Easy to miss and open for a year now, Pho and Bun brings back memories of what pho used to taste like 10 years ago, for me at least.Their special is the pho with beef ribs. With that, you get a nice hot bowl of pho and two beef ribs with a large portion of meat attached. They bring everything on a cart.They give you a fork and knife to remove the meat yourself. Some might call the meat on the ribs gristle, but its quite good and had a very nice flavor since it was cooked in the pho broth.Their broth is quite fragrant and tasty. The heavier cinnamon makes you think the broth is sweeter than it actually is. No MSG after effects, for me, at least.Have the thin steak served on the side, and you can have yourself a little hot pot.Bring cash if you canYou get 10 percent off if you pay in cash.Im guessing Pho and Bun is run by mom and son. Decor and Service are warm and friendly. There is no pink soap in a gallon jug and green chopsticks in this place.I definitely recommend Pho and Bun.We will return when we get the chance

This place surprised me with the quality of its pho. I tried the number one on the menu, and the broth was authentic and rich in nutrients from the beef ingredients. It was also free of MSG, which was a big plus for me. The restaurant is small and cozy, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place for a bowl of pho. I have not yet tried other type of noodles/dishes on the menu.

Massive portions of delicious food! Super friendly store with fair pricing. The house special pho had an amazing broth, especially if youre a fan of lighter broths. The ribs were super flavourful and tender. I only wish the beef was a bit more rare, but otherwise amazing! Highly recommended.

Probably the best Pho I have ever had! The broth was so flavorful that it barely needed sauces.Usually I’m a fan of adding jalapeños and sriracha to flavor the broth and noodles but it was just so good with a light sprinkle.The grilled rib was also a pretty interesting addition.Will definitely come back again

My girlfriend and I decided to have pho here and it didnt disappoint. Firstly, this is a mom and pop business, and I think their whole family works here. I like those kinds of places because I feel like theres better service by people who have a vested interest in the business, and its not just a job to them. The service was lightning fast by the mother of the family. We were seated immediately, and served menus. When we were ready she took our order without writing it down on paper and had perfect mental notes. Our food was just as fast, and just as we ordered. We ordered pho ga (chicken) and it was great! The Vietnamese coffee and hot tea were amazing, and my girlfriend enjoyed her Coke out of the can with the glass of ice served with it. Overall it was a great experience and well definitely be going back, 5⭐s.

Definitely one of the best experiences we’ve had at a pho restaurant. The food and service were amazing and the restaurant was impeccably clean. The quality of ingredients seems much better than most pho places. Will drive the 30-40min from home to support this great little restaurant in the near future.

Very yummy broth! It’s quite light and great for people with high cholesterol. Bún Bò Huế was mild spice, so perfect for someone like me who still wanted a good flavour with less intensity.Their beef rib sold out by 6pm, so we weren’t able to try it, but they told us it takes >3h and would be available for 7pm.They also offer vegetarian tofu & veggie pho on demand and the friends who had it really enjoyed it!

Pho & Bun is a gem among a crowded list of Vietnamese noodle restaurants in the south bay. The location in Milpitas is small but the flavors are bold and the food is super delicious. It was our first time visiting and like any special place that focuses on quality, popular dishes, albeit the best dishes will quickly sell out. We were lucky to experience the beef rib pho noodle soup on a Sunday night. Eager to please, the manager waited and served us. Calamansi juice was quickly offered as a drink conjuring up childhood memories of this liquid gold citrus drink that typically can only be found in tropical countries. The soup was loaded with rare beef slices, flank steak, beef ball and rice noodle. The broth wasnt salty nor oily, a testament to the chefs passion and care. The complimentary vegetables were fresh and truly added to the flavors of the broth. There is no need to add hoisin or Sriracha sauce. The meat on the two bone beef rib was tender and flavorful. A meal, fit or a king or the hungriest of guests. No wonder it quickly sells out. I highly recommend this place. A second visit is worth considering very soon.

We have been looking for a good pho place near us and finally have one! Their pho has a nice light flavor without being too strong on certain spice flavors (star anise, cinnamon, cloves, etc.) which is what I look for personally. The bone that comes with the #1 pho order is surprisingly tasty! I was worried it was just a gimmick, but its seasoned so well and differently from the pho flavors that make it so you want to keep alternating eating the two.The spring rolls here are also shockingly delicious! You might think youve tried one, youve tried them all, but the unique sauce the owner created is such a nice twist that elevates what is usually a simple dish. The owner is very friendly and sincere, so we plan to come back frequently.
