wanted to be togetherbut she saved a nice booth for us when I made reservations.The food on their menu is remarkably varied and outstandingly excellent.We ordered Pho with rare steak and fat brisket.Yummy and so much that we had to take home.We will return.

Its usually great. But I got a hair in my soup last time I visited. I did not make a scene because realistically was whats the worst that can happen? I wont get cancer and die. I removed the hair and ate the soup but the tip and review reflect my experience.
