This review is for the Boba only, I did not try the food. Boba pearls are extra but they are not good at and most clumpped together. As a whole the boba tea here is not good.
I would put zero stars if i could. Waited half an hour for shrimp egg rolls that were burnt to a crisp yet some how given to me cold?? When i asked for my money back they were resistant and did not give me the correct amount back. Thieves with disgusting food and terrible customer service. Never coming back.
Super friendly people, customer service was enough for me to come back. noodles with chicken was good. havent had vietnamese food all that much so it was nice trying something new. the mango green tea was a little sugar-y but still yummy if you have a sweet tooth.
Ive been there five times for takeout pho soup. First thing is that they close relatively early if you get there at 6:30 theyre probably closed or they run out of soup. Another issue is that they mix up the ingredients for the soup at least twice. And they seem to make mistakes regarding these smoothies and iced coffee occasionally. Another issue is that sometimes you get a wealth of ingredients like sprouts and the greens and other times you get very little portions of the spouts beans etc there seems to be an issue with quality control in regards to portion size. They seem to be friendly folks who want to please their customers but the simple mistakes with taking the order or the smoothies seems to be an issue overall. The food is good but they seem to have issues in getting it right.
This place has great food only problem i have is, its not clean, condiments on table is very dirty like its never been cleaned a lot of build up

Decent place, enough room to dine in, but very hot (AC issue?) inside. Must order at counter and pay before receiving food. Pho has huge portion and very generous on meat options, but broth is too sweet! Even after squeezing several slices of lime and a couple spoons of chili oil it didnt help. Great chili oil though, flavorful and spicy. No service after food is received. Dining area looks clean enough that I wasnt concern. Just wish their broth was LESS sweet.

Over priced and under delivered.My pho was missing several ingredients and my egg rolls were burnt beyond being edible. I called the store several times to boast my dissatisfaction but they never answered and the “mailbox” was full. The portion I feel was very small given the large price tag.The only reason it’s not 1 star is because I did eat it and the flavor was actually fantastic. But the rest of the experience was sub par, I likely won’t be returning.
Overpriced, milk tea is inconsistent (sometimes too sweet and most times tastes like hose water). The food is good, but it’s not worth spending so much.
Wish I could give them more stars, bc the food is great.. but customer service was horrible. Tried to call an order in and was put on hold and probably forgotten. Was on hold for over 5 min and finally gave up. So I Walked in and ordered for a to go order. Again waited for another 15 -20min. I can see if it was a complicated order or it was just busy, but two bowls of pho shouldn’t take that long.
Ive driven past this place time and time again and finally decided to eat there. Im glad I did. The pho portion was bigger than expected but oh man was it good. If you havent tried thus place yet, go for it. Ill definitely be eating here again in the future.
The food there was great, I got the chicken rice noodle bowl and enjoyed it. Its also my favorite place to go earlier in the day as there arent many people in their. The Boba they had wasnt exactly the best so order one at your own risk.
It’s a hidden gem!Such great pho soups. The food comes super fast (but doesn’t take away from the flavor). Parking is a hit and miss due to the location and having it share the parking with others.Definitely stop by! We sure enjoy it.
Foods awesome. Boba drinks are good but I bit to sweet. So gotta ask for light sugar. Only complaint is there ac needs to be fixed or I would visit more often.
Meal was great. Got the Noodle Beef and veggie thing (bun bo xao) and a chicken sandwich.Pro:-They give you a good amount of meat and it is all tender and edible, no tendons or bones to separate, so you really get what you pay for there.-sandwich was crispy on the outside soft on the inside with lots of meat😋-To go packaging was neat and tidy.-Family business I thinkWhy not 5 stars? 4 means it rocks but if you must know:-The bun bo xao has more meat than some places but does not come with egg roll as may places do, so buy some because crunch goes well with it, I used the sandwich.-the sandwich veggies could have used more of a pickle flavor to my taste.
Ive eaten here about 4 times now. Ive only had the chance to eat their sandwiches. Nothing ground breaking, but the sandwiches are still delicious.
Giant portion bowls of good pho. I took a couple stars off because none liked the strawberry milk tea it really was bad and at $5.50 a drink.. Also, not really a fan of washable chopsticks in cup on table, thats putting too much faith in other patrons cleanliness for me but will definitely go again, just order Pho to go.
Very delicious boba. The pearls were perfect and the strawberry flavor tasted like strawberry. I would highly recommend this place for your boba needs. I havent tried the food yet but I will one day!!! :)

I ordered the mango smoothie with a little bit of boba. Some of the boba was like a rock. Hurt my teeth. It also tasted like they put 2 cups of sugar in it. So very sweet. I am still trying to recover from the sugar high. Other than that, I guess it was ok. I also had a really bad stomach ache afterward.
Pho soup broth was lukewarm (I live around the corner), had to heat it up in my microwave, flank steak had more fat than steak, egg rolls tasted like they reused the oil (not fresh), and spring roll had old lettuce discoloring. Not a great experience. Only reason I will give two stars is because the other place was closed.
Definitely would recommend to family and friends. Service, food, and price are all outstanding. We had the house specialty pho and Korean BBQ and they were both very delicious.
This place is under new ownership and management so the customer service is a lot better, if you didn’t like it before, try it again next time because the food is so much better and is being cooked by a great chef!

Have been here multiple times, and have always enjoyed the food. The pho is good with a slightly sweet broth, the rice plates are my fiances favorite, and the bahn mi(sandwhiches) are always well put together.❤ Although not my favorite place for milk tea, they do have some good ones along with Boba which I know is very popular nowadays. The only thing that I wanted more herbs in were the spring rolls, but I understand that not everyone likes mint and basil. I have yet to try their smoothies Although I would love to in the near future. Overall a good spot to go in Yuba City. Definitely recommend. 🥰❤
We had the Rare steak Pho, flavor was good. Broth was a generous amount, could have used a little more noodle/meat but overall good. Id come back and try more off the menu.
Ive had pho many times and these guys are good. Service was very quick, the gentleman I spoke with wasnt sure on 1 ingredient but was well knowledge on the rest. The broth was not my favorite. To me it was not great.Pretty clean inside, decent little place for a quick date.
Pho is ok.... but the boba tea isnt as good.... I remember going here a couple of times to get boba and the pearls are either not boil throughly or they put overdue milk in my boba tai tea.
I would love to give an actual review of the restaurant but when I got there at 10:30 to place an order they were not open until 11:30. In this day and age I think you would update your online platform. This review is no reflection of the food
Ordered through door dash and our driver went there and no one gave him our order or even spoke to him. He sat there for 30 minutes! Nice customer service.
I would Leave zero stars if I could .. ordered my pho order to have meat in it to go. When I go home, it did not have meat whatsoever tried to call them never answered me will never go back there.. plus it’s not that good ..
Came in with my kids and niece who all have been dying to try Boba. The guy at the counter was incredibly confusing. Told me they were out of fruit weird. Then we ordered 5 Boba drinks Strawberry, even though they were out of fruit the price right in front of me said 3.75 each. We ordered nothing else. He then says to me your total is $29 something My mouth dropped. I said $30 for 5 drinks? The price right here says they are $3.75, he says to me oh, those are the old prices. We politely canceled our order and walked out.
Darker broth pho. Really nice staff and they actually have a to go bowl style bowls where u can put your broth into the rare meat and noodle options. Super awesome because a lot of pho places dont have that.And its seems to be few options for pho in Yuba so 5 stars. A good family there.
Drove all the way from Woodland because I was told they had great pho, boy where they wrong. I order the raw steak and brisket pho, first I literally had 3tiny pieces of raw steak and 5 very small pieces of brisket. The broth was half of what you get at any other Vietnamese restaurant and it actually had a sweet taste. 🤮 I tried to eat it but I just couldnt. Maybe they taught I never had pho before or theyre just not good.
Horrible Pho. You get hardly any meat in it, a massive ball of noodles and the broth is definitely made from some sort of powder. Dehydrated onions were floating in the bowl. The water has a strange almost grey water taste to it. Would not recommended this place to anyone.
The food was good. And its nice to have more diversity in restaurant choices in our area. Thai iced tea was perfect. Service was bad. Staff disappeared and the chef did not speak English. It was very hot inside. It could be a bit cleaner.
The cook that was preparing our sandwich wasn’t wearing a mask while engaging customers within 3 feet per COVID guidelines. He also wasn’t wearing gloves or washing his hands after touching money then preparing food. I give a big thumbs down for safety and cleanliness. If that issue is fixed, I can say the food is tasty.
My wife and I picked up Pho for dinner. We could have stayed in to eat, however we got it to go. The soup is set to build yourself once you are ready to eat. I would recommend if you are looking for Vietnamese food.
Edit: Im changing this from a 4 stars to 5 stars. I tried it again and this time it was bussin! And about the chili oil, all you gotta do is ask them for it!Broth was good but nothing special. Was kind of a cloudy broth but as long as its got the taste down, its ok. I didnt like the chili paste they have because its kind of tangy. I prefer chili oil.
Place had a bad odor. Couldnt finish eating. Saw old man smelling bread and looking like he didnt trust it but made a sandwich with it anyway. The pho was ok but the egg rolls tasted like they had potato in them. Sketchy place. Wont be back.
This is my normal go to spot for boba but I just went in at 7:20 and got instantly turned away rudely, saying they’re closed. The door was unlocked and says that they close at 9 and online it says that they close at 8. Seems like they just didn’t want to work…

Been waiting 20 min here for here for two sandwiches. Finally went up to the counter to ask about it and was told theyre going to makes it. Then they messed up my order when making it. Never ever coming back. It wasnt even busy. There were two ppl here when we got here. They even messed up on other ppl orders after they messed mine up. And I ordered to go so apparently I was in a rush.
Well, the boba drinks taste very souring and watering. As you keep drinking ...the flavor will be gone and it will have that weird taste to it. Lychee, strawberry, Thai tea.The sandwich was awesome.
Great food but the wait is crazy long. Order yummies chicken over rice. They said 20mins. Got there, waited another 30mins. Its super hot inside, smoke from cooking like there are no ventilation.
Wanted to change my review because I went in yesterday and felt like I recieved what I am use to getting. I really love the pho here and would rather see a bit of a price increase instead of smaller portions. Thanks for fixing it. Best pho in town

Huge fan of Pho Cali. Service is maybe slow at times because they are busy, but the wait is totally worth it. Everything is fresh and so delicious.
Ive been here quite a few times, the Pho and eggrolls are really good. Service is great, much more organized now than when they first opened. You can get the Pho to go, and they pakage it very well.
WORST BOBA IVE EVER HAD. Service was horrible, it was like 90 degrees in there, all of our drinks were wrong, half of the boba was inedible. I do not recommend if you want boba.
Their pho is really good. The broth is flavorful, but I wish you could get more than four proteins. Otherwise, its awesome and four proteins might be plenty for other people.
Worth stopping in to try something to eat or a quick bite. For small town folks who need a change .... at least try a smoothie with boba. Bahn mi with bbq pork is my fav and obviously the pho but everyone has different taste buds.

The pho is decent. The price is a little bit pricey. Im disappointed they would use the beef broth for the chicken phó. Thats just laziness. Also they shouldnt promote they deliver when they cant do it especially when they dont have enough staffing.

The noodle of the pho is very soggy, do not like the taste of thier noodle, i rather make my own pho at home to eat then wste my money on this pho. i eat pho in almost every city i go to and this is the worst. Hey Hey ice cream pho is better.

Terrible freaking customer service. I always come, I’m always last to get my food, plus my order is never correct, they don’t answer the phone at all. The only reason I continue to go is because I don’t know where else to go get the same kind of food.

To our surprise, the size of one order was good for 2-3persons. LOLWith the serving size aside, I looooove it. Maybe next time, well share one.Thai tea milk tea was yum!Latest visit, me and my friend just shared one bowl of flank steak pho. The weather is getting colder, best for pho again. This time we got bread and spring rolls. All delicious.

2022-05-16 01:53:14This is the best phó you can get in YC. Its a small cute restaurant but its really good! Weve been coming here since they first opened. The Thai tea with boba and the chicken bánh mì are another favorite that we always get. Definitely recommend if youre looking for good food.

They did not include our $9.50 potstickers, there were no extras like sprouts, there was very little meat and the quatity is clearly much smaller when you order pho take out. Were still hungry.I guess thats how they make their money. Not a do-over.

And I am now IN LOVE with the original milk tea thanks to Pho Cali! My family loved their coconut milk tea and honeydew milk tea. We ordered their rice plates with grilled chicken and beef which in our opinion, have a much better Asian vegetable medley than Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. Pho Cali served us at our table and gave us complimentary cups of ice water. I wish we could give them more stars because they were so nice and what we ordered was so amazingly good, BUT we have to be honest about our issues.PROBLEMS: pork in a lot of the dishes leaves even fewer dishes to choose from for the many people in this area that CANT EAT PORK, HUGE disappointment on top of Pho Calis already slim selection of dishes. Also the single bathroom needs improvement, no air conditioning, the meat portions are very small for the price you pay compared to the Teriyaki House on Butte House Road in Yuba City. No fountain drinks, only a few flavors of canned soda for $2.50 each which is crazy.

2018-04-24 23:48:36They have Boba! Ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea with Boba, it was delicious and fruity. Also ordered two smoothies with Boba, one was Taro the other was Avocado. The milk tea seemed sweeter than the smoothies (probably because the ice is blended in the smoothies). There is one size (about 20 oz). The taste was wonderful and we will be frequenting Pho Cali more often now that we know it is here! We have missed our favorite places for Boba/Milk Tea since we moved here from San Diego. Their drinks are great. You must try the Avocado Smoothie with Boba! UPDATE: ask for a punch card, but 10 drinks get 1 free

2022-12-13 19:53:27I mean honestly, go anywhere else. I got a Banh Mi and mango thai tea. They put a smear of pate on the sandwich, a sprinkle of meat and 2 slices of cucumber. My sandwich ended up being mostly bread. No pickled vegetables AT ALL. The boba in the tea was hard and old.
