My vermicelli salad was okay. Not too amazing but the egg roll itself was delicious. It was crunchy and light with a nice filling. I look forward to coming back here to try their pho next.Update since I realized I can’t review twice- Pho was amazing. It has a thin layer of grease on top as if the broth had been simmering all night. It’s light but savory. Good enough for me to eat without any additional sauces. Bun Bo Hue has a light broth and not spicy. I prefer one with stronger taste but this is definitely good for those who wants to try this dish but without the strong broth and spicy flavor.

OH MY GOODNESS ! THIS HAS THE BE THE BEST PHO RESTAURANT EVER! 10/10 GET THE PHO BISTRO SPECIAL BROTH WAS PREFECT MEATS WERE VERY TENDER AND EVEN THE NOODLES WERE SOFT! With the amount of pho places in Sacramento, it’s hard to find a good spot. First thing you do when the pho arrives is you try the broth. Compared to many of the pho places I’ve tried, this is one of the better ones. Lots of flavor, including a real beefy taste. The vermicelli also hit the spot.

DONT GET THEIR BANH MII should’ve known to get something they specialized in instead but I was more than disappointed. The sandwich didn’t even come with pickled veggies. I put my partners veggies from her vermicelli on mine which took 15 minutes to come by the way after all of our other food came. Anyways there also wasn’t any pate or Mayo on the bread like it said on the menu and as you can see there was little meat. The banh mis at the Asian stores are way better and at least filled more than this. The only thing good about the sandwich was the bread. Their other food like the pho and vermicelli was good tho.

I was recommnded this place a few times by friends as their go to spot for pho so I thought Id stop by and try. The pho tasted great. It was simple and the serving size was just right. The eggroll was good as well!! It was quite hot though but thats how I know it was fresh. Overall it was a good meal~

Pho Bistro was recommended to us. The restaurant is hidden in a shopping center, and I would have never found it alone. The Pho soup was terrific, with beef melting off the bone. The egg rolls were nothing I had seen before, and the taste was outstanding. When Im in Elk Grove and want Pho, I will return. 😋

I love that Pho Bistro is down the street from my house! I was in the mood for some chicken soup and I didn’t realize they make a Pho Chicken… it’s delicious!Also had the fresh grilled pork spring rolls with a peanut sauce… totally good too!I highly recommend this place, check it out!

Yummy 🤤. Husband loved the pork belly sandwich but did not like the honey garlic wings. I very much enjoyed the shrimp and meat spring rolls. They were huge and they dont skimp on the peanut sauce which was just how I like. Also I have to say the crab wontons were some of the best I have ever had. They were packed with crab (imitation but they all are) and filling, not just cream cheese with a large side of sweet chili sauce. I also got pho but am going to eat that tonight as all the food I got was much more than I could eat. Everything in the picture with a $5 to go tip was $73 and enough for two people for two meals. They were very busy on a Thursday afternoon so you know its good.

The food I had was good. Had the pork and shrimp spring rolls, a banh mi, and rib eye soup with extra rib bones on the side. Also came with your typical sprouts, mint, lime plate... Ordered a thai iced tea but they ran out during lunch time.

Good food. They charge .50 for water but its bottle, didnt ask for bottled water but its all they have apparently. They close in 45 minutes. Were eating and theyre mopping. Will NOT return!

If youre looking for authentic Vietnamese, this is not the place. The food is ok, and the service was good. The reason I why I am not giving more stars is quite simple. As a business that provides food, and then not provide a glass of water. That to me is ridiculous, the only option for a drink is to either pay for a soda or buy a bottle of water. I dont think we will be back anytime soon. I am a water drinker and enjoy having the option of having water with my meal. If you are considering eating here, be aware that you will need to buy a drink or bottle of water.

Been here a few times now and everytime I go there, they are always friendly and greet me kindly even when they are super busy. I appreciate that! I think its a family run business and the food is really good. I get just about a variety of things, banh xeo, bun bo hue, combo pho, pork banh mi some Thai milk tea or ice coffee. I like that they are 5 mins away. Reminds me of Viet place I used to frequent in the bay.

I enjoyed coming here with my family, its a nice small restaurant but the atmosphere is great and comfy. In my opinion, I loved the pho they serve. The pho broth needs little to no additional sause (unless you want It spicy). The portion is awesome, and the beef ribs make a great addition to the pho. However, it would be nice to get refills on soft drinks and was not expecting a can, but it fine. Overall, I enjoy dining here even if it is a trip to get here.

We were a family of 9 dining in on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away and drinks ordered within 2 mins. Our food also came out quick. Food was on point, but staffs were even better. Loved the great customer service, which we dont really get at pho places. I recommend the bun bo hue and egg rolls. They dont use the regular eggroll wrap. They use the stringy rice wrap and it was really crunchy. We had a great experience!

Food was excellent. I get the ribeye pho every time. The place was crowded and people showed up in huge groups with no seating available. It was windy and cold outside, but the people waiting would stand in the door so the wind would blow into the tables near the entrance.

One of the best Pho spots in Sacramento, their P1 with ribs is worth it, shrimp is on point and the egg rolls are worth writing home about. They do charge for bottled water even thought they DONT offer free water. But its not worth a 1 star ding. If you love pho, noodles and/or egg rolls. 10/10 would recommend.

This is my favorite pho restaurant in Elk Grove. The broth has a lot of flavor while not being too overpowering like some other restaurants. I rarely find myself adding anything to the broth. Its thats good! Service is also quick and friendly every single time.

This establishment will only sell you bottled water. 50 cents ea. Kirkland Brand. No free waterFirst time Ive encountered this around Elk Grove. And, the food was cold. The prices were high. The service was mediocre. I had to ask for a menu. I had to ask for chopsticks. I had to ask for soy sauce. There are much better places to eat locally.

We had company from out of town that were craving Pho. I asked a friend in EG which place we should go to. We have nothing but great things to say about our food and the amount that was given in a serving. I used to come here when it was the old pho place, and I gave this place a try when it first opened and thought it was good at first. After trying it a few more times I noticed things changing, from the way the food taste to the service you receive (whether youre dinning in or picking up - they think everyone is a Uber eats driver). To say thr least, experience has changed.The taste is not genuine and not much effort is placed flavor either tradition or originality. The service feels unwelcoming at best, hardly a smile, and warm greetings; it feels like youre doing them more trouble by giving them business than they should feel grateful to have a customer (strange feeling)..My recent visit I overheard the owner tell a staff member in Vietnamese to just reheat and the customer wont tell a difference in a mean and derogatory way. When I confronted the guy, I asked him if the owner would think thats OK, he said I am the owner very cocky and disrespectful...This type of behavior from the owner made me understand why the taste and service wasnt to par with a well-rounded restaurant, one that has friendly staff, tasty food, and good spirit when you come in.I wouldnt not recommend it, unless youre in desperate need of pho noodles with little flavor and low energy staff.

The pho hit the spot! Savory with good portion! The pho special with the rib had tons of flavor and meat. If you dont want to eat like a glutton though, get a different pho meal with just one type of meat. Their egg rolls are also delicious, made with a different type of wrapping that gives it a light and flaky outside.

YESSS!! Finally a place with THE BEST BUN RIEU in Sacramento. Sure they can add some slices of pork belly or snail option, but the broth is seriously the bomb. On top of that, their chili paste is actually spicy. Their Pho is one of the best in Sacramento too, just right there with Sit Lo Saigon. Their Hu Tieu Mi is also good but the dry version is super salty. And of course the BUn Bo Hue, I don’t know but it’s missing something, maybe too oily and not flavorful enough to me? I guess this one is a hit or miss. They just need to add Bo Luc Lac and their menu will be completed. Clean environment, staffs are friendly. I only point my friends here for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Yum is the word I describe for the noodle soup that is H1. It is a different type of soup and it isnt pho. It has sort ribs I believe, tiny shrimpies that give some flavor to the soup, ground pork and some other pork, quail eggs and regular shrimps. Not sure what else but I love this soup. If I could eat it every week I would. The service is awesome too!

My family and I came for lunch this morning for their soft opening.The food was great and the service was timely. We had the Bistro sampler, OMG it was a meal in itself. It came with egg rolls, grilled pork and shrimp roll, honey garlic wings and crab and cream cheese wontons. Unfortunately the kids were hungry and finished the sampler before I could take a picture. Everything was fresh and delicious! There were four of us and we did not have to wait long for our food at all.I had the bun bo hue and my family ordered the pho bistro and hu tieu noodle soup. We all enjoyed our food and the place has a nice ambiance.Great food and extremely reasonable prices make this a GREAT lunch spot. We need more authentic Vietnamese eatery in Elk Grove and Im glad to have found one close to home. We cant wait to go back and try other menu items!

My first time here on their soft opening. I had phở. It tastes fine. The broth is a bit on the salty side. They use large-type noodle. I am more used to the thin, small noodle. Its just a personal preference, but if there are choice of noodle, it would be better.Water is served in a mason jar. I never understand the appeal of using mason jar for serving non-alcoholic liquid. Too trendy and hip in a phở place for me.The wood bench at the wall is higher than regular chairs and with the raised edge, sitting on it is uncomfortable for adults.My rating of 4 * is for the food only.

Best bun bo hue Ive ever had. Ive had bun bo hue from Pho Saigon, Ciao Do, Long Sandwich, and the pho place right beside A and A Supermarket in Sacramento. I think this place has the best bun bo hue. I like to buy it as a take out order and then add additional mint, Vietnamese coriander, green onions, and cilantro. I also like to add my own homemade chili oil to it. Its sweet and savory, but the herbs balance out the sweetness and creates a very refreshing taste that makes me want more. The meatballs are also very good. The other bun bo hues Ive had doesnt have homemade meatballs, but they use Vietnamese meatloaf instead. I highly recommend this place for their bun bo hue!

With all the choices for pho in the area, this place did not fare well.. the wife and i both had the pho bistro. We were served different noodles from each other and had different amounts of meat. Also, the rib was too tough to eat while the broth was barely warm enough for the raw ribeye. The thai tea was watered down. Spring roll wrapper barely held up.. the flavors for everything were great but overall not worth the price. There are better and more affordable places for pho.

Pho was great! I ordered some banh mi sandwiches and felt ripped off. There were barely anything inside the 3 sandwiches. The second half of the sandwich had only a few tiny pieces of meat for $6 sandwhiches. They were only 1/4 filled with fillings and my kids ate mainly bread. Two thumbs down.

It is ok. they do try to differentiate themselves with the decor. I like the fact that they used glass mason jars instead of the normal plastic cups that most restaurants use. The bone was a nice touch for the pho. There are tons of other pho places, but it does have a bistro kind of atmosphere to it. I think you guys should enhance that a bit more.

If the protein quality matters to you then this place is a must. The thin meat slices_beef round... are high grade quality...perfectly creamy. Lots of other places have been winging it on the meat slices. Not this place. As well this is the only place you can can get a lychee lemonade in all of Sac, maybe all of Ca.

Finally a good Pho, Hu Tieu and Bun Bo Hue restaurant. If you dont know what those items are... then shame on you! lol. Those are the top 3 noodles in the Vietnamese culture and its all flavorfully packed into one restaurant! What more can you ask for in Elk Grove??? When eating at a restaurant, if the menu is small, that means they focus their energy and time into a very narrow list of specialty items. Thats what makes this place a gem in my book. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is so unsanitary, I wish I spent my money elsewhere. The employee coughed in my food and checked to see if there was something floating in it before she handed it to me. The food tastes very good. It is one of the few restaurants that uses a small amount of flavoring crystals so you wont feel thirsty after eating. The noodle soup is slightly overcooked. Can!
