It was so delicious! I had the Kobe beef, small. And their soft drink was yummy too. So authentic and probably one of the best I had in a long time. The broth was soooo good. They’re also generous with the vegetables and lemon!

Really surprised of the high marks of this place. Unfortunately, I didnt have a good experience dining here. The pho was sub par especially with the broth being too dark, salty and bland if thats possible. I seriously doubt its real Kobe beef as they claim but it was tender. Medium was $16, small was $14. Service was meh. Couple other customers were playing the football games on their phones out loud with complete disregard to others.Lots of homeless in the area, so dont leave anything in view in your car. There are separate men and women restrooms. Does accept credit cards.

We ordered a small and large #2 combination and the portion size was decent. Good noodles to meat ratio however the reason for the low star was the soup broth. The broth had no pho broth taste and was more salty compared to other broths Ive had. It was difficult to enjoy the pho bowl because of the disappointing broth.

Best pho Ive ever had... Broth is light but extremely flavorful! They give you an option to pick fresh rice noodles or the dry one which is nice. The beef they use is always super tender even if it sits in the broth for a while. Pretty big portions depending on what size you get. Its also very affordable, you can get a bowl for less than $10

Ive always just ordered doordash from this place and have always been impressed by their attention to detail compared to all the others. I have put in special requests notes on my orders and they have followed the instructions exactly.Recently, I have decided to go into the place for the first time and I was impressed by the atmosphere and cleanliness of the establishment and service. Their pho is always consistent and their broth is very delicious, flavorful, and aromatic. This place has become my go-to for pho as I live pretty close by. If youre looking for a bomb AF bowl of pho, then you need to come here. One question though, why are you guys not on UberEATS?

The best pho restaurant in bay are!The soup is rich and smell so good. The oxtail was tender but not too soft.Most importantly, it is clean. Staff were wearing mask even though not required.In addition, it is quick. It only took ~3min to get the food ready after placing the order.Highly recommended.

I tried this place due to the high star ratings. I would not recommend this restaurant. I ordered the chicken soup. There were no choice pieces of chicken in this dish. Most were tough and not edible. The ones that I did eat were so so. The Vietnamese coffee was decent but the price was not. I will not be going back.

Signature Pho Pho Bo USA Kobe Beef with Fresh Noodles: 4 stars. Noodles are the absolute best Ive ever had in pho. Meat is not very tasty, but there is a LOT of meat. Broth is decent, but not very flavorful.Egg Rolls: Better than most.Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef): Does not taste authentic whatsoever. Even that aside, it just isnt very good.

The pho here is pretty good. You get to choose fresh noodles with no extra charge. The bun bo hue is tasty and not as spicy compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. The fish sauce chicken wings were a bit overdone.

This place is great!We (2ppl) ordered a large pho special with fresh rice noodle and a spring roll since many reviews said the portion was very large.The broth had a deep flavor and the noodles and meat were all great.I especially want to recommend the spring rolls! The portion is really large and the peanut sauce that comes with it goes really well with the roll. The combination of the shrimp, meat and the veggies is amazing. Felt like spring coming to me when I had the first bite!I will definitely revisit to try the kobe beef pho too.

The broth was amazing, in both the chicken and vegetable pho however, my chicken was rubbery and my personal preference is no not have the skin and tendons still on the meat. Pho is delicious. Pho Chay (vegetarian pho) is good. Medium bowl is large. Egg rolls are good. The portion is generous with the noodles. Good price and friendly service which is rare in Vietnamese restaurants. Would recommend!!

Last Friday, I visited the restaurant. I ordered Bun Bo Hue and Cha Gio. The first dish was not good. It was salty and not “Bun Bo Hue” at all. In the menu, they claim that there is pork blood cube but there was not. It is just a mixture of broth and red spices and they call it Bun Bo Hue. I was wondering if the owner ever tries authentic Bun Bo in Hue city of Vietnam. The second dish is good. Crunchy and tasty. Recommend it, not the first one.

The rare fillet mignon just melts! Ive never had such tender beef in pho. I got phở tái chín (with rare beef + well-done brisket) and both the rare beef and brisket were very excellent, and they give you a generous amount of meat here. As much as I liked the meat, I cant get enough of their fresh noodles! Finally theres one place that serve real authentic pho noodles!!! Pho noodles are supposed to be slightly wide and thin, much thinner than the fresh pho noodles served in other restaurants. This is the first place in America that Ive been to that serves authentic pho noodles, and Ive been on the hunt for 7 years... Also, being from North of Vietnam, I really appreciate the vinegar - so few pho places here have it!

Authentic home style pho. Great broth but for those people who like boneless, skinless, fearless chicken this place is not for you. I loved it, quick service, and down-home atmosphere. The fresh spring rolls were very good and bursting with basil and then dip into the peanut sauce with some sriracha hot sauce. Oh, great iced coffee too!

It was my first time here, and I really had an incredible experience with filet mignon and Im still buzzing with excitement! The tenderness of the meat was unreal - it was like cutting through butter, and every bite was pure bliss. And the sauce flavors perfectly complemented the meat, bringing out all of its natural sweetness and richness. If youre a meat lover, this is the dish you need in your life!

Good pho, good portions, relatively efficient service. We had a number 7 and number 1 with the kobe beef. We had a hair in one of the pho bowls. Really liked their sweet pickled garlic. Our visit was on a Saturday evening and the wait staff seemed slightly overwhelmed with the crowd.

In A Nutshell:-Living in the #1 (or #2 depending on the year) most populated Vietnamese-American community in the USA offers you a sea of pho choices.-Pho Dao is one of those choices, but they stick out primarily IMHO b/c of their great tasting broth.-You get an average size bowl full of the mouth-watering broth along w/ some choices cuts of meats & white rice noodles.-The veggies (basil, soybeans, etc..) are minimal.-The inside of the restaurant seems a little more hip w/ some nice interior design.Overall, this is a pho restaurant WORTH EATING AT among the sea of pho restaurants in the South Bay.

I love pho, period. And I craze for pho without msg! Very generous on the meat portion and stet stew it perfectly so the flavors go in the meat. I normally can’t even finish a bowl of noodles but these were heavenly. The broth was light but tasty, too. All the beef ones are the same price except for Kobe beef.They have plenty of seatings so it wasn’t too crowded during dinner time, which was great for me.There is an anniversary discount of 10% through the end of June. Cash only under $10.

Like a few other reviewers, I was surprised by the high marks this place received. The pho is ok. Broth is basic southern style, darker and richer. I ordered the Kobe beef pho and found the fatty (but soft) meat a poor match with a soup that should be refreshing. It ended up being greasy and too meaty in taste.A few other things stood out as odd: lemon instead of lime in the garnish plate, pre-boiled soybean sprouts (they should be fresh and crispy!), a thick sweet sauce accompanying the cha gio/fried imperial rolls instead of the traditional nuoc mam. Overall, the experience was fine, but its not a traditional or authentic pho place--are they catering to a non-Vietnamese clientele? Also pricey for the quality. $60 bucks for 2 soups and 1 order of three rolls.

What a great find! We were shopping at hmart and were looking for a spot to grab some good pho. This was less than 10 minutes away so we had to try! We walked in around 6pm on a Saturday dinner, the restaurant was half crowded and we were able to grab a seat immediately. Self-seating, service was also pretty quick. The menu isnt super extensive as other Vietnamese restaurants - they had mostly pho, some appetizers, some drinks, and some desserts. No che, no vermicelli bowls or anything of that sort. This is a good sign, means they focus on select items and do it well. You pay at the bar area (looks like a bar area).We both got the large pho each which honestly is a good amount of food. Not too much but not too little. I got the pho tai and the husband got pho dac biet. We also got orders of chicken salad and spring rolls. The spring rolls came with 3 spring rolls, good amount! Most places noways only provide 2. The chicken salad was light and refreshing, huge, and came with generous portions of chicken. Love this! Our pho came out quickly too. The broth isnt as salty as other pho places - they probably dont use msg or overload it with salt. It has a hint a beef, but it does taste a little diluted. It was still good though. The quality of the beef is good quality - my husband kept raving about how it was the best quality meat hes seen used at a pho restaurant. They gave generous portions of rare steak slices in my pho too! My husband ordered the dao special drink which they forgot. We had to remind them. I actually thought that drink was good! It says it has sparkling water but it tastes like they used sprite, and it came with honey/mint. It tasted like it had the pickled plum candy in there though.Overall it was quick, affordable, and delicious. We would probably come back if were in the area especially if were shopping at hmart. You know this place is going to be good because the menu just has pho. Few other things here and there, sure, but we come for the pho. I hate how many Vietnamese restaurants here would try to make as many dishes as possible. You walk into this place and you smell that pho broth right away like youre back in VN. Just good old plain pho. The location is also a little off the beaten path so its not packed with patrons. The staff is off putting but I came for the food, not to make friend. Definite my go to pho spot now.

I used to go here weekly for lunch because their food was good and prices were fair but ever since covid, their food doesnt seem up to par and theyve been charging extra fees like service fee and credit card fees. Check your receipts!Updated: The pho is still okay. Server was wearing flip flops🤔. Food came out fast👍. Outdoor dining is so so. Lots of homeless activity and even saw a drug deal go down while I was dining😳. The prices are much higher (which is understandable) but I am not okay about the additional covid health fee on my bill😡.

We ordered fresh rice noodle for the Pho but they didnt use fresh rice noodle instead of the thin dry rice noodle.Broth is not that great.Meat was ok.First time that I couldnt finish my bowl of Pho.We also try the shaken beef rice plate and it wasnt good also.I think this place is not for us or anyone that know the real taste of a good bowl of pho. This place is not close to my house, but I drove there to try the fresh noodles everyone recommended. I ordered small #2 with fresh noodles. Portion is bigger than expected, broth was so flavorful, meat was tender, best of all the fresh noodles were beyond expectation. I also liked that they cook the bean sprouts even though I didnt ask, not a lot of places do that. Service was quick, place was clean, overall a very good experience.

I would recommend going to this restaurant for the excellent Pho but skipping if youre concerned about cleanliness. I am a bit of a Pho/noodle aficionado. Pho Dao makes a solid broth, very beefy and flavorful. Meat is fresh, they steam the bean sprouts to keep the broth steaming hot.I think it is a bit sweeter than it should be, but outside of that, great taste. I just wish it could be a bit beefier and less overpowering with the rock sugar. Good condiments and chili sauce to top off the broth also (hint: I do not mean Sirarcha).

My favorite Pho close by home. They offer 3 bowl sizes S M L and I usually go for the large as Im a big eater. For an average person, M will be more than enough to fill your hunger. The broth has sweet taste to it and the beef is high quality grade very tender and I like that they have a can of soda for 1.50. Its the reason this place is crowded during lunch hour.My colleagues and I usually dine here on Friday. We come early so no wait.

Have visited this restaurant several times. Finally we found a dish we really liked which is wanton soup at pho restaurant. Can taste heavy MSG in wanton and soup. Will be fine if only taste it once in a while. That might be reason why we think wanton soup is okay. Otherwise, no Pho dish is acceptable including signature Pho - way oily. First time here. :) I like tasty food but will refuse to take if it comes from not clean environment or kitchen in the back ! At first glance, this place was very clean, nice interior, spacious and even the music was so gorgeous. Felt like airport VIP lounge ? :) haha. Other than that, all the staffs were so kind and fast too. Looks like they are very specialized restaurant for Pho only, that tastes really AWESOME ! I really enjoyed it. The great thing is that almost all of the menu items include fillet mignon. it has a 15 dollar minimum for credit cards. Parking is easy there. Its not always crowded at lunches on week days, but its not dead either, its a pretty famous place. They have three sizes of small medium and large. The medium is enough for me usually.

I dropped by to FINALLY try some of the Pho soup noodle at this place today.I was urged a few times to try the place out.It is very impressive, the service was prompt and friendly.My take-away dine out meal was neat and fresh: Well cooked Noodles, Fresh veggies and meat cuts as well as quality selections was good and the only thing is that the soup (I found the soup broth to be very aromatic) spilled out of its container but was held securely in the bag it was wrapped in BOO the spill and Wow no mess?!?!That would have been a sad mess not to have my Complete meal by. TL;DR: Get the #2 Pho Dat Biet with steak on the side. No regrets.Absolutely great Pho place. Mostly known for their Kobe Pho, I definitely feel like the Pho Dat Biet is actually the star on their menu. Comes with a whole lot of meat and, if you get the raw steak on the side, definitely makes for a more tender, meaty experience. They also got the good vegetables and they have the blanched bean sprouts on the side as well (which many restaurants only do upon request).

Hands down best Pho in San Jose. I come from Gilroy, the pho in Gilroy isn’t good. i went all over town and asked friends for a good pho spot. They told me this place and they were right. The broth is extremely tasty, I got the #2 with the Kobe beef, in honor of Kobe Bryant, it hit the spot. The #1 is their specialty. The line was out the door when I arrived but the wait wasn’t long. Excellent pho spot in the Berryessa area, with plenty of varieties of pho to choose from. One of the few spots if anything that offers small, medium, and large sizes of pho. The broth is rich and savory and the beef here is tender & juicy! Between this spot and Pho Kim Long, please go here as their pho is so much better than Kim Long.

I had a large special #1 with an extra order of tai bum (they are calling it hammered filet mignon), fresh noodles, along with my usual preferred crime partners of sliced onions in vinegar, green onion tips in beef fat, extra sliced jalepenos, and steamed sprouts (not a fan of making my soups cold). I got there a little after 8:10 in the morning and I was the 4th table seated. Everyone was having phone this cold morning. I was quickly served my steaming bowl of pho and I was not disappointed. The soup is legit here. Deep, rich, beefy, pho goodness. Broth is clear and clean. This is the one of just a handful of places that Ive eaten at in the world that I DONT add the table condiments. It is the kind of broth that makes me nostalgic for my mothers pho when she would start the broth on Friday night so we can have it Sunday morning after church. Needless to say say I left feeling way better than when I came in. If youre on the fence, try it the broth is legit.

I had beef kobe pho and my wife had chicken pho. With a 4.5 star average we were expecting something special. It was good but not outstanding. The chicken pho had both dark and white meat and skin. A nice touch is that they serve pho ga with roasted garlic and even offer garlic as a condiment. The thin rice noodles were excellent, it was the brorh (the most important part) which was average.

I ordered a oho tai and the restaurant use flank steak which is the cheapest cut of beef that they can use for pho tai. I also ordered some egg rolls and they were made ahead of time so the egg rolls were not very good. Head to pho Tasty or pho.Kim Long. Pho Tasty is a few blocks away while pho Kim Long is farther. You will get better pho and egg rolls.
