I decided to try this place since it had good reviews and the pictures of food that some people posted look amazing. It was the worst pho Ive ever had. My brisket tasted weird as I was poking around I found a piece that was green. I only ate a few bites and was literally sick to my stomach.I hate to leave a bad review but I do not recommend this place

July 2021Pho Belwood is under new management.I went and visit the place and...- Good-The system that they use is upgraded.The presentation is niceMore seating.The server is very polite and welcoming.-Bad-The food doesnt taste good. The pho is bland,😕 not like before.The egg roll and spring rolls are just ok.I miss the authentic taste of Vietnamese food.Im so sorry but I can not recommend this place.------------------------------------------------I just visited the new location, and just like old times, it is the same delicious pho.The vietnamese sandwich was so fresh, the bread was still warm and soft, which I really love.👍🏻😋

This was our first time eating here. The Chef came to our table and helped us decide what to order. The food was fantastic! So fresh and flavorful! Absolutely loved it. We will definitely go back.

I will definitely be returning to eat at this establishment. I dined in and had a to-go order. Both were excellent. Service was top knotch. I was attended to quickly and the food came out fast. Loved the icy cold dishes/cups. Being stainless steel there was no going around any of it being dirty or having stains/finger prints/steaks/left over food. Icy cold water carafe was bought early to my table (great added touch). Shrimp spring rolls/peanut sauce were fantastic and tasty. You get 2 but they are huge (equivalent to 4 reg sized). Dont be intimidated by the peanut sauce. Its chunky and looks thick but its roasted flavor compliments the spring roll perfectly. The chicken pho was flavorful and filling. Filled with the traditional toppings, choice of noodles and chicken (excited to try the other meat/shrimp options available) . Bowl was good size. All condiments were clean and set on your table at time of order in individual sqeeze bottles (no labels so had to ask what was what) The to-go order was individually packed perfect. Not skimping on anything that my dine-in order had. Finally, the boba milk tea was on point served in a cute cup. Boba was soft and had a good ratio. Ice was nugget style so it was perfect for the boba straws. Flavor was great. Cost was a little over $25 per person but i came out full and satisfied. My husband was equally impressed with his to-go order he loved everything and cant wait to dine in soon. Id say its a fair price considering the lack of good/clean tasting restaurants in the high desert area.

My kids liked their chicken bowls, I enjoyed my chicken plate. My son ordered the wings, they were horrible and I thought he was just being picky but then I tried them and so did my daughter and oh my disgusting. Even left a horrible taste in our mouths. Service was OK couldve been better. Had to ask for refill on water and then had to walk up to ask for our check after waiting for 10 mins.

Ordered some tofu spring rolls and they were thee worst. The lettuce was old and smelled like sink water. The peanut sauce was unrecognizable. It did not taste anywhere authentic. We use to love ordering spring rolls here but something changed. When I walked in this last time it looked nicer and cleaner inside but the food definitely suffered. Anyway the spring rolls were awful. We threw them away because even though we were hungry, these rolls were too sketch. A waste of 15 bucks.

Has this place changed owners since the pandemic?! I picked up veggie only spring rolls, no tofu and veggie stir fry. The spring rolls were awful and unrecognizable as they were made with romaine lettuce instead of a nice bright green such as spinach which is how I have always had them. They also had no veggies in them, no carrot, nothing! It was ridiculous, and there were only two for $7, there used to be 4 beautiful spring rolls before the pandemic that were so good. These were horrible. The veggie stir fry was made with noodles that weren’t good and hardly any veggies. The green parts of the baby bok choy were omitted, are they using them for something else? Only a few small pieces of carrot and a few pieces of broccoli. I actually asked for LOTS of veggies. For $12, this was not a good value. Because of the lack of veggies it wouldn’t have been a good value at half the price. The people who work here were very nice, but both my items were so poorly executed, I will not be back here. Guess I’ll have to find another Vietnamese restaurant in town and hope I can find good spring rolls.

Been here a few times. Food is ok. Service is gross. Got seated in corner and forgotten, took 20+ min before we were able to flag someone down to order. 2 tables that sat after us got their food before us, we ordered the same soup. They brought one plate, then took another 15 min to bring the soup, forgotten again. I paid first, then asked to speak to manager and the lady who took my payment gaffed off my request, and stated “he too busy.” I will not be returning.

Ive been waiting for this place to reopen to get a bahn-mi. The bread was pretty good, but not much inside. I wouldnt have been able to guess what kind of meat was in there just by the taste. Cucumbers are too big and I dont think they pickled the vegetables at all.

By far the best pho place I have ever been to. They are super friendly and helpful. Also want to point out the bad reviews on here are ridiculous. They dont ever give you dirty dishes. Everything is always cleaned. I go here, literally, every other day and have never receiveda dirty dish. And quick tip to the lady that complained about the to go order, EVERY Pho place I have EVER ordered to go, they give you the meat raw. You are ridiculous for even trying to eat it raw, have some common sense. Your supposed to throw the noodles and raw meat in the soup so it can cook itself, that is why they give you the soup super hot.

When we were seated I let our waitress know we were on a time restraint and then she proceeded to go and talk in the back for 10 minutes without even asking us for drinks. When she came back I let her know we didn’t have enough time to eat but that we would take two Thai teas and once again she went and chatted. I got up and walked over to the counter and she began making them, I’m not sure if she didn’t see me but she dropped ice on the counter and the tossed it back into my cup with her hand. Then got upset with me once I let her know I didn’t want to drinks because she put ice from the counter into my drink. Never going back.. pho Kobe has better food and service...and is worth the drive across town

This place has the BEST pho ever! I have eaten at a ton of restaurants and this place hands down has the best flavour. Now for the service. It is a mom and pop restaurant so it is ran by older generation Vietnamese people so service is slow, getting take out is slow. They seriously have a lack of attention to details. Drink refills are slow. Overall though this is my go to spot for absolutely amazing pho. I pay for the delicious food I receive, and I already know to expect slow but kind service.

My favorite for Phở. Ordered to go, 1) Egg rolls 14) Stir fried soft egg noodle with beef 15) Phở large, with rare steak, flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls. All was excellent, wife and I ate half, will finish rest later. Cant wait to try the other rolls, Banh Mi, and the deep fried crispy squid.The restaurant is quaint, staff is friendly, feels like a departure from Apple Valley. Happy to see they are opened back up again.

Sat there for nearly 30 mins without anyone offering a drink or even a menu, had to grab my own off the counter. A waitress told us she would be there to take our order & a group who came in 15 mins after us got seated and she took their order before us. When we finally decided to just leave and eat somewhere else she followed us outside and told us that she would just take our orders right now, but we were already set on going elsewhere.

This place is the best. Thats actually ban understatement, this place is really, really, really, delicious. They use to be in Victorville but because of greedy, money hungry people who owned the building they had to move to Apple Valley. But the food is still great and even though I have to travel an extra 10 miles from where I originally started to visit them at, its worth it. Also ad that they are open on Mondays. Other Vietnamese restaurants close on Mondays so thats a big plus in my book. They are closed on Wednesday. Both this one and Pho Saigon are worth taking the drive. Ill be going to both because I dont mind spending my money on family owned places.

Was craving pho while I was in the area, so I stopped by for a late lunch. I wasnt expecting too much for pho in Apple Valley, but considering the high reviews for an unclaimed restaurant, I thought the food would be decent. There are two Pho Belwood locations - one in Victorville and one in Apple Valley. They specialize mainly in pho, but also sell specialized dishes and drinks. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, but it quickly got busy - even around 2-3PM which was surprising.Storefront is pretty big with a lot of tables and booths. The workers dont bother you much after you order, which is nice if you want to sit and chat or bring something to study - especially when business is a bit slower. There are a ton of powder/syrups lining the counter, so you know the drinks here are not authentic and artificial.I decide to order #15 - which pretty much has a little of everything (flank, brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls, rare steak). Medium is priced at $8.99, which isnt too bad at all (large is $2 more). Pho came with a ton of onions on top along with a plate of bean sprouts, lemon, mint leaves, and jalapenos. The broth was actually really good - I was surprised by how much flavor it had while not having too much oil or tasting of MSG. They gave a good amount of meat in the bowl as well - felt like I was able to keep eating meat until I finished the noodles. For $8.99, that was definitely a good bowl of pho - especially in the High Desert.My friend decided to be spontaneous and order something that wasnt pho. I had a feeling the dish wouldnt be good - youre eating at a pho restaurant in an area that doesnt specialize in pho. And you decide to go off the menu ... what can you expect? He ordered the special pot fried rice (#26) for $11.99, expecting it to taste similar to the fried rice dishes we normally get at Thai places. Yea, no. This was probably the worst rice dish Ive ever eaten - and Ive eaten at a ton of Chinese restaurants. Not sure what rice was used or how they cooked it, but it lacked flavor and tasted dry. The toppings were random seafood and Chinese ingredients piled together and maybe stir-fried with the same sauce? Either way, it tasted really unappetizing. He barely finished the toppings and we actually just left the rice. It was that bad.After you finish, you pay at the counter. Its cash only unless you dont mind a credit card service fee. The workers were nice, but super slow with the credit card machine.tl;dr - Pho here was really good. But the rice dish was really bad. Have to give this place 3 stars despite us both enjoying the pho. I wouldnt mind returning, but wed only order from the pho options.

Food tastes pretty authentic for being in the high desert. They are much better than Kobe Pho but not as much compared to Pho Saigon. Each place do have their ups and downs.A bit pricey, small portions, kept on getting my order mixed up, and got charged for a large combination Pho and received a small beef bowl.

Didnt think you could get pho of this quality outside of Orange County... Boy was I wrong. Owner knows his noodles, cook times, uses fresh ingredients and puts together a satisfying bowl. Try the O.G. noodle of you want an authentic slice of Viet style home.I also tried the beef bahn mi, Viet style sandwich loaded with meat and fresh veggies. For 6 bucks it slays anything the Subway across from it can offer. Service was great and will come back again. Make sure to say hello to the owner Shawn.

I come here regularly and it never dissapoints in terms of quality of the food. I have ordered soups, sandwiches and a few entrées here - all fresh. The sandwiches I love. I have been here 2 times, never had problems, the service was awsome, I love the Pho here, up until today... I got Pho to go and I thought everything was already made, like it should be. When I came home, I opened the plastic cup of Pho and noticed the noodles and meat werent inside. So I checked the other container and the noodles were there and some pink meat. I had no idea whatsoever that the meat was not cooked,for all I knew it was some kind of meat I have never tasted. No one in the restaurant told me that I had to cook the meat at home. I took a small piece, half a dime sized piece of raw meat, and chewed it, and spit it out. Thats when I realized that it was meat not cooked, how the heck would I have known THAT was the meat that was suppose to go in my Pho?! Iwas not told that I was suppose to cook it at home, I have been to many Pho restaurants, and honestly this is the very first restaurant that sent me home with undone Pho noodles.They at least could of told me to cook them, no, instead they just have me take it home and figure out myself. For one, I could get salmonella, and get them in trouble, because they should ALWAYS tell their customers to cook the meat if they are sending them with it to go. It was very disappointing that this happened, knowing that I was starting to love their food. But all I can say is be careful when taking their Pho to go, they send you home with the raw meat and noodles, and the soup with nothing in it. I was not pleased after this, and when I called, the lady tells me laughing,as if it is a joke, I could get sick because they did not tell me. So I honestly lost my trust in them,and they lost a customer.
